Ben's P.O.V
I woke up in a different room then I had when I was in the Ra yellow dorm and after a moment I remembered why that was. I saw Alexis was in my arms and I got up and let her sleep setting the alarm for 8 since I was heading to the classroom to finalize my lesson plan for today. After about an hour and a half Alexis came in and sat down in the section that was meant for the slifer reds.
"So what exactly are you thinking of doing for this class since it is your first class" and I replied "all I am saying is it will help people improve their dueling skills." After about 10 minutes later the rest of the class came in and sat down and very surprisingly none of them even the obelisk's didn't give me grief about taking Crowler's job.
I started "Good morning class this class is going to be much different for the next month or so because with the lesson plan I have it will take a while. The reason this lesson will take a month or so is because for the next month there will be a tournament in this class. I have been able to figure that there are 64 of you in this class including me so that is the perfect number for this tournament.
So this month we will be meeting in the arena instead of coming to this room so if you will all make your way to the arena I will meet you there." They all filed out of the room toward the arena and I took the shortcut I learned through the door at the bottom of the classroom. As I got there I saw that everyone was already there and said "okay for the first match today it will be Alexis Rhodes VS. Syrus Truesdale" and they moved toward the arena.
As they readied their duel disks I got up on the arena and said "okay before the tournament actually starts first place will receive their pick of 3 ultra-rare cards from my personal collection second gets 3 semi-rare cards and third gets 3 common cards." They drew their opening hands and Syrus said "you can go first" and she drew her 6th card.
Alexis's P.O.V
I drew my 6th card and my hand contained cyber tutu, etoile cyber, blade skater, fusion sage, doble passe, negate attack. "First I activate the magic card fusion sage with lets me bring a polymerization from my deck to my hand. Now I activate polymerization to fuse together etoile cyber and blade skater to form cyber blader. Now I set this card face down and end my turn."
Syrus drew and said "Okay first I activate the magic card snatch steal to take control of your cyber blader and now I activate polymerization to fuse together UFOroid and your cyber blader to form UFOroid fighter. Thanks to UFOroid fighter's effect his attack points are equal to the combined points of the monster used to summon it bring it up to 3300. Now UFOroid fighter attack Alexis directly with UFO blast" and I said "not so fast I activate the trap card negate attack which stops your attack and ends your battle phase."
Syrus said "Well I guess I will set this card facedown and end my turn" and I drew pot of greed "to start my turn I activate the magic card pot of greed to draw two more cards." I drew change of heart and fusion weapon "now I activate the magic card change of heart of take control of UFOroid fighter and now I activate the magic card fusion weapon.
With fusion weapon the fusion monster it is equipped to gains 1500 attack points so now UFOroid fighter attack Syrus directly and finish this duel." UFOroid fighter attacked and Syrus's life points dropped to zero and the holograms disappeared. "That was a good duel" I said and Syrus said "yeah but I was hoping it could have lasted longer."
Ben's P.O.V
I said "good job on the win there Alexis and sorry Syrus but better luck next time and now for the next match" I looked at the piece of paper that I had wrote down the match ups and I was surprised since I had randomly picked them from a machine. "I guess the next match is myself and Chazz" and I jumped over the barrier dividing the viewers from the duelists.
I walked up onto the stage and activated my duel disk and so did Chazz and I said "you can go first" and he drew his opening hand. "First I summon armed dragon LV3 in attack mode and set this card face down and end my turn." I drew my 6th card my hand contained alien hero Brainstorm, alien hero Diamondhead, alien weapon, alien recall, alien recharge, and alien destruction.
"First I summon alien hero Brainstorm in attack mode and activate his effect since he was normal summoned I can destroy one set spell or trap on your side of the field and I choose your facedown card. Now alien hero Brainstorm attack his armed dragon LV3" Brainstorm shot a beam of lightning at armed dragon LV3 and took Chazz's life points down to 3400.
