Chapter 36 – Will This Feeling Ever Fade?
Even when he woke up, her words were still playing around in his head, no matter how hard he tried to push them away.
Vegeta had always been one to pride himself on the fact he was emotionless, that he could detach himself from things that would make weaker men want to end their lives. He was a monster, the perfect warrior. Things like petty emotions and feelings and… and love… just didn't exist to him.
But if they didn't, why were her words bothering him so much?
Was it because she hadn't even expected a reply? Was it because, in her mind, those words didn't need saying back to her? Of course, Vegeta knew that he cared for Bulma – he wasn't a complete moron after all – but love? Yes, he could see himself spending the rest of his life with this woman and yes, he would do everything and anything to protect her… but could he love her? Because if he couldn't, Vegeta knew that it would destroy her. Whilst Bulma tried to be just as emotionless as him, because of their bond, Vegeta could see right through her. He could see into her mind, read her thoughts and relive her memories. Hell, sometimes, they even had the same dreams as one another because of their bond!
Whether it was just something she had said during the heat of the moment, or something she didn't even know she had said… it didn't change the fact her words were affecting him. It didn't change the fact that she had said them and now he couldn't get them out of his head. Normally, Vegeta would have snapped at her and told the woman that he was a warrior, he didn't need pointless things such as love and that love was a weakness. However, given the fact that she wouldn't have said those three words unless she meant them, even if she spoke them without knowing she had, Vegeta knew she was serious and it would hurt her if he did.
What the hell was he supposed to do now?
"You don't have to do anything." A tired voice spoke softly before being accompanied by a yawn and some stretching. After stretching, Bulma moved slightly so that she was resting her head on Vegeta's chest, her eyes were still closed and she inhaled his scent before she spoke again. "I don't need you to tell me you love me Vegeta." When there was no reply, Bulma sighed and lifted her head to look at him. Vegeta was watching her, his eyes a fraction wider than usual, obviously surprised that she had heard his thoughts since she was supposed to be asleep. "I remember what you said and I've seen your memories, Vegeta. I know why you don't believe in love." He frowned at her words. "It won't change how I feel… but knowing that I mean something to you, knowing that you care for me… that's enough for me."
His frown only deepened as his confusion grew. "Why?"
"Why would I accept that you'll never say those words?" When he nodded, Bulma smiled and shuffled closer so that their lips were almost touching. "It's because I've seen your memories, read your thoughts. I feel your emotions and feelings as though they're my own. Vegeta… you care for me more than you've ever cared for any woman. You bonded with me, doesn't that say enough?" Pressing her forehead against his, Bulma once again smiled. "If you didn't care for me, or plan to stay with me, then you wouldn't have bonded with me.
"I know how seriously you Saiyans take things like that. I know that if you're going to bond with someone, you have to be one hundred percent sure that you're going to be with them for the rest of your lives. You can't break a bond between mates, even in death." Her smile faded slightly as a sad look entered her eyes. "It's why Bardock is so lonely… it's why he hasn't been with a woman since Kakarot and Raditz's mother died. Even if he never told me, I could tell that he loved her more than anything and he still does."
Vegeta leaned his head back against the headboard and looked up at the ceiling. "I know."
Leaning up and pressing her lips against his, Bulma smiled and decided to change the subject. "Considering how bright it is outside, I'm guessing we overslept, right?" He tightened his hold around her waist and returned her kiss before nodding. "I suppose work and training could wait a little longer?"
Her only answer was Vegeta changing their positions so that he was hovering over Bulma with her legs wrapped around his waist.
Would this feeling ever change, the feeling of needing to be close to one another, to touch each other, to feel their bodies moving as one? Both of them hoped that it wouldn't. Sure, it made getting things done pretty hard work, but it was worth it. They would be so in sync. The feeling of having someone to call your own would be so strong, that they could feel it bringing every fibre in their bodies alive.
As Vegeta lowered himself fully against Bulma, she closed her eyes and allowed herself to just feel, enjoying every touch and every feeling made.
With his kisses, Vegeta promised that he would always fight for her.
With his caresses, he swore to always be there for her.
