HAPPY NEW YEAR!
Man, the last December has sucked for me! With my job getting more antsy around the holidays, I had to take off writing to train and focus helping the needy. And it felt so good to do it, too. Tough, but great. Anyway, because of how things went down let me tell you this...
Forget what I said about the "Next Time" bit, because I'm ending this arc right now! That's right, three duels and a lot to talk about! Especially since I skipped on a detail of Syrus' deck, ending Ileana's side arc, and ending with a Special kind of duel at the end. Please give me some details if it was not to your liking, so I'd make it better or avoid it in the future.

Chapter 34: The Home Stretch
Inside the sewers, everyone that was left behind and not turned into a Zombie Duelist was present after Jesse got the Rainbow Dragon card from their home dimension. In spite of the near-threatening experience they suffered, they were in high spirits from various reasons: Melody and Allyson were happy to be reunited with Claudio and Jaden respectively, everyone was happy that Chazz was freed from his run as a Zombie Duelist, but also, more on Jesse, was ecstatic that the Rainbow Dragon was sent here.
"I can't believe it," Jesse said, still staring at his newly acquired card, "Rainbow Dragon is finally here!"
"We're happy for you, too, Jesse," Valencia noted, patting him on the back.
"And especially meaning that you can bring out your full potential," Crystal added with a smile.
"And that will get us home, right?" Jeremy wondered.
"Oh, it will..." Alex boasted. "Just fire up that dragon and let the dimension crossing commence!"
"Hang on," Lily interjected, "You're forgetting one major detail..."
Alexis realized it, "Everyone else is not back to normal. And if we ended up back there, we'll have a major crisis unless we can find out how to shut down those Bio-Bands!"
The Gemini Duelist winced, "Damn, sorry I wasn't thinking..."
"However," Bastion interjected, "We don't think that just summoning the Rainbow Dragon is enough; if it were, the moment it saved us from that horde could have brought us back by now."
"Meaning we have to find out how to use it..." Kenshin figured. "And also to stop Marcel, Xiu Zhen, and Jachin..."
"And it's going to be difficult," Jaden sighed, "They have the Sacred Beast cards... Claudio and I couldn't stop them..."
"It's not your fault," Allyson assured him, taking his hand, "You had your hands full staying out of the Zombie Duelists' clutches."
"She's right, Sarge," Hassleberry added, "Besides, you, Claudio, and Kenji beat them before in your first year and you can do it again!"
"Only because we had Professor Banner's card," Claudio interjected, "We couldn't have done it without that time, and that was just Kagemaru wielding all three at once. And if I right, they each have one of those monsters and that means they could actually summon them on their first turns if they create their decks right."
"But you guys have new cards as well," Melody stated, "So, I wouldn't worry too much since you know how the Sacred Beasts work as well."
"Meaning we get our hands dirty," Kenji smirked, "As long as we got each others' backs, nothing to worry about."
"Yeah, but how do we find those three," Chazz wondered, "Every time we see them, they manage to slip away..."
Soon, some feedback from the intercom came in as the answer to their question finally answered...
[Hello everyone!] Marcel announced [I must applaud those who are still able to comprehend this for evading the Zombie Duelists. But now the game is over, and we will have to settle this once and for all.]
[Jaden, Claudio, and one other guest will meet us in front of Duel Academy for a six-person tag duel!] Jacinth challenged next, shocking everyone.
"A three on three tag duel!?" Atticus asked, "That's unheard of!"
"It's so that they can get to use all three Sacred Beast cards separately," Bastion deduced, "Like Claudio thought..."
The Shadow continued, [You win, and my partners will release everyone from their torment as Zombie Duelists. But should you fail... let's just say, I'll have a lot of sources when I need energy to sustain myself and keep my other inside his own head] He then laughed darkly, making some shudder as they had the idea of what he meant.
Hearing that, Chazz snarled and nearly shook with rage that even Sam looked on in concern, despite wanting to vent out her rage in this...
[Now, now,] Xiu Zhen interrupted [We have to at least give them a fighting chance. Boys, you have only 30 minutes to choose your third duelist and make it to the dueling sight, or we will give all of your friends that are Zombie Duelists to my friend here... and he's quite hungry for energy! So don't disappoint... Jaden, because I've been waiting years for this moment!] She added seductively.
[And I can't wait to subject Claudio to 10 years of torture after his part on my disappearance!] Marcel snarled, confusing Claudio, [I say forget the 30 minutes! But we have to make it difficult... just get here, Claudio!] Soon, static came over the intercom and left everyone to ponder on those words.
"They're not giving us a choice," Jim said.
"Yeah, it's all or nothing this time," Yuri added.
"So what's the plan," Jesse asked Jaden and Claudio.
The Hero duelist looked to each other and nodded as Jaden said, "If they want a duel, they got one!"
"And it's long overdue if they threatening everyone's lives," Claudio added.
"Then we need to get up there and knock down those Sacred Beast again," Kenji stated.
"Wait a second," Bastion interrupted, "We need to use the Rainbow Dragon's energy to get us home, and to do that we need Jesse to go." He then started looking at his Duel Pilot and used a stylus to write and move some things around. "Now, Eisenstein may not have said this but I have it figured out. Since we need the Rainbow Dragon's energy, the best way to use it is in a duel where the abilities can be put to work."
Jesse looked over the card's effects and gasped, "Yeah, one of the effects increases its ATK!"
"That is something we're going to need," Axel figured, "Because I know in some way, the Sacred Beasts can do the same thing..."
Fidel snapped his fingers, "And it's that reason we need to use Rainbow Dragon; if that big muchacho can match their strength, especially with increase, we can get everyone home."
"But you all have to be careful," Melody warned them, "Since they're putting that stipulation up, I'd say they know where we are and do everything to stop us." She then put a determined look, "Which is why any monster or any Zombie Duelist in the way of Claudio, Jaden, or Jesse, we'll knock them down!"
Allyson grumbled, "I really want to get at Xiu Zhen; talking to Jaden like he's her property!" She then frowned, "But with one of the Sacred Beasts, I'd probably get in the way..."
"Don't say that," Jaden assured her, placing his hands on her shoulders, "If I wanted you away, I would have said so. It's cool that you're doing your part protecting me." He then gave her a smile that made her heart jump, "Besides, I thought we made it clear that I love you." Hearing that Allyson immediately kissed him on the spot, shocking the Slifer before he relaxed and returned the favor...
Reyna sighed happily, "My big bro has finally grown up... Never thought I'd hear those words coming from his mouth..."
"Glad to see that my little sis chose well," Jesse smiled.
"Yeah, makes me wonder if that's really this Slacker," Chazz muttered, until Sam slapped the back of his head, "What's that for!?"
"People can change, Princeton," the Gusta Duelist reprimanded, "You just have to have some sense, which everyone does!"
"Alright, enough with the mushy and humor stuff," Alex interrupted, activating his Duel Disk and looking over the left side path to see some Zombie Duelists coming his way, "We got some company coming over to play..."
"Over here, too," Lily shouted as she heard some Zombie Duelists approaching as well. "And I bet there over on the middle path..."
"Yup," Jeremy nodded, activating his Duel Disk to see more Duelists coming in, "So it looks like we have to fight our way out of this!"
"Lucky for us, I learned a little something from Riggs and Lars during my summer that will boost the powers of the monsters," Claudio stated as he got out his guitar. "So why you're fighting, I'll amp it up as Jaden, Jesse, and I go to the site!"
Kenji and Kenshin nodded as they got into fighting stances, "We'll try to lessen the time for you to just charge in and steal the Disks." The Ninja duelist noted. "There's going to be more resistance once we get up to higher ground."
"Alright, let's go!" Kenshin shouted as Kenji threw down a smoke ball to conceal the area. Soon, Kenji and Kenshin set to work on subduing the many Zombies and stripping them of their disks to disable them. "Everyone get to the surface, Kenji and I will stay here and stop them!"
"Just be careful," Alexis said to them.
"Got a very good reason," Kenji grinned before letting his girlfriend and his friends run off. Once they safe, the ninja and samurai prepared to summon more of their monsters; Kenji brought out Hayabusa, Ayane, and Kasumi together with Kaabii joining up while Kenshin brought Great Shogun Shien, Irou, and Yariza with Shien's Footsoldier coming out.
Together, the duelist shouted, "Attack and capture the duelists!" Pretty soon, it was a long battle ahead...
Outside Duel Academy, an explosion blasted near base of the school and from it, Jaden, Claudio, Jesse, and the rest of the gang came running out after Axel and Fidel used one of their monsters to do so. More Zombie Duelists had appeared and started to advance on Wheeler and Vincent, who stayed to protect those in the gymnasium. They used their Monkeys and Dragunity Monsters to hold them off, but against so many it was a losing fight.
"I think we should help them out before they become Zombie Duelists," Melody suggested, preparing to summon a monster.
"Hey slacker," Chazz said to Jaden, who turned to him. The black coat Slifer took out a card, and gave it to him, "If you happen find Jachin before I do, you use this card against him... With that freaky Field Spell I've heard from him, you're going to need it..."
Jaden took a look at the card, seeing that it was blank... "But..."
"Yeah, I know..." Chazz sighed, "He said it'll show itself once you're against him, so you'll just have to wait until you get to that duel."
Understanding, Jaden nodded and shuffled the card into his deck, "Thanks Chazz..."
"Let's just get this over with..."
Claudio ran on top of the barricade and summoned his Jukebox Hero Coheed Cambria, helping him boost the morale.
"Alright guys, get ready to hear the battle cry!" the J-Hero duelist shouted as he and his monster started playing. "Let's kick it up and do our part to get back home! We're all going to fight!"
(No World for Tomorrow – Coheed and Cambria)
Both duelist and Jukebox Hero started their guitars up, feeling the power build up within them and started singing...
As they reached the chorus, everyone's duel disks and decks were now glowing golden and being fed by the power of Claudio's guitar and Coheed Cambria's music. It was then everyone shouted and summoned their best monsters, aside from Jaden and Jesse of course, and soon the Zombie Duelist summoned theirs to do battle.
The monsters from both opposing sides started charging each other, doing battle with the Zombie Duelists losing most of their force. With the numbers diminished, Jaden and Jesse started running away from the battle.
Wild Monsters tried to swoop in, heading for the Hero and Crystal Beast duelists, but Axel and Fidel were already on the count with the former shooting them down and Fidel having his Metal Gear monsters along with his trusty blade in his Duel Disk to take them all down and destroy them.
Pretty soon, the small army of Blue Berets as Zombie Duelists appeared led by Crowler and Bonaparte was blocking the three and poised to attack with Ancient Gear Golem and Toy Emperor taking the front...
That was until Melody, Allyson, Jeremy, Alex, Lily, and Atticus rushed through and attacked with Dark Magician, Hino-Kagu-Tsuchi, Alien Mother, Gemini Rider Hot-Trump, and Red-Eyes Black Dragon. This gave the three of them the opening to run.
Coheed Cambria nodded to Claudio, letting him run to catch up with Jaden and Claudio and run past the fighting. However, some of the Zombie Duelists saw this and were able to leave the giant battle to head Claudio off, preparing to stop his advancement)
Claudio was not deterred, knowing he had to help Jaden and Jesse out. Instead of slowing down, he jumped into the air and with a violent strike of the guitar strings, soundwaves erupted from the instrument and made the Zombie Duelists fly to the ground. The Ra hated to do that, but he had to keep going...)
Soon, Claudio met up with Jaden and Jesse and let them continue on their way to leave the battle behind. But it was the home stretch that hindered them, before they could reach the stairs of the Field Spell known as House of Sand, Syrus jumped out of nowhere and dived straight for Jaden. "Duel me Jaden!" the little Ra shouted with that dead stare, yet a crazed grin joined it.
"No way!"
Jaden was shocked to see Reyna leaping out of nowhere and tackled Syrus away, leaving the two of them rolling down a sand hill, "Reyna!"
(End music)
"We have to go," Claudio interjected, "I don't like as much as you do, but everyone's dead if we ignore the duel!"
"He's right," Jesse added.
The Slifer sighed, "Fine..." And soon, they all ran towards the site.
Meanwhile, Reyna and Syrus had reached the end of the hill with the Slifer girl landing on top. Incensed by his inability to get to Jaden, Syrus roughly pushed her off and stood up, activating his Duel Disk. "You'll pay for getting in my way!"
Reyna stood up after getting some of the sand off her, "My brother has important things to do. But if you want a Slifer, Yuki, and a Hero Duelist as your opponent, you'll have to deal with the girl right in front of you!" She then activated her duel disk.
Both players drew their opening hands.
GAME ON!
Reyna: 8000