"Now I set this card face down and end my turn" and Chazz drew and said "now I activate the magic card monster reborn to bring back armed dragon LV3 and now I activate the magic card level up. This powerful magic card lets me send LV3 to the graveyard to summon armed dragon LV5 from my deck. Now armed dragon show that crab who is boss and destroy it" and I said "Before your attack I activate the trap card alien recharge.
Now since I have one alien hero monster on the field I gain 1000 life points" and armed dragon destroyed it and dropped my life points to 4400. "Now I lay this face down and since it is my end phase I can now send my LV5 to the graveyard to special summon LV7 from my hand or deck." I drew pot of greed "now I activate the magic card pot of greed to draw two more cards" I drew magic cylinder and magic jammer.
"Now I set this card face down and summon alien hero Diamondhead in defense mode and end my turn" and Chazz drew and said "I summon Horus the black flame dragon LV4 in attack mode and now armed dragon destroyed that rock head" and the attack was shot at Diamondhead and was redirected at Horus and Horus was destroyed.
"What the heck why was Horus destroyed" and I replied "Because of Diamondhead's effect once per turn it can redirect an attack toward one of your monsters." Chazz looked sour at this and said "fine I set this card face down and end my turn." I drew Alien hero Rath "okay I summon alien hero Rath in attack mode now I activate his effect if primus is on the field along with Rath then Rath gains 1000 attack points for a grand total of 3000 so Rath attack armed dragon."
Armed dragon was sliced across the chest and Chazz's life points dropped to 3100. "now I set this card face down and end my turn." Chazz drew and smirked "well it's time for you to experience the true terror of my deck I set this card face down and one monster in facedown defense position and end my turn."
I drew rain of mercy "I activate the magic card rain of mercy with this we both gain 1000 life points" mine rose to 5400 and Chazz's rose to 4100. "Now Alien hero Rath attack his facedown monster" and Rath leapt forward and sliced down on the facedown which was revealed to be advanced magician of faith.
"Thanks for that because now with the flip effect of advanced magician of faith I can now bring back two magic cards from my graveyard" gloated Chazz. I then said "fine I end my turn with that" and Chazz drew and his smirk grew even larger. "Now I activate the magic card monster reborn which I should thank you again for letting me bring this old friend back armed dragon level 7.
Now I activate the second magic card I brought back last turn level up to evolve armed dragon LV7 up to LV10 from my hand or deck. Now I activate my spell dragon claws with this card my armed dragon gains 300 attack and defense so now is he at 3300. Armed dragon LV10 attack his alien hero Rath with your power" and Rath was destroyed and my life points dropped to 4100. "now I will set this card face down and end my turn" and I drew pot of duality.
"I activate the magic card pot of duality which lets me reveal the top three cards from my deck and pick one to add to my hand while the others are shuffled back into my deck. I choose pot of greed" I then shuffled "now I activate the pot of greed to draw two more cards" I drew alien hero Alien x and alien destruction. "First I summon alien hero alien hero alien x and now I activate the magic card alien weapon which increases his attack points by 1000. Now I activate the magic card alien destruction with this card I can choose one monster on the field with alien hero in its name and send it to the grave and deal that much damage to you and I choose alien hero Diamondhead.
"Now alien hero alien x attack his armed dragon LV10 judgement of the universe" armed dragon was destroyed and Chazz's life points dropped to 3400. "now here comes the best part I can send alien weapon to the graveyard and then alien x can make a second attack." Alien x attacked Chazz directly and dropped his life points down to 400.
"I think I will pass it over to you" and he drew and said "I summon vorse raider in defense mode and I end my turn." I drew double attack "Okay I will attack your vorse raider and now I activate the magic card double attack since my first attack went through I can attack again this turn so alien hero alien x attack him directly and finish this" alien x dropped his life points down to zero and the holograms disappeared.
Sorry about have the first duel being so short but I was wanting to have the ultimate face-off with Ben facing Chazz and the ultimate face-off would have to be a long duel. In the next chapter I will be skipping to the semi-finals for the tournament because I don't know the decks of everyone in that class mainly because the majority of people shown in the classroom are just there so it looks like a regular classroom.
