chapter 36: radiator springs Grand Prix, Almost!

AN: this is a bit short, but not as short as he last one.

Christine's POV

I awoke with a grunt, slowing opening my eyes to see...orange?! I sat up, looking around, the walls were tan and orange, small knickknacks were on shelves. There were two small circular windows on both sides. I Looked up, the ceiling went to a point.

I put my hand on my head, "Where am I?" I asked myself, standing up slowly, realizing right away where I was.

I felt a small like kick, and looked down at my growing belly. "Holy hell...! When did I get so...so big!" I asked myself.

My belly was now visible, it couldn't go unnoticed now. I felt another light kick, and chuckled a bit.

"Hello little one!" I smiled, then there was a knock on the garage type door. "Umm.. It's open?!" I said unsure, it opened to revile... "Sally?!" I asked.

"Yes..! And in case your wondering, your at the ..."

I cut her off. "..the cozy cone motel! I ..I figured it out before." I looked up and smiled at her, she smiled back.

"I'm glad to see your awake! I know you can't drink oil..so..here!" sally pushed a glass of water toward me, along with a hamburger on a plate.

I stared at it, I couldn't remember how long it had been since I had eaten, or even saw food. Food wasn't Important at the time, I was focused more on the mission. I looked up at her, she smiled and nodded. I grabbed the plate like a wild animal, tearing through the burger, finishing it in about 10 seconds. She looked shocked, i grabbed the water, drinking it a bit slower.

"you know...you've been out for two days!" She informed me.

I did a spit take, " WHAT?!" I wiped the water off my face.

"Yup. A day and a half on the plane, and half a day here. So you know, you've gained about 22 pounds. But that's only because of the baby." She stated.

"Y...you know?" I asked her.

"Yes I do. So does the whole town. Everyone needed to know so that they don't accidentally hurt you." She said matter of facility.

"O..ok...um..can I walk around now?" I asked.

"Sure! The others can't wait to meet you!" Sally exclaimed.

I groaned a bit with a sneer, ' she's too perky' I thought, ' nice..But wayyyy to perky!' I stood up and walked out of the cone, and the first thing that hit me was...the heat. I'm use to cold, not hot weather. 'well, welcome Arizona Christine.' i thought as I slowly walked over to where flo's was. It wasn't that long of a walk, plus it couldn't hurt me to walk a bit right. The moment I walked into flo's, it was just like at that club back in Tokyo, everyone stopped what they were doing and stared at me. I wanted to hid, but I swallowed and walked forward.

"Hi.." I said.

"Hello" about 20 cars said in unison.

A car came up behind me that I didn't see at the time, "now don't get into any trouble!" He said, I spun around with a shriek.

Laughter ran out, I blushed a bit, " I'm sheriff, and.." A car rolled up next to him, " this is Ramone." He said.

I chuckled a bit, " I know most of you already. As creepy as that sounds." I said awkwardly.

"Hey dude" he answered. I held up my fingers to make a peace sign, " peace." I chuckled, so did Ramone.

I heard a groan, " not another hippy." The voice growled.

I smirked, knowing that sarge had said that, " I'm not a hippy, but...there really isn't enough love in the world!" I shrugged.

"Ride on man!" A green VW bus said, "I'm Fillmore." He said.

"Hi." I answered him."And...for everyone to hear.." I addressed everyone, "my names Christine Collin. But you can call me chris or CC." I informed them.

"We'll shoot...looks who's up!" Mater exclaimed, pulling into flo's.

I rolled my eyes playfully, " yup. Hi mater." I said.

"Hey ya wanna don' go do somthin' fun?" He asked hopefully.

I grimaced, "ummm...depends on what it is." I put my hand on my belly, " I have to be careful ya know." I frowned.

"We done havin' a race! Da' radiator springs Grand Prix!" He said.

I didn't know wether to freak out in a good way, or a bad way. Then I thought of something, 'where's Finn...and Holley?' I mentally asked myself, then my eyes grew wide, 'where was rod?'.

"Umm...that sounds fun, and...not to dangerous." I answered him, them changed the subject, " umm..." I didn't know how to ask the question in my mind, or how to explain it, or if I should even ask it! My question was answers a few seconds later.

"Ah...I see your awake." A British voice said behind me, I turned around, a small smile on my face.

"Finn?!...I...would have thought you...would of...well..,..you know...not be here!...don't you have to go back to being a..." I covered my mouth. I can't say that 'he's a spy!' Out loud! I mentally cursed myself.

Finn chuckled, " it's alright. They know I'm a spy." He smiled a bit.

I sighed in relief, " what's this about a...race?" I asked to no one in particular.

"We decided to have a world Grand Prix here." A voice said, " thought it was a good idea after what happened." The car drove forward with a smile, " remember me?"

I chuckled with a look of fake shock, then let it go, " yes I remember you...lightening McQueen." I rolled my eyes playfully, " so...the race is your idea?" I asked.

"Yup. And all the racers are here." He said.

"Wait! Really?!" I asked. 'Man. I could make a lot of fangirls back home just die if I met there favorite racers!' I smirked evilly to myself.(just had to add that for the racers fangirls ;))

"Yeeaah...are you ok?" McQueen asked me.

"Just fine..." I chuckled a bit darkly.

Everyone in flow exchanged worried glances, I noticed, "sorry...I'm just being my creepy self." I laughed.

"Remember what I said girl...don't go getting into trouble!" Sheriff said, turning and leaving.

I grimaced a bit, " what's his problem?" I snorted.

"He doesn't like chasing the gangs out when they come through." Lightening said.

"O...oh." I frowned, but smiled again, " when's this race?"

"In about...oh...say...it's 9 'o' clock now,...so...at 2. " Sally said, rolling into flo's.

I looked at my reflection on the shiny walls, "yuck!...I look like s...crap!" I said quickly.

"Nice save." Lightening said.

I laughed, "listen...um...you wouldn't happen to have a ...you know...a shower...or...somthing?" I asked, blushing a bit remembering what happen the last time I took a shower(chapter 25 reference XD).

"Yeah dude...we got one. It's over behind Sally's." romone answered.

"Thanks..." I said, " brb ppl." I said Running for the door.

"What?" Lightening asked.

I stopped, skidding my feet, making the sound of a screech, "it means be right back people." I informed them, " it's text language." I shrugged, running off to find the car wash thing.
