When I woke up I as very dizzy and my vision was hazy. I blinked a few times to adjust to the light of the lamp next to me. I turned my head and noticed I was on a bed. I slowly looked down and noticed the bandages wrapped around my waist and stomach. I reached up slowly and painfully. They were thick, that's when I realized I was not wearing a shirt. All I had was a black bra and some jeans.

I tried to sit up but everything tensed as I move. I could hear a very muffled sound coming from below me. I looked around and realized I was in my room, in Bobby's house. The room was dark except for the lamp. I pushed myself up and rubbed my face. I took a deep breath as I sat up and pulled myself to the edge of the bed. The muffled sounds were starting to get very intense. I pushed myself to my feet and after a few wobbles I managed to stay up.

I reached the door slowly and when I opened the door the muffled sounds were now painful screams. My head started to ring as I made my way downstairs slowly. "How long is this gonna take? He has been screaming for hours." I heard Dean's worried tone and I was worried.

"Let me check my demon detox manual... oh wait no one wrote one." Bobby came back with attitude.

"There is no need to be condescending." Dean huffed by the time I got the bottom of the stairs I was holding onto the rail so I wouldn't fall.

"All I'm saying is you asking me every five minutes is not going to get a different answer out of me!" Bobby raised his voice.

"Oh relax." Dean huffed.

"Don't you think this is a pretty bad time for having this domestic?!" Bobby shook his head.

"Why is everyone yelling?" My voice was very quiet and raspy. Bobby and Dean both looked my way.

"Clara?" They both ran to my side. "What are you doing up?" Bobby asked.

"Well people were yelling. I'm fine." I said pushing them away from me. "I can walk just fine thank you." I said standing up straight feeling the pull of my skin. "What's going on?" I asked leaning on Bobby's desk as they both waited or me to fall over. That muffled yells of Sam made me jump. "Is that Sam?" I stood quickly.

"Ok you need to sit." Bobby put his hands on my shoulders and pushed me back to lean on the desk.

"No." I shook my head and pushed his arms away. "Is that Sam?" I asked. They both sighed with a nod. "You locked him in the panic room didn't you?" I looked to Dean knowing this was his idea.

"Please! Help!" Sam started to scream.

"This is ridiculous." I said standing and walking quickly to the stairs.

"Clara stop." Dean ordered and I stopped just at the top of the stairs. I looked back and he looked serious.

"Please! Dean! Anyone! Help!" Sam screamed again. Then a few grunts of pain and he kept yelling.

"Dean you can't just ignore that!" I said pointing down the stairs.

"He is detoxing..." Bobby spoke up. "He needs to dry out."

"Dry out? Bobby you leave him down there any longer he is gonna hurt himself. Listen... he is in pain." I said with a sigh.

"No he is just hallucinating." Dean sighed turning his back. "Do not going down there." He ordered as he shook his head.

"But Dean-"

"No! There are no buts here! He is my brother and this demon blood is gonna turn him into a monster!" Dean snapped. "He will stay down there until he is completely sober! Do not go down there." Dean shook his head at me.

I sighed as I stared back at Dean. "Fine." I shook my head at his stubbornness. I walked past both Dean and Bobby. "Your only chance at stopping Lilith and you lock him up like he's a criminal." I said under my breath. I walked over and sat in Bobby's desk chair. "What do we do in the mean time?" I looked up to both men who said nothing.

Dean said nothing as he grabbed his jacket and walked outside. Bobby sighed as he handed me some bibles to read through. He thought the answer would be in there. For the next few hours all I could hear was Sam's cries of pain and Dean's plea for help from the angels. All I knew was the next time I saw Cas I was gonna punch him.

"There." The door slammed as Dean walked in. "Problem solved." He shook his head and threw his jacket to the side.

"What do you mean problem solved?" I asked looking up from the pile of books in front of me.

"Once Sam dries out he doesn't have to do anything. Cas said I was the who needs to stop it so there. I'll stop it." Dean huffed as he leaned on the door frame. "Signed myself over... and when they need me... All will be solved." Dean said with a sigh as Sam's screams started to go again.

Bobby looked over at me and my mouth was open in shock. I just stared at Dean, how did he think the problem was solved? "Now correct me if I'm wrong... but you willingly signed up to be the angels bitch?" Bobby asked and I couldn't help but laughed a bit. Dean looked over at me then Bobby, he wasn't impressed with Bobby's wording.

"Maybe sucker would be a better word Bobby." I added shaking my head. Dean rolled his eyes at me.

"After everything you said about them... now you trust them?" Bobby asked.