"I'll take the first turn," Reyna announced, drawing her sixth card, "I start with Graceful Charity, drawing three cards and discarding two." She stated, drawing her cards and then discarding two of her overall hand. "I activate Polymerization to fuse Elemental Heroes Ocean and Woodsman to Fusion Summon Absolute Zero!" She called out as two of her signature Heroes appeared in the skies and then jumped together in the fusion vortex. Soon, the snow white armored Fusion Hero appeared with his cape billowing. (8/2500/2000)
Syrus narrowed his eyes, and started looking confused.
The Silfer Girl smirked, "Right, you were expecting Terra Firma! Not this time, guy! Remember that I can use any of my Fusion Monster as long as I got the right Attribute and an Elemental Hero to go with it! So, I'll just place one card facedown to end my turn." She then inserted a facedown card into her disk, "Let's see what's going on..."
"My turn," Syrus announced, drawing his sixth card, "I summon Transformer Soundwave in attack mode!" Once the card was played, a giant, dark blue cassette player rose out of the ground. Reyna was thrown off by the symbol on the glass center: a purple, mechanical face. It then began to morph into a robot that its cassette player displayed on its chest, a silver-masked face, bulky arms and legs, with two dark blue hand cannons strapped to its shoulders. (4/1600/2200)
"Okay..." Reyna muttered, staring at the Transformer's symbol, "I think he has the bad guys of the bunch, too... Didn't expect that..."
"I activate its Special Ability, Special Summoning a Cassetticon Token!" Syrus called as Soundwave's chest opened up and out came a giant, black cassette tape. It then transformed into a wolf. (2/500/500) "This is the start of your end, Reyna! You should have had me duel, Jaden!"
"What's he thinking?" Reyna thought, "He's got no way to beat Absolute Zero!" She then shrugged. "But then again, I'm not about to wait for him to pull out a Synchro Summoning..." She then revealed her facedown card, "I activate De-Fusion to separate my Absolute Zero into the two monsters that brought him out!"
Absolute Zero vanished into a blizzard that brought out both the fish-like hero and the tree-covered hero. (4/1500/1200), (4/1000/2000) It then noted that the blizzard was picking up, with Syrus started shivering.
"S-So... c-cold," He muttered.
"Now since Absolute Zero left the field," Reyna announced, "Your monsters are about to be frostbitten by his special ability!"
"But you Special Summoned," Syrus announced, revealing another card in his hand, "I activate a Quick-Play Spell known as Demise of the Land! It allows me to play my Field Spell Card, Cybertron from my deck!" Soon, the sandy terrain became a cybernetic wasteland with puddles of dirty water. And even so, Soundwave and the Cassetticon Token were frozen solid before shattering into pixels. "I now activate Cybertron's effect; Since Soundwave went to the graveyard, I can Special Summonin Transformer Starscream in attack mode from my deck!"
Flying overhead, a grey, red, and blue F-15 Eagle jet fighter appeared behind Syrus. It then transformed into a tall robot that with a smirk upon its face. (4/1900/1600) And before Reyna could brace herself for her slip up...
"Puny heroes will now bow before the might of the powerful Starscream!" the Transformer suddenly spoke up with a cocky voice. "And soon, I'll become this world's ruler! Hahahahahaha!"
Reyna looked shocked, "He's a Duel Spirit!? He's Syrus' Duel Spirit!? Not what I expected from considering the way he acts." She then sweatdropped, 'I wonder how he'll take it once Syrus comes to his senses once this thing follows him around...'
"I then activate another Spell Card called Old Model to the Frontline," Syrus continued, "To bring back Soundwave!" He announced as the cassette Transformer reappeared. (4/1600/2200) "I then activate the Special Ability!" Then, another cassette ejected from Soundwave's chest, transforming into a black bear. (2/500/500)
'He might Synchro Summon soon and then really let me have it,' Reyna thought.
"Starscream attack Ocean!" Syrus commanded, confusing the Hero Duelist once more.
"Die Hero, die!" Starscream yelled as he launched lasers from his guns, blasting Ocean into pixels.
Reyna: 7600
Syrus: 8000
"Now watch as I gain more power from my enemies," the Decepticon continued, as a purple aura surrounded him, gathering the remaining pixels of Ocean to collect power. (4/1900-2300/1600)
"Not good," Reyna muttered.
"Soundwave attack Woodsman!" the Zombie Ra continued as the bot used its hand cannon to blow Woodsman to mulch and pixels.
Reyna: 7000
Syrus: 8000
"Token, attack directly!" the bear bot charged in and smacked Reyna, who guarded with her duel disk.
Reyna: 6500
Syrus: 8000
"I place one card facedown to end my turn." Syrus smirked, with a facedown card at his feet. "Now bring me Jaden..."
"You're sounding like a stalker, which is not you at all," Reyna announced, drawing her next card. "I summon Elemental Hero Flash in defense mode!" She stated, bringing out a Hero like Sparkman, only younger and his costume was like a bodysuit. (4/1000/1500) "I end my turn with another two facedown cards."
"My turn," Syrus announced, drawing his next card, "I special summon another Token through Soundwave!" He announced, bringing out another cassette tape with the evil symbol on it. (2/500/500) "Now I tune my 2 Level 2 Tokens with my Level 4 Soundwave!"
Reyna took a deep breath, seeing Souundwave become four Tuning Rings that surrounded the Tokens, making them four stars total.
"Now I Synchro Summon, the Transformer Megatron!"
Rising from the ground, a giant, dark silver tank appeared complete with one massive cannon on top. It then transformed giant, robot monster with red, glowing eyes carrying a laser in its right hand and then a missile launcher on its right shoulder. (8/3000/2500)
"3000 ATK!?" Reyna gasped.
"And then, I destroy Flash with Starscream," the Transformer duelist announced as his Duel Spirit cackled, blasting Flash into pixels with his laser. Then, he collected the pixels into his form to gain more power (4/2300-2700/1600)
"Alright, when Flash is destroyed I can banish him and three Elemental Heroes from my graveyard from." Reyna announced, removing Flash, Ocean, Woodsman, and another Elemental Hero. "Then, I can take my Rose Bud Spell Card that discarded with Graceful Charity and add it to my hand!" She stated, retrieving her Spell card.
"You want to give up, that's good for me," Syrus smirked, "Megatron, blast her life points: Missile Launch!" Megatron laughed as he kneeled down and fired his laser that caused Reyna to dive for cover, letting the laser hit the ruination of monster bones nearby instead.
Reyna: 3500
Syrus: 8000
Once Reyna got back up, she quickly patted her clothes to shake off the sand on her body. Then she turned to Syrus and drew her next card, "Let's go, Syrus! On my Draw Phase, I activate my Trap Card, Return from the Different Dimension! By paying half my life points, I can Special Summon many of Banished Monsters to the field! And I have four Elemental Heroes! Come on out, boys along with my Elemental Hero Knospe!" A red aura surrounded Reyna as a dimensional rip opened up above her.

Flying out of the gateway, Flash, Ocean, Woodsman, and a small plant-like creature with a silver necklace and red jewel inside it appeared and land in front of their friend. (4/1000/1500), (4/1500/1200), (4/1000/2000), (3/600/1000)
"Your monsters will have to go back inside that dimensional gateway," the Zombie Ra smirked, "And then, I'll be able to finish you off!"
"Trust me," Reyna grinned back at him, "If you had a hard time with Jaden's Elemental Heroes before the Neo-Spacians, then you'd best get ready for my onslaught! I know activate Ocean's and Woodsman's effect! I can take my Elemental Hero Heat from my Graveyard and add Polymerization from my deck respectively!" She continued, taking her Monster card from her graveyard and then took another Polymerization from her deck. "Now let's start the party when I summon Elemental Heat to the field!" She announced, bringing out her signature Fire monster (4/1600/1200) "And for every monster I have, Heat gain 200 ATK!" The core of Heat started to flare up, boosting the muscles in his body. (4/1600-2600/1200) "And then, I activate Rose Bud to evolve my Knopse to Elemental Hero Poison Rose!"
The young flower bud started to bloom, surrounded by flower petals. She was then replaced by a violet-skinned, teenage girl clad in a knee-length skirt made of leaves, a black, low-cut top, and a golden belt around her waist that was set with an amethyst. Her hair formed daisy petals from a black, crown-like helmet. (6/1900/2000)
"None of them can stand up to my monsters!"
"Then let me bring out someone who can, but first I'll activate my other facedown card, Elemental Recharge!" She countered, revealing her facedown card, "Since I have 5 Elemental Heroes, I gain 5000 Life Points; One for each of them on the field!" A burst of energy, erupted from her trap card and enveloped, recharging her energy.

Syrus: 8000
"Whoo! I feel so much better," She shouted, before showing off her next card, "Okay, I activate my Polymerization to fuse Flash and my Woodsman to bring out Elemental Hero Gaia!" The lighting-clad hero jumped into the skies with the tree-like hero and jumped inside of the fusion vortex. From it, a large giant clad in hard steel armor appeared. His dark eyes looked over the field. (6/2200/2600) (4/2600-2400/1200) "Next, Gaia's effect activates, stealing half of Megatron's ATK and boosting his own!" Gaia roared, slamming his right fist into the sands and used his power over earth to drain Megatron of his power and use it as his own. (8/3000-1500/2500), (6/2200-3700/2500) "Now go my Heroes, and attack!"
"I activate my trap, Cyber Repairer!" Syrus countered, revealing his facedown card. "With this, you draw one card, but then my Machine Monsters cannot be destroyed in battle!"
Reyna just drew her next card, and smirked as she said, "Then, it's going to be a free-for-all on ol' Megatron! Go ahead and let him have it! Heroes, attack!" Gaia roared as he, Ocean, Poison Rose, and Heat charged into the fray. Starscream transformed into his jet form and flew away, leaving his leader to the Hero onslaught. Gaia swung his giant hand onto Megatron, sending him flying into the air. Next, Poison Rose jumped after him and stabbed him in the chest with a punch and flung into the path of Heat, who blasted him with a torrent of flames, leaving him torn apart on his back.

Syrus: 4500
Finally, Ocean jumped into deal stabbing into Megatron's body, but the Decepticon retaliated with a missile fired from his launcher that obliterated the fish-like hero. (4/2400-2200/1200)
"I got one," Syrus smirked.
"Well, I couldn't let him return to the other Dimension." Reyna stated, "So he decided to let himself go out. But you also need to look out for Poison Rose's effect, she gains 200 ATK but loses 200 DEF when she deals Battle Damage!" Poison Rose started sprouting more daisies in her hair that powered her up. (6/1900-2100/2000-1800) "I then place one card facedown and end my turn, meaning Gaia's effects are done as well." She concluded. (6/3700-2200/2600), (8/1500-3000/2500)
"It's my turn," Syrus announced, "And it's time, I activate my Continuous Spell Card Clockwork Knight!"
Reyna gasped, seeing the Continuous Spell appear in front of her friend, "Oh no!"
"All monsters on your field will now become Machine-Types and they lose 500 ATK!" The Spell unleashed a blinding light that caused the three Heroes to become hardened steel skin which caused the new machines to hunch over. (6/2200-1700/2600), (6/2100-1600/1800), (4/2200-1700/1200) "Also, my monsters gain 500 ATK!" Starscream and Megatron cackled as they felt a power surge within them. (4/2700-3200/1600), (8/3000-3500/2500) "Now, I activate the Spell, Null Ray and have Starscream wield it!"
A small, silver barrel appeared on top of Starscream's right arm, letting him gaze at it a bit. "This is going to be so much fun!" Starscream smirked.
"Fire!"
The jet Decepticon fired his weapon at the Hero Machines, causing them to spark wildly with electricity and ceasing their functions (6/1700-0/2600-0), (6/1600-0/1800-0), (4/1700-0/1200-0)
"Their ATK!?" Reyna cried.
"That's right," Syrus smirked, "Null Ray drains the ATK and DEF of any Machine monsters on your field to 0 and negate all their effects. And during this turn, you cannot activate Spell and Trap Cards on your Field! You are finished!" He then pointed at the Hero Monsters, "Decepticons, attack and destroy the Heroes and their life points!"
Starscream and Megatron both fired their lasers at Gaia and Heat respectively, blasting them both off the sands and into pixels, causing Reyna to cover herself from the sands that kicked up from it.
Syrus laughed weakly from the battle, "I win! I win! I... HUH!?"
But what stopped him was when he saw the scores and that Gaia had fallen into the sands only.

"WHAT!?" Syrus shouted, "How can you survive? When Megatron destroys a monster, he deals 400 points of damage multiplied by your Monster's level! Add to Starsceam's attack, you should have been finished! How!?"
"I activated Necro Guardna's effect from the graveyard to cancel your Megatron's attack! So Gaia's safe and sound with me!" Reyna stated. "Come now, if Jaden's unpredictability got to you, then I'm going to be more than a match for you!"
"I end my turn with a facedown card, but you won't be able to come back from this!" Syrus concluded, "Especially since Starscream's effect still happened!"
"You won't be able to touch me at this rate!" Starscream boasted as he powered up. (4/3200-3600/1600)
"We'll see; I draw," Reyna announced, drawing her next card, "First, I activate Legacy of the Hero! With at least 2 Level 4 Hero Monsters in my graveyard, I can draw three cards from my deck!" She drew out her three cards and looked over her overall hand. "I summon Elemental Hero Stratos!" She announced, bringing out her metal-winged Hero. (4/1800/300) "Now, I with it can destroy Spell and Trap Cards equal to my Elemental Heroes on the field, beside him! And with two, I can destroy both Cybertron and your Clockwork Nightmare!"
Stratos turned up the fans in his wings, creating twin tornadoes that wiped out the Continuous Spell and ripped apart the Field around them to bring them back to the sands around Duel Academy. (4/3600-3100/1600), (8/3500-3000/2500)
"Now I activate Polymerization to fuse Poison Rose and my Stratos together to form my Elemental Hero Great Tornado!" Stratos flew up into the fusion vortex as the vortex itself absorbed the unmoving form of Poison Rose. Soon, a green and yellow armored hero appeared with a cape surrounding his form. (8/2800/2000) "And when summoned, he cuts the ATK and DEF of your monsters in half!"
"NOOOO... My power," Starscream wailed as he and Megatron were trapped inside of a wind vortex that left them scarred and exhausted from the cuts they sustained. (4/3100-1550/1600-800), (8/3000-1500/2500-1250)
"And to make sure I avenge Gaia, I activate Constrec Element! I can send him back to my Fusion Deck and bring back Absolute Zero and count it as a Fusion Summon!" She continued, inserting another Quick-Play Spell enveloping Gaia in a brown light that zoomed back into her deck, making a white light zoom out and reform the snow-armored Hero once again. (8/2500/2000) "Now let's get him, boys! Great Tornado attack Megatron and Absolute Zero, attack Starscream!"
"I activate the Trap, Metal Coat," the Transformer duelist countered, revealing one of his facedown cards, "Now I can prevent my Starscream from being destroyed in battle by giving up this trap!" Soon, a metal covering solidified around Starscream just as Absolute Zero threw an icicle spear that shattered it apart, leaving the jet Transformer alive.

"But Megatron's still going down!" Reyna stated as Great Tornado created another wind force that cut apart Megatron into pieces, scattered across the field. Syrus had to brace himself, making sure that none of the debris hit him.

