Two weeks had passed since Davis's visit to the hospital, the destined had been accepting of the treaty and they had no arguments in the time passed, the chosen of
darkness continued his regular routine along with his angels and Lily, he and the angels would still catch glances at the destined who were surprised at the relative
calmness. Davis hadn't had the chance of talking to Kari but the gaze she kept giving him made him think that there was something that they needed to talk about.
The music festival was fastly approaching, Kohaku had been helping the hazard group to prepare all the special lights and effects that they would use that day, he
had become a good friend to the three and turned out to be a complete genius when it came to entertainment.
"It seems that everything is going according to plan" he said to Alexia and Victoria as they nodded at him "It is only a matter of time, the festival will be in two days
and the preparations have been completed, I however have one more thing that I need to do"
The angels looked at their master trying to decipher the meaning behind his words; they were aware of the incident with Kari and were expecting him to do
something related to her. Truth be told, the angels didn't have much love for the girl of light but Davis had explained their first meeting and all they could do was
agree with his actions, hug him and promise to stay forever at his side.
"As you are aware" said Davis snapping both angels from their thoughts "Wisemon has been our eyes and ears in the digital universe for quite some time now, it has
dawned to me that there is no need for him to remain in the dark dimension, it is time for him to come and join us in the real world"
"I agree" said Alexia first "His powers will be needed for the upcoming battle, there is a high probability that the destined will break the treaty once they hear about
our plans"
"Not only that" continued Victoria "But he is known to be quite the negotiator, he is a very peaceful being and can be very convincing when it is needed"
"But most importantly than that" said Davis "He is our friend, my mentor, and the one living figure I look up to, he deserves his freedom and we will grant him that
privilege"
Davis got up and went to his room to change clothes, he instructed the angels to stay in the penthouse along with Lily, they needed to be prepared for the festival
and had to be present in the real world in case anything happened. He exited the room and went to the rooftop, he walked to the edge of the roof and dived into the
ground, as he fell down he said in a demanding voice.
"Dimensional rift, DARK PORTAL OPEN!"
Dark Dimension: Dark Castle
Davis appeared at the entrance to the dark castle, the panorama had not changed at all, dark, grey, depressed, lonely, time seemed to be on hold in this dimension,
there was no hurry or delay in this place, everything merely existed. He opened the gigantic doors and stepped into the castle in search of his mentor.
Wisemon was currently in one of the various relaxing rooms, he opened his ancient book and read it with calmness, his attention was diverted when he sensed the
presence of the dark king within the castle, he closed his book and went over to meet his pupil.
"Sensei, it has been a while, how are you doing?" asked Davis
"I have fared well my king, although I am getting a bit impatient with my reading material, it seems to be running out of new pages for me to read and analyze" he
said as he gave a chuckle filled with contempt and amusement
"It's true, your text has only a certain amount of pages, but that is not why I have come here" said Davis while he looked from the book and back to Wisemon
"Sensei, you have been my mentor, my friend and a father figure to me, it is time to leave this hollow place behind, join me, and together we will defeat the gods
once and for all"
"I'm afraid that I do not understand your motive my king" replied Wisemon with confusion
"Let's leave here sensei, forever, you will never have to see this place again unless you want to, I ask you to join me in the human world, there is much to see and I
promise you that you will not be disappointed" said Davis while he awaited Wisemon's answer
"I thank you my king, I have grown tired of my time here, I accept your offer, but even though I will not be present in this castle, I will still assist you in anything I
can" he responded as he stretched out his hand towards Davis who took it within his own and shook it firmly
"The time is growing closer, sensei, I will need your assistance in the battle that is ahead of us, but for now I would like for you to accompany me to my home and
after all is set and done then I promise that I will show you the wonders that this dimension has to offer" said Davis as he and his mentor walked back to the
entrance
"I look forward to that day, my king"
The couple disappeared thru the main gate leaving behind the place that had served as a prison to the once messenger of the Gods, before Davis opened the portal
back to the human world Wisemon took one last look at the place that had been his home for such a long time, Davis looked at him with understanding and patted
him on the shoulder, Wisemon got the message and turned around, after that he never looked back, it was time to free himself.
"DIMENSIONAL RIFT! CHOSEN DIMENSION! ODAIBA PORTAL OPEN!"