"Especially after Castiel's stunt the other day? You can't be serious?" I asked and Dean sighed.

"Give me a little credit would you? I've never trusted them less. I mean they come on like shady politicians from planet Vulcan." Dean tried to defend himself. I laughed at his Star trek reference, he didn't.

"Then why did you do it?"

"Because what other option did I have!" Dean yelled before Bobby stopped his sentence. "It's either trust the angels or let Sammy trust a demon?"

"I see your point but Dean-"

"No Bobby! You can't seriously tell me you would rather trust demons! They lie with every breath."

"Guys." I tried to stop the yelling match when I noticed all I could hear was Dean yelling.

"You just said you couldn't trust any of them!" Bobby fired back.

"Hey!" I yelled but no one listen to me.

"I don't-"

"Shut up!" I yelled jumping to my feet and they looked my way.

"What!" They both yelled at me.

"Shut up for one second." I put my hand up and looked toward the basement door. I stepped around the desk. "You hear that?" I asked and they were quiet.

"That's a little to much nothing." Bobby said and I was first to take off toward the stairs. Bobby and Dean were not far behind. Granted it hurt when I ran but Sam had been way to quiet for to long. Dean pushed me to the side lightly as he and Bobby looked through the slot in the door. We all watched for a second as Sam convulsed on the floor.

"What if he's fakin'?" Dean looked to Bobby.

"You think he would?"

"I think he would try anything." Dean said.

"Oh my God seriously. He is gonna choke on his own tongue." I shook my head and pushed them both out-of-the-way and opened the door.

"Clara..." Dean reached out to stop me but then Sam went flying across the room.

"Just get him down." I ordered and they fought to get Sam on the ground. "Bobby your belt." I said and he handed it to me. I knelt just behind where Sam's head lay. I forced the belt into his mouth. "Cross his arms and lay him on his side." I ordered and they did their best.

"We are gonna have to tie him down for his own safety." Bobby said. He looked to Dean for answers. I watched as Dean slowly let go of Sam as he continued to fight their hold. I was trying to hold Sam's head down so he wouldn't hurt himself but Dean said nothing. "Dean you with me?" Bobby asked. No answer. "Dean! Before he has another fit." Bobby yelled.

Dean shook a bit. "Yeah let's just get it over with." Dean sighed.

"Get him." I ordered once Sam had passed out. Bobby and Dean lifted Sam up and placed him gently on the bed. "Now... get out." I said walking over to the locker and grabbing some cloth and hang cuffs.

"What?" Dean asked.

"I said get out. Go get some air, what ever you don't need to be here." I said to both of them.

"Clara we can't leave you down here with him." Bobby said.

"Yeah you are. I'll only be a minute. I'll tie him down and just make sure he doesn't go flying again." I said.

"No." Dean and Bobby shook their heads.

"Sorry it really wasn't a question." I flashed a smirk. "Now go before I make you." I said raising my voice a bit. Dean and Bobby looked at each other and sighed. They did as I asked even if they didn't like it. I heard them go upstairs and they left the door open. "Oh Sammy..." I said looking down at him. He looked so sick and tired. "What have you gotten yourself into." I sighed pushing his hair out of his face. I wrapped the cloth around his wrists and ankles and cuffed him to the bed. I noticed his breathing began to pick up so I sat next him on the bed. He started to twitch and I just put my had over his.

"NO!" He yelled his eyes shooting open.

"Sam." I said holding his shoulders down a bit. "Relax." I said. His eyes darted to me and he looked so freaked out. "It's just me." I said calmly.

"Clara?" He asked taking a breath.

"Yeah just me... I promise." I smile down at him. "Look you just need to rest. It will all be better soon." I smiled at him and he sighed.

"You're not real." He shook his head. "You're not here." He closed his eyes.

"I bet I can prove it's really me." I smiled. "Ask me something." I said quietly and he looked straight up, like he was thinking. "Well go on. Something only the real Clara would know." I smiled down at him.

"Best friend in college?" he asked.

"That's easy.. It was Jessica." I smiled down at him.

"My best friend in college?" he asked.

"Well see that could be two answers. You always told Jess she was your best friend but we both know you and Brady were best friends. Hell he was the one to introduce you two." I smiled down at him.

"The weekend we made Jess watch all those scary movies, which one did she get up and leave the room in the middle?" Sam asked finally looking at me.

"That would be the exorcist. The little girls head started spinning and Jess got up before she threw up." I laughed a bit and Sam smiled. "It took us like an hour to stop laughing and another hour to convince her to come watch Nightmare on Elm street." I sighed. "She was so mad at the end of that one." I laughed.