Seeing his leader's pieces amongst the sands, Starscream erupted into triumphant laughter despite his own state. "YES! With him out of the way, I, Starscream, have become the new leader of the Decepticons! Now the world can be mine and mine alone to con...!"
"I activate my trap card..."
"Huh!?" Starscream wondered, looking back at his 'Master's' field, and gasped seeing a trap card. Showing an evolution of Megatron from a broken, scrapped from into a new Decepticon that different from him.
"Pawn of the Chaos Bringer," Syrus continued, revealing his trap card, "When Megatron is destroyed and sent to the graveyard, I can now Special Summon his new form to the field!"
"NOOO," Starscream protested, "Why!? This was supposed to be my chance! Don't bring him out!"
Reyna narrowed her eyes, 'This won't be good if his Duel Spirit's afraid of what's coming...'
"Come forth, Transformer Galvatron!" Syrus called out as he retrieved his card from his deck and then slammed it on to his duel disk tray. The scattered pieces of Megatron were lifted into the air by an unknown force and combined to create a giant, Cybertronic treaded field artillery unit that transformed into a silver robot with dark purple armor around the chest, arms, and knees. On his back, he carried a plasma cannon that had an orange tip. He emotionlessly surveyed the area as Starscream looked at him with fear and anger. (10/3500/3000)
"Oh no..." Reyna muttered.
"This will be the beginning of your end, Reyna," Syrus stated, "My new friend gains 500 ATK from Clockwork Night still on the field!" Galvatron laughed as he increased his power once more. (10/3500-4000/3000)
"I end my turn with this facedown card..." the nature E-Hero duelist concluded. 'This will be so close... I don't know what will happen after this, but at least I won't be a Zombie duelist after this...'
"I can now end this duel," Syrus announced, drawing his next card, "I can destroy your monsters with ease with Galvatron alone! I destroy your Great Tornado with Dark Nova Plasma Cannon!" Galvatron transformed back into the artillery unit and then fired a giant blast from its cannon, vaporizing Great Tornado into nothing. Reyna felt herself being pushed back by the full force of the blast.

Before she could get herself together, she could hear Syrus announce, "And when he destroys a monster in battle, I can take the original ATK of that monster from your life points! You won't have a leg to stand on after this!"
The Slifer Girl gasped as she saw that Galvatron was intending to fire another plasma blast at her directly, "I gotta act fast! I activate my Trap Card!" She looked over to her facedown card, letting it lift face-up. "It's my Change of Hero-Reflector Ray! Since you destroyed an Elemental Hero that's a Fusion Monster, you take 300 points of damage times the level! Meaning 2400 points of damage goes to you before the blast even gets to me..." She then made a break towards the small Ra as Galvatron fired its blast.
Syrus and Starscream gasped as they saw the trap card take in the next blast and then reflect back to their side. In the nick of time, Reyna tackled Syrus away from the field and left Starscream to take the blast, making him disintegrate into dust with both players taking damage from the respective card effects.

The Bio-Band did its work on Reyna, making her grunt in the pain and loss of energy. She then sighed as it was over, "I hope I can get up... to see you save the world... this time... Jaden... At least... I did my part..."
Back at the home dimension on Academy Island, it was a few hours past after they sent the Rainbow Dragon into the wormhole. Now, it was only the waiting game as they had to monitor the dimensional openings for the school to come back. Inside one of the trucks, Tetsu was fiddling around with Masaki's Bio-Band using various tools in order to get it off. Kaiba and Seth were also with him while discussing what they found out about Ileana.
"Are you sure you want to be messing with this thing," Masaki wondered.
"Look through the schematics that Adrian had on the Bio-Band, I found away to get this off," Tetsu stated. "And you just happened to be my first test subject..."
"Oh great..." The S-Hero duelist groaned, "Don't I feel special? Why couldn't you do that to yourself?"
"Needs two hand to steady the thing," the Video Game duelist said, "So, I need someone to help me get this off and it'll be time consuming explaining to someone, and we have no time for that."
On the computer, Seth pulled up a profile along with a recorded video between Echo and Tetsu, focusing more at the end where Ileana saved Echo at the last moment.
"Here she is, sir," Seth stated as pointed out the profile, "Ileana Ophis-Viper: Age 26. From Greece, but was subsequently caught up in a war somewhere around Central Europe some years ago. A widow from a previous marriage from a soldier that fought in that same war, and only had one child, a son... She was saved by some mercenary soldiers, but separated from her son. Weeks later, she found out that Thelonious Viper saved the child, and soon they married. However, when the son was about 5 years old, he died by an oncoming truck."
"So from what I'm seeing is that this Ileana thinks I have something to do with this?" Kaiba scoffed. "Even if the truck was Kaiba Corporation's, I will not tolerate this." He then looked to Seth, "What's your take on this?"
"My insight is that something happened to Thelonious on this island," the Investigator mused, "She's holding people on this island responsible, and the school links to Kaiba Corporation. She might even find something to uncover the truth. The whole thing about ruining KaibaCorp is just a front; she wants something from you and she's will to do all of this craziness just to exploit it."
"Then listen to the whole recording the students gathered after defeating Venom's duelists," Kaiba told him as he put in a disk inside the computer's hard drive, playing back the recording with a deep, distorted voice making the following message:
"Dear Duel Academy, you'll have your final days. This island will pay for his death, and I'll have the ones responsible! He was supposed to be revived, but you all prevented and destroyed the savior! My day of reckoning has begun; it's too late to stop the cycle of pain. These battles are short-lived, but my mark will be engraved and he will reawaken with help from my enemies... Let the final resurrection start soon..."
Seth processed everything that he just heard, and came up with a deduction:
"Thelonious Viper is dead, and Ileana found his body so it automatically places the island responsible," He began bluntly, "My guess is that it all started when Thelonious struck a deal with someone who said he could bring his son back, and the Bio-Bands were the means to carrying that out. By taking Viper out, that was prevented. And of course, the day of reckoning is here..."
"But what about that last entry?" Kaiba asked. "Where it starts with 'These battles are short-lived, but my mark will be engraved…'"
"Ileana's planning to do the same thing," Seth figured, "But Tetsu said the signal from the Bio-Band's storage is gone... How can she do it, even with the Bio-Band's still on the students?"
"Done!" Tetsu shouted in victory, holding up a Bio-Band that used to be on Masaki.
"Sweetness," Masaki grinned, "I am free! Let's get everyone else here and get the same!"
"Will d..." Tetsu stopped midway as he saw his Bio-Band activating and started glowing and alternating between dark orange and black. Suddenly, he fell to the ground and unconscious..."
"Tetsu!" Masaki shouted, getting on the ground and holding up the fallen East Academy duelist by the shoulders, "Wake up! Open your eyes!"
Masaki, Seth, and Kaiba froze up when they heard more strained screaming from outside the trucks, causing them to jump outside. What they saw, horrified them...
Jethro, Lyra, Allen, Bradshaw, Kairi, and Aster were all unconscious with their Bio-Bands sparking the same color as Tetsu's. Sheppard, Eisenstein, and Pegasus were all trying to get them awake but to no avail. Zane narrowed his eyes at seeing this happen.
"This is terrible," the Dueling Physicist gasped, "These devices on their wrists have knocked them out!"
"But this is impossible," Sheppard shouted, "The Bio-Bands didn't activate before! Why now?"
Pegasus narrowed his eye and started looking around, "She must be here..."
"You're correct, Pegasus..." Everyone turned to see Ileana and Echo walking through the camp, casually like they belonged there. This time, they showed off a lantern-like device and it was glowing the same color as the Bio-Bands.
"That's the thing Tetsu was talking about," Seth stated. He then reached for his intercom in his ear, "Security, we have..."
"Don't bother, dear," Ileana interrupted, "Your precious defense and workers has fallen thanks to yours truly; all they need was a nap from working all day and night..." She then looked to the fallen duelists and smiled, "Just like your duelists, I see..." She held up her device, "With this machine, I can reactivate the Bio-Bands and create real damage all I please! And with the only hope you have gone, there is nothing you can do to stop me."
"Uh..." Masaki interrupted, waving his Bio-Band free wrist and grinned saying, "Missed one..."
"What!? How!?"
"Tetsu..."
Echo growled, "Why does he choose now to show off... even at a critical moment!?"
"Calm down, dear," Ileana said calmly, "We still have the upper hand; I have everything we need to ensure KaibaCorp's demise... All that's left is pouring the proverbial salt within the wounds..."
"Listen lady," Kaiba stated, "This is island, or anyone of the Kaiba Corporation, have nothing to do with your husband's death, even if he was the snake that started the whole thing. So, I suggest you stand down and come with us, along with whatever dignity you have left. Besides, no one can resurrect the dead!"
The Viper woman smirked, "Oh, but I can! When I take over KaibaCorp, I can use this device along with your machines to bring him and my son back; we'll be one happy family again!" She then laughed loudly that caused those present around her to look at her as if she grew a second head. "I have my husband's body, and I will collect the means to bring my beloved back to me."
"Now you're speaking crazy," Seth growled, hearing enough and activating his Duel Disk, "You will stand down and stop this madness!"
"We won't," Echo shouted as she moved in and activated her Duel Disk, "You are truly heartless if you won't let someone be reunited with their family; just like you're denying Adrian's dream!"
"That's the pot calling the kettle black," Masaki stepped up, activating his Duel Disk, "You won't let over 100 people come back for just one guy to stay over in that dimension? Think about all the families that'll miss them..."
"You all brought that upon yourselves," Ileana announced, activating her Duel Disk, "It's time that you've paid your dues to me and the world... Once you two are out of my way, I destroy Kaiba and his company and rebuild it to bring back my family!"

"Enough of this," Seth announced, drawing his sixth card, "I start with the Continuous Spell Card, Black Whirlwind!" He called, inserting his Continuous Spell card, letting a whirlwind of black feathers surround it. "Next, I play Blackwing – Shura the Blue Flame!" With a piercing shriek, a new Blackwing burst from the Black Whirlwind, a large tengu with thin legs and upper arms, with immense forearms ending in vicious talons. As his name implied, most of his feathers were blue, though the wings that exploded out behind him were jet-black, and his plumage bore a stripe of blood-red. (4/1800/1200) "The effect of my Black Whirlwind activates, placing another Blackwing monster to my hand from the deck."
He added the card to his deck as Ileana stared intently. 'Yes... play all of your little birdies, darling. They will serve me greatly...'
"I add my Bora the Spear to the field, which I will Special Summon with its effect," the Investigator continued, playing the Spear-Wielding tengu that emerged from the whirlwind. (4/1700/1200) "I end with a facedown card!" He concluded, as a set card appeared behind Shura.
"And now I draw," Ileana began, drawing her sixth card, "I summon Reptilliane Gorgon!" She announced, bringing out the hideous naga woman that hissed along with the snakes in her hair. (3/1400/1400) "I then activate Molting Escape and equip it to her!" A pink aura glowed around her, making Gorgon smirk. "And then I activate Reptilianne Poison, changing your monster from Defense to Attack mode, and then draining it of its ATK!" She laughed as she inserted her next card. Gorgon's eyes flashed at Bora, stunning the Blackwing before turning him to stone. (4/1700-0/1200) The spectators gasped seeing the monster immobile with Kaiba staring hard.
Seth huffed a bit.
Ileana smirked before announcing, "Gorgon, attack his Shura the Blue Flame!"
Sheppard narrowed his eyes, "It has less ATK!"
"But it has a deadly effect," Kaiba stated as Gorgon and Shura clashed with their arms, locking up with Shura gaining more of the exchange. He was able to break free before roughing her up and slashing her scaly skin to the flesh underneath.
Seth/Masaki: 8000
Ileana/Echo: 7600
The Venom leader smirked as she said, "Molting Escape activates! It protects my Gorgon from one battle, and then she gains 300 ATK with a shed of the skin!" Gorgon's roughed up state was now torn away by her newly clean form, hissing loudly (3/1400-1700/1400) "Now Gorgon's effect activates; turning your birdie into stone!" Gorgon's eyes flashed once more at Shura's tired form, turning him to stone as well. (4/1800-0/1200)
"Oh great, there has to be more to it than this," Masaki scoffed.
"Right you are, boy," Ileana smirked, playing another card. "I activate Quick Summon to play my Reptilliane Scylla in attack mode" She continued, playing another monster card. This time a red-headed snake woman appeared, wearing a brown halter-top and her lower body was that of an eyeless, four-legged beast. (4/1800/1200) "Attack Shura the Blue Flame!"
Scylla roared as she jumped into the air and then pounced on top of the stone Shura, shattering him to pieces.

"And now, Scylla's effect activates!" Ileana grinned, "I take your monster as my own!" Everyone gasped as they saw Shura resummoned under Ileana's control, kneeling down in front of her. (4/1800/1200) Seth narrowed his eyes. "Aw, Kaiba's big bad duelist didn't like that? Maybe I should just make it worse by using my Sneak Attack Spell Card, to take your other one!" She stated, inserting another Spell card, "Now I can attack with Scylla outside of my Battle Phase!"
Scylla lunged at the stone Bora, smashing him to pieces as well.

Then, Bora reformed from the stone pieces and kneeled before Ileana. (4/1700/1200)
"She took both of his monsters!" Pegasus shouted.
"This is bad," Sheppard added, "Who knows what she'll have Echo do with them..."
"I end my turn!" Ileana concluded, "All falling apart so soon, boys? This will be painless."
"It's my turn," Masaki announced, drawing his sixth card. "I summon my Shonen Hero Rubberman in defense mode and end with a facedown card." Along with a reversed card, a teenage boy wearing an open red sleeveless jacket with nothing underneath, blue jean shorts and sandals. And over his short, black hair he wore a straw hat with a red circle around it. (4/1500/1500)
"My move," Echo announced, drawing her sixth card. "I play Graceful Charity to draw three cards and discard two!" She announced, drawing out three cards and the discarding, two of her eight, "I summon Oshaleon in attack mode!" A small, multicolored chameleon with three white stars on its back appeared staring at all places with its eyes. (3/1400/800) "While this is on the field and in attack mode, I can keep all your monsters' attention on it."
"Meaning even if Seth or the kid can have something that gets rid of the Gorgon or Scylla, they have to worry about other things," Kaiba stated.
"And even if the field has been filled up, I can still drain your monsters of its power," Echo smirked, "Especially since I activate the Continuous Spell, Attack Pheromones causing all opposing monsters to switch to attack mode when a Reptile Monster attacks them!" She explained letting the sweet scent lure Rubberman into attack mode, wanting more of the scent. "Reptilliane Gorgon, attack!"
"I activate Negate Attack!" Masaki announced, revealing his facedown card, "This will block your attack and end the Battle Phase!" Gorgon's piercing eyes almost reached the Rubberman, if it weren't for an invisible force blocking the effects.
"I end with a facedown card!" Echo concluded.
"Now, my turn," Seth announced, drawing his next card, "I activate Star Blast to pay 500 life points to decrease my Level 5 monster to Level 4!" A red aura surrounded him, translating the payment.

