Months and months went by with never ending twist, turns, laughter and love. Everything was cray but perfect at the same time and that's exactly how they liked it. Jack, Jerry, Leo and Kyle were not only good at their jobs but were growing every day from it. Having to face real life situation and making decisions in a blink of an eye, really changes what you were trained for and everything you thought you knew. They all knew what the job entailed but when uncontrollable things happen, it makes you look at your life and appreciate what you have.

Kim, Haley, Misty and Alex were constantly busy as well. The dance studios were continuing to grow and the dance tour was coming up once again. Kim and Misty loved the studio, loved dancing and loved the tour, but just didn't know what to do as being in New York for the past four months was starting to really feel like home. And Alex, her photography was taking off and getting recognized all over New York. She was grateful to have supporter who liked her perspective and taste on real and abstract art and it felt good to know that the world isn't always black and white.

Hilary had just graduated college with a degree in Doctor of Medicine, working towards becoming a doctor, realizing that, like her brother, she wasn't to make a difference in people's lives. And Lucas, he was just enjoying the college life, meeting new people and then, finally choosing a degree in Law, knowing with his person experience, he can help others with the same situation as others may not fully understand because they only look at it as a job and not someone's life on the line.

This was their life. They were all growing up and living life the only way they knew how; one step at a time. But, also during those four months, Alex and Misty fell in love with two guys who were perfect for them. After the night at the club, Leo and Alex picked things right back up from before and after a few months of dates, outings and a ridiculous conversation, the two made it official.

It started out like any other date, the couple was casually chatting away when Leo started wondering about Alex's future plans. "So, do you like New York?" Leo asked,

"Yeah, I really do. It's continuously growing and I know that no matter what I do, there is always something or someone that can help me achieve whatever I dream", Alex replies with a smile.

"Yep, that's New York for you", Leo started and then paused for a minute, hoping this would go as planned. "I'm really glad to have met you Alex".

"I'm glad to have met you too Leo. I like what we have going on", Alex admits.

"Yeah, me too. Which is why I would like to ask you to be my girlfriend", Leo stutters.

Alex can't help but smirk as she nods and answers, "I would like that too and it's about damn time!"

"Really?" Leo coughs outs feeling a sense of relief and then growls, "What do you mean 'about damn time?"

"Leo, we've been 'dating' for over two months and you never once made a move. I'm the one started it", Alex exclaims.

"Well, excuse me for being a gentleman and that's a bunch of crap. You did not initiate anything. It was all me. I reached for your hand first, I kissed you fist and I made sure every date went perfect", Leo argued.

"I thank you for being gentleman and for making sure the dates were perfect, I give you that. But, you're wrong on everything else. The reason we held hands is because I kept brushing my hand against yours that night in the park and you subconscious picked that up and we kissed because I kissed you on the cheek first", Alex reminded.

Leo started at Alex intently, trying to first off remember everything and secondly not back down back as this was them, always competing against one another. Others may not see it fit for a relationship but for them, they loved the challenge. "Are we really do this right now?" Leo questioned with a raised eyebrow.

"What? Having a discussion about who was right? Hell yeah we are!" Alex declared.

"Ok, fine. So, maybe it was you that gave subtle hints but I was the one who put them into action. Can you give me that?" Leo probed.

Alex thought for a second before smiling and responding, "As long as you know that I'm always right I'll give you that, deal?"

"I've got myself a devious and very clever girlfriend but you got yourself a deal", Leo gave in, leaning over the table and surprising Alex with a kiss.

Though Leo was a little irritated that the conversation didn't go exactly to plan, he did admit that he was going to do all the things Alex 'helped' him with and was just wanting for the perfect moment and ultimately, he understood Alex's reasoning for just pushing him along and he loved her leadership, take charge personality and couldn't be happier to find his match. They were so in love and everyone could see it.