With his eyes, he vowed that he would always cherish her.
"Bulma?"
Bulma looked up from the control panel she was working on to the person who had called her name. She didn't need to look, she would know his voice anywhere, but Bulma felt kind of bad about giving Kakarot the cold shoulder. With a small smile, she put down her tools and replied. "I was just about to contact you."
Her heart clenched at the happy grin that lit up Kakarot's face. Had her anger really upset him? Had her ignoring him really hurt him? Bardock had told her that it hurt Kakarot whenever she acted in such a way with him, but at the time, Bulma had been too upset to care.
"Really?"
She nodded quickly and motioned with her head for him to come in. As he sat down, it was more than obvious he was being careful not to knock the table or break anything. The sight almost made her laugh. One time, back when they were younger, she had been working on some project. Kakarot had burst into the room, looking for her for their training session. When he had literally tried to drag her away from her work, her creation had fallen to the ground and the sensitive microchips had been broken, whilst even smaller parts broke off and disappeared under various pieces of equipment and counters. To say that she had been angry would be an understatement. Actually, Bulma was sure Kakarot still had the scars from where she had beaten him with her broken creation.
"Yeah," Bulma pushed away from the table and walked over to one of her drawers, "I needed to talk to you about something."
Kakarot watched her as she opened the drawers and started looking through them. "Is everything okay?"
With a sigh, Bulma shook her head. "No, Kakarot. Everything is not okay."
"What's wrong?"
His voice was more serious now, but it was also tinged with worry and fear. She knew that if she turned around, he would be tense. Bulma couldn't exactly blame him for his reaction. The tone of her voice wasn't exactly calming. It sounded like she was tired, but also like she was angry and defiant all into one. Turning around to face him, Bulma looked at him with serious eyes. "I want you to undo the ritual."
"I can't." Kakarot's eyes flashed angrily, but he managed to keep the anger out of his voice.
Raising a hand to her temples, Bulma sighed once again. "I'm not asking, Kakarot. Undo the ritual. I don't care how it's done nor how you have to do it, just do it. Undo it and then… I don't know… redo it for Chi-Chi or something."
"I can't."
This time, his voice was harder, like he was trying to stress a point. With a frown, Bulma looked at him. Dread and unease was curling around her stomach, making it twist. "Why?"
Kakarot looked down at the table for a couple of moments to try and calm himself before looking back at Bulma. Like his voice, his eyes were silently stressing to get his point across. Seeing the look made Bulma unconsciously straighten up, knowing that this was his 'no nonsense' look. Even though she was angry with him, Bulma knew that if he was wearing that particular look, he was deadly serious. "It's impossible." He told her with a sigh. "When I did the ritual, Bulma, I did it because I was in love with you. I did it because I thought that we would one day be bonded mates."
There was a deep, possessive growl in Bulma's mind when her mate heard Kakarot's words, but she tried her best to calm Vegeta. "Why is it impossible?"
"Usually, when a Saiyan does the ritual, it is to protect their mate. When you're bonded, the bond is unbreakable, just like the ritual."
Bulma sat back in her seat and folded her arms on the table before placing her head in her arms. "You're such an idiot." She mumbled just loud enough for the Saiyan to hear her. "Why would you do something like that?"
"I already told you." Kakarot sighed. "When we were younger, I thought I would bond with you. I did the ritual so that I could always protect you…" His voice dropped low as his head lowered slightly. "…I also did it… because I knew the risks. I knew that if you died… then so would I."
Her head snapped up as her wide eyes stared at Kakarot in shock. "You…"
Kakarot averted his eyes. "Yes." Then, he looked back at her with pleading features. "Bulma, when we were younger, I thought that I couldn't live without you! It hurt just to think about it. I knew that if I did the ritual, I would always be able to protect you and if I failed, then I would die with you." His features became pained as he looked down at the table between them. "I've seen the pain of losing your mate because of my father. I didn't want to ever have to go through something like that."
"Pathetic," Vegeta's voice growled in Bulma's mind. "A true Saiyan would avenge their mate, not take a coward's way out!"