"Now, I summon Blackwing – Sirocco the Dawn!" He declared, bringing out his tall, birdman letting out a loud battlecry. (5-4/2000/900) "And with Black Whirlwind on the field, I can bring the Tuner Monster Gale the Whirlwind to my hand and then I will Special Summon him via its effect!" In a whirlwind of black feathers, the dark-green feather raven appeared. (3/1300/800)
"I activate Ileana's Trap card, Discord!" Echo interrupted, revealing the facedown card that her partner set. "This prevents Synchro Summoning for the next three turns!" A distorted soundwave erupted from the trap, causing Gale to feel disoriented.
"No, that means he can't bring out his high-level monster." Pegasus noted.
"Won't need it," Seth replied, gaining a gasp from the creator, "I think that since you've been on a card creating binge with your company, you're forgetting so much about the cards you create these days." Kaiba smirked at the Duel Monsters creator. "Then you should remember the other effects of the Blackwings; First, Gale will drain half the ATK of Oshaleon with his effect!"
Gale shrieked, unleashing a blast of wind at the chameleon, causing to lose its footing and onto its back. (3/1400-700/800-400)
"Next, you deal with Sirocco the Dawn's effect. If there's another one present on my field, he can take the ATK of the others and add them to his own!" Seth then smirked, "Including the ones you took from me!"
The girls gasped as Sirocco let out a louder call, letting the auras of Bora, Shura, and Gale gather into his own. (5/2000-6800/900)
"That's why he wasn't worried," Masaki cheered. "No matter what he can still control the Blackwings!"
"Now Ileana will see the blunder that came with it," Kaiba smirked.
"Sirocco, attack Oshaleon!" Seth announced as Sirocco flew into the air and performed a dive bomb tackle on the chameleon, shattering it to pixels.

"Amazing," Pegasus exclaimed, "Over 6000 Life Points gone in that one attack!"
"She's gonna wish she didn't take those monsters," Zane added.
"I end my turn with another facedown card," Seth concluded, inserting a card into his disk. Soon, Sirocco powered down after standing in front of him. (5/6800-2000/900) "As you can see, I'm more than just the Synchro Monsters your Venom scum sent to you when they lost; I can play off the strengths of each individual monster's effect as well. In short, you'll find that it'll be difficult to actually control the Blackwings." The Blackwing Duelist explained sternly.
"Well, I still gain a Reptile Monster up to 500 ATK!" Echo announced, taking a Monster Card from her deck, "I can do this when you destroyed Oshaelon!"
"Looks like I have to get rid of that Blackwing monster, if we expect to live!" Ileana growled, drawing her next card. "I first activate Card of Demise to draw until I'm holding five cards!" She began, drawing out four cards to add to her first one. "Then, I activate Mystik Wok to send Shura to the graveyard, and then gain Life Points equal to its ATK!"
Shura disappeared into sparkling, black feathers which improved the Venom duo's score.

"Next, I sacrifice your Shura to Normal Summon Reptilliane Medusa!" She continued as Bora vanished, making room for the fat and grotesque naga woman that made a roar that sounded like belch as well. (6/2200/0)
Masaki smirked, "Sounds like your lady friend has gotten too round..." He then patted his own stomach for humorous implications, "Particularly around the middle..."
Ileana snarled, "Make jokes while you can, especially as Medusa will drain your monster's ATK to 0 after I send a card to the graveyard!" She shoved one card into her discard slot, letting Medusa give a hideous stare to Sirocco, turning him to stone. (5/2000-0/900) "And now I know how your monster works, I can take it for myself! Scylla, attack and tame his Sirocco!" Scylla snarled and prepared to leap.
"I activate my trap card, Draining Shield" Seth announced, revealing one of his facedown cards, "This card negates your Scylla's attack and then Masaki and I gain life points equal to that monster's ATK!" He declared as a clear barrier blocked Scylla's pounce, taking the force of the impact into Seth's and Masaki's disk as life.

"Fine, I send Medusa after you!" Ileana continued as the giant naga lunged next…
"I activate my second trap, Black Wing!" Seth countered once more, revealing his last facedown card, "Since you're attacking with a monster that has at least 2000 ATK, I can remove Shura from my graveyard in order to negate her attack!"
Once Medusa was close enough, a tornado of black feathers smacked her back to her mistress' side with a painful hiss.
"Even with his Blackwings in the graveyard he can control them," Zane said, impressed with the strategy.
Kaiba nodded to his employee, also impressed.
"Damn, I send Gorgon to finish what they started!" the Reptilliane duelist announced, sending in her smaller Gorgon to smash apart the Blackwing statue into rubble.

"I end my turn." Ileana declared, glaring at Seth, 'He's more trouble than he's worth... I studied the Blackwings since I found my husband's work on them in that Duelbot... why can't I catch him off guard!?'
"It's my draw," Masaki announced, "First, I sacrifice Rubberman to summon Shonen Hero Dimension Cutter!" He declared, letting the pirate boy vanish in place for the red-headed warrior with his blue glowing sword in hand. (5/1800/1800) "Next, I use the Foolish Burial Spell to place a Monster into the graveyard." He stated, sending one card from his deck and into his discard slot and then shuffled it, "And then, I use Dimension Cutter's effect to Special Summon Shonen Hero Whitebeard which I send to the graveyard!"
Dimension Cutter cut open a portal to the graveyard, letting the giant, white-haired pirate jump out with a mighty shout. (7/2700/2700)
"Then, I use my partner's Gale the Whirlwind to drain Gorgon's ATK and DEF in half!" Gale blew another storm into the stronger Reptilliane's face, making Gorgon cringe from the force. (3/1700-850/1400-700) "And now to wreck the whole place, Whitebeard attacks Medusa!" Masaki announced as the giant pirate threw a massive right hand to the ugly naga's face, shattering her to pixels.

"Rubberman attacks Gorgon with Gum Gum Pistol!" He continued as the straw-hat pirate threw rights and lefts that stretched out from the distance, causing the Gorgon to shed skin to escape. (3/850-1150/700)

"Dimension Cutter, finish the job on Scylla!" He continued as Dimension Cutter and Scylla charged at each other with the sword cutting into the Reptilliane, and the fangs of the lower half was biting into the torso of the Shonen Hero. Both of them shattered seconds later. "You're left with nothing, ladies!" Masaki noted, setting his next card. "Let's see what you've got, Echo!"
"Good work," Kaiba nodded, "I expected no less from Shonen Hero duelists; after all, with ATK and DEF that match he knows how to use them effectively as the original user."
"It's my turn." Echo announced, drawing her next card, "I place three cards facedown and a monster to defense mode." She concluded.
"It's over," Seth announced, drawing his next card. "I activate Giant Trunade to remove your Spell and Trap Cards!"
"And I activate Snake Deity's Venom," Echo countered, revealing one of her facedown cards. It depicted Venominaga spray poisonous venom at a forest, burning them away, "By discarding one card from my hand, I can stop the activation of your effect and then destroy your strongest monster and deal damage equal to the original ATK!"
The venom from the trap leaked out, dissipating the hurricane in the skies and then covered Whitebeard who groaned from the burning feel. Echo and Ileana grinned as they saw the giant pirate fight off the pain with the others gasping at what they could lose.
However...
Whitebeard took off his jacket, revealing his muscular physique and promptly wiped off any venom that got on his skin and threw the jacket away.
"What!?"
"Sorry, but Whitebeard is unaffected by your trap cards," Masaki smirked, wagging his fingers. "All you did was protectiing those facedowns you got!"
"But now I have a quick fix in destroying your monster and your life points," Seth declared, "And it starts with my two Blackwings combining their powers!"
"Please," Ileana scoffed, "One of them can't move, and you still can't Synchro Summon due to my Discord still in effect. And by the time you can Synchro Summon will be after Masaki's next turn. Giving us all the time we need to win."
"Then, I'll simply remove my Blackwings from the field!" the Blackwing Duelist shouted as both Sirocco and Gale vanished from the field.
"What!?"
"This is allows me to Special Summon Blackwing – Aurora of the Northern Lights!" In a small white light, a small black feathered bird with a large, pink feather crest over its forehead appeared. It flew over Seth's head, emitting the Aurora Borealis around it. (10/?/0)
"But how can you do that!? You cannot Synchro Summon!"
"It's NOT a Synchro Monster," Seth smirked, "But it'll seem that way in a minute as I activate its Special Ability! By removing one of the Blackwing Synchro Monsters from my Extra Deck, Aurora can take the form of that same monster!"
Everyone cheered.
"So, I remove my Blackwing Armed Wing in order for it to take its powers!" He continued as he removed his Synchro Monster from the game, and the Aurora Borealis had taken on the form of that same monster. (10/?-2300/0)
"And then I attack, letting Aurora gain the effects of Armed Wing; while attacking it gains 500 ATK during the damage step against Defense Position Monster and can deal Piercing damage!" Aurora cried as it felt power coursing through its wings. (10/2300-2800/0) "And finally, I'll discard Kalut the Moon Shadow in order for it to gain 1400 ATK!" Soon, Kalut's shadow had emerged within Aurora and giving it more power. (10/2800-4200/0) "Now take it out!" The monster revealed to be a giant, round lizard floating in mid-air. (4/500/1900)
Seeing this, everyone started to cheer.
"I activate my facedown cards, D2 Shield and Snake Whistle!" Echo announced, revealing her two facedown cards, "D2 Shield will double my monster's DEF!" Balloon Lizard had expanded to twice its size. (4/500/1900-3800/0) But it wasn't enough for it to be struck down by Aurora's attack.

"Now Snake Whistle activates and Special Summons a low-level Reptile Type Monster from my deck," She continued, playing another card, "I bring out my Black Mamba!" She declared, bringing out the very monster; a giant black mamba staring at the opposition. (3/1300/1000) "And when it hits the field, I can switch the battle position of your Whitebeard to defense mode!" Whitebeard grunted as he was forced to kneel down
"I place a card facedown to end my turn which causes effect of Aurora to cancel," Seth concluded, as Aurora powered down. (10/4200-0/0)
"Yes," Ileana shouted, drawing her next card. "Now I can silence all of you! First, I activate my Cold Wave Spell!" She announced, inserting her spell card, "Now I can stop the activation of your facedown card until Echo's turn." Seth grunted in anger. "Now, I remove all Reptile monster monsters from the field and Special Summon my Evil Dragon Anata!"
The spirits of all eight Reptiles in her and Echo's Graveyard appeared before her and flowed together, then with an earth-shaking roar her monster rose up, a colossal serpent of dark brown with seven massive heads, one of which possessed large webbed fins and a long golden horn. The mighty beast gave a rattling hiss, all fourteen of its venomous green eyes glaring at Seth and Masaki (10/?/?)
"Its attack and defense are determined by the number of Reptiles I removed! 8 of them!" The giant serpent glowed with energy. (10/?-4800/?-4800)
"And Attack Pheromones is still on the field!" Eisenstein shouted.
"Now say goodbye to everything you knew about your 'perfect' life of Kaiba Corporation and Duel Academy!" the Venom leader shouted, "Anata, rip apart that Aurora and their life points!" Anata roared and blasts of poison ripped from her seven maws…
But at the last second, Whitebeard stood in front of Aurora and being slammed by the poison, destroying him. Still, the serpent continued as knocked Seth into the ground.

"Why!? I attack that wretched bird, not that pirate!" Ileana protested. She then heard Masaki laughing, prompting her fury at him, "Explain yourself!"
The S-Hero duelist stopped his laughter and replied, "Sorry, but Whitebeard takes the fall for any battle that's declared! Meaning you had to go through 2700 ATK, leaving us with something to continue with!"
"Nice work..." Seth nodded to his partner, "You'll just have to follow up though..."
"Will do..." Masaki said, flashing a peace sign.
"I end my turn," Ileana announced, "And during the End Phase, I can destroy a card on the field!" In a quick stretch of one of her necks, Anata snatched up Rubberman and swallowed him whole prompting the disgust of everyone other than the owner.
"Wait, why not Aurora?" Sheppard wondered.
"Because Masaki doesn't own Blackwings to use its effect..." Kaiba explained, "Unless he can find a way to play that Armed Wing into his Extra Deck, it's totally useless in his hands."
"It's my move!" Masaki announced, "And now I think it's time for a little payback! I summon Shonen Hero Shadow Binder in attack mode since your Pheromones is still in effect!" He announced, bringing out a young ninja with his black hair tied in a short tail. He wore a grey jacket with a mesh shirt underneath, along with black shorts and dark blue sandals. (3/600/600) "Now I can keep your monster right where it is by keeping Anata away from battle since they are on the same row placement!" With a single hand sign, Shadow Binder's shadow extended to Anata's, keeping it steady though he was having a hard time doing it. "And then I'll place this facedown card on the field as well."
"My turn," Echo announced, drawing her next card. "I summon Granadora to the field!" She announced, playing her monster card to unleash a dark green lizard with a jagged maw and curved horns on the side of the head. (4/1900/700) "And when summoned, we automatically gain 1000 life points!" A white aura surrounded Echo, restoring some of her team's Life Points

"Next, I activate Heavy Storm to destroy all Spells and Traps on the field!" She continued as a giant storm set in, shaking the Spells and Traps on both teams' sides.
"I'll activate my Invincible Hero Trap card in response," Masaki countered, revealing his facedown card, "You can't destroy my Shadow Binder in battle now, meaning that Anata's unable to follow up an attack for the win!" A protective aura was placed around Shadow Binder while the rest of the Spell and Traps were sucked into the storm and shattered.
"Good, Aurora would have been next causing Seth and Masaki to lose the duel," Sheppard sighed in relief.
"Then, I'll just attack Shadow Binder to damage those points," Echo muttered, as Granadora striking down the young ninja with its horns and leaving him bordering on the edge of death.
Seth/Masaki: 600

"I end my turn with a facedown card and by activating Mystic Wok," Echo concluded, "I'll send Granadora to the graveyard to avoid the damage effect, and gain 1900 life points from its ATK!" Granadora vanished into a white light, restoring more of Echo's health.

