CHAPTER-35: NOT QUITE OVER YET
A Long trail of sunken in footsteps in the snow led up the white covered hillside, leading to a half ruined, crumbling castle that sat at the top. A trail of red spots of fresh blood lay beside each footstep as the owner of both trails hobbled towards their stone destination, she was warring a long black cloak that hooded over her head, protecting her from the harsh wind that blew all around her. Letting out another pained grown as she trudged on, Shizuka Kuran stumbled towards the castle. Her eyes where filled with hate as she thought of the scene she had left behind at Rido's castle and the state the half-breed boy had left her in. Growling in frustration at the slow rate she was healing, Shizuka finally reached the castle's old, wooded door and she knocked as hard as she could to get attention drawn to her. Moments later the huge door swung open with a creek and light illuminated where she stood. Barging past the man who stood in the doorway, she entered a candlelit hall and saw a familiar man sat before the huge, lit fireplace.
"Good to see your black heart is still beating." He greeted sadistically." I was beginning to worry that the little kid had used your blood to paint the walls." He continued with a small laugh.
"Keep your mouth shut, Jareth, or I'll find a better use for it." Shizuka snapped, at him before turning to the man who had opened the door to her and was now entering the hall behind her.
"I am most pleased that you arrived safely, mistress. I was most concerned that you had come to the same fate as our dearly departed master." Misaki informed, with a bow.
"Yeah, the old Bastard's plan went down real well, didn't it?" The Hybrid sneered sarcastically. Suddenly Shizuka had a hand wrapped around his throat and slammed him hard into the closest wall, causing it to crack.
"Don't you ever speak ill of Lord Rido again, or you will have him to deal with upon his resurrection." She hissed.
TBC….In 'Fearful And Unforgiven' . Coming soon!
Ok, well that really is the end of part one of the trilogy. Part two will most likely be out later this year, so keep an eye out. I have a few plot bunnies that just wont leave me alone, so I will probably write a few of them first. XD
I just want to say a huge thank you to all the people who have read and reviewed my first ever fan fiction and thanks to all of you I feel like it was a huge success.
