Dear readers and reviewers,

I have received quite a few posts and messages recently urging me to continue this story, and indeed I have left you all hanging in there for quite a while now which I deeply regret.

Let me say one thing straight-out: I have NOT abandoned this story! Severus and Elena have become very dear to me, I have a lot in mind for them and my plan is to resume work on ‚A Game of Gobstones' sooner preferably than later.

However, I have some personal issues in my life right now. The most problematic of those – although it may seem ridiculous to some of you – being that my sleek black cat Lucek (who also serves as a model for Elena's Lux both in looks and in character) has recently been diagnosed with diabetes. I can tell you, it's been a rough ride and at one point, he almost died! Now you can call me a crazy cat lady and you'd be absolutely right because that's exactly what I am. My cats are my babies and so in the last few weeks and months, I was very much consumed by this situation and hence not in the right mind set to continue work on a romantic love story. By now, I've become an expert on feline diabetes and am glad to say that Lucek is much better now and I'm slowly starting to feel at ease again. However, things tend to coincide in life and there have been a lot of things happening recently, related to my familial, personal and work activities, again forcing me to set ‚A Game of Gobstones' aside for a while.

I wanted to explain all this as there appear to be a lot of people out there who enjoy this story and want it to go on which is such a motivation and encouragement for me as someone whose native language is not English and who is still very much in love with the splendid character of Severus Snape. I AM going to resume this story, you just need to be patient with me.

Thank you very much for your understanding and continued encouragement!