"And then I use Anata's effect to destroy Shadow Binder, freeing her!" She continued as Anata snatched up the ninja and swallowed him whole.
"It's my turn," Seth announced, drawing his next card. He then stared at his hand, looking through the cards carefully before announcing, "I activate Aurora's effect!"
"I activate Divine Wrath," Echo countered, discarding one of her cards, "I discard one card to negate that bird's effect and destroy it for good!" A lightning bolt flashed from the sky and zapped the Blackwing, shatteringit to pixels.
Seth clicked his tongue in frustration, and then said, "I end my turn."
Everyone gasped at hearing it while Ileana practically had a maniacal grin hearing it.
"Nothing!? He can't do anything!" Sheppard gasped.
"And they have nothing on the field to defend themselves," Eisenstein stated.
Kaiba just stared at the field, wondering why one of his loyal duelists would just leave the field bare for his opponent to strike.
"Victory is mine at last," Ileana shouted, drawing her next, "Thelonius, I shall bring you back with this last attack!" She then stared at Kaiba, "And then you and your businesses shall fall here and now; maybe you should have battled me instead with your precious Blue-Eyes White Dragons to save you as always." She then pointed straight at Seth and shouted, "Anata, destroy them both!"
Anata rushed at the investigator, all of its fangs snapping at him with Seth having his face staring at the ground. But then...
"Just what I was waiting for," Seth shouted back. It was then two holographic copies of Black Wing revealed themselves in front of Seth and Masaki, blocking Anata's advancement.
"But those cards were used up," Ileana protested
"For the graveyard effect," the investigator interjected, "It could have happened on Masaki's turn, but he didn't know about the secondary effects. But it was thanks to him, the stage is set for Venom's downfall! During any player's Battle Phase, I can remove two copies of the Black Wing Trap Card in order to destroy one monster on the field! And when I do, the damage of its ATK will come out of your Life Points!"
The girls gasped at what that meant...
Anata was suddenly enveloped inside a whirlwind of black feathers, unable to move from its spot. That's when Ileana lost it...
"NOOOO!" She shouted, "Why are you doing this!? I just wanted my family back! And the people have the right to know what has happened to their own children as well! You call me the villain, when it is you all who have the secrets hiding underneath your own island!"
Seth narrowed his eyes, "And yet you do that by destroying a company, who provides the means of connecting those families together and stopping us from trying to reunite those families. It would be better to give the families their children rather than making sure that they never return. For your losses, I do offer condolences..." He then shouted, "But for harming lives... Black Wing, destroy Anata and the rest of their life points!"
Ileana growled angrily as Anata was now enclosed in those same feathers tightly. She only had one ace in the hole in return...
"GRRAAGH!" She threw something at Masaki's Duel Disk and at the same time, the feathers exploded and took Anata and Ileana and Echo down as well to end the game.
Seth/Masaki: 600, Winners
Ileana/Echo: 0
However, that something she threw turned out to be a static bomb that was deflected by a blonde haired man that swatted it away with a three-pronged kunai. Ileana gasped
"You're not the only one with quick hands, huh?" Masaki grinned as he showed off Shonen Hero Yellow Flash's card on his disk, "You said that little lantern thing makes damage real, so why not use it to my advantage?" He then got serious, "And I don't take it well when someone tries to destroy the legacy of a friend just because they lost... It wouldn't make you a proper Duelist..."
Ileana looked up with a death glare until she was met with the cold stares of Seth, Kaiba, and Zane. She now saw she was truly defeated, and can only let out a defeated, yet mournful cry to the skies.
Eisenstein took the lantern device and effectively shut it down, causing the Bio-Bands to deactivate and release its hold on every other duelist with them on.
Aster was the first to awaken, letting Masaki to run and help him up.
"So, it's over," Pegasus stated.
"Not yet," Kaiba replied, "I still need my school back... So those kids better use that card..."
Suddenly, they heard Ileana laugh after Seth had handcuffed her hands behind her back. Her expression looked even more crazed, "You think you've won... you'll never... have your precious school!"
"What are you talking about, lady?" Aster managed to say.
"Before your precious rocket sent the Rainbow Dragon card... I managed to plant a bomb on it..." Ileana grinned, "Once it crossed over, it exploded..." This shocked the guys, letting the Viper woman relish in the moment, "By now, several satellites will pick up the lack of a school on the island and send them to various media sources that will come and invade this place... If I can't have my family whole, no one else here will!"
She laughed loudly, leaving everyone to think about what she just said...
"You're full of it..."
Ileana stopped laughing to see Lyra, Allen, Jethro, Bradshaw, and Kairi awakening and walking over to her.
"If the Rainbow Dragon is said to house a powerful spirit," Jethro deduced, "Then even what you say is true, then the spirit will live on and make sure to return our friends home..."
"Meaning it was a royal waste to do that," Lyra stated.
"And you will return our decks and cards," Allen said.
"As if..." Ileana stated.
"Just give it up, you lost," Bradshaw scoffed.
"Soon, you'll lose all rights to come here or any other school," the Viper woman stated, "In fact, dueling may be banned altogether. Since my son once ran out towards a moving truck to his death to get his cards, it's fitting to take those away."
"And yet we have many things, such as a bond, with those cards," Kairi countered, "After all, your son loved the game... And it was either you or your husband that gave him those cards that he cherished them and wanted to go get them."
Ileana growled, "I'll never tell..."
"Good, because I found the submarine base of yours," Tetsu said, walking out of the truck he passed out in, "And that's where you've been hiding under noses."
Kaiba finally stared her down and said, "It's over, Ms. Viper. Now all we do is wait for my school to resurface..."
Ileana looked at the ground, defeated...
Back at the alternate dimension, Jaden, Claudio, and Jesse had almost made it to the House of Sand. But hindering them, were various Zombie Duelists who managed to stick around.
"Oh yeah," Claudio groaned, "Don't make this easy..." He then thought, 'Wish I haven't sent the Ironheade crew to help back at the school with the ones in the gym, but they needed the extra protection...'
"Looks like we have to duel our way out of this," Jaden sighed.
"And we'll be dueling fatigue after this, once we finish..." Jesse stated.
"Duel me..." the Zombies groaned as they moved closer.
But as the boys got ready to activate their disks...
"Musician King, rock their world!"
The boys gasped as they saw the Zombie Duelist get knocked out by a massive sound wave that followed a strum of an electric guitar. Turning around, they saw a person wearing only a tattered, brown cloak with the old-style duel disk. On it was the Musician King card that just attacked the Zombie Duelists.
"Hey thanks, pal..." Jaden stated. "We owe you one!" He said as he ran towards the ruins.
"Thanks a million," Jesse added as he followed Jaden.
Claudio nodded and was about to follow when...
"Wait..." the cloaked duelist said, "I must speak with you..."
The J-Hero duelist sighed, "Sorry, but I have to stop these guys from keeping us in this dimension."
"Exactly," the mystery duelist said, as he walked over to Claudio. "I must have you take something to a friend of mine back in your dimension." He then held out a deck of cards, getting Claudio to open his right hand and place it. "This needs to get to Masaki Oda, once you go back home..."
"What?" Claudio asked, "Masaki? Why do you want him for? Who are you?"
"I can sense that he's told you a story about the friend that once owned the Shonen Heroes, correct?" Claudio gasped, hearing that. "I am the spirit of this friend, but instead of crossing into the afterlife, my soul was able to come across dimensions. One of them being your dimension, where I wanted to get a message to Masaki about the true power of the Shonen Hero deck..."
"True power?"
"The ones currently in use are restrained versions, and not the ones I envisioned." The spirit explained, "But that's because of a hold on them that I found on other dimensional gateways..."
"More dimensions?" Claudio repeated.
The spirit nodded, "First, this deck needs to get to Masaki. Once done, I can help you out in breaking that hold and Masaki needs to come with you."
"Okay, but who knows how I can get there once I do this..." the J-Hero duelist stated.
"Trust me, you will..." the spirit smiled and nodded.
"Hey Claudio," The Ra turned around towards Jaden and Jesse, "Let's go!"
"I know," the Ra said back before turning towards the spirit. But only to find out that he was nowhere to be seen. "Wha...?"
"Come on!" Jesse shouted back, making Claudio snap out of his shock and run to his friends.
Once at the top, they found Xiu Zhen, Marcel, and Jacinth standing on the other side of the field with smirks on their faces.
"Well, they've come to play," Jacinth stated. "Even after all the obstacles sent their way..."
Claudio growled, "I knew you three sent those Zombie Duelists to block us off!"
"Of course," Marcel snarled, "I wanted you to know the pain of losing those people you wanted to protect, but you made it..." But then he grinned, "A part of me did want you to make, so that I would enjoy doing that myself!" He narrowed his eyes and spoke in a voice no longer Marcel's, "Tell me Claudio, have you been a good boy?"
Claudio narrowed his eyes back hearing that statement, 'I felt like I know that... someone telling the same thing...'
"Well you're done calling the shots," Jaden shouted, "You three hurt a lot of people trying to get to us, and now you'll pay!"
Xiu Zhen giggled, "Of course; they were in the way of OUR happiness!" She then warped her voice, to speak in a new voice, "And now I can finally have you to myself, my dear Jaden!"
'Huh?' Jaden thought and gasped, 'That voice; I remember that from that dream I had during the opening day...'
"Do you remember me, Jaden?" Xiu Zhen pleaded, reaching out with her demonic hand.
"I don't," the E-Hero duelist replied, "And I don't like that you've possessed another person just to do all this!"
Xiu Zhen sighed, "Don't worry, I will help you remember... with all the love I plan to give to you!"
"Hey, he's got a girlfriend," Jesse interjected, "And I don't appreciate you trying to seduce Jaden away from my little sister!"
The demon inside Xiu Zhen nearly snapped and growled, 'WHAT!? He's let someone else take my place!? I will not stand for that!' She then turned to Jesse, 'And the first step is getting rid of you...'
"I say we dispense with reunion and get right to this special duel of ours," Jacinth interrupted. "We have all the time in the world to beat the memories into their heads. There's tag duel to be done and won!"
"Fine," Jaden said, "How do we do this 6 persona Tag Duel?"
"The rules are as follows," Xiu Zhen stated after calming down, "First, I'll take the first turn and then after that it will be your turn, Jaden..."
"Next, will be mine," Marcel continued, "And then Claudio will come after me..."
"Finally, I will go," Jacinth smirked, "And then Jesse will move last. And it's just like the Tag Duels that started this year: after the first turn, begin attacking!"
"Not good if we can't get a big enough defense..." Claudio stated.
"Yeah, until I get Rainbow Dragon out..." Jesse replied, winking at his friends.
All players activated their Duel Disk and then drew their opening hands...
Everyone that fought in the big war from the Academy's side had finally regained the strength to awaken, and make their way towards or around the dueling site. All of them had one thing on their mind...