"Kakarot…" Bulma whispered, her eyes watering. "You should have at least waited until you were older to do the ritual. That way… after you slept with me… you would have realised you don't love me that way, that we would never be bonded mates."
His eyes narrowed angrily. "Bulma, it wasn't because I slept with you that I realised that." He told her. "That night was one of the best nights of my life because I got to see a side of you nobody had ever seen before. You were so open, so carefree and so happy. It made me happy just seeing you that way." There was a brief pause as he frowned. "It was the moment I saw Chi-Chi that I realised my feelings."
Again, there was more growling in Bulma's mind and she had to inwardly yell at Vegeta to be quiet. His possessive growls were making it hard to hear and think. Not to mention they were also giving her a headache! "Kakarot," She began, her voice tired, "if you can't undo the ritual, then I at least want you to back off a little." At his confused and hurt look, she continued quickly. "I don't mean I want you to go away, I just want you to trust me more. I want you all to believe in me again like you did before I was diagnosed." Bulma forced back her tears as she glared at him. "Vegeta, despite his arrogant and proud personality, has been doing everything he can to make me happy. He trusts me and believes in me. Your son has more trust in me than you do. Do you know how much that hurts?"
"I'm sorry." He told her quietly. "It wasn't my decision to take you off of the mission board. It's up to my father, your parents, Turles and some of the other older, more experienced warriors. They're worried that you might not be able to handle the responsibility." His features became pleading and desperate as he leaned forward. "Please Bulma if you just take your medication, then you might be able to come on missions with me again! I don't want to be paired up with anyone else. You always have been and always will be my partner!"
She shook her head. "Kakarot, it's not only medication that can help bipolar."
Kakarot frowned in confusion as he leaned back slightly. "What do you mean?"
"Well… haven't you realised something?" Bulma asked him as she raised her eyebrows. When he simply stared at her, Bulma groaned with annoyance. "Since I bonded with Vegeta, my mood swings and episodes haven't been so bad, have they?"
Now that he thought about it, it was true. They hadn't been that bad. In fact, the only bad thing that happened recently, was when Bulma had barged into the meeting unannounced and yelled at them all before running out of the room in tears. Even then, compared to her past outbursts and mood swings, it wasn't that bad. His eyes lit up with happiness as he grinned. "Vegeta has been helping you!" Kakarot all but cheered. "I knew he wasn't really a bad guy! I told you, didn't I?"
Bulma chuckled softly as Vegeta's mind was stunned into silence. Then, when Vegeta huffed with annoyance before completely ignoring Bulma and Kakarot, her chuckles grew.
"You should tell them!" Kakarot said excitedly, his whole face filled with his happiness. "Tell them that because of Vegeta, you're better! Tell them that you can come on missions with me again."
"Kakarot," Bulma spoke slowly, her brows furrowing, "I can't tell them that. If I do, then they'll know what Vegeta has done."
He frowned. "What do you mean?"
Trying to find a way to put her thoughts into sentences, Bulma bit her lip in concentration before sighing. It was hard to explain and it made it even harder since she was trying to explain it to Kakarot. He wasn't exactly one of the smartest people, after all. "You know when you bonded with Chi-Chi? You both… you shared everything with one another, didn't you?" At his slow nod, Bulma continued. "Well… when Vegeta bonded with me, he did it knowing that he would pretty much split my illness in half."
"You mean…"
At his wide eyes and shocked expression, Bulma nodded. "He's just like me now. For me, Vegeta has taken on half of my illness. I didn't even know until the day you woke up, I just thought I was in between episodes or something. I asked him about it and Vegeta immediately told me to be quiet. That's how I found out he did it."
"Is that even possible? But why would he do that? Wouldn't that affect him in battle?"
Biting her lip once again, Bulma looked down at the table. "When you were unconscious, Kakarot, I did something stupid." Her lower lip started to tremble as she glared at the table in front of her. Kakarot's eyes on her felt like thousands were staring at her, listening to her story. "Vegeta and I got into an argument. It wasn't like our usual arguments either… it was a pretty serious one. I guess it was kind of my fault that I reacted so strongly, since I had pretty much avoided everyone and stopped going out as much.
