Chapter 35
Miku POV
The one who walked in the room was my father.
We all stared in shock. How is he here!? He died didn't he? Mom dropped my arms and slowly walked towards him. "Is that really you?" She asked shakily. He nodded before giving her a straight face. "Mind telling me why you're attacking our only children?"
"I was just. . ." Daddy turned to me. "Won't you tell me, Miku?"
"She thought that we were the cause of your death." I muttered. "So she tried to kill us because of it." He turned back to Mom. "Is that so?"
I couldn't hear half of what they said, but I think Daddy told Mom to pack her stuff and leave. The last thing I saw was Mom walking out of the house.
No One POV
Miku's mother walked down a dark pathway and hear faint laughing. She followed the laughing to an abandoned mansion in the middle of the woods. Pushing open the gate, she walked inside the house, and the laughing grew louder and louder.
She walked down a hallway to the farthest room(Do you know what song this is ^_^) and opens the door to see small children in a circle. "We're so happy you could join us." A little boy said happily, whose name was Jay. A little girl called Paige ignored her and said "Poke it's your turn."
"No it's my turn." said a child named Summer.
"Why don't we let the new one go next?" asked a child named Tre, his sister Cami nodded. Miku's mother set her suitcase on the floor and Jay covered her eyes with a blindfold. "Here are the rules." He said. "You sit in a chair in the middle, and we circle around singing a song. When we stop, you have to guess who is behind you." Miku's mother nodded as Tre and Cami lead her to the chair, and she sat down. They grabbed hands with Poke and Paige, who grabbed hands with Summer and Jay, who grabbed hands with another girl named Isabella. They started to circle around Miku's mother, and started to sing.
Kagome kagome
Kago no naka no tori wa
Itsu itsu deyaru
Yoake no ban ni
Tsuru to kame ga subetta.
Ushiro no shoumen daare
They stopped singing and circling, and Jay was the one behind Miku's mother. "Who is standing behind you?" The children except Jay asked her. Miku's mother stayed silent until she said "Paige."
"Wrong." The children chimed in unison, and she felt a sharp pain in her back, and another at her neck. She fell forward, her sightless eyes staring at the door. "Aw she died." Jay whined sarcastically. "We need a new playmate." The children nodded before laughing and disappearing into thin air.

I didn't want to send Miku's mom away. I wanted you guys to kill her because you wanted to. I didn't want to let you down. So anyway let's continue.
Miku POV
I woke up staring at the ceiling. My right arm was bandages halfway, and the blood on the floor disappeared.
"You alright?"
I turn and saw Daddy. I nodded and slightly smile. "Where's Mikuo?"
"He's asleep so don't worry." I let out a small sigh and heard a knock on the door. Daddy answered the door and I heard Kaito's voice. "Oh are you a friend of Miku's?"
"Uh sort of." He walks in the living room and his eyes widened as he ran to my side. "What the hell happened to you?"
"Mom." Was all I could say, and he got the message. "Mikuo got the most damage."
"Is he okay?" I nodded before staring at the floor. "You should have seen him."
Kaito held my hand. "I'm glad I didn't. When you left, I got really worried about what your mom would do."
"And now you know." He turned to my dad. "And who is that?"
"My dad." Kaito stared in disbelief. "But I thought. . . . . you told me he was dead."
"That reminds me." I said. "Dad why are you here anyway? I thought you died eight years ago."
"Well, in truth, I did die." He replied. "But God gave me a second chance in life. He told me what your mother was doing to you and Mikuo, and he decided that I couldn't just sit in Heaven and watch my children get hurt." He turned to Kaito. "And who is this?"
"Oh uh sorry." Kaito stammered. "My name is Kaito Shion, and I. . . . am dating your daughter."
There was silence after he said that, but Daddy kept smiling. "Tell me something," He finally said. "How does he treat you, Miku?"
"He's really nice." I said while holding Kaito's hand. "He's always with me, even when I want to be alone. And I know I could count on him because he promised that he would protect me. With Mikuo, of course."
"I see." Daddy hummed to himself. "Well as long as it stays that way, I don't mind."
A few nights later, I was getting ready for my date with Kaito. I looked in the mirror to see what I had on: gray hoodie, light orange frilly skirt, black thigh high socks with purple stars, black high tops, orange glasses(They're fake of course), and orange headphones around my neck. "Perfect." I said before heading downstairs. "Where are you going?" asked Mikuo.
"To a concert with Kaito." I replied before heading to the front door. The door opened without me touching the doorknob and Kaito stared at me with a smile. "Ready?"
"You bet." I said happily.
"Just be home by 11." Daddy called out. I nodded before heading to the limo.
The concert was short, so we were on our way home at 10:30. I sat in Kaito's lap as we both stared out of the window, looking at all of the buildings that passed by. "I had a great time Kaito." I spoke first. "All except for one thing."
"And what's that?" He asked sarcastically, already knowing what it was. Before I could answer him, he grabbed my chin and kissed me. The kiss deepens as he traps me in the seat, his hands traveling down to my waist. My eyes widened as I feel something poke my stomach and rub against it. I hear him moan, and I know exactly what it was.
The car comes to a stop at my place. "See ya tomorrow." I said as I got out and Kaito grabs my arm. "Love you." He said with a smile.
"Love you too." I reply back. "And Kaito. . . ." I point to what was sticking out in his pants. "You may wanna fix that." I giggle as Kaito slams the door and the limo drives away.