"I'll begin," Xiu Zhen smiled, drawing her sixth card, "I activate the Continuous Spell Card, Convulsion of Nature!" She announced, placing her card inside the disk, "This card flips over everyone's decks! So let's go, boys!" Everyone did as told, removing their decks and then placing them back into their duel disks upside down so that they saw their bottom card. "And this will make a good combination with another Continuous Spell Card, Archfiend's Oath!" She continued, playing her next card.
"I think I know who has Hamon..." Claudio muttered to Jaden.
"No kidding," the E-Hero duelist groaned.
"When this card's activated, I pay 500 Life Points to guess the top card in my deck!" the possessed Silfer girl announced as she looked at the top card of her deck, "I choose to draw my Continuous Spell, Continuous Destruction Punch!" She announced as she drew her Continuous Spell, letting the red aura drain her team's points.
Xiu Zhen/Marcel/Jacinth: 7500
"And then, I play it!" She shouted, inserting her next card. She stared at Jaden with an unsettling stare, making the E-Hero duelist cringe, "Now, my precious Jaden, we'll soon be spending a lot of time together! Now with these Continuous Spell cards in play, I Special Summon the Dragon Queen of Tragic Endings in defense mode!" The auras from the Continuous Spells merged into a dark form, releasing the jagged-like dragon on the field. (8/1900/2600)
Marcel scoffed, "That mortal must be getting attached to that card..."
"Well, she'll meet a tragic end after this duel," Jacinth smirked.
"Anyway, I end my turn with a facedown card," Xiu Zhen concluded. "Now don't disappoint, Jaden..."
"Alright, but it won't take much to defend against her," Jaden announced, drawing his sixth card, "I start with Elemental Hero Clayman in defense mode!" He began, placing his rock-armored hero in front of him (4/800/2000) "And then, I place one card facedown to end my turn." He concluded. 'We don't know what to expect from these three since we're in Tag Duels, I'll have to keep it safe for now...'
"Disappointing, I go now," Marcel announced, drawing his sixth card. "And this will be a move to behold; I activate the effect of my Grinder Golem, letting me Special Summon it to your side of the field in defense mode!" The boys gasped as the boys' side was now being towered by a giant mechanical machine with a giant buzzsaw in the middle of its body. It was standing outside the House of Sand where Axel and the others were watching the match. (8/3000/300) "But don't think I don't get anything out of it; I gain two Grinder Tokens as payment for your powerful monster!" He stated as two mini Grinder Golems appeared on his side of the field. "Oh man, this monster looks so inviting!" the Ra grimaced.
"I don't get it," Allyson wondered. "Why give him such a powerful monster?"
Axel glared, "Check out its stats; it has a really low DEF. That means he'll use a piercing effect to deal early damage..."
"Relax," the possessed Ra grinned, "It's just a gift from an old friend! And then, I activate the Spell Nitro Unit and equip it to your Golem!"
Jaden watched as the giant Golem was outfitted with an "Okay..."
"I attack with Dragon Queen of Tragic Endings on Grinder Golem," Marcel announced, "Attack with Tragedy Stream!" the Dragon unleashed a breath of dark flames heading straight for the giant golem. On impact, it rusted to dark brown and then overheated the Nitro Unit causing it to beep loudly. The possessed Ra grinned as he announced, "And when a monster equipped with Nitro Unit is destroyed, you lose life points equal to its ATK!"
Claudio gasped as he looked over to the spectators and shouted, "HIT THE DIRT!" Being the closest to the action, Axel, Allyson, Fidel, and Blair ran as fast as they could before they dove into the ground, while the Golem exploded to pieces and nailed the boys' Life Points.
Jaden/Claudio/Jesse: 5000
The J-Hero duelist looked back at the destruction that explosion caused, seeing that hit a good chunk off the Academy Building. And he glared back at Marcel who smirked.
"Didn't like that?" Marcel taunted, "Good; because I have so much more in store for you! So much pain to deal you that is long overdue Claudio!"
'What in the world is he talking about,' Melody wondered as she watched from the Academy roof, 'The most Claudio's ever done for Marcel is greeting him into Ra Yellow... he's never done any harm...'
"I suggest you focus on the opponent's and not us..." Claudio grunted, "You won't win!"
"That's it, fine! Make it enjoyable for me to break you!" the possessed Ra laughed as he activated another Spell card, "I play Fiend's Sanctuary to play a Metal Fiend Token!" He continued as a small monster made up of silver ball bearings with dark markings on them appeared (1/0/0) "And then I end my turn by placing one card facedown and sacrificing all three Fiend Monsters to Special Summon Raviel, Lord of Phantasms!"
"WHAT!?" Everyone watching the duel shouted as the Metal Fiend Token and the Grinder Tokens all vanished into dark light pillars and merged into one. Soon, another massive pair of red eyes glowed, appearing through the darkness as a massive blue demon appeared spreading it's enormous wings out, it's sharp claws gleaming in the light of the arena. It's tail swung about as everyone stared up at the monster. (10/4000/4000)
"He's got him out already!?" Kenji shouted, "Damn, this is bad! The last time he was summoned, Uria and Hamon had to be on the field with a Spell Card to play the monsters required..."
"I told you I wouldn't pull any punches," Marcel grinned, "Now our team's third duelist will have enough power to silence all three of you!"
"Then let me make sure you don't do too much," Claudio announced, drawing his sixth card, "I summon Jukebox Hero Cool in defense mode!" He stated as he set his next card onto the field, summoning a brown haired man in an all black outfit consisting of a dress shirt and pants with a sliver belt inside the loops. In another flash, a white blonde man appeared with the same attire as Cool and Armstrong except his black shirt was sleeveless and he carried a white bass guitar. (5/2100/1900)
"But I also gain a Phantasm Token on my field with your Normal Summon in defense mode!" Marcel pointed out, as a miniature version of Raviel appeared in front of Marcel. (1/1000/1000) "Courtesy of Raviel's Special Ability!"
"Now I end my turn with a facedown card," Claudio concluded.
"It's my turn," Jacinth announced, drawing his sixth card. He opened up his side slot on the disk, "Let's see how you like my Field Spell, Dark Hour rise!" Everyone watched as the House of Sand disappeared and then warped into the darkened city with the green moon illuminating the field.
"Oh man..." Jesse muttered, "This must be the Field Spell Chazz warned us about..."
"Yes," the Shadow grinned, "And I bet he didn't have the foresight to tell you about THIS!"
"WHAT," Jaden and Claudio gasped as they saw their Monsters started holding their heads and screaming as they melted to black sludge and then morphed into black coffins, "MY MONSTERS!"
"They're inside coffins..." Jesse whispered.
"That's right; you two are now powerless to fight!" Jacinth laughed, "All Warrior Monsters who are not Persona or Shadow cards are now shifted into defense mode and will remain there! But you should actually thank me... that coffin is a safe haven against the Shadows. Only, I know you three are dumb to fight them only to be devoured in the end!"
The Crystal Beast Duelist groaned, "That means, I'm the only one who can fight..."
"I set one card facedown and choose to end my turn here." Jacinth concluded.
Hearing this, Marcel snapped at the Shadow, "You didn't attack!? None of their monsters could withstand the attacks of ours!"
"I wait for the opportune moment..." the Shadow replied smugly, "Besides; why kill them now when you can get what you really want from your former best friends?"
'Former best friends?' Jaden and Claudio asked themselves.
"And now it's my move," Jesse announced, drawing his sixth card. "I activate my Continuous Spell Card, Crystal Tree!" He declared, putting his Spell card inside. From the ground a leafless tree had sprouted with only branches. "Next, I summon Crystal Beast Emerald Tortoise in defense mode!" He announced as his emerald-shelled tortoise appeared in front of him. (3/600/2000)
"Another Phantasm Token is summoned!" Jacinth interjects, bringing out another small clone of Raviel in front of the original (1/1000/1000)
"Then, I end my turn with a facedown card."Jesse concluded. "Now let's see what we can do here!"
"Now, the fun can begin," Xiu Zhen giggled, drawing her next card and she widened her eyes at the next card she would draw. "Ooh! I see my next card! Now, I activate the effect of Archfiend's Oath! I pay 500 Life Points to guess my top card. And I say it's Hamon, Lord of Striking Thunder!" She stated as a red aura translated her payment
Xiu Zhen/Marcel/Jacinth: 7000
Everyone gasped as she drew her next card.
"And then, I send all three Continuous Spell Cards to the graveyard in order to play Hamon, the Lord of Striking Thunder!" The three Continuous Spells broke apart into pixels and lightning bolts began striking out of a yellow vortex, damaging field even more and sending everyone but the six dueling participants running for cover until the vortex exploded, revealing the second Sacred Beast. It had a great pair of wings, a golden body, lengthy limbs that ended up in slightly curved feet and hands, his huge claws glinting in the light as his bony tail swayed from side to side. (10/4000/4000)
"I really gonna hate what's going to happen next," Claudio muttered.
"Now, I switch Dragon Queen of Tragic Endings to attack mode and then I attack with Hamon! Use Cerulean Skyfire!" The smaller dragon stood up and uncovered her body from her wings. Then Hamon, charged up electricity and fired a blast heading for Clayman's coffin...
"I activate Jaden's Clay Charge Trap Card," Jesse announced, revealing Jaden's facedown card, "This will destroy both Clayman and Hamon, but you'll be taking 800 points of damage for the team!"
"I activate my Counter Trap card, Dark Bribe," Xiu Zhen countered, revealing her own facedown card, "Sorry, but your Trap is negated. But don't worry, in kindness, you can draw a card!"
Jesse drew as Jaden's trap card disappeared. The electricity zaps Clayman's coffin, surrounding it in a massive blast that forced Jaden to cover his eyes but nothing happens.
"Jaden!" Allyson shouted in fear and worry.
But as soon as the blast ends, the coffin never broke apart and deflected the blast towards the sky! Jaden was unharmed! "Wait a second!?" Xiu Zhen and Marcel shouted, in shock. "How did that coffin survive?"
"Any Monster affected by Dark Hour cannot be destroyed by battle..." Jacinth suddenly explained, gaining the angry glares from his tag partners, "Sorry, forgot to mention that."
"No, you're helping them!" Marcel growled.
"You could have had something that deals piercing damage," Jacinth stated, "So don't even get snippy with me..."
"That means only Jesse's monsters can be destroyed," Crystal realized, "And they won't be sent to the graveyard unless Jesse does it himself!"
"I end my turn by sending a card facedown," Xiu Zhen growled, "You got lucky, Jaden... but I will have what I want and that is you!"
"Let's see where that gets you," Jaden retorted, drawing his next card. "I summon Neo-Spacian Grand Mole!" He declared as the drill collared mole appeared, (3/900/300) "And since your Monster Zone is all used up, you can't summon anymore Tokens!" He stated, "And then I attack Hamon with my Grand Mole... and when he battles, he'll send himself and Hamon back to our hands with no damage involved!" Grand Mole's collar attached together to make the drill and then launched himself into the Lord of Striking Thunder...
"You fell right into my hands," the Possessed Silfer girl smirked, revealing her facedown card, "I activate my trap card, Chaos Burst! By sacrificing my partner's Phantasm Token, I get to destroy your Mole and deal 1000 points of damage!"
Before Grand Mole could reach Hamon, a pillar of flames crashed into him and destroyed him. Then Jaden felt the burning red aura around him, making him cry out in pain.
Jaden/Claudio/Jesse: 4000
Xiu Zhen giggled and smiled seductively at the E-Hero duelist, "Are you enjoying my love, Jaden? The same when we were separated? Are you beginning to remember me now!?"
Fidel cringed at bit at the last sentence being screamed, "What happened to this girl!? How come she's so obsessed with Jaden?"
"I would say it's a manner of a past relationship," Axel mused, "But looking over the files of Jaden while we worked for Viper, he's never met Xiu Zhen before this year..." He then looked over to Claudio and Marcel, noticing the look of disdain from the latter for the former, "The same goes for Claudio and Marcel, and why he hates him..."
"It's because of those arms," Kurogasa stated, causing all eyes on him, "They're feeding off Xiu Zhen and Marcel's darkness... and those feelings might be coming from those same arms, too..." The West Academy duelists looked confusedly towards the Haos Duelist, "Hard to believe, but we're in this dimension with all this crazy mess happening..."
Axel and Fidel had no argument for that explanation...
"I end my turn with another facedown card." Jaden concluded.
"And from that expression it's my move," Marcel announced, "And my chance to end it all! I activate Raviel's ability! I can send my partner's Dragon Queen to the graveyard and he gains its ATK until the end of the turn!" Raviel grabbed the Dragon and melted it into dark mist. Then the mist flowed into Raviel's mouth, filling him with more power. (10/4000-5900/4000)
"I think you forgot that are Warrior Monsters can't be destroyed in battle, plus we take no damage from them while in defense mode," Claudio stated.
"Then it's a good thing that, I activate the Equip Spell Fairy Meteor Crush and place it on Raviel," the possessed Ra smirked as he inserted the Spell card, surrounding Raviel in a sparkling aura, "Now I can deal piercing damage, and I'll go after that Jukebox Hero Cool, ending the game!"
"And you doubted my Field Spell," Jacinth chuckled.
"Oh no," Jesse gasped as Raviel began to reach out for one of the coffins, containing Jukebox Hero Cool.
"Not so fast, I use Negate Attack!" Jaden announced, revealing his facedown card. The trap card emitted a spiral vortex that blocked Raviel's clawed hand and made him retract, "Now I can stop your monster's attack and end the Battle Phase!"
"You meddlesome fool!" Marcel snapped.
My move," Claudio announced, drawing her next card, "I activate Mystical Space Typhoon to destroy Fairy Meteor Crush!" He stated as another windstorm kicked up, blowing the sparkling aura off the Sacred Beast.
"Good, they won't have to worry about piercing damage," Valencia noted, "And they can keep their sturdy defense!"
"Doesn't change the fact that they are powerless to attack," Kai sadly added, "Jesse doesn't have Warriors, while Claudio will have to use his Machine Tuners to Synchro Summon any non-Warriors on his field. And then Jaden needs to use his Neo-Spacians in order to make a proper move."
"I end my turn by placing this monster facedown," Claudio concluded, as a set monster appeared and then sighed, 'This is frustrating; it may be protecting us, but this Dark Hour is like a cage to keep us inside. Jesse can't fight them off by himself, even if he's able to summon Rainbow Dragon at the time... We need that card Chazz gave us!'
"It's my turn then," Jacinth smirked, drawing his next card. "I activate my Continuous Spell, Temple of the Kings!" He announced as the tower behind him was replaced with the interior of an ancient temple. "With this very card, I can activate all the Trap Cards on the same turn," He grinned, inserting two cards into his disk, "Now I can activate all three cards on the spot, which includes the one I saved: Begone, Knave!, Skull Lair and Skull Invitation!" He announced as all three of his facedown cards were revealed to be Continuous Trap Cards!
"Oh crap..."
"Now I send all three Continuous Traps to the graveyard to summon MY Sacred Beast: Uria, Lord of Searing Flames!" He announced as all three Continuous Trap Card had erupted into burning pillars of fire and created a vortex above them. Descending from it, a large, red, serpentine wyvern appeared flying with its winged arms. It had spikes running all over the back of its body and its head had two mouths with a blue jewel in the center. Staring down the opposition, Uria let out a bloodcurdling roar. (10/0/0) 'Its disturbing that I have to use this monster instead of my Shadows, but the power it has fuels me even more! I can keep this body all I like!'
"All three Sacred Beasts are on the field," Alexis gasped.
"Until Jaden and Claudio can find away to get some form of an attacker, it's all on Jesse now," Kenshin stated. "And the Rainbow Dragon..."
"Now to let loose it's power," Jacinth announced, "Uria gains 1000 ATK for each Continuous Trap card in my Graveyard! So with three, he's in a pretty good standard, don't you think?" Uria roared once more as his power was set. (10/0-3000/0) "And now, I send in Uria to destroy Jesse's Crystal Beast with Hyper Blaze!" He announced as Uria unleashed a massive flame from its lower mouth, blasting Emerald Tortoise into a fragment of its crystal.
"Now that Emerald Tortoise has been turned to crystal, my Crystal Tree activates and places a Crystal Counter onto its branches." Jesse stated as a rainbow fruit grew on the tree. (CT: 1Token)
"And I'll activate Uria's effect to destroy a Spell or Trap card on the field," Jacinth stated, "And I'll choose that tree!" Jesse grumbled as Uria roared, letting a shockwave that shattered the tree. "I hope I didn't dash your chances at Summoning the Rainbow Dragon, did I?"
"Oh no," Crystal gasped, "That was Jesse's chance to play the Dragon quick!"
"He'll have to Summon all the monsters he can now..." Valencia sighed, "And the only chance that he can summon is two since three Zones are occupied by coffins."
"I end my turn with two facedown cards to defense mode," Jacinth smirked.
"My move," Jesse announced, drawing his next card, "I summon Crystal Beast Sapphire Pegasus in defense mode!" He stated as the winged horsed appeared on his side. (4/1800/1200) "And he lets me place Ruby Carbuncle on the field with his Special Ability!" He continued as a Ruby fragment appeared on his. "And then, I play Double Summon to play my Crystal Beast Cobalt Eagle in defense mode!" He then placed the card on his disk, letting the Eagle come out. (3/1400/800)
"I play two Phantasm Tokens with your Normal Summons!" Jacinth countered, as another two Raviel copies appeared to fill up the field. (1/1000/1000) x2
"He's still trying for it," Bastion said, looking on.
"And then, I play Cobalt Eagle's effect to send Sapphire Pegasus to the top of my deck," The Crystal Beast Duelist continued.
"Got it, Chief," Eagle replied as he took flight. Seeing the eagle coming, Pegasus turned into a Sapphire jewel to have his friend take him into his claws. Finally, Cobalt Eagle dropped the jewel into the deck."
"Good show," Bastion realized, "Now Pegasus can use its effect again!"
"Now I end my turn," Jesse concluded.
"And I activate the trap card, Cloak and Dagger!" Jacinth announced, revealing his facedown card. "I heard an interesting tale about a new monster you've acquired." Hearing that put everyone on edge, knowing what was coming out of the Shadow's mouth, "When this card has been activated, I can declare one Monster Card and if it is played on the field, I can remove this card and that card from play! I select Rainbow Dragon!"
"No!" Jesse shouted.
"That was our only chance of getting home..." Melody groaned.
"But they can still get rid of that Trap Card," Mana noted. "They still have a chance..."
"It's my move," Xiu Zhen smirked, drawing her next card, "I'll use Uria's effect to destroy Ruby Carbuncle!" She stated as Uria unleashed another shockwave to shatter the ruby fragment, much to Jesse's dismay. "And then Raviel will send Cobalt Eagle to get his later treatment!" Raviel slashed apart the Eagle, reducing him to cobalt fragments. "I'll end my turn with Mystic Eruption! Since you did lose a Spell Card in the form of your Crystal, you lose 1000 Life Points, boys!"
A flash of white light washed over Jaden, Claudio, and Jesse and damaged them with a shockwave that left them struggling on their feet.
Jaden/Claudio/Jesse: 3000
"I switch Hamon to defense mode to end my turn," Xiu Zhen concluded as Hamon curled up his wings over its body. "It's your turn, Jaden..."
"Now it's the only thing we can hit," Claudio stated to Jesse, "Meaning we need a non-Warrior Monster over 4000 ATK!"
"It's my draw," Jaden announced, drawing his next card, "I activate Pot of Greed to draw two more cards!" He drew out two more cards and looked over his choices, he gasped as he saw a card he never seen before. But then he quickly figured it out, 'This is that card Chazz gave me! It finally appeared!'
Xiu Zhen looked puzzled at Jaden's happiness.
"Sweet! Now it's time to make sure we have some fighting spirit!" Jaden then showed off a Spell Card showing off Aqua Dolphin and Glow Moss' hands reaching out to each other, making a sphere of energy. "I activate the Spell Card Neo-Space Wave! With it, I can send all four monsters on our team's field to the graveyard!" Everyone watched as the coffins holding the three Hero Monsters, plus Claudio's Set Monster, had vanished off the field.
"Now I can bring out four of my Neo-Spacians," He grinned, "Let's go, guys!"
Everyone watched as four different monsters appeared on the field. First, Aqua Dolphin (3/600/800), Air Hummingbird (3/800/600), and Glow Moss (3/300/900) appeared on the field. Finally, a panther with a red cape and blue jewel collar appeared, snarling at the Sacred Beasts. (3/1000/500)
"Alright, and neither of them are Warrior-Types," Jesse cheered.
"But we have to make sure we can get past them first," Claudio noted.
"First, I use Air Hummingbird's effect," Jaden announced as Xiu Zhen's two cards in her hand sprouted flowers. Hummingbird flew up to them and collected the nectar from them, surrounding the boys' in a green aura, "Thanks to this effect, we gain 500 Life Points for each card in your hand!"
Jaden/Claudio/Jesse: 4000
"Next, I send Air Hummingbird and Aqua Dolphin to the graveyard to summon Neos!" Everyone gasped as two of the Neo-Spacians took their leave and Neos had appeared in their place. (8/2500/2000) But as soon as he landed, Neos screamed out loud as he was transformed into a coffin!
"Jaden, what's going on!?"
"Trust me on this," the E-Hero duelist waved off as he inserted another card while staring at Jacinth, "Here's a card you might know about; the Continuous Spell Card, Potential Unlock!"
Jacinth gasped as he saw the image of various scientists experimenting on Elemental Hero Avian, "What the Hell!?"
"Now all Monsters with Hero in its name are unaffected by Dark Hour!" Jaden smirked, "In fact, they become Personas!"
"What!?" Jacinth shouted as Neos stepped out of the coffin and stood with Glow Moss and Dark Panther. "This is absurd! How come I never heard of a card like that!?"
In the dark recesses of his mind, Jachin managed a weak smile, 'Chazz, you came through...'
"That damn useless Princeton!" Jacinth shouted out, as he saw the Black Coat Slifer standing next to Sam, the former grinning, "My other set me up when held me back! My other was calling out to him!"
"Eyes over here," Jaden called out to the Shadow, "Now, it's time for a Triple Contact Fusion between my Neos, Glow Moss, and my Dark Panther!"
Everyone cheered, knowing that if it took two Monsters to fuse with Neos, it was going to be a great thing. The three instantly leapt into the air with the white warrior moving to the middle and the other two to each of his sides. The three slowly melded into one and a brilliant flash of light filled the arena. The light died down slowly to reveal a mostly white creature with black forming on most of the lower body with light green lights gleaming from traces on his body. The new warrior had a large wing span that had white outlines and red skin on the inside of the wings. The warrior's hands had large white claws that appeared rather sharp. (9/3000/2500)
"Meet, Elemental Hero Chaos Neos!"
Xiu Zhen shook her head and smirked, "Impressive, but your monster cannot touch any of our monsters except Hamon while he's in defense mode. So what was the point of bringing him out?"
"Because of his Special Ability," Jaden pointed out, I flip a coin three times and however many times I get Heads, determines the effect! Wish me luck!" Suddenly, three coins appeared spinning in front of Neos and flipped into the sky, everyone waiting with bated breath. Seconds later, they came down to the grounds and what was seen had terrified the Sacred Beast Users... 2 Heads!
"NO!"
"Sweetness! That means all of your monsters' abilities are negated!" Jaden grinned as Chaos Neos was surrounded by dark lightning. "Now let 'em have it!" Chaos Neos then released his energy upon the opposing side of the field, making the three Sacred Beasts and the Phantasm Tokens feel the pain and anguish before they all fell to the ground. Uria, however, was knocked out entirely (10/3000-0/0)
"The Sacred Beasts," Xiu Zhen and Marcel cried in shock.
Jacinth glared at the devastation of the field, 'I knew the Sacred Beasts wouldn't be enough... This is why I rely on my own Shadows to deal fear and pain to my other's enemies… Then again,' He looked towards Jaden, Claudio, and Jesse, 'They are not my enemies... At present, anyway... It depends on what would happen once it's time for my reign...'
"Alright, Jaden," Reyna cheered, "That's my big bro!"
"Chaos Neos, attack Uria with Chaos Fury Flash," Jaden shouted as Chaos Neos closed his wings a bit before reopening them and sending out millions of black bats with electricity surrounding them. They reached Uria, who had no chance of defending itself and was shocked to its death.
Xiu Zhen/Marcel/Jacinth: 4000
"Nice Jaden!" Claudio cheered, "We need a few more attacks like those and then we can win this..." He then stopped, remembering Bastion's words, 'Wait, we got to wait for Rainbow Dragon..."
"I end my turn by Equipping Instant Neo Space to my monster and place one card facedown" Jaden concluded, as a small portal to Neo-Space opened up underneath Chaos Neos, "With this Spell, Chaos Neos can stay on the field even without Neo Space."
"It's my turn," Marcel announced, drawing his next card, "I'll keep Hamon in defense mode, and then use Raviel's effect to sacrifice one of the Tokens and increase his ATK!" He announced as Raviel picked up its small doppelganger and devoured it whole, increasing its power. (10/4000-5000/4000) "And now, destroy that Chaos Neos!"
Raviel unleashed a giant claw swipe towards the Neos Fusion Monster, slashing him into the red puddles of the Field Spell and let the harsh tailwinds blow over Claudio.
Jaden/Jesse/Claudio: 1000
"Cool, but Instant Neo Space has another ability to use," Jaden countered, "Since a Fusion Monster of his left the field, he comes back from the deck!" Jumping out of the same red puddle Chaos Neos fell in, the original Neos had returned feeling exhausted from losing power. (7/2500/2000)
"Enjoy your last moments of life, Claudio," Marcel stated, "You get to have the honor of the last turn..."
"Don't I feel special," Claudio groaned.
"It's cool, bro," Jaden assured him, "You got Neos to work with, and I know you can shut these guys up!"
"Right, thanks," Claudio nodded, drawing his next card. "First, I activate Legacy of the Hero! Letting me draw three new cards while I have Hero Monsters in the graveyard over Level 3," He stated, drawing his three cards. He smirked at his fine, "Nice! Now, I activate Ancient Rules to Special Summon my Level 8 Normal Monster, Jukebox Hero Roadie Riggs!" He announced, bringing out his headliner, and his most trusted Roadie. (8/2500/2000) "And then, I can Normal Summon my Symphonic Warrior Piaano!" Next to him, the keyboard machine appeared. (3/900/1300)
"It's too bad that Dark Hour drains its ATK and DEF since it's a Machine-Type," Jacinth smirked as Piaano rusted over, (3/900-0/1300-0)
"It's too bad that I can change the type of any Symphonic Warrior I choose with Piaano," Claudio countered, "And I choose Fiend Type!"
Jacinth grumbled as Piaano transformed into a dark orange color with the keys looking more like sharp, triangular teeth. (3/0-900/0-1300)
"I wonder what's coming out of this Synchro Summon," Melody wondered, "I don't know of any Fiend-Type Jukebox Hero... even if it's Synchro Monster..."
"Now, it's time for the Synchro Summoning of the duel," Claudio announced, "I tune Level 8 Roadie Riggs with Level 3 Piaano!" He announced as a Piaano played the keys and transformed into three Tuning Rings and surrounded Riggs, reducing him into 8 stars. "And for this, I require a little music!" He grinned, grabbing his guitar, "And oh, how I missed doing this! Twice in one day, baby!"

