Flinky: Hello everyone! I'm still alive-
Red: And belive me I am still alive
Leaf: I'm doing science and I'm still alive
Blue: I feel fant-
Flinky: SHUT UP! Anyways, one review from OblivionWings. I did try to make that battle as, I don't know, high-power as possible.

"Three… Two… One… Go!"
Leaf and I poured buckets of ice into Blue's sleeping bag. Not ice water. Not even water with ice. Just ice. He's going to hate me for this.
"HOLY SHIT!"
Blue shot up instantly trying to get out of his bag.
"Not cool guys."
"And locking someone in a cage with dynamite is?"
"It was your birthday… And Michael helped me with that."
"I'm going to be blunt, we all like Michael a lot more than you."
"Gee, it's a bit hard to tell."
Once Blue was packed, we set out. We're heading up north to Pallet Town.
You know, after seeing the other cities, Pallet was actually pretty fucked up. I mean, I have never seen auto-locking doors in any other city.
What excites me though is that there's a reason for that. Team Rocket is (probably) smart enough to not put in so much security unless there was a reason. We just have to find that reason.
"So, what are we going to do if we find Team Rocket's form of us?" Michael asked.
"Huh?" Leaf said.
"You remember: Yellow, Green, Kris, and Red."
I looked at the gloves Omni gave me yesterday.
"Beat the crap out of them," I said, simply.
"Okay Red, you're going to need to slow down. You've cursed twice within a span of 20 seconds. I'm not quite sure if we can keep a T-rating if we keep going like that," Omni said.
Whatever. I sent out Azure and went north.
Well, heading north was a bad idea. 20 minutes into our voyage, we ran into a storm and had to go back to Cinnabar.
"Well, that went well," I said. Everyone was drenched, and we had to give Blue and Michael 10 minutes to fix their hair.
"So, what do we do?" Leaf asked.
Right as Leaf said that, a helicopter started coming down near us.
"Well, that's our answer," I said.
I had my hand on Ignite's Pokéball, but it didn't seem necessary. The heli had no (obvious) weapons or a rocket logo, so I think it's fine.
"Who's there?" I yelled.
The blades stopped spinning and a door opened.
Apparently Bill owns a helicopter.
"Hey Bill!" Michael said, happily. "It's been a while."
"Yea… Well, um two things. First, I got PASS finished."
He took out a box with small metal stickers.
"Just put them anywhere on the Pokémon and it will start working," he explained.
I took one out of the box. It didn't really look like much, but I've seen what Bill can do.
"Well, that works," I said, taking out 13 for all my Pokémon and a couple extras.
"Okay…" Bill said. "Oh, are… are you busy?"
"Why do you ask?"
"I need some help… at the Sevi Islands… Team Rocket is trying to attack…"
"Let me stop you right there. It is our job to deal with that stuff. Where is it?"
"It's too far to swim… You'll have to take the helicopter…"
"Well, okay."
We all climbed in. Honestly, I'm not that fond of these things, mainly because every one I've seen in the past has tried to kill me.
It was too loud to talk, so we just sat there. We came up on a small set of islands with a large group of Rocket vehicles coming up to it.
Once the heli touched down on one of the islands, we climbed out.
"Okay, why are they coming down so hard?" I asked.
"You don't know about the Sevi Islands?" Bill asked, surprised. "There are… two resistance groups here… Team Rocket doesn't control it very well… So now they're trying to take them out."
"Well shit, we better help," I said. "Storm, I'll need a lift!"
"Don't you need to… plan?" Bill asked. Michael, Leaf, Blue, and I looked at eachother for a moment before cracking up.
"I thought… I thought he said… plan…" Leaf said between her laughing fits.
"Well, anyways, let's get to work," I said, putting on my aura gloves. Once I recovered from the initial shock of it, I mounted Storm.
Leaf sent out her Articuno, Michael with his Dodrio, and Blue got on his Fearow.
"Three… Two… One… GO!"
All four of us took off at once. Storm tore right ahead of the others, mainly because we are currently travelling at mach 2ish.
"Try to get behind the naval fleet!" I yelled over the wind. Storm acknowledged it and began turning straight into the battlefront. This will be fun.
"Let's see…" I said to myself. "One mississippi, two mississippi, three-" I heard a gunshot whiz by. "Two and a half seconds."
Storm began changing his flight path to throw off whoever was shooting at us. I had to use aura to hold on.
"Now, drop me off at the end of the big boat!" I yelled.