Things on Misty's end though, weren't so great but not for the reasons you'd think. She and Dean hit it off instantly as his humor and wit made her smile and giggle like a school girl and he found her optimism and buoyancy refreshing. They just hung out at first, taking things slow and getting to know one another but as the time went by, Dean's flirtatious actions went unnoticed by Misty. For a while, Dean let it slide but then, it felt like he was getting friend zoned, which come on, is every guys worst nightmare so finally, after Leo and Alex got together, he decided to stop with his flirting antic and just be honest with her. Misty, of course, was caught off guard. Not because she didn't like him, because she did but because she never thought he was interested her in that way. "Really? You didn't think I liked you? Even after all this time we've spent together? Dean asked flabbergasted.

"Yeah, kind of", Misty mumbled. "I mean, obviously I'm so out of the loop with all this relationship stuff because I didn't even know you were flirting with me. I honestly thought you were just being nice. I've spent my whole life training to be the best dancer I can be so I've never really been in a relationship. I'm so oblivious, embarrassed and I'm so sorry", looking at the ground.

"Not to be mean but yeah, you kind of are oblivious", Dean chuckled but placed two fingers under her chin, lifting her face. "But that's what I like about you. You're real and confident. There's no messing around with you, trying to figure out our angle because I know and see that when you commit to something, you put one hundred percent of yourself into it and that's why I'm committing to you. You make me smile and want to be the best I can be so, Misty, will you go out with me and be my girlfriend?"

Misty's heart was beating fast and was actually speechless. She really did like Dean so why not take a chance. "Yes", she whispered out with a small smile forming on her lips.

Dean was shocked that Misty answered right away as he was mentally getting ready to fight for this but smirked and leaned down, pressing his lips to hers in their first official kiss.

And so, from then on, it was one thing after another which leads ups to today, one year later at Kyle and Charlotte's wedding. The couple had gotten engaged about eight months ago and it completely took over all their lives. Leo, Jack, Jerry and Dean were all asked to be groomsmen, joining Kyle's little brother, Jace and Alex, Kim, Misty and Hilary were all bridesmaids, joining Charlotte's sister Riley as they all became best friends with Charlotte soon after the night at the club.

The guys' job as simple; stay out of the girls' way, follow the list of instructions and everything would be just fine. But for the girls, it was business and there was no messing around. They had to have countless dress fittings, meetings on hair and makeup and helping with the decorations. Kyle was great throughout the whole wedding planning process, sharing his opinions and always keeping Charlotte calm and the other guys did great too, knowing all they had to do was keep their comments to themselves.

And though things were going smoothly, the one thing the guys did not like was the way their girlfriends' eye lit up during certain wedding topics. Two of them weren't that concerned as it was still a little early to be talking about it, though it really wasn't, as the other two needed to think long and hard about the next step of their relationship. And they did. They really thought, carefully and meticulously about this decision, finally coming up an answer they trusted with their heart.

OoOoOoOo

It was a month before Kyle and Charlotte's wedding when the whole gang got together for dinner, a normal dinner at that consisted of no wedding talk what so ever. Everyone was happy, in love and so stressed out but hey, that's just as part of life my friends. The conversation easily flowed from one thing to another, laughter filling their table when suddenly, Hilary smiled, "Well, since we're all together, there's something we would like to tell you", grabbing Jerry's hand as he was grinning widely.

"Oh hell no", Jack growled. "Please tell me you're not pregnant", leaning forward and glaring at the two.

"Jack!" Kim hisses, pulling him back into his chair.

"Jack", Hilary gasped, shocked and embarrassed. "NO, I'm not pregnant you idiot. But, Jerry and I are engaged!"

"Engaged?" Jack chocked out, starting to feel the room spin.

"Yes, engaged", Hilary nodded slowly, studying her brother's face that was unreadable.

Silence took over the table as Alex quickly jumped in, congratulating the couple with Misty, Kyle and Charlotte following suit.

"Thank you" both Hilary and Jerry beamed, excited for the new chapter of their lives.

Kim also congratulated the couple moments later, thrilled for her 'sister in law' as the two were grateful for her support.

Hilary noticed Jack was still sitting there, stiff as a statue as she was beyond nervous about his reaction as silence was never a good thing, "Jack?" she whispers cautiously. "Are you mad at me?"

