Ellie was looking at several bridal magazines in her office. Her assistant another Sue had entered and looked perplexed.
"Yes Sue? Can I help you?" Ellie said putting one of the bridal magazines down.
"Ah Dr. Woodcomb these are the budgets for the Neuro division. The board has noticed your ground breaking work on reviving coma patients. They want a full trial." Sue pointed out on page 11 of the 50 page budget.
"They authorized What 10 million? Where did the hospital get 10 million dollars for this research?" Ellie said out loud.
She secretly knew that it must have been from some anonymous donor. Just then the view screen in her office showed a commercial. It was a cheesy back story commercial showing pictures of her Dad, Ted Roark and Hartley hard at work. The voice over said.
"It was the vision of three men."
Then the picture flashed all the innovations of RI then the logo morphed into Orion constellation.
"The newest Electronic firm has a long and storied past. RI is now Orion Computer and Electronics. The First innovation is a completely functional personal assistant using patented Orion tech."
The picture shows a woman talking directly into thin air and the computer responded like LARA or HARRY.
"See the new Orion Computer only at the nearest Buy More."
The logo of Buy More now appeared and underneath is a Logo of Orion and in fine print Another Division of Orion Tech Enterprises.
Sue watched her boss gaze at the commercial. It must have had some special significance since Ellie had not taken her eyes off the screen.
"Er Boss?" Sue asked.
Ellie looked away from the commercial. It was something Sue had been noticing all around town. There was a full on blitz using all form of media in the LA area. She rarely looked at the ads anymore. She was determined to get one of those new Orion computers as soon as she got her next pay check.
There was a knock at the door it was a delivery person and a Tech dressed in an Orion Computer logo. It was Chuck and Bryce. They both grinned at her.
"There is a delivery and set up scheduled for a Dr. E Woodcomb?" The delivery man said.
It was obvious to Ellie that it was Bryce being the delivery person.
"Sue would you sign for that?" Ellie said "and close the door after you leave."
Bryce smiled at the assistant. She gazed at him then signed. Bryce tipped his cap then wheeled in three boxes all labeled with the Orion logo.
Chuck started clearing space in her office for her new equipment. He unplugged her old computer and placed it by the door.
"Hey I was working on that. Chuck I swear you are darn lucky I love you and I do not want to kill you before the perfect wedding I am planning." Ellie said.
"El I love you too but LARA has it backed up and when I'm finished she will place your project notes back on the screen." Chuck said.
"So is this?" Ellie asked being a bit giddy that she was getting one of the first Orion Computers.
"Yepper…The old RI factory in City of Industries has been revamped and was cranking them out." Bryce said.
"Yes El numero uno. Dad and Hartley wanted you to have it. Not only because of you being so integral to the success of Team B. Also it is part of the computing power you will need to further your research on comatose patients and awaking them. It is part of your grant." Chuck said as he busily connected the box that sat on the ground to the electric grid.
That was it. None of the other items now on her desk had any cords. She could not even figure out how they were powered. Though, being cordless sure cut down on the clutter.
Chuck turned it on.
"Ellie say hello to CHARLES." Chuck said with a smirk on his face.
Bryce could not help but laugh at the joke that Ellie liked to yell at Chuck now she had a digital one.
"Hello CHARLES" Ellie said to the thin air.
"Hello Dr. Woodcomb, How may I assist you?" CHARLES responded with a very life like Chuck voice.
"Er…Can I call you Chuck?" Ellie asked the voice.
"Certainly Dr. Woodcomb, How would I address you?" CHARLES asked.
"I guess Ellie" Ellie said "…turnabout is fair play."
"OK Ellie and how can I assist you?" CHARLES asked.
"I was working on a budget proposal when my Brother and his friend disconnected me. I need it displayed please." Ellie said.
Would you like it in Hologram or Flat screen format? CHARLES replied.
"Well I guess Flat screen for now." Ellie said.
"Very good Ellie you should see it in front of you now." CHARLES said.
The screen lit up and displayed was the very spot she had been working.
"Thanks Chuck." Ellie said.
The digital one said nothing. However, the real one hugged his sister.
"There is the holographic mode to help you pin point the place to activate the probes." The Real Chuck said.
"Dad has really thought of everything." Ellie said.
"Not quite that is CI's tech" Chuck said. "It is only on your computer."
"Gee I feel so special. So Chuck, Bryce… How does it feel getting out of the spy business?" Ellie asked.
"Well to be honest I've been so wrapped up in the Orion launch to not even think of missing it." Bryce said. "Also the wedding to the Boss' Daughter has been taking up most of my free time. I hear you are going to see her today?"
"What Oh yes Vivian…What time is it?" Ellie asked.