Davis and Wisemon had appeared on the rooftop of Olympian towers, the ancient digimon looked around not believing what he was seeing, the scenery was beautiful
it was a ravishing metropolis that consumed the senses of those privileged enough to see it, the towers, the lights, everything was so much different.
"My king, I-I" he said not quite knowing how to put his excitement into words
"It is beautiful isn't it" said Davis as Wisemon merely nodded his head "I chose this place not only because of the luxury but also because of the view, when we see
the world from here we realize how small we truly are" he said deeply "Those people in the horizon, each of them has a story, some of happiness but in the majority
of them I see sadness and pain, and when that happens sensei, I get discouraged because I wish that I could leave something meaningful behind when my time
comes" he finished with sadness
"My king" said his mentor as he looked at him "You will leave something good behind, you have already helped many, even if the others see it as a form of evil, I can
assure you that you have made a positive mark in the lives of those you took the time to aid. You are meant to do great things and great things you shall do"
The chosen of the dark hazard looked at his mentor with appreciation for the words of wisdom he had just received from him, turning around to the city he added.
"I thank you for your words of wisdom, I will keep that in mind as I live, but let's not talk about sadness, enjoy sensei, you deserve it, now if you could please
accompany me please, there are still a couple of days before the portal opening and I shall get you prepared to live in this world" he said as Wisemon followed him
Two Days Later

The next days had passed rapidly with so much activity going on in the lives of the hazard group, Wisemon had been aided by Davis and had come up with a false
name and identity that would be used during the time he would in the real world, he had turned out to be quite humanlike even though he wasn't a shape shifter like
Alexia and Victoria, his wings had been tied with a strong rubber undershirt and after removing the excessive clothing and the book, he looked like a middle eastern
man in his early 30s. His features were delicate and yet did not take away any masculinity, his eyes were a catlike gold and his hair was pushed to the side for a
classic look. He was instructed by Alexia and Victoria on how to act in front of humans and before anyone knew, the day had come, the music festival, the
performance day, the day of revenge.
"Alexia, did you call Kohaku?" asked Davis as he finished tucking in his shirt
"Yes master, he said that he would be there before we arrive, so that he can set everything up for the performance" she answered as she prepared her dress for the
night
"Pride, you need to hurry up it's almost 530 and you still haven't put on your dress" said Victoria from the door where she stood already fully dressed
"Well if you would be quiet for a moment then maybe I could get out of these pants and into that dress" she answered huffing loudly
"Alright, alright" said Davis breaking the fight "Let's leave Alexia to her dress, Victoria, let's go over the plan once again while we wait for her"
The chosen of darkness and his angel left the room and entered the kitchen were Wisemon was currently having an afternoon tea as he listened to Lily talk about her
love for unicorns and princess books while Tokomon X laid on her lap taking a nap.
"How are you doing this afternoon, Lily and Mr. Rashid Antar" said Davis as he walked to the kitchen and greeted Lily and Wisemon
"I'm telling Rashi about unicorns and the story my teacher told us today" said Lily smiling at Davis while Wisemon looked at the girl with care
"I still find it hard to learn your name Wisemon" said Victoria "Don't get me wrong, I like the change but I just need some time to adjust"
"I feel exactly the same way, I called you Lilithmon for such a long time that it seems almost foreign to call you Victoria" he answered
"It will take some time like Victoria said, but you have to remember that you are not bound by your names anymore, you have become your own person and I hope
that all this time together has taught you that each of us is unique in our own way and that we shouldn't be bound by out titles" said Davis as he took the
conversation to a deeper level
The group continued to make small talk while the waited for Alexia to finish her preparation, after the angel of pride walked out they headed towards their respective
vehicles and headed to their destination, Wisemon would be dropped off at Highton View to check the portal once again and then he would meet the group at the high
school, Victoria would pick up the masks from a local store while Alexia would pick up a pair of comfortable heels that she and Victoria would be using during the
performance, Davis on the other hand would drop off Lily at Jade's who was more than happy to watch over the girl.
Jade's House
The chosen of darkness arrived at her friend's house and was greeted by the young woman who was in the middle of baking a cake, Lily and Tokomon X quickly went
over to her and showered her with hugs and kisses, Davis announced his departure and headed towards the door but before he did that he was stopped by Lily who
held the ocarina he had given her in her hand.
"Oni-Chan, I've gotten pretty good at it, I can play the whole song, look" she said as the melody began to be heard
After a couple of minutes it ended and Davis could not have been more proud of her, he hugged her closely to him and before he could pull away he heard her say.
"I love you Oni-Chan, thank you for my song" she said and Davis felt his walks break
"I love you too, my little Lily" he answered as he composed himself and said goodbye to her, Tokomon X and Jade
Odaiba High School
Kari and the rest of the destined were excited to say the least, the war with Davis had taken a peaceful path and after so long they finally had a night to themselves,
that day the Warriors and Tamers had taken this opportunity to explore the greater Tokyo area, the relationship with Kouichi was still strained and he just decided to
take an extra shift at the restaurant. It was only the destined and their families that would be attending that evening, the teenage wolfs were well known and that
would certainly attract a large amount of people.
"KARI!" yelled a voice from behind the chosen of light
"Jun, what's up?" asked Kari as Jun and her parents stepped into view
"Nothing much, seems like this year's it's gonna be the big one, huh" she said as she looked at the destined and their families
"Yeah I know, it's been such a crazy year that it's good to finally have a little time to relax" said Kari not hiding her discomfort
"Have you heard from him" asked Jun in a low voice so that nobody else could hear
"I've seen him around but I haven't talked to him"
"It still bothers you doesn't it?" asked Jun
"It kinda does, I mean he remembered all of our past, even small details which took me time to remember but still he keeps doing all these things that make him
seem like a monster" answered the girl with conflict in her mind
"I know what you mean, but I guess we'll just have to wait, and I'm sorry to say that even though you, me, Ken and Cody will accept him if he comes to his senses,
the others especially Tai and T.K. wont"
"They are doing what they think is right, the darkness has always led people to becoming evil and if Davis has chosen that, then I guess I'll just have to stick with my
brother and friend" she answered with a small hint of anger
The group continued to exchange their views on the upcoming performance while throwing words of encouragement to Matt from time to time, the parents were
happy that their children were having such a good time, it had been a while now that they had noticed them acting stressed out and frustrated and although they
knew it had to do with the digital world they still didn't quite understand it.