Jack snapped out of his thoughts upon hearing his sister's voice and looks up at her, seeing the worried and scared look in her eyes. "No, I'm not mad at you. You know I could never really be mad at you but am I shocked? Hell yeah", Jack breathed out. "And the only person I am mad is you", pointing at Jerry.

"Me? Why me? I didn't do anything", Jerry shot back.

"You did do something! You proposed to my sister and didn't tell me!" Jack yells standing up.

"Yeah, well, you proposed to my sister and didn't tell me either!" Jerry screamed, looking at Kim who looked like a deer in headlights

"What are you talking about Jerry?" Misty instantly jumped in, not wanting any problems that could result in them getting kicked out of the restaurant.

"What I just said. Jack and Kim are engaged too!" Jerry repeated in a calmer manner.

"How do you know that?" Kyle joined in.

"Because for the past I don't know, two or three weeks, Kim has been wearing this necklace we can't see. I've learned a few things from my job and I knew she was hiding something. And also, because that's what Hilary did with her ring", Jerry explained.

Everyone else's jaw drops as they all stared between Jack, Kim and Jerry because things just got a hell of a lot more interesting. "Kim? Are you and my brother really engaged?" Hilary asked with a smile slowly forming in her lips.

Kim and Jack shared a look before Kim nodded and said, "Yes, Jack and I are engaged".

Cheers erupted around the table as the other guests glared at them. "Wait…so why were you so mad at me when you aren't any better" Jerry pushed with a raised eyebrow.

"Um, excuse me? I am better than you and I have a right to be angry", Jack started before getting cut off.

"And so do I!" Jerry butted in.

"NO, you don't. Kim may be your 'little sister' but Hilary is my real little sister. And you, your my best friend. How could you NOT tell me?" Jack probed.

"She is my real sister, thank you very much. Blood doesn't make family and you know that. The same goes for you and I didn't tell you because I didn't know how you would react", Jerry admitted.

"Point taken. We both did the same thing and I'm sorry. But really Jerry? You didn't know how I'd react? I let you guys date for fuck sakes. If I didn't like it, I would have stopped it a long time ago and you know that. Besides, I like you guys together", Jack confessed.

"I'm sorry too bro. And I guess you're right; I was worried about nothing. So, are we good?" Jerry wondered.

"Yeah, we're good", Jack nodded and then smiled, "Congrats Jer".

"You too man, you too", Jerry grinned as they hugged it out.

"What the hell just happened?" Alex whispered to Misty.

"I honestly have no idea", Misty replied, looking between Jack and Jerry.

OoOoOoOo

Kyle and Charlotte's wedding went off without a hitch and was truly, a beautiful affair. It was a simple but classy wedding with a black and white theme and a more intimate setting as it was only family and their closest of friends. Everyone partied the night away and it was times like this that they were all grateful to have met one another and create such a strong friendship.

OoOoOoOo

And, like always, their lives carried on. Kim and Hilary began planning their weddings, the guys prepared themselves for another round of wedding talk, Misty and Alex were not only happy for the weddings but were nervous with having two of them happening at the same time and lastly, Kyle got some news that changed everything.

Another six months had passed as it was now Kyle's last day at Precinct 4 with Leo, Jack, Jerry and Dean as Charlotte had gotten an amazing opportunity to teach at Oxford University. Though Kyle was sad to leave, this was a once in a lifetime opportunity for Charlotte and he promised to keep in touch with everyone and come back for everyone's weddings. And true to his word, he and Charlotte returned for Jack and Kim's wedding two months months later.

The Crawford-Brewer wedding was an extravagant affair as anyone and everyone was there. It was filled with family and friends as Chuck, Bethany and James made sure everything was perfect and it was; but nothing was more perfect then seeing Jack and Kim standing in front of their loved ones, Jack, dressed in a crisp suit and Kim, dressed in a simple yet elegant high-low white dress and expressing their love for one another. "Kim, we have been through so many ups and downs, I've lost track. Life for us was never a walk in the park but out love seemed to surpass every obstacle and kept bringing us back together. I know there will be times when you will get angry at me, will be disappointed in my chooses and ultimately want to kick my sorry butt to the curb and trust me when I say, I'll let you because when even we don't see eye to eye, our love won't allow us fall apart, it will make us fight even harder to stay together. I know that I can't promise you happiness and riches every day of our lives but I can promise you that I will love you every second of every day. I'm so thankful to have you in my life as you've become my guardian angel", Jack said, emotion filling every word he spoke.