"I thought that nobody cared about me. I thought that Vegeta didn't care about me." A humourless chuckle escaped her quivering lips as a single tear slipped down her cheek. "He told me that to him, love was a weakness, so I told him that out of love, you and my family wanted me to take my medication, so that I won't do anything I might regret or do something stupid. He told me that I should take my medication." A small smile graced her lips as she looked unseeingly at the table. "It wasn't until after I realised that, by saying that, in his own way, Vegeta had been telling me that he cares about me.
"But at the time, I was too angry to care about trying to see passed his words. So instead, I grabbed my medication and started to empty the packets down the sink. I can't remember exactly what happened after that… but I can remember that I… that I started to take all of the tablets. That I was screaming and yelling at Vegeta." Her face felt like it was burning as she felt Kakarot's glare on her face, but she kept her eyes averted. "He got so annoyed when I refused to spit them out that he literally shoved his fingers down my throat and forced me to throw up. Vegeta held me when my legs became too weak to keep standing. He made sure that every trace of my medication was out of my system before finally letting me go."
By now, her tears were coming faster. "I was so disgusted and angry with myself afterwards, but…" Again, a small smile played along her lips. "It was that night Vegeta and I bonded. I was able to see into his mind… and when I realised he had split my illness in half… I saw that he did it because that day, I had scared him. By almost killing myself, I had scared Vegeta so much that he decided to bond with me, to show me in his own way that he does care." There was a brief pause as Bulma finally looked up at Kakarot, trying to ignore the angry look in his tear filled eyes. "That's why I can't tell anyone, Kakarot. It's because if they know how much Vegeta cares, somebody might use it against him. The traitor who infiltrated headquarters… we completely trusted him and he was so high in the ranks. What if someone else is a traitor and they're present when I told them that? They would tell Frieza and if he decides to pay a visit, Vegeta will lose yet another person he cares about!
"If I never go on missions or be trusted by you all again, just to keep him safe from that pain, then I'll do it." Her features became pleading as she leaned forward. "All I ask of you is to stop with the lies. Lately I've been looking at Gohan as though he's my own son. I love that kid, Kakarot. I love him as though he's my own. When you told me that he wanted me to teach him because he looked up to me, it made me so happy." More tears fell from her eyes. "Then, to find out that it was all a lie… to find out that you had used Gohan against me…" She couldn't even finish her sentence. Her eyes filled with anger as Bulma forced herself to look away from Kakarot. She didn't want to end up hitting him. "I'm sure you've realised by now why Vegeta was so hard on you during your sparring sessions?"
Realisation dawned on Kakarot as he thought back. "He felt everything you did."
Bulma nodded. "My sadness… my betrayal… my anger… he felt it all as though it was his own. But… that night I found out… he came home and told me that I would be tested or something. He said that you, his squadron and I, would be going on a mission together in one month's time."
Kakarot took a deep breath before nodding. "Yeah, about half an hour after you left, Vegeta barged into the room, looking almost as pissed as you did." He scratched his head with a sheepish smile. "I've never seen Raditz look so scared before, especially when Vegeta was glaring at him! He actually pulled rank on us all and demanded you to be given another chance. It was obvious my dad didn't want to argue with him, but he had little choice." Kakarot frowned. "Bulma, we didn't want you to go on missions because we thought you might not be able to handle it. Back when we were kids, even though I was also affected by killing or seeing purged planets, you would shut yourself off. You would cry yourself to sleep and have awful nightmares. We didn't want you to have to suffer through more than what you already do."
She gave him a small smile. "I'm stronger than you think, Kakarot." When he was about to argue, she silenced him with a glare. "I have Vegeta's mind inside of my own, remember? I have his strength, pride and arrogance as well as my own." Kakarot still didn't look convinced. Sighing, Bulma tried again. "Vegeta has been through a lot Kakarot. I know this because I've seen his memories. He's so strong." She told him with a proud smile. "Not just physically either. With him, I feel like I can do anything. He makes me feel so powerful and protected."