Sam was quiet as he looked up at me. His eyes were so big and terrified. "I miss her Clara." Sam said tilting his head a bit his eyes started to glaze over. I sighed and looked at him.

"Yeah Sam I do too... But I know she would be so proud of you." I smiled holding his hand tightly. Sam scoffed. "She would. I bet she is looking down and smiling. She knows about everyone you've saved and she would love you even more for it." I sighed. "Sure you're in a tight spot but I have faith you'll pull through soon." I sighed and he looked up at me. "You just gotta trust us on this one... Dean is just doing what he thinks is best." I smiled.

"Yeah..." Sam didn't seem to believe me.

"Alright then think of Jess. Don't you think she would want you to do the right thing here? She wouldn't want you hurt, so you think about what she would want for you." I said slowly standing up. Sharp pains shot through my sides because Sam wouldn't let go of my hand. I smiled back at him. "It's gonna be okay." I smiled.

"Clara." He yanked on my arm lightly. I looked back before I moved. "Could you stay for a bit?" He asked quietly.

I looked at the door and I could hear Dean and Bobby talking but when I looked back to Sam I couldn't leave him there. His puppy dog eyes had gotten even more sad. "Sure." I smiled sitting on the bed next to him. He held onto my hand tightly as he closed his eyes slowly.

I sat with Sam for about an hour. He would flinch ever so often and Clara made sure he knew she was still real. But soon his thrashing got very violent and she couldn't sit next to him anymore. His eyes shot open and he started to scream again. His grip on her hand got very tightly. Clara jumped and pulled away before he could break her hand. She ran for the door and closed it behind her as she breathed out. She placed her forehead on the cool iron and sighed.

"You okay?" Dean's voice made her jump. She turned around quickly and nodded. "Are you lying." Dean said as I tried to walk around him. I looked up and nodded again. No point to keep lying if he knows it. "What is it then?" He sighed rubbing his face.

"It doesn't matter." I shrugged as I tried to walk around him again. I just wanted to get away from Sam's screams.

"No tell me." Dean asked stepping in my way.

"Please move." I didn't look at him.

"Not until you tell me. What I'm doing here is saving him. He doesn't know what he is doing." Dean said and I shook my head. I quickly walked around him and ran up the stairs. Dean right right behind me. "Couldn't at least be on my side for this.. just once." Dean begged and I couldn't look at him. "Clara stop."

"I can't." I said heading into the living room where Bobby sat at the desk.

"Why?" Dean shouted at me.

"Because you're killing him!" I finally broke. I spun around quickly and looked at Dean. I'm sure that hurt but this was hurting all of us. "Keeping Sam locked away down there is going to kill him! Why can't you see that?" I asked shaking my head. I could feel my eye burning and my chest pounding.

"He just needs some time." Dean spoke calmly.

"You think if you keep telling yourself that it is gonna make some kind of a difference?" I asked my voice still very loud.

"Well what else am I supposed to do Clara!" He yelled. "I can't let him go back out there. I can't let him go back to Ruby, I can't let him turn into a monster." Dean shook his head.

"I know... but what makes you think he will?" I asked shaking my head and Dean was quiet. That's when I realized something, Dean had already made up his mind. "Oh my god." A tear rolled down my face quickly. "You don't trust him do you?" I asked and Dean was quiet. "You already think he can't be saved. You think he is already a monster." I took a step back from Dean and sighed more tears filling my eyes.

"That's not.." Dean couldn't even finish his sentence without being cut off my Sam's cries.

Dean looked over at me and I sighed. "You better hope Sam never ever finds out about how you really feel. I mean it Dean." I shook my head.

"Why?" he asked.

I looked at Dean letting a few more tears fall. "Sam has been through a lot... hell we all have through enough death and anger to rid the world of it but if there is one thing I know about Sam is that he has always looked up to you. Ever since you were freaking kids. He did as he was told, he listen to his big brother because that's what he was supposed to do. Sam always does what he is supposed to do. Even now, he thinks he is supposed to stop all of this and one way or another he will." I shrugged.

"That's my job now." Dean said shaking his head at me.

"Not to him. He is dead set on it. One way or another he'll get out of here and do what he thinks he is supposed to do... just like always." I nodded more tears falling. "But if there is one thing that would have the slightest chance in stopping him is you..." I sighed. "But if he ever heard what you aren't denying... It would break his heart."