Loud music began to be heard as there was a loud rumbling of engines of three supercars that began to be seen in the near end of the street, they sped thru traffic
elegantly, taking the breath of everyone that set sight on such impressive and luxurious machines.
"Whoa! Those are nice" said Tai who was known to be an enthusiast of automobiles

On the front was titanium colored Aston Martin, it was tailed by a silver McLaren and on the front was the most expensive and powerful of the three, a black Zenvo
ST1 that blared music from its interior thru the lowered windows. The first two automobiles entered the parking lot taking the attention of everyone present, the
tinted windows made it impossible to see who was behind the wheel; the third car however, entered the premises with the music playing at an even higher volume.

The first two cars parked in a straight line as if it were a car show, the third car stopped for a minute as if to observe the small audience that was looking at him
intently, he made the engine roar louder and passed in front of the destined who looked beyond surprised. If the king of darkness was driving the Zenvo, then they
knew who was driving the McLaren and the Aston Martin, Davis parked at the side of his angels and closed his windows leaving nothing for sight, he exited the vehicle
with the class of a Victorian noble and began to walk towards the destined and their families.
Kari watched as Davis walked towards them with an air of superiority and confidence, he looked beyond handsome she admitted, all the girls looked at him with
hungry eyes, he was dressed in black slacks and boots which he accompanied with a Victorian style dress coat that seemed to be very expensive from the look of the
accessories that it possessed.
"Good evening Hikari" he said to her first and then turned to the rest of the people present "Ladies, gentlemen"
"Hey, what's up?" asked Ken trying to sound normal so that the tension could dissipate
"Oh nothing much, I just came here for some entertainment, by the way it is a pleasure to see you again, Mr. and Mrs. Ichijouji"
"Young man, have we meet before, you seem familiar" asked Mrs. Ichijouji while the rest of the destined nervously looked at Davis expecting him to snap
"Ah yes, I'm Davis, I can understand that I may not be as easily identified, I grew up I guess"
The rest of the parents looked at the destined of darkness in surprise and couldn't believe their eyes, they knew who Davis was, the leader that guided their children
into the last battle, he was the goofy kid that always failed his tests and thought about crazy ideas all the time, but this time he looked different. He was muscular,
his eyes were cold and calculative but still retained humanity, his hair had grown from a spiky mess to a long black curtain that shielded his face from the world, he
had changed alright.
"I know that my foster family has probably told you that I have run away or that I was sent to another place to live, that was a lie but everything will be revealed in
the right moment" he said as he looked at Haruto who still looked at him trying to decipher his looks
"YOU MOTHERFUCKER!" yelled Haruto suddenly "IT WAS YOU"
Everyone looked from Haruto over to Davis who calmly took a step forward and asked with faked innocence
"What is it that you mean, Mr. Motomiya?"
"YOU KNOW PERFECTLY WELL WHAT I MEAN! I SPENT DAYS IN THE HOSPITAL BECAUSE OF IT!"
Jun looked scared out of her mind and pulled her father's shirt as a sign for him to stop "Dad, stop it, you don't-"but she couldn't finish because she was interrupted
by Haruto once again
"IM GOING TO TEACH THIS BRAT A LESSON!" he said as he advanced on Davis and grabbed his collar
The chosen of darkness didn't make a move to stop his former guardian, from the corner of his eye he looked at the destined and their families who stood frozen in
the scene; he then lifted his right hand. Everyone expected him to attack Haruto or even kill him but instead of that, he snapped his fingers. Three voices were heard
and each one sent a defining message to the ones who dared touch the king
"I suggest you let go of our master, or I will have to dispose of you"
"My lord will not be harmed by the likes of you; I will make sure of that"
"Kind sir, I serve the king of darkness, he is my king and I am his loyal servant, I ask you to rethink your actions and let him go or else I shall be forced to act upon
you"
It seems that Haruto still needs to learn some manners, now that Wisemon and the angels have stepped into the fight. how will they react? What
plan does Davis have on his mind? Will the sovereigns get to Lily?