"Cremator of the Sky, Destroyer of the Ancient World. Release the Elements and brighten the land! Synchro Summon! The Eternal Fire Beast, Ormagöden!"
He started playing a dark, ominous music, while he made his summoning chant. Together, they caused a giant pillar of fire to erupt from the Synchro Summoning. As soon as it reached the skies, Claudio looked towards his opponents and started playing harder and caused it to burn red. Soon, smoke had spread across the skies and blanketed the field and Claudio sang the lyrics.
While he was singing, everyone noticed a massive, clawed hand come out of the smoke. And then another came right after it... A flame spewed out from the smoke, nearly hitting Raviel who stayed alert.
During the Chorus line, the Monster with the claws and flames had finally showed itself to everyone. It was standing on all fours, matching the Sacred Beasts in height. It was an all metal-covered, titan mammoth with lava veins running through its body and many pipes all over its back. Its face contained sharp teeth, curved horns on each side, and eyes that were constantly on fire. It then let out a huge roar that made flames erupt all over its body! (11/3900/3000)
"No way," Jaden and Jesse shouted, "That's wicked!"
"That's Claudio's Synchro Monster," Melody gasped. "It doesn't look like something he would have..."
"It must be from that other world he visited last year," Mana figured.
Seeing the skies lit up, Jacinth felt disturbed as he winced from the light. "What's going on!? The Dark Hour is not meant to be like this!"
"Let's just say, the Dark Hour is not feeling so Dark anymore," Claudio smirked, "When Ormagöden's on the field, it does that it gains 1000 ATK during my turn!" Ormagöden let loose a fiery roar that caused fire to spew from its metal horns. (11/3900-4900/3000)
"Damn, it can take out Hamon!" Marcel shouted.
"Right you are," the J-Hero duelist shouted as Ormagöden faced Hamon, "Attack now with Fury of the Cremator!" Ormagöden charged at Hamon and tackled it to the ground, ripping apart the wings of the Sacred Beast. Then, the Fire Beast pointed at Hamon's face and blew a flame at close range that shattered it to pixels.
"That was brutal..." Jesse said, widening his eyes.
"Oh ho, I haven't even started," Claudio grinned, "I activate Jaden's facedown card, the Trap Card known as Soul Union!" He said as the card flipped over, showing Elemental Hero Sparkman being enveloped in a bright light.
"Cool, that will increase Neos' ATK by any Elemental Hero in the graveyard," Jaden explained, putting Marcel on edge. "And I think you know which one!"
"Neos will gain ATK from Elemental Hero Chaos Neos," Claudio declared as a ghostly image of Chaos Neos merged with the original Neos, amplifying his power. (7/2500-5500/2000) "And if that's correct, than Raviel... you are dead! Neos attack with Wrath of Neos!" He continued as Neos charged in and jumped over Raviel's head. It then drove down and dealt a powerful chop through the final Sacred Beast, cutting it in half before shattering it to pixels.
"No, they're all gone!" Marcel shouted as his team's Life Points dropped.