Storm slowed down so I could jump off. I channeled aura into my legs to absorb the fall, then looked around.
23. 23 guns pointed at me.
I immediately put up a aura shield, making the bullets bounce off harmlessly.
"What to do… Maybe… Nah, that isn't very efficient… I got it."
I sent off a beacon of red aura. Soon after, Storm came in and knocked out the people behind me.
I returned him, then decided to change targets.
I shot a ball of aura into the boat. It tore straight through, causing water to start spewing out.
The grunts expression was priceless. I channeled aura into my eyes, making them seem like they were on fire.
"Who's next?" I asked in my most demonic voice possible.
They all jumped off. That makes things simpler.
I began tearing up the boat, until it started to sink. Once it was, I rode storm away. One boat down. Still have 9 more and an aerial fleet to deal with.
I returned to the island to recover a bit. Bill looked at me, shocked.
"Did you… Were you the one who took down the ship…"
"Yea, probably. Say, you mentioned other resistance groups here. Who are they?" I probably should have asked this before my team started attacking.
"It's… It's Team Aqua and the Aura Defenders."
One ally and one awkward ally. That's pretty good.
"Where are they?"
"Aqua is… I don't know. Their base is on a ship which is somewhere near the island. Aura Defenders are… I think they're based Five Island… "
"How many of them are fighting?"
"We haven't seen Aqua all day… But the Aura Guardians are all in."
"Well, okay then. I'll get back to work."
I scanned the sky and saw an Articuno attacking the aircraft. Apparently these guys are shit at turning around. Good for us though.
I didn't even bother to send out Storm, and just used aura and speed to stay above the water.
I tore a hole straight through one of the ships. 8 more to go.
Leaf's POV
"Articuno, use Ice Beam! Aim for the rear engine!"
Another heli down. I was about to turn around when I heard a Pokémon yell.
"MOLTREEESSSS!"
I turned Articuno around, and saw a Moltres charging at us with a black-purple aura around it.
"Pull up!" I ordered. Articuno wasted no time to do that.
I tapped my earpiece. "Guys? Team Rocket has a Shadow Moltres."
"Where's Red?" Michael immediately asked.
"Inside one of the boats. I think he forgot his earpiece," Blue said.
"I'll deal with it then," Michael volunteered.
"We all know you want to catch him," I commented.
"Well, why shouldn't I?"
"Alright. Where are you?" I asked.
"On the mountainside of the volcano."
"I'll take him there."
Moltres started chasing us trying desperately to hit Articuno. Moltres was faster, but Articuno is much more agile, and easily dodged all of Moltres' attacks. Of course, it was difficult to hold on.
"Okay! Almost there!" I said. We were coming up to the mountain. I had Articuno slow down. Hopefully Michael could distract it.
"Houndoom, Thunder Fang!"
That'll work.
Michael's POV
I wouldn't be surprised if Houndoom could solo Moltres. He has a few super-effective attacks, and Flash Fire, going against a Shadow Moltres without a trainer. Half of Moltres' attacks won't work at all.
"Houndoom, Thunder Fang!"
Houndoom jumped up (don't ask me how he goes so high) and bit Moltres' causing him to lose his flight pattern.
"Alright! Now, put on the pressure! Use Toxic!"
Houndoom hit Moltres. We got 20 minutes until he's taken down from poison. That's excluding his Thunder Fang and any other attacks.
Moltres formed a Hurricane and sent it at Houndoom. It was too fast for him to dodge, and Houndoom was injured pretty badly.
"Dang… Probably should have thought of that before challenging a legendary. Houndoom, return!" I called back Houndoom. "Espeon, let's do it!" I yelled, sending out my starter.
Moltres immediately used Flamethrower. Espeon dodged, but it seemed a bit more sluggish than normal. Oh well.
"Use Psychic!"
While Espeon was distracting Moltres, I checked my watch. It would take 15 to 10 minutes for the poison to take its course. At this rate, he'll finish me off.
"Okay, when you finish Psychic, use Future Sight!" Probably going to steal Red's strategy from the tournament.
This gave Moltres an opening, and he started charging an attack, but didn't fire it yet. I've seen the move before, but couldn't remember the name of it.
Then, Moltres used it. And I remembered it. It was Sky Attack, the legendary-exclusive move.
"Dodge Espeon!"
Espeon couldn't dodge though, and was knocked out instantly. On a normal day, he could. I don't know what's wrong.
That was, until I looked at him. The gem on her head was orange, and I remembered something. Espeons use the air currents to predict a Pokémon's next move. When Moltres used Flamethrower, it messed with the convection currents-
"Michael! No complicated science!" Omni said.
