Thank you for reading. I think I have five more chapters left in this epilogue series. I hope you are still enjoying where this is taking you. I hope you will let me know what you think as this comes to an end. I hate to see it end. So, here is chapter 35! Enjoy!

Finn and Rachel couldn't believe it had been a year already. Liam was a year old. Finn had just celebrated his first year at the Lima Police Department. Rachel had started her first year of college in August. So much had been going on in their little family, but they were so happy. They weren't sure they could be any happier than they were right at that moment.

Finn was getting Liam ready while Rachel, Kurt and Carole were decorating the living room. He said, "I'm sorry mommy had you wear this cheesy outfit, but you know we would do anything to make mommy happy. You are just going to have to suffer through it until cake. We'll make sure to get some on it so that we have to change you. Is that a plan?" Liam giggled causing Finn to smile.

Rachel cleared her throat from the door. She had her hands on her hips in a very Rachel fashion as she said, "If you didn't like it you should have told me not to buy it. I can't help it that the little fake tie on it was adorable with the big one on it. It's his first birthday, Finn. He had to have a special outfit for the party."

"That's why I got him the awesome police officer onsie."

"And I'm the cheesy one? I'm sure you were planning on doing a father/son photoshoot with it, weren't you?"

"Uhh…"

"I'm not the only cheesy one in this family, Finn Hudson! I would appreciate it if you would not make my son hate me before he can make a decision for himself."

Finn walked over to Rachel with Liam in his arms. "Rach, he doesn't hate you. He will never hate you. You are his mommy. You are his food supply, his comfortable and his source of entertainment. You are everything to him, just like you are to me. I love you so much. You are doing so much for us. I was just kidding, Rach."

"I'm sorry. I'm just stressed with school and making sure that this party is perfect for our little prince. He only turns one once."

"Baby, it is going to be fine. Everyone is going to have a good time. He isn't going to be able to remember it."

"But we will! That's the thing. This is our first big adult thing since we got married and we have been married for three years. I just want this to be good for everyone."

Finn gave Rachel a long kiss. "It is going to be wonderful, baby."

Liam stuck his arms out to Rachel and said, "Mama!"

Rachel and Finn both gasped. They had been working with Liam for a month or so to try to get him to either say mama or dada. Rachel smiled and took the little boy into her arms. "You said mama, Lee Lee."

Finn smiled. "Good job, bub. If I were you, her name would be my first word, too. We love you so much, buddy."

"Are you ready to go see your party guests, Liam? You are going to see so many people that love you today. Nana Marie is looking down on you today with a big smile on her face wishing she could have met you. I know it."

"I bet you are right, Rach. Your mom is always looking down on you and Puck."

"Lets get downstairs to see everyone."

"When we get down there we need to all of Liam's new talents. He can walk holding hands and now he can say the name of the most important woman in the world. As if right on time Liam exclaimed, "Mama!"

Finn and Rachel chuckled as they made their way down the stairs.

It was time for cake. Finn and Rachel were standing on each side of the high chair they had sat up. They were looking down on their son with faces of pure joy. Carole managed to capture the moment. Finn said, "Rach and I wanted to thank all of you for being here today. It means so much that you would come to celebrate little man's birthday with us. There is no way we would be here right now if it weren't for all of you. Liam is one lucky little boy to have so many people that care for him."

Rachel smiled. "I have to agree with Finn. We are so lucky to have all of you in our lives and we wouldn't trade of you for anything. We love you all."

Puck exclaimed, "Get to the cake!"

Rachel rolled her eyes and the room burst into laughter. They sang happy birthday and Liam dug into the cake, literally. He looked up Finn with a big grin on his face much like his. He asked, "Can daddy have some, Lee Lee?"

Liam took some cake and shoved it all over Finn's face. Rachel smiled at the pair. She loved her boys and wouldn't want to be anywhere besides with the two of them. She knew things in life weren't going to be easy for the three of them, but as long as she had the two of them she was ready to face anything that came her way.

Rachel asked, "What about mommy? Does she get some cake?"

Liam did the same to her as he had with Finn. The three of them smiled for the camera as the guests shot pictures of the happy little family.

All the guests had left leaving Finn, Rachel, Puck, Beth and Liam in their house. Puck said, "For being a baby party, it was actually pretty cool. Good job, sis. I guess it helped that is was for my awesome nephew you, too. He is already a year old. That doesn't seem right."

Rachel said, "What are you talking about? Beth started Kindergarten in August."

"Lets stop talking about that right here."

Finn told him, "You are really doing a great job, man. We are so proud of you. Liam is lucky to have such an awesome uncle."

"You guys aren't so bad for Beth either. Thanks for helping me out with her. I really appreciate it. There is no way I would be able to do it without you guys."

Rachel hugged him and told him, "You don't have to worry about that ever. Finn and I will always be here for you. As I expect you to be there for Liam."

"You have that right. The little dude is going to learn so many things from me you aren't ever going to want him to know."

"Oh joy. We will have to teach him when to listen to Uncle Noah so he can stay out of trouble."

Finn laughed, "I think we can handle that."

Raachel said, "I think it's time to get little man to bed. He had a big day. Are you coming, Finny?"

Finn smiled. "Wouldn't miss it. Night man. Night Bethy."

Beth smiled. "Night Uncle Finn. Night Auntie Rach. Night Lee Lee."

Rachel said, "Night sweetie. Night Noah."

After putting Liam to bed, Rachel and Finn were lying awake looking at each other. Finn said, "Thank you."

Rachel didn't know what he was thanking her for. She asked, "For what?"

"For giving me the best three years of my life and the best little boy in the world. You have given me my life. I don't know what I would do without either of you."

"You don't have to ever worry about that. You will always have us."

"Good. I just can't wait for what will come in our future. How many more first birthdays do you think you will have to plan?"

Rachel smiled and said, "I don't know. Two, three, seven. However many more we want."

Finn chuckled. "I'm leaning more towards two or three. I love our little guy, but I don't think I could handle seven more of him. Plus, I think TLC has enough of those people on it to make people hate anyone with more than four kids."

Rachel snorted. "I love you. I think I can handle planning two or three more first birthdays. I just don't think I can plan another any time soon."

"Not until you are out of college."

"I like that idea. Good night, Finn. I love you."

Finn held his petite wife as tight as he could and told her, "I love you, too. Good night, baby."

The two of them fell asleep in each other's arms just like they loved to.