"Ellie I've was program to remind you. You have 30 minutes to arrive at your reservation." CHARLES reminded her.
"Thank You Chuck." Ellie said.
"Oh Have I said it? I guess not. With this app on your smart phone you can talk to the digital Chuck anywhere you are. He is just like LARA." The real Chuck said.
Ellie had already been fast friends with LARA Chuck's AI in Castle. So adjusting to the digital Chuck was fairly easy transition.
Ellie got up then exited the room. Sue looked up.
"Sue I'm going to my Luncheon date now. Please talk to Chuck if you need anything. He will relay the request to me." Ellie said being flanked by Bryce and real Chuck.
Sue just nodded. She inwardly sighed. She had to get a digital Chuck of her own.

Vivian was surprised to see Ellie being flanked by her Fiancée and Chuck his best man.
"Hello Vivian look what followed me here." Ellie said with a smirk as she hugged the younger woman.
"Hi Beautiful." Bryce said giving her a long slow passionate kiss which was interrupted by Chuck clearing his throat.
"Oh Hi Chuck" Vivian said hugging her savior.
"Bryce I thought you were so busy you were not going to make our date." Vivian scolded as they all sat down.
"Well Not quite… Orion has been keeping me quite busy with the launch which is true but Your Dad sprung me from that." Bryce said.
"What is your excuse?" Vivian asked as Sarah came into view.
Chuck stood up and greeted her with a kiss almost as passionate as the one which passed between Vivian and Bryce.
"Glad you made it. We have not ordered yet." Chuck said.
"Well the meeting with Verbanski Corp went well. She is able to back our cyber with actual security muscle." Sarah said.
"That is good Sarah but no more talk about work. Ellie has news about our weddings." Chuck said.
"Yes I do" Ellie said. "Since you both are maid of honor and Best Man for each and the Seaside overlook at Vivian's place was chosen. The only thing left is cake tasting and choosing of compatible flowers. This is where this place comes in." Ellie said as she motioned to the waiter to bring the different selections.
Everyone tasted different cake selections. Sarah's favorite was a Red Velvet cake with Vanilla butter cream frosting. Chuck liked the zing of lemon cake with the sour cream frosting. Bryce and Vivian agreed with Sarah's choice. Chuck seeing he was out voted agreed to the Red Velvet cake. He had not problem with it if it pleased Sarah.
Once that selection was made a real dinner course was brought out. Chuck was extra hungry. Once, the lunch was demolished. Next were the flowers arrangements brought out. This time is was Bryce who was the odd man out. He agreed with the rest that Hawaiian Red Flowers were the idea for a Beach side wedding.
Having gotten the ok the couples departed. Chuck and Sarah back to Castle. Bryce and Vivian went to go visit Hartley. Only Ellie went back to work.
Getting to the Buy More parking lot Sarah was amused there was not a parking space in sight, She was glad that Castle had its own under ground parking.
"So why are all these car here?" Sarah asked.
"I guess to see Jeffster? I noticed that many cars have I love Germany stickers." Chuck surmised.
At this point you could see the dynamic duo performing on the make shift stage in front of the Buy More.
"I kind of doubt that Chuck. I thought most were waiting on the new Orion tech to arrive?" Sarah said as the car dove beneath the parking lot.
They stopped in her personal space. Chuck just grinned at his almost wife. Only two days remained. Then he could go on their honeymoon in Europe and Asia. Chuck could hardly wait.

Upstairs in the Buy More Big Mike was overseeing the installation of 1500 Orion tech boxes. It was a feather in his cap that Corporate had selected his store for the debut. Thousands of Eager fans were lined up. The lilting tones of Jeffster were heard throughout the store. Skip had been promoted to head of the nerd herd and was helping oversee the launch. Big Mike was surprised to learn the head honcho himself was coming to the launch. It was the biggest thing ever seen and it was being streamed live from the store worldwide.
The convoy stopped at the rear of the store and Vivian, Bryce, Hartley and Orion himself got out. Vivian was impressed she had never stepped foot in a Buy More before. Hartley and Orion checked in with Verbanski's security members. Gertrude Verbanski was personally there to keep them safe. They were not anticipating any problems but as an added caution. The routes into Castle were opened if they needed a quick get away.
Orion stepped up then said a few words on how gratifying it was that people wanted what Orion could deliver. Then Hartley stood on the podium. He took less time than Orion. Then Vivian took over and released the gate allowing only one customer to enter at a time. The launch took off without a hitch. There were reporters from various magazines and blogs. Each wanted to see the Orion revolutionary tech in action.
Soon the launch was over. The consensus was it was a roaring success. At this point Buy Mores across the country and world had gotten their shipments and similar results had appeared.