"He didn't put any walls up between your minds?"
Shaking her head, Bulma smiled. "No. He said 'what's the point in bonding with someone if you keep things from them?' when I asked him why." Kakarot frowned at her words. "Vegeta's right, Kakarot, that's why I haven't put any walls up either. He's seen into my head and I've seen into his."
"Maybe people put up walls to protect their mate." He argued, his brows furrowing with each passing second.
Bulma sighed as she pushed away from the table and walked back over to the drawer she had been looking through. Grabbing what she needed, Bulma then turned around and returned to the table. "Believe what you want, Kakarot. It's your opinion and even though Vegeta and I believe different, we can't change that." Whilst he looked momentarily stunned that Bulma was trying to stop an argument before it even happened, she held out a bracelet to him. "Here. It's the gravity simulator I was talking about when you first woke up."
"You finished them?"
She couldn't help but smile at the proud, gigantic grin on Kakarot's face. "Yeah, where do you think Vegeta is right now? He's been training for about five hours in fifty times the gravity of this planet." Her features became angered and annoyed as she glared down at the bracelet. "That jerk is going to end up killing himself! I knew I should've set up some sort of lock on his gravity enhancer."
Kakarot chuckled sheepishly as he slowly took his gravity simulator out of Bulma's shaking hands. As much as he wanted to comfort her, he was really looking forward to his new training regime. "Come on, B!" Kakarot smiled once his bracelet was safe. "Vegeta knows his limits." Before she could argue, he put on his bracelet and looked at it curiously. "So how does it work?"
Rolling her eyes at the not so subtle subject change, Bulma gave him a simple explanation on how it worked, what buttons did what and the risks of touching other people. Kakarot had seemed a little disappointed that he would have to switch it off every time he came into contact with someone and to that, Bulma had slapped him upside the head and told him to be grateful he even had a gravity simulator at all considering how mad she had been with him.
"I'm really sorry." Kakarot told her as he looked down at the ground.
"Stop trying to act so cute and innocent, Kakarot, that stopped working a long time ago!"
His shoulders slumped as he sighed with defeat. Then, Kakarot gave her a small smile. "I really am sorry though."
"I know." Her voice was nothing more than a whisper before she cleared her throat. "Just know that even though you're my best friend and I love you, you don't have unlimited chances. If you hurt me like this again Kakarot…" Once again, Bulma cleared her throat to try and stop her voice from shaking. "I won't be able to stop Vegeta from seriously harming you next time. The only thing that stopped him from actually killing you is me. If it weren't for me and the fact that you and I are…" Bulma couldn't find the words to end her sentence and instead decided on changing it. "He really would have killed you, Kakarot. I don't want him to do that and I don't want either of you to get hurt because of me."
It didn't seem as though the threat of Vegeta killing him actually bothered Kakarot, but he still nodded in agreement. "I promise I will never betray your trust in me or hurt you again."
God she hated meetings. They were always so boring, especially when the elder warriors droned on and on about nothing important. On more than one occasion, Bulma had had to be stopped from screaming at them. She wasn't even sure why, but they all annoyed her to no end. Bardock and Turles, she didn't mind, but the others?
Don't even get her started.
At the head of the table sat an even more annoyed Vegeta. He had been in the middle of his new training when a messenger had told him that there would be a meeting. Because he had wasted so much time already that day – mainly due to that infernal woman of his – Vegeta had tried to get out of attending, since he already knew what it would be about, but it seemed impossible. He was told that he had to attend. Through their bond, Bulma had told him just to keep his gravity simulator on if it bothered him that much. Nobody would even be able to tell unless it was an obvious strain on his body or, if they were complete and utter idiots, tried to touch him.
"Miss Briefs."
Bulma's head snapped up as her name was called. The man addressing her was around Bardock and Turles's age but the years had not been so kind to him like it had them. His head was balding and he had dark circles under his eyes as well as wrinkles, but other than that, it wasn't too bad, she supposed. Trying not to show her annoyance, Bulma simply decided to remain neutral as she answered, "Yes, Hayato?"