I had nothing left to say after that. I shook my head at Dean and at Bobby. I turned my back and headed to the stairs. My whole body hurt and now my heart was getting involved. I walked up the stairs painfully, I was tired and couldn't argue or listen to Sam cry out for help anymore. I closed my door and gently fell against my bed. I pulled a pillow over my head and shut my eyes tightly. I was still for about two hours. I didn't sleep but just manged to keep the screams and other voices at bay.

The sun was gone when I sat up but I could still hear Sam grunting. I sighed and made my way down stairs. First I saw Bobby fast asleep on the desk with his head rested on a pile of books. I shook my head at him and the half empty bottle of whiskey next to him. Crazy old man.

I stepped into the living room and didn't even notice Dean sitting on the couch. He was sitting on one sigh with his head back and book on his lap and over his face. I couldn't help but laugh a bit. He was sleeping as well. I walked over quietly and removed the book from his face. He flinched and his eyes opened quickly.

"Relax." I placed a hand over his chest to stop him from jumping. "Just me." I smiled kindly at him.

"What are you doing?" he whispered as I placed the books on the ground.

"Taking the book off your face... sorry." I shrugged.

"Don't be." he smiled at me and I just looked down and over to Bobby. He grunted a bit as he sat up and forward putting his face in his hands. "Is this how it's gonna be?" He whispered making my looked over at him.

"How what's gonna be?" I asked taking a seat next to him.

"Just one thing after another?" He asked.

"When has it not been like that is a better question." I smiled nudging him a bit. "Just the job I guess." I sighed looking over at him. Dean was so tired. I knew he hadn't slept in at least two days. I could tell by his eyes. So heavy and concerned. "If its not spirits its demons, and if it's not demons its the apocalypse." I smiled and he shook his head. "Just like any other job. You do the research, find out how to stop it and you just..." I paused and Dean looked over at me. "Stop it." I shrugged with a small smile.

"Yeah... but if I can't?" he asked.

"No one said you had to do it alone." I placed a hand on his.

"Cas did."

"Well last I check we couldn't exactly trust him... so how about for now we all do what we can." I added and Dean sighed.

"Yeah I guess your right." he sighed as he sat back again.

"You guess?" I laughed quietly. "When am I ever wrong." I shook my head at him. "You need some sleep." I said quietly as she sat back as well.

"No I need-"

"Sleep." I finished his sentence quickly. "Just lay back and close your eyes. You'll be surprise how fast they close." I sighed and Dean nodded. I got up to back up stairs when I felt a hand grab mine. I didn't have time to react before Dean pulled me down and forced me to lay on the inside of the couch next to him. "Okay." I said as he pulled me down and he smiled down at me when I placed my head on his chest. I was first to close my eyes. I felt him place a soft kiss on the top of my head and then he sighed.

The light came quick and hit my eyes. I sat up even though Dean had a tight hold around my shoulders. I tried not to wake him and once I managed to climb over him I noticed Bobby was gone. "Bobby?" I whispered out hoping he would answer me. "Where are you?" I said and when it was quiet I started to worry. I thought maybe he just went outside for some air so I walked out the back door trying to be quiet. Dean really needed all the sleep he could get, so did Bobby. "Bobby!?" I called out louder.

"ugh." a faint groan came from a section of cars and I tried to follow the sound. When I finally found Bobby he was laying on the ground with a shot-gun at his feet.

"Jesus Bobby!" I rushed to him. I shook him a bit and he groaned louder. "Come on get up." I said as his eyes slowly opened.

"Sam..." His voice cracked as I pulled him up slowly. "Gone." I sighed when I figure out what had happened.

"Alright get up." I said helping Bobby to him feet. He was still pretty out of it as I dragged him back to the house. When I finally got him there Dean was still asleep in the couch. "Dean!" I called out and he sat right up eyes open and two fists ready. "At ease." I rolled my eyes and he looked over.

"What the hell?" he rushed to help me carry Bobby.

"Sam..." Bobby started and Dean sighed.

"Where is he?" He asked Bobby as we sat him down. Bobby rubbed his head and I got him some water. "Bobby where did he go?"

"You think he told me before he bashed me in the head with my gun!" Bobby snapped at Dean.

"Well where could he hav-" Dean stopped mid sentence. "How did he even get out?" Dean asked as he rushed to the basement. Bobby and I looked at each other and rushed after Dean. They opened the door and took a few steps in to find the handcuff open and a room full of busted devils traps. Then they both looked at me.

"What?" I asked.

"You cuffed him to the bed right?" Dean asked.

"Yes." I said pulling the key from my pocket.

"You closed the door tight?" Bobby asked.