Kim, who was already a mess was truly at a loss of words and hearing Jack say something so heartfelt made this moment even more surreal. Her dreams were coming true and though it was a bumpy ride, she wouldn't have wanted it any other way. "Jack, our love kind of reminds me of a soap opera. We have the really good, the crazy bad and everything in between. We go from loving each other to tearing at each other's throat and it's not because we don't love one another, it's because we love each other too much. We only want to see the best in one another and be with each other, not matter what it costs. Our love has proven to be strong enough to get us through anything life throws our way and I can't wait for the rest of our life together. I know not every day will be perfect but you and me; were prefect for one another and I love you more than words can describe. Thank you for loving me and showing me what love truly is. I'm safest in your arms and I won't ever leave", Kim shared, keeping it together for the most part.

Everyone was thrilled Jack and Kim finally made it and got married. Everyone loved the couple together, even with all the drama and their love, it redefined everything you thought you knew about it. The night was crazy awesome and one for the books.

OoOoOoOo

Many more months went by with Hilary and Jerry taking a break from planning their wedding as Hilary wanted to finish her third year of residency before getting married, knowing that her schedule would be easier to work with after that. Alex and Leo were so I love that a few months after Jack and Kim tied the knot, Leo used his 'surprise' from a while back and planned a causal but romantic day for Alex. Going from the busy streets of Manhattan, down the New York New York to finally over to Staten Island, finishing the night at an Italian restaurant and down on one knee.

And Misty and Dean? They were good, no great, happy and also so in love but Dean wanted to be more than that. He wanted to feel the euphoria of being 'devoted' to someone for life and knew that he needed help because for one, Misty deserved the best surprise ever.

About a week later, after talking with Leo, Dean got a ballpark of Alex's schedule and got to work. It was a nice day as Alex was outside, taking pictures on the Brooklyn Bridge when she got a phone call from. She quickly glanced at her screen and then started to freak out, thinking the worst. "Dean? What's wrong? Is it Leo?" Alex rushed out as any time a partner calls is never a good thing.

"Alex, calm down. Nothing's wrong and Leo's fine", Dean calmly replied.

"Thank god", Alex breathes out. "Sorry for freaking out on you. What's up?"

"It's all good, don't worry about it. But I do need you help", Dean answered in a low tone.

"Alright, you got it. What do you need?" Alex inquired.

"Could you meet me tomorrow in Newark?" Dean wondered.

"Um, yeah sure. Are you ok Dean?" Alex probed curiously.

"Yeah, I'm fine. Also, can you not mention this to Mis, Alex", Dean throws in.

"Dean,", Alex starts before getting cut off.

"Alex, just trust me ok. I'll see you tomorrow at eleven", Dean finished, hanging up and leaving a very confused Alex staring at her phone.

Alex didn't know what to think, but let it slide and finished up her last few shots of the day before packing up and heading back to Kick Step.

OoOoOoOo

The next morning, Alex lazily wandered around the apartment, note pad in hand as she was going over her wedding check off list again as the countdown was down to one month left. Things were set and she was more than ready to start a life with Leo. As she made a few side notes, she soon realized that she had to start getting ready for her meeting with Dean. Throwing on a pair of jeans and a t-shirt, Alex grabbed her purse and was out the door.

Within forty minutes, Alex pulled up in front of a café, quickly finding a parking spot and then getting out of her car, ready and curious to find out what was up Dean's sleeve. As soon as she enters, she scanned the room for her friend, immediately spotting Dean in the corner, dressed in street clothes and two drinks on the table. "Hey Alex, thanks for coming", Dean smiled, as the two shared a hug.

"Yeah, no problem Dean. How are you?" Alex asked as she slid into the booth.

"I'm good. Been busy with work and the list Leo gave me", Dean answered with a smirk.

"Haha, that list is not that bad", Alex shot back.