"This mission will be a test for you, but that does not mean that it won't be just as serious as any other mission." Hayato told her seriously, his eyes narrowing ever so slightly. "You, Kakarot, Raditz, Nappa and Prince Vegeta will be going into the Cold Empire to where we received a distress call not so long ago. It had taken a while for the message to come through, given everything that has happened as of late, but we have reason to believe that the stranded warriors in need of our help are still alive." There was a brief pause as his eyes narrowed further. "Will you be able to handle this mission?"
Taking a deep breath to stop her from yelling at the old man that she was more than able to handle it, Bulma nodded once. "I will."
Hayato seemed to not believe her, but before he could say anything, Vegeta spoke with an annoyed tone. "The woman won't mess up."
Kakarot nodded in agreement, as did Raditz and Nappa. The latter surprised Bulma, but she couldn't stop the smile that made its way to her lips as she looked at the four Saiyans. Kakarot was smiling encouragingly at her; Raditz had his usual smirk on his face whilst Nappa and Vegeta looked deadly serious, as though daring Hayato to question their judgements.
To save an argument breaking out, Bardock decided that it was time he took control of the meeting, shooting Hayato a warning glare as the warrior muttered under his breath.
"Vegeta, I need to speak with you for a moment." Bulma said as people start to file out of the room one after another. Several stopped and turned to look at her, but were quickly sent on their way as she glared at them.
Kakarot watched the others leave before turning to face Bulma. "Anything I can do to help? You're all tensed and stuff."
Damn it. Sometimes she really hated that ritual. Actually, she always hated that ritual. It was embarrassing to know that Kakarot could tell she was sexually frustrated. "You can't help Kakarot." Bulma spoke in a firm voice.
"Why?" It was then that he seemed to sense what she was trying to hint at as his eyes widened dramatically. "Oh…" A faint blush coloured his cheeks as he took a step backwards and waved his hands in front of him. "Oh! Well… don't let me keep you… um… from… you know…"
Vegeta rolled his eyes and clenched his fists. "Just get out, idiot!"
Because of their bond, Vegeta was feeling equally as frustrated as Bulma was. It was weird since they had been together just this morning, but they didn't care. To put it simply, they just couldn't get enough of each other. It was like one time wasn't enough – they had to do it another couple of times. Even then, they weren't always satisfied. It was like an endless hunger that can never be sated and it was maddening.
Kakarot sheepishly smiled, chuckled and waved his hand before turning around and all but running from the room. Behind him, both Vegeta and Bulma were watching his back with annoyed eyes. It didn't help their annoyance when the door was left open. A second later, however, Kakarot returned and mumbled an apology before closing it.
The door didn't have a lock.
Vegeta stayed seated in his place at the head of the table, waiting for his woman to make the first move over to him. His arms were rested on the sides of his chair, itching to be wrapped around her. He had already switched off his gravity simulator and removed his gloves; he had taken them off as soon as Kakarot had shut the door out of respect for his mate. After all, what sort of mate has sex with his woman whilst wearing the gloves he wore for killing and fighting? Well, unless you were into that kind of thing…
The Prince was brought out of his thoughts as Bulma started to move towards him. Like the night before, each step seemed torturously slow, making her hips dip. The biting of her lower lip gained his attention immediately. He could think of other things her lips could be doing. She raised one hand slowly, reaching behind her head and removing her hair-tie. As she shook out her hair, Vegeta eyes moved to the now hip-length hair that he just wanted to run his fingers through. Again, his fingers, hands and arms twitched with the need to reach out and touch her, to feel her.
When she finally reached him, Vegeta was already painfully hard. What the hell was she doing to him? He had never wanted, needed, a woman so badly before in his life!
Before she could sit down on his lap, Vegeta shot up out of his seat and pushed her backwards until she sat down on the table. Bulma didn't even have time to gasp as his lips attacked her neck savagely whilst his hands moved to her outfit. As much as he would rather rip them all off, Vegeta simply lifted her skirt around her hips and impatiently pulled her underwear down her legs as Bulma's breathing turned into desperate pants and her hips bucked, telling him she was feeling the exact same need as he was.