"Seriously? You think I let Sam out?" I asked with a sigh. I shook mt head at them and looked at the ground. The devils trap just before the door was broken. "Someone broke him free." I said pointing to the ground.

"Ruby?" Bobby asked.

"How did she even touch the door?" I asked.

"You think she's got the mojo?" Bobby asked.

"I didn't think so." Dean shrugged.

"Well how he got gone isn't as important as where he got gone to." Bobby said.

"Wow." I smiled at Bobby's amazing grammar.

"Well at this point I hope he's with Ruby."

"Why?" Bobby asked.

"I thought that was a bad thing?" I asked as Dean started for the stairs.

"Cause killing her is the next big item on my to do list." Dean nodded.

"I thought you were on call for angel duty?" Bobby asked as he rolled his eyes at Dean.

"I am on call, in my car on my way to murder the bitch." Dean smirked and I couldn't help but smile too.

"one thing..." Bobby sighed. "Sam don't wanna be found. Which means he will be damn near impossible to find."

"ha!" I laughed loudly and walked past Bobby and walked up to Dean. "No one is impossible to find boys." I smiled walking up the stairs.

"I'm guess you have a plan?" Dean asked as they both followed me up the stairs.

"Why yes I do. Bobby I need the licence plate of the car Sam took." I smiled grabbing my phone.

"Why?" Bobby asked.

"Well you wanna find him don't you?" I asked looking over to Dean who rolled his eyes with a nod. "Well then..." I looked to Bobby who sighed and wrote done the plate number. "Thank you." I smiled as I pressed a button on my phone.

"Speak and be heard mortal!" Penelope's voice filled the room once I placed her on voicemail.

I smiled once I heard her voice. "I hear you are the best technical analysis in the whole state of Virginia." I started off.

Penelope gasped. "How dare you!" She giggled. "I'll have you know I am the greatest in the whole universe."

"Ah well good because I need you." I smiled as Dean and Bobby looked at me.

"Anything for my favourite crime fighter." She giggled.

"I'm gonna give you a licence plate and you are gonna find the car for me. Then you are gonna find any other stole vehicles stole in the South Dakota are within the last few hours. Please and thank you." I smiled.

"What kind of scum are we looking for today?" Penelope asked and I sighed.

"My brother." Dean spoke up and Penelope got quiet.

"Sorry... my bad."

"All good just do your magic please." I asked.

For the next half hour I stayed on the phone with Penelope as she told me everything she could find and I filled her in. Dean watched from the couch and I could tell by how he was looking at me he hated that Penelope knew everything. Granted I did take her off speaker but I had a feeling he knew what we were talking about. Once Garcia told me and Bobby all we needed to know Dean looked up and sighed.

"Anything else I can help with?" She asked me and I looked at Bobby and he shook his head.

"No but um..." I paused and looked down. "Everyone okay over there?" I asked with a sighed as I held the phone close to my ear so I could hear.

"We are fine." Penelope said and I knew she was smiling. "We miss you though." She sighed.

"He's mad isn't he?" I asked and Dean looked over at me with suspicion.

"Yeah kinda..." She sighed.

I put my face in my hand and sighed. "Great another problem to solve I guess... would you at least tell them I'm sorry?"

"I have. JJ asks about you all the time but sometimes I have no idea what to say... so I lie. Clara I hate lying."

"Believe me I've had enough of it too." I sighed.

"Are you going to tell them any time soon? You know they might like to know about the apending apocalypse."

"You understand that I can't. They won't understand."

"They might." She sighed and I shook my head.

"Well thanks for your help. I owe you." I smiled and then hung up. The room was quiet once I hung up. "So James town?" I asked putting a small smile on my face.

"You two stay here." Dean said standing up and heading for the door.

"But-" I started but Bobby and Dean both shot me a look and I stopped. "Alright." I shrugged.

"I'll be back." Dean said as the door closed behind him. I looked to Bobby and he sighed and sat down at his desk.

"This is not going to be pretty." Bobby shook his head and started drinking.

With that I raced outside before Dean could take off. He was just about to open his door when I called out to him. "Don't say what you are thinking." I said and he stopped and looked back. "We need Sam on our side. Don't let him find out that you doubt him." I said walking up to him. "It's gotta be his choice though." I sighed and Dean shook his head.

"He is coming whether he likes it or not." Dean said angrily.

"You really think that's how it'll be?" I laughed and Dean just turned his back. "Fine. Just..." he shut the door as he started the engine. "Be careful?" I said and without looking up at me Dean drove off. "This is going to be bad." I said to myself as I watched Dean drive off.