"Ok, so our list isn't that bad but your list is a little crazy. Misty was so exhausted last week, that as soon as she fell onto the bed, she was out", Dean pointed out.

Alex rolled her eyes but mentally agreed with Dean as last week, she too also passed out as soon as she got home. "Ok, whatever. We're not here to discuss my list so, what up?" Alex changed the subject.

"Um, has Misty ever talked to you about, you know, getting married and all that stuff?" Dean mumbled.

Alex thought for a second before her eye got really big and huge grin was plastered on her face. "Oh. My. God. You're going to propose aren't you?" Alex asked, getting giddy.

"Well, yeah, but I don't know if that's a good idea or even what to do", Dean confesses.

"Dean, listen to me. Misty loves you, loves you more than you know. I think you should just pop the question whenever you feel is right because we both know Misty; she's not even going to know what's happening. And besides, she's already practically living with you, why not make it official", Alex suggests.

"Hey, that's not true", Dean defended.

Alex raised an eyebrow and responded, "Dude, we all know. The secrets out and it's actually a good that she's with you because I was worried she was all alone at the apartment since I moved in with Leo".

"Everyone knows?" Dean cried out, slightly embarrassed.

"Um yeah", Alex guiltily smiles.

"Oh god", Dean muttered, shaking his head. "OK, moving on. How did Leo propose? Was it a surprise or did you kind of know?"

"Leo made it like any other day. It was just us and I was so surprised", Alex remembered as she stared off, thinking about that day, five months ago.

Flashback: Leo had called Alex around mid morning in a very cheerful tone, wondering if she was free for the day and Alex, who made up her own schedule, was all for spending the day with her boyfriend. They had breakfast at their favorite café that had the best pastries, ever! They did some shopping, where they both bought an outfit for dinner and then went to their favorite Italian restaurant outside the city. They talked about anything and everything, loving dates like that. They talked about Kyle, Jack and Kim's wedding and even about the bet they had going on involving Misty and Dean, but shh, that's a secret. Their stomachs were full and the night was winding down as Leo just stared at Alex, who's blue eyes just sparkled in any light. She gave him a shy smile as his heart fluttered and he knew there was nothing he wanted more. He got out of his chair, pulling out a black box out of his jacket pocket and then went down on one knee. "Alex, I love you. I love you so much and you know that. From the second I saw you, you had my heart, have been the holder of it ever since and I wouldn't want it any other way. You are the best person I have ever met and you always keep me on my toes. I want every day to be like that for the rest my life so Alex, will you marry me?" Leo asked with a nervous smile.

Alex, who is in shock, gave Leo a smile in return, shrieking out, "YES!"

Leo let out a breath he didn't know he was holding in, got up and slid the ring on her finger and kissed her like there's no tomorrow.

End flashback.

"Okay, I got this. Thanks Alex. I owe you but remember –",Dean started.

"I can't tell Misty, I know", Alex Cut in.

"Alright, well I have my shift in an hour but I'll see you tonight, right?" Dean questions as he stands up.

"Yep! Kim, Misty and I will be there after Misty's last class", Alex grind as they share a hug.

"Great, bye", Dean waved as he headed out.

Alex smiled to herself as she left the cafe, knowing Misty will probably have a heart attack whenever this happened but it was going to be crazy and awesome and she couldn't wait for her best friend to catch up with the rest if them.

OoOoOoOo

That night, they all met up at Jack and Kim's house for their monthly dinner get together and caught up on each other's lives. Hilary and Jerry were back to planning their wedding that was actually going to be in less than six months as they just continued on from before. Alex and Leo were making sure everyone had done their jobs for their wedding and as they all looked around the table, there was nothing but love and strong friendships. They are all family now and they couldn't have asked for a better group of people to have in their lives. Kim, Misty, and Hillary were in a state of bliss as Alex looked over at Misty and Dean, she saw the love they had for one another and knew that it doesn't get better than this. And it doesn't. The happiness you feel and the rush you get makes you feel like you're on top of the world. And so, with everyone's good spirits, nothing was bringing them down.