He made quick work of removing his armour and pushing his jumpsuit down until it was below his hips, revealing to her his toned abs, many, many scars and his erection as it stood proudly, almost as though it was waiting for her. At the sight of his body being revealed to her, Bulma squirmed in her place before shooting forward and pulling him against her. Her lips found his and they entered a desperate, hungry kiss as their tongues battled for dominance. Vegeta's hands moved over to her hips before grasping a tight hold of her and bringing her forward, closer to him, making Bulma moan against his mouth at the feeling of him pressing against her, at the thought of finally having this hunger satisfied before it drove her crazy.
The way he took her was almost animalistic. The pace at which he moved his hips against hers, the way his breathing sounded more like growls, the way one of his hands were holding her thigh whilst the other arm was wrapped around her shoulders…
…it was amazing.
Beneath them the table shook so hard that she honestly thought the legs were going to break. However, she doubted that they would barely even notice it if it did. Even if they fell to the ground, the way their bodies were reacting to one another… she knew they would just continue and not care about the table.
The hand holding her thigh lifted it higher as he joined her on the table and lowered her down onto it. His grip grew tighter at the new angle, it allowed him to hit deeper, making her cry out with every thrust. When his teeth grazed her throat, one set of Bulma's nails raked down his back whilst the other dug into his shoulder, encouraging him to continue as she felt her orgasm claiming her. Her hips lifted to his desperately, causing their skin to make a slapping sound whilst the table started to groan and shake dangerously beneath them.
Suddenly it felt like an intense heat exploded within her, almost bursting out of her as she threw her head back with a loud cry of pleasure, not even feeling it as her head slammed hard against the table. The feeling of her pulsating and tightening around him caused Vegeta's thrusts to falter and his entire body tensed and shuddered as he fell into oblivion with her, completely emptying himself inside of his beautiful mate.
They stayed unmoving for a couple of moments as they tried to catch their breaths before Bulma slowly loosened her hold on Vegeta's shoulder, wincing when she spotted the blood on and under her nails. She hadn't meant to hold him so hard… perhaps she should cut her nails? Through their bond, Bulma could tell that Vegeta felt no pain from her apparently sharp nails. Also, through their bond, she could feel that there had never been a moment when she had been holding too tightly, only moments where he wanted her to tighten her hold, to make her mark on him and being pleased when she did.
"Do you think this feeling will ever fade?"
Vegeta lifted his head from the crook of her neck and looked at her, his eyes burning into hers as he smirked. "Can't handle it?"
Bulma rolled her eyes. Trust that jerk to be so arrogant! "I'm sure you've already realised that I'm more than capable of handling it, Vegeta." She returned his smirk before looking down at his lips and back into his eyes. "What I'm asking is… is this… hunger ever going to fade? Even now, even though we've literally just had sex, I can feel the need burning up inside of me again. And I can feel it growing inside of you too."
"Do you want it to fade?"
"Not one bit." Bulma whispered as she pulled his head closer and captured his lips with her own.
A/N – Do you want to know what I love doing? I love annoying my neighbours. They're always waking me up at stupid times and it takes me so long to actually get to sleep. So I always play my music really loud and sing along at the top of my voice – especially to 30 Seconds to Mars. If I'm in the right mood, I even do the little scream-y parts. My favourite 30 Seconds to Mars song to sing to is probably either 'A Beautiful Lie', 'From Yesterday' or 'Hurricane'. Oh God it annoys them like you wouldn't even believe and it is hilarious. The only bad thing about it is my throat is absolutely killing me.
PS – Jared Leto is beautiful.
That is all.

"We leave in an hour, woman."
She had felt more than heard his words due to her head resting on his chest and Bulma sighed before releasing an "Mm-hm."
They were currently led in bed, just simply lying there and listening to the sounds of each other's breathing and heartbeat. It was a comfortable silence, one that didn't need to be filled with idle conversation and neither of them wanted to destroy the moment. It was a pretty long moment, one that had lasted for well over three hours now, but neither of them cared enough to move. It felt like they didn't have the energy to move even if they wanted to.