No invading other people's mind when they're trying to figure out why their Pokémon is losing.
Anyways, I checked my watch again. 10 minutes.
"MOLTRES!"
Future Sight hit. Now I'd say about 5 minutes.
"Go, Mawile!"
I snagged her from another grunt about 30 minutes ago. She's still a shadow though, but battling is one of the best ways to fix her.
"Use Sucker Punch!"
This move was counting on Moltres using an actual move, but that's a pretty safe bet.
Needless to say, it worked. Mawile hit Moltres, doing a small amount of damage.
After that, Moltres retaliated with another Flamethrower. Mawile dodged, but barely.
"Feint Attack!"
Another direct hit. Moltres looked dazed, before the poison finished him off.
"Snag ball, go!"
It shook once… popped open.
"Come one. You should be down."
I threw one more, which sealed completely. Finally have a legendary.
Red's POV
"So, have you noticed the lack of battleships around you guys?" I asked a group of grunts who were asking me to surrender.
"We're screwed, aren't we?"
"Come on. I don't kill. Intentionally. Does this thing have lifeboats?"
"Yea, we'll just head out."
They walked over to the lifeboats and swam away. That was a lot easier than normal.
Once I sunk the ship, I went to one of the islands, where a group of six people were just staring at me.
"Did you just take down 10 Rocket battleships?"
"Probably. Who are you guys?"
"We're the Aura Defenders… But I think you just stole our jobs."
"Well, rebellions are a tough business. Do you know where Riley is?"
"You mean our leader? He doesn't take kindly-"
I threw a ball of aura over their heads.
"He's on Five Island, inside the warehouse."
"Thanks."
I flew to the island. Sure enough, there was a warehouse there. I walked in and saw… Arceus, why?
Three Rocket Admins were surrounding my dad. He was tied up to a chair.
"I'm a lot tougher than you think," Dad said.
"We're a lot meaner than you think," one of the admins retorted.
"Plus, we have all the time in the world. No one will come for you," another one said.
I'm not sure to rescue him now, or wait for the dialogue to become more ironic.
"I wouldn't be too sure about that."
The admins looked around blankly.
"Red, that's your cue," he said.
"Sorry, didn't realize," I said, walking inside with Ignite behind me.
"Ahh, Fire Red… Yea, we're fucked."
One of them ran out the back door, while the other two just stared.
"So, how do you want to do this? One on two? Two on two? I just beat your asses right now? You have a couple different options."
They both drew pistols.
"How long will it take you guys to realize that guns tend to not work very well on me?"
I put up a shield before they fired. I rapidly expanded it, knocking them down. Once they were unconscious, I took a gun from them (I may need it).
"So, why are you here?" My dad asked as I was untying him.
"Bill called us over. He said that these islands needed help from a Team Rocket attack."
"Well, nothing too wrong about that. Out of curiosity, do you still have the bracelet I gave you?"
"I already used it."
"Who did you mega-evolve then?"
"Mewtwo," I said, nonchalantly. "I was in a battle against Mega Rayquaza."
"...Red, you're something."
We left the warehouse with the grunts still inside. I split up with my dad to meet the rest of my team.
So, Michael now has a Moltres, Leaf took down the entirety of the air fleet, and Blue managed to stop 100(ish) grunts from getting past the beach on the first three islands. Damn I love my friends.
Once we were finished, I took off my aura gloves. I could feel a lot of my power fading away, which is probably a good thing for everyone around me.
"Thank… thank you for helping," Bill said.
"Like I said, it's our job. Now, can you get us a ride back?"
"Of course."
After I said goodbye to my dad (which was much shorter than last time) we flew back to Cinnabar.
"Thank you guys… a lot…"
"No problem. You gave us PASS, so we returned the favor," Leaf said.
"Alright…"
I honestly wonder how someone like Bill can fly a helicopter. I mean, that level of geekiness shouldn't be able to do anything like that.
"So, what now?" Michael asked after Bill left.
"We go to Pallet," I said, simply.
"Okay. Leaf, wanna race?"
"Sure."
They both sent out their legendary bird. There would have been a much better rivalry if one wasn't shadow.
"Maybe I'll just buy cologne for him…" Michael said to himself.
They set off quickly though.
"You can catch up, right?" I asked Blue.
"Of course. Fearow has gone much faster."
"Alright. I'll stay here for a couple minutes. Storm can get there in a couple seconds if he tries."