OoOoOoOo

It was a week before Alex and Leo's wedding and to say things were finished and set would be an understatement. Though mostly everything else was good, the flower shop short ordered the flowers, causing Misty and Alex to have to find new flowers to match the roses and tulips and the bakery somehow switched the orders causing Alex to get a pink princess birthday cake which Misty took care of with the help of Lucas because with a lawyer and pissed off Misty, it would scare the crap out of anyone.

One night, after a very stressful day, Dean took Misty out as he knew she needed to take a break. They were walking around town, hand-in-hand when he suddenly pulled her towards the small park at the end of the street. Misty smiled at Dean's sweetness and was thankful to have him in her life, especially now. "Thank you for tonight. You're the best boyfriend ever and I love you",

Misty whispered, leaning up and placing a soft kiss on his lips.

"I love you too and you know I'd do anything for you, which is why tonight seems like the perfect night to do this", Dean smiled, getting down on one knee.

"Dean..." Misty whispered out with her eyes widening.

Her breathing quickened and Dean quickly jumped into action as this was already starting off on the wrong foot. "Mis, baby, stay with me. I know you weren't expecting this, obviously, but I love you so much. You changed my life and you can't imagine my life without you now so, Misty, will you marry me?"

Misty was stunned as she just continuously blinked down at Dean. She looked from the ring to Dean and then back to the ring as she felt a gentle squeeze to her hands, bringing her back to reality. "Is this this for real?" she whispered .

"It's real baby", Dean smiled.

"I don't know what to say. No, I mean I do but – oh. My. God. I just, yes!" Misty finally spits out.

"Yes? Dean repeated just to make sure he heard correctly.

"Yes, yes I'll marry you", Misty cried.

Dean quickly slid the ring on her finger and then kissed your as it all felt like a dream, and very good dream at that.

OoOoOoOo

Everyone found out a few days later at the rehearsal dinner for Alex and Leo and though Misty thanked everyone for their congratulatory love, she pushed all the attention back to to the couple. Everything was finally set and good to go as tomorrow was the only the beginning.

OoOoOoOo

The morning went by in a flash as everyone was continuously on the move, making sure things were in place. Misty helped Alex into her dress and though Alex wasn't much of a dress girl, the dress was absolutely beautiful. Strapless with a sweetheart neckline that flowed down to the ground with different layers. "Alex", Misty started to cry you look absolutely stunning. Just like a princess".

"Thanks Mis, that means so much and thank you for helping with the wedding. You truly are a lifesaver and I love you", Alex beamed, bringing her best friend in for a hug.

"I love you too Lex. Now, let's get you married", Misty whispered into Alex's ear and giving her one last squeeze. The bridesmaids; Misty, Kim, Hilary and Kayla, Alex's sister made their way to the back door and then outside to the backyard garden to see the guys all decked out in suits. The guy all looked in awe at their significant other as Leo's jaw at the sight of Alex. The ceremony was simple but loving as their vows only proved how much love they had for one another. "Alex, I know I say this more times than we can count but I love you. Your smile brightens my day, the sparkle in your eyes makes me never want to stop staring at you and your personality is one of a kind. You're determined, feisty and strong minded but you're also sweet, loving and hilarious to no end. I know that there will be times when it won't be easy but I know so we can survive anything when we're together. I know for the rest of my life, I'll be the happiest man on earth because I have you", Leo grinned with that twinkle in his eye.

Alex smiled and couldn't stop as she read her vows. "Leo, you are the best man I have ever met. You're not only my soon to be husband but my best friend. You not only keep me balanced, but you challenge me and fight back. I love that we can be so different but so alike at the same time. I know that our love is strong and complex but that's what makes us, us. We learn from each other every day and I wouldn't want to take this journey with anyone else. You make me believe in all that's in the world and I know that I love you more and more each day".

The reception was fun and wild as that's exactly how it should be. Alex and Leo were all for letting loose to celebrate this moment. They were finally husband and wife! This was another joyous occasion and with three down, that meant there was only two more were to go. So, bring on the love and tears because its going to be one heck of a ride.

And there you go folks! Please R&R and let me know what you think! Thanks again for all of the reviews!

Please let's try and reach 585 before the next and final chapter!

Thanks and until next time,
