Chapter 36:
Nel held Ichigo as she cried in her chest. "Why does it hurt so much?"
"You're much more sensitive as a female. You'll give in a lot easier than usual. You can only take so many insults before you breakdown." Ichigo squeezed tighter as her tears wet her t shirt. "I'm sorry. I'm wetting your shirt."
"It's fine. I just want you to be happy. Grimmy's going to apologize, but right now you need to sleep."

Kai laid next to the toilet fast asleep with Ulquiorra sitting next to her. He laid a hand on the side of her head. He moved hair out of her face then leans down to kiss her cheek. 'No matter what, I will always keep my promise.' He carefully picked Kai up bridal style and headed back to the room. Kai unconsciously wrapped her arms around his neck. He paused as the female snuggled closer. Ulquiorra sighed and opened the closed door.
It was a little difficult to remove her from his neck, but he did and laid her in the bed. "Hey, Ulqui." He turned to look at Nel. "Can you keep an eye on the gu-girls? We're gonna split up and find Grimm." He only nodded and watched her put the phone to her ear.

Stark, Harribel, Nnoitora, and Yammy sat in a local bar drinking and having fun. Stark gets a call and looks at the collar id. "Hey guys, settle down. Nel's calling. It might be important." The only quieted down slightly, but Stark wasn't complaining. "Hey, Nel. What's u-" He was interrupted by her yelling. He pulled the phone away. "Woah, calm down. What's up?" He asked putting the phone back to his ear. "No. Grimm's not with us."
"Oh. So it's time huh?" This caught everyone's attention. They all looked at Stark, trying to figure out the conversation. Each passing minute Stark began to look worried. "He did what?!" Stark stood up knocking his chair over. "Dammit!" He slammed his fist on the bar. "That dumbass!" They've never seen the brunette so pissed off in their life of knowing him. "We'll find the idiot." Stark hung up and looked at his barmates. "What's goin on with the cat?" Nnoitora asked. "Their mates are pregnant."
"So, what's so bad about it?" Yammy asked shrugging.

"THAT IDIOT DID WHAT?!" People ran out the bar like their lives depended on it. Yammy crashed through the front door of the bar, destroying the window, door, and everything in between. Stark, Harribel, and Nnoitora followed. "Let's split up and find the dumbass." They all agreed and ran in different directions.

Grimmjow stood on the head of the Statue of Liberty looking at the city. New York really was a city that never slept. It was midnight and the city was loud. He could hear cars beeping from where he stood. "So this is where you were, dumbass." He turned his head only to meet a fist. He stumbled backwards and stopped at the edge. A pair of hands grabbed by the collar of his jacket and pulled him back. HE was then thrown to the ground. A hand squeezed his throat as he looked into a pair of tired, but angry blue-grey eyes. "What the hell is wrong with you, Grimmjow? You're putting Ichigo in an emotional state and it's very dangerous for a pregnant mate." Grimmjow blinked twice and looked at Stark. He had nothing to say. He turned away from the man and looked out toward the city. "Look at me." Stark grabbed his cheek and turned his head back. "Grimmjow, we need to talk."

Kai was fast asleep in his room with Ichigo fast asleep next to her. Ulquiorra sat by the bed with a wet cloth. He wiped the dried tears from their faces. "I am sorry, Ichigo." He stood up to leave but a small noise caught his attention. Both Ichigo and Kai were coughing up blood. Kai was leaning over the bed holding her stomach while coughing. Ichigo stumbled out of bed and ran straight for the bathroom.
He ran a hand through his hair. 'What am I doing?' He immediately picked up the closest phone and dialed Szayel's number. "Szayel. They're coughing up blood."
"Dammit, I'm on my way. Keep the within eyesight."

Stark sat on the edge with Grimmjow next to him. "I'm sure you're afraid, but you can't afford to stress Ichigo or Kai out right now. "The stress could kill them. They're in an unstable vulnerable state right now. They weren't born as women, so it'll prove rather difficult for them to adjust. You need to be there for Ichigo. Ulquiorra can't comfort them alone. He'll have his hands full with just Kai."
"It's just too big a responsibility for me. I never expected all this. I was absolutely thrilled when I saw Ichigo again after those ten years. Now that I said what I said he won't forgive me. Doesn't matter if he's a woman or not. He'll still be the same in my eye." Stark sighed. "You need to talk to Ichigo. It's never too late. You better do it soon and before the others find you. They're ready to dismember you."
"Ha. They wouldn't kill their comrade." Stark chuckled. "Just like you didn't hesitate to kill Aaronierro for Ichigo, they won't hesitate to kill you for putting Ichigo in danger. It doesn't matter if he isn't their mates. They protect their comrades and their mates. If they have to they will kill for their comrade's mates even if it's the comrade they have to kill. You better hurry up and apologize."