"Alright. See you soon."
Blue flew off, leaving me alone on the beach.
"YOU!"
Well, this is a shocker.
I turned around and saw a girl who looked a lot like Leaf, but a different outfit. She had a black dress and no hat. Weirdo.
"Sup?"
"YOU! You have defeated us for the last time!"
Yellow teleported behind me. I waited for a while.
"Where's Lyra and Red?"
"They are busy… Nevertheless, we'll-"
"Hold on a sec. You're really trying to take me just two on one? And you used the cartoon villain approach? Screw your strategies, we need to work on your general villaness."
"Yellow, hold him down!"
"Nah, I'm cool."
Yellow used her psychic abilities to stop me, and in return, I sent a full power Aura Beam at her face.
"Well, I'm going to get going."
"Sorry, was I late?"
Flying in on a Pidgeot was… fuck. Red.
"Hello Fire. It's been a while."
"You see?" I said to the girls. "That's how you make an entrance."
"Enough. You're coming with me."
"Uh-huh. Sure."
"Charizard, knock him out."
"Ignite, make sure I'm not knocked out."
Out two Charizards glared at each other.
"Fuck this. Ignite, get me a lift!"
Ignite took off as I did a aura jump. I was caught and on my way, when I saw streams of fire behind me.
"You're not getting away that easy."
"Storm, switch passengers!"
I jumped from Ignite to Storm. No offence to Ignite, but Storm is WAY faster.
"Let's go, full power! Take it to the mainland!"
Storm took off, leaving Red in the dust. I know he has a Pidgeot too, but by the time he mounts it, I'll already be gone.
Sure enough, I completely lost him. Now I have to take a roundabout way back though.
I was going to go to Pallet beach, when we passed over a familiar sight. It was the Rocket compound they put me in a long time ago. Well, it would be rude not to stop by.
Yellow's POV
"So, I understand you failed to capture their leader, when he was alone," Giovanni said, threataningly.
"Yes! I'm so sorry sir! It won't happen again!"
"She speaks for me too, lord Giovanni," Green added.
Lyra wasn't here and Red just stayed silent.
"I would hope so. In any case, you two must come with me to re-strengthen your allegiance with Team Rocket. Follow me."
Giovanni led us down to the allegiance room. It's where we get conditioned to love Team Rocket even more.
"Alright. Green, you go in first," Giovanni ordered.
He shut the door. After 10 minutes, Green stepped out.
"Thank you for reassuring my loyalty," Green thanked.
"Yes. Now, Yellow, your turn."
I stepped inside the metal room. The walls began glowing, forming various patterns, mesmerizing me.
"Oooh…"
Then it all shut off. I instantly snapped awake, but something felt… off.
I exited the room and saw that all the bases lights were off. I made one on my fingertips and looked at Giovanni for orders.
"It appears that someone has cut the power to the base. Green, go investigate. Yellow… you are to return to your room until power has been returned."
"Yes sir!" We both said.
I was a bit confused. Why would Giovanni- No! I would never question lord… no, I can't bring myself to say it.
I went into my room with these weird emotions. It was like… Giovanni was becoming… something less.
I mean, he is just a man, not a god. Why would I address him with the title lord?
I looked at my Pokéballs. Maybe they would have the answer.
"Chchu, I need help," I said, sending out my Pikachu.
She looked ready to battle.
"No, I just need to talk."
She looked at me, shocked. Then… I saw something. It was… I don't know… a flash of red.
"I feel off… I figured talking to you would help."
She looked at me, then shook her head, then returned herself.
"Why? You obey me in battle. Why not now? Do you want to fight… hurt others… hurt Pokémon… Arceus… what have I done…"
It clicked. Things are coming back to me! Team Rocket are the bad guys! They've hurt so many Pokémon!
I sent out Chuchu one more time, but this time, used some of my powers to free her from Team Rocket's… mind control. That's what they did!
"Chuchu, are you back?"
"Pi pikachu!"
"We're taking our lives back! Everyone! Go!"
I sent out all my Pokémon and freed them all.
"We're getting out of here! You guys ready?"
They all made cried of cheers.
"Gravvy, use Rollout on the wall!"
Gravvy tore a hole, leading to the outside world.
There were a couple guards-err, grunts outside with weapons pointed at me.
"Fire!" One of them yelled.
They aimed higher than me. When the gunfire died down, I looked outside. No way… I just found my way out.
Fire Red was attacking the base.
He was on the roof, just one story above me.
"Yellow! Please move to the hallway, as it appears our firefight has caused collateral damage to your room!" One of the grunts ordered.
"Not anymore!"
I ripped his gun away and gave it to Fire Red. He looked at me, before giving me a half smile. he cast the gun aside, and formed two red glowing spheres in his hand.
"YELLOW! YOU TRAITOR!" One of the grunst yelled. He had an electrically charged staff and was running at me.
"Oh, you asked for this one," Red said, approaching the grunt who said that with a… I guess it was a stick with a red beam coming out of it.
"Let's go TR-8R," Fire Red said.
Fire Red's beam and the grunt's staff clashed, making unnecessarily loud noises. Also, everyone else just stopped firing to watch the battle.
After a couple minutes of clashing, Fire Red hit the grunt in the head, knocking him out.
"Well, I think that's enough for now," he said. "Oh, Yellow, can you get out of here yourself? Or do you need help?"
"None of my Pokémon could escape the area while I'm riding them."
"Okay. You can ride Storm."
He sent out a Charizard and Pidgeot.
"Storm is the Pidgeot. Storm, don't go too fast."
"Ot!"
I slowly got on the Pidgeot. He didn't like me much. I mean, I think I called him pathetic back at Cinnabar.
"You know, last time I escaped this place, I had the help of my friends and two legendaries," Red said, as the Pokémon were about to take off.
"Well, I'm not that bad of a trainer. And you know I have powers."
"Same here."
There was an explosion near us. Now they're using grenades. Great.
"Okay! Let's go!"
"Charizard!"
"Pidgeot!"
We took off. I heard gunfire whirring past us, but Storm seemed to be good at dodging.
"IGNITE!" I heard Red yell. I looked over, and he was flying erratically. THere was a small hole in his wing.
"Can you take me over to him?" I asked Storm. He didn't say anything, but still flew to Ignite.
I put my hand to Ignite's wing and focused. It started healing itself, making the hole smaller and smaller until it was gone.
"Since when could you do that?" Red asked.
"Always, but Team Rocket would never let me use it. Something about making my Pokémon weaker."
"Well, I'll have to remember that."
We kept flying until we were out of range from the compound.
"So, where are you gonna go?"
"I used to live in Viridian, but that's out of the question now…"
"Well, maybe I should rephrase that. Are you gonna be a bystander or resistance fighter?"
"What?"
"You're a great trainer, and have psychic abilities. Including myself, we only have two of those in Poké Underground. And Wes doesn't really do much…"
"After all I've done-"
"NO. I have heard that EVERY DAMN TIME I've saved someone from brainwashing."
"Okay… But you want me to join Poké Underground?"
"If you're up to it."
"... I'll do it. They've hurt too many Pokémon and people."
"You should meet Gold. You'll probably like him."
We kept on riding in silence, until i asked the question that I've been wondering.
"So, where will I go? Johto, Hoenn, Sinnoh, Unova, Kalos, Orre-"
"Kanto," Red said.
"Wait, you want me to… to join that team?"
"Well, every other team has 5 people, and I think Sinnoh has 6, so it's the only real choice. We also prefer to keep people in their home region."
"So, i'm going to be with you guys?"
"Hell yea. You're definitely supporting character material. Also, we'll need a bit more help for Pallet, Viridian, and Indigo."
"Okay…"
Not only am I in Poké Underground, but I'm in their strongest branch!
"Welp, here we are."
We stopped at a beach but there was nothing.
Red looked worried, and flew down. All there was was a piece of paper. He picked it up, and is eyes widened.
"Shit."
I looked at it.
"Greetings Fire Red. I am sure you will find this in search of your friends. As you have stated before, I am an actual villain, and will not say where they are held. Just know they are in a Rocket prison. Should you wish for them to stay alive, you must turn yourself into the Pallet police department. If you try anything else, we will kill them. -Red."
"I let this happen…" he said to himself.
"What? How?"
I should have battled Red back at Cinnabar. Now, he's taken them…"
He looked at the note on more time, then his expression changed.
"Heh heh… He really is an idiot."
"What do you mean?"
"Red, he could never capture all three of them. Not to mention that if he did have them, they would already be dead after the raid on the compound we just escaped from."
"So, what are we going to do?"
"Prepare. Omni, go!"
He sent out his Mew. It was really cool to see her up close.
"What's happening?"
"We need to get ready. The story's finale is coming."
Flinky: Welp, Red said it. We've hit the final stretch. Maybe some minor planning, but the big final showdown is soon. Also, Yellow is a good guy now. Yay.