"I end my turn with a facedown card," Claudio announced, pleased with his work. "And the best part of this, Soul Union's power up stays active, so I'd be wary of what you'd do next!"
Xiu Zhen growled as she turned to Jacinth, "You'd better get us out of this now. This is all your fault with this Field Spell! It gave them too much of an advantage!"
"Living walls, the ability to use that Continuous Spell card, your hesitance to attack," Marcel clarified, "It's like you wanted them to win!"
"I assure you that's not true," Jacinth scoffed, "But what am I explaining for? Let me use this Field Spell in order to rectify this all," Jacinth scoffed as he drew his next card, "Since there are still two Tokens on the field, I can sacrifice them and summon Arcana Shadow Hanged Man!" He announced as the Shadow chained to a huge cross appeared. (11/3200/3200)
"THAT'S ALL!?" Marcel shouted. "It's not enough to defeat them!"
Jacinth grinned, "Then obviously you forgot about the last time you saw this one! I can give up its attack, since he can't defeat them in an all out fight, to Special Summon a Maya Token!" He announced as a small blob of darkness appeared, wearing the same mask as the Hanged Man (2/1200/1200)
"Where are you going with this!?" Xiu Zhen shouted impatiently.
"I now can sacrifice that same Token in order to deal 1200 points of damage to the opponent," the Shadow elaborated, "And oh... Look at how much they have... 1000!"
"And I wouldn't get to much comfortable on it," Claudio countered, "Ormagoden has another effect to deal with; once per turn, I can't take any effect damage. So all you have are two monsters to serve as walls, while you're forced to take what's looking to be three attacks soon to wipe you out!"
Jacinth was stunned! Someone had stopped his advancements with his own Field Spell. He then growled at the cause, 'My other's relationship to that pathetic Princeton! And I can't do anything about that since he's accepted me as a part of him!' He then grunted as he clutched his head, 'Curses, I'm losing my grip on him! His sorrow plus the Sacred Beast card should have let me keep control until I was able to kill that girl!' He sighed, as he inserted another card, 'Another day...'
"From your silence, I assume you're done," Jesse announced, drawing his next card, "First up, I grow another Crystal Tree in my Spell/Trap Card Zone!" He stated as another tree grew next to him.
"He has another one, nice," Reyna cheered.
"Then, I'll borrow Claudio's facedown card, Monster Reborn to revive Sapphire Pegasus," He continued as the winged horse reappeared, (4/1800/1200) "And with his effect, I can bring Amethyst Cat to join us!" He continued as an Amethyst stone appeared in the back row, sprouting fruit from the tree. (CT: 1C) "And then, I can play Crystal Blessing placing Emerald Tortoise and Ruby Carbuncle!" Two glowing lights revealed the emerald and ruby fragments, sprouting one more fruit. (CT: 2C) "Now, I activate Crystal Tree's effect and send it to the graveyard to place Amber Mammoth and Topaz Tiger on the field!" The tree sunk into the ground and then sprouted an amber stone and a topaz gem out of the ground.
Allyson smiled, "It's coming! He's going to Summon Rainbow Dragon!"
"Not quite," Jacinth scoffed, "You forget about Cloak and Dagger!"
"And I didn't," Jesse smirked, wagging his finger, "Which is why I have something to make sure I take that thing out!"
"And what would that be?"
"With at least four Crystal Beasts on the field, I can summon Rainbow Moonstone Wyvern!" He announced, placing his card on the field. The giant rainbow-colored moonstone appeared in the sky and shattered to release the serpentine wyvern. (6/2400/1000) And behind it, a faint image of another dragon appeared and caused the Cloak and Dagger Trap to react to it.
"What's going on!?"
"My Rainbow Moonstone Wyvern counts as the original once he hits the field," Jesse explained, "So that means Cloak and Dagger's used up!"
"WHAT!?" the possessed children shouted as Cloak and Dagger created a dark vortex that sucked in the Wyvern.
"And now that the field is clear, and I can't believe I can say this, but with seven Crystal Beasts on the field or inside the Graveyard, I can summon Rainbow Dragon!" Jesse shouted placing the card on the field, causing the card to illuminate the field with a rainbow. Glowing to life, all five crystals on Jesse's field shot a beam up into the sky, along with the unicorn. A dark blue beam suddenly shot out from Jesse's Graveyard Slot, joining the other six multicolored beams. The seven swirled together, forming a blinding white light.
Descending from the white light slowly was a powerful white scaled dragon that had a long snake like body, huge white feather wings on the top part, a sharp spike sticking out the top of its head and off the back of the head, a pair of wings off the sides of the head, and golden like pronged wings that didn't move. On the sides of the top part of the dragon were seven jewels, on for each color of the other creatures. It let out a powerful roar that showed off its power. (10/4000/0)
"Alright, he did it!" Crystal cheered.
Valencia couldn't help making a proud smile at her best student summoning one of the greatest monsters in the game, even if it was just made. She could immediately tell this dragon held more power than the ATK and DEF showed on the card.
"I hope you're ready to check out the power of my new friend here," Jesse announced, "Because this monster is going to end it all!"
"So you say," Xiu Zhen growled.
"I assure you that we will be victorious this day," Marcel added.
"I activate my trap card," Jacinth announced, "I play Shadow Shield! With this, I can protect one monster from being destroyed in battle, and that will be my Hanged Man!" He stated as a dark smoke enveloped his Arcana Shadow. "Also, you can only attack with the weakest monster you have! And from current ATK it's Rainbow Dragon!"
"Then, I'll just show off my Dragon's power," Jesse announced as Rainbow Dragon charged up power, "Rainbow Dragon, attack with Rainbow Refraction!"
Letting out a massive roar, the white dragon opened its jaws and took aim at the weaker blue and purple creature. Rainbow colored energy immediate licked the tip of the dragon's jaws, seemingly waiting for the perfect moment to be released. Finally, the dragon shot a beam of rainbow energy straight at the weaker creature. The smaller creature howled in pain, causing Jacinth to scream loudly as well.

"I end my turn with a facedown card!" Jesse concluded.
"Well done, Jesse," Valencia smiled.
"That was awesome," Crystal shouted to him.
"Nice one, bro," Allyson cheered.
Claudio whistled, "I hope you were letting us in on the fun; I like to have a chance to call that attack!"
"He's right," Jaden asked, "Although it would be wrong to ask for a trade!"
"Sorry, these guys are staying right here with me," Jesse said, winking at them, "But thanks for the compliments!"
"Enough! It's my turn," Xiu Zhen announced, drawing her next card, "Now I'll end this all sacrifice Maya Token to summon Dark Summoning Beast!"
Everyone watched as the token disappeared and in its place was a strange looking creature that had large red wings with grey in them, a red kilt wrapped around it's waist that stretched to the ground, a mostly dull black looking skin, long arms, a strange head with a pair of horns that stretched up and down, and a pair of thick shoulder pads. (5/0/0) Jacinth sneered at the sight of his monster being used as fodder.
"And then, by giving him up I can bring back the Sacred Beasts," She continued as the fiend vanished into dark smoke that spread across the field. And rising from it, were Raviel, Hamon, and Uria ready to go again. (10/4000/4000), (10/4000/4000), (10/0-4000/0)
"Your monsters don't hold a candle to ours," Claudio shouted.
Xiu Zhen laughed, "You're right... I should have brought out a monster that does..." She then grinned, "And I will!" Everyone gasped as she said that, "Now I remove all three Sacred Beasts from the game to Special Summon Armityle, the Chaos Phantom!"
Lifting up into the air, one by one, the three large creatures were pulled into the sky towards a green shimmering portal. The three slowly slid into the portal, with all three of them vanishing completely. The portal slightly shimmered upon this and suddenly began glowing even brighter. Descending slowly from the portal was a creature with yellow nearly see through wings like the large dull yellow creature had had, a set of blue and yellow horns, large red shoulder pads with spikes sticking out, an arm that had the red dragon like creature on it, the other arm corresponding to the large blue and purple creatures, and the rest of the body appeared to be a blend of the three creatures combined into one. Upon landing onto the field, the new creature let out a horrendous roar, shaking the entire island and sending debris falling within the dueling arena. (12/0/0)
"Oh great," Axel groaned, "0 ATK and it's a level 12 Monster combined of the three Sacred Beasts!? I don't like the looks of this!"
"During our turn, this monster has 10,000 ATK! It's over!" Xiu Zhen shouted and laughed as Armityle growled, (12/0-10000/0) "I can finally have what I want; Jaden to myself, and everyone else away from him!"
"Man, she sounded like Lola when she was possessed," Claudio cringed.
"Stop this now!"
Everyone turned to see Blair running up the stairs and to the sides of the field with Kurogasa, Allyson and Mikoto following them.
"Oh no," Jesse gasped.
"You guys, get back!" Jaden shouted to them.
"We were trying to get Blair to stop coming here," Mikoto stated, "But we were recovering and too late to stop her!"
Kurogasa shuddered at the immense darkness he felt in his presence, "Damn, I thought the Bio-Bands were giving up way too much darkness, but now I know the source!"
Allyson decided enough was enough as she stood by the E-Hero duelist and shouted, "And I'm not leaving the both of you behind!" She then hugged Jaden, as he was the closest and the main target of the opponent's fury, she thought.
Seeing this, Xiu Zhen had an unsettling glare in her eyes, 'NO! You're supposed to love me! Not her!'
"I can't," Blair replied, "That monster has my friend, and I want him back!"
"Oh these bodies," Marcel smirked, looking over himself, "Fine, we'll give them up. Thanks to Viper and his Bio-Bands, we were able to form these arms to possess these dark, lonely, souls. And with the Dueling Zombies, we were able to collect enough energy to leave these lumps of flesh in order to create our bodies once more!"
"That does it," Jaden shouted, "Who are you two, now!?"
Jacinth saw this as his chance to get what he wanted, so while the focus was on his cohorts, he slipped away into hiding until the time was right.
Sparks of light erupted from Xiu Zhen's and Marcel's bodies as they finally slumped over and fell to the ground. But in their place, two more figures emerged.
Behind Xiu Zhen's form, a glowing orange form had appeared and then energy began to recede, beginning at the form's feet. The aura receded upwards, revealing first a pair of legs, with the right being covered in sickly dark pink skin, the left in what looked like black clothing. At the form's right upper thigh, the same black clothing that was on the left leg appeared and ran up to the form's hips. The clothing formed a V off of the hips, leaving a great deal of skin exposed. Continuing to move upwards, the failing aura revealed more sickly pink skin from the creature's hips, along with its stomach. Just above the creature's midsection, the black material formed once more, with a strip going across its left rib cage, but only a strip. On the chest, the material formed covering for what looked like a pair of breasts. The material snaked over the creature's right shoulder and formed two spikes on its shoulder, while two spikes formed on it's left one. The material ended on the creature's right arm at its elbow with two spikes, but the arm was clawed and had brown skin on the top half of the arm where the duel disk was used. On the left arm, much scalier brown skin formed with claws at the end. Moving to the creature's back, the aura revealed a pair of bat like black wings with a dark shade of purple inner part of its wings. Reaching past its neck, the aura vanished from the creature's head, revealing a feminine face with light blue lips, white spiky hair on the right side of its head, with purple spiky scales on the left side.
And then, behind Marcel's form, a pitch black form appeared with its aura receding. The form revealed to be an all black creature with having bottom portion of an eight-legged spider with a giant, black eye at the waist. The torso showed off a muscular six-pack and around the back led to multiple spikes sticking out, ending around the right side where an arm should be. Its only arm was his left that had the duel disk attached, Marcel used. Finally, its visage showed a horrifying row of teeth along with piercing, yellow eyes and horns sticking outside the air.
Both demonic monsters picked up the bodies that they inhabited and tossed them aside, where Blair caught Marcel's body, and Kurogasa caught Xiu Zhen's. Once done, they turned to Jaden, Claudio, and Jesse.
"Finally, we're all put together," the female demon said happily, stretching out her wings.
"Yes, it has been awhile since I was whole," the male demon laughed lightly, flexing its claws.
"Who are these two?" Jesse wondered, "Are they Duel Monsters as well?"
"None that I can recall," Axel stated, after hearing Jesse question.
"Yeah, these diablos are nothing I know about," Fidel agreed.
Adrian, from his hiding place, stared at the two monsters with a stunned look on his face. 'Are they what I was looking for?'
Seeing the female demon, Reyna gasped at the sight and looked horrified, 'Oh my God, it's her! No wonder she's after Jaden'
The female demon looked longingly at Jaden, who still looked stunned, "We're finally reunited, my beloved Jaden!" But when Jaden didn't respond, "Why don't you say anything? It's me, your dearest friend that you loved... I was the one who protected you and your sister as children and the one who took care of those who stood in the way of our happiness! The ones who prevent you from summoning me!"
Jaden gasped and stepped back as he said one name, "Yubel?"
Everyone watching gasped at Jaden's declaration of the monster's name. Reyna was the only one, feeling overly shocked at her assumptions proven correct.
The male demon glared and chuckled at Claudio, also relished the sight of the J-Hero's fear at his presence, "We meet again, Claudio! Your friend from your childhood has come home..." He then growled and shouted, "To destroy you for throwing me away! After I given you countless victories over your opponents, and sent those weaklings away for their poor skills, and now you must pay me back.. with your LIFE!"
Claudio's look went completely terrified as he uttered the name of the monster across from him, "Trageodia... No, you're.."
The shocks from the spectators continued as Claudio said the name, and it even sunk in that Claudio once owned a monster like that. They failed to see how did Claudio come across such a Monster.
Melody gasped as she looked between her boyfriend and the monster that claimed to be owned by him at his young age, "Claudio had that... thing!?"
Yubel then had a disappointed look at Jaden, "Yes, it's me Jaden... I finally came back to give you the love you have given me once you sent me away... all alone... I plan on catching on old times!" She then pointed to Jaden's Chaos Neos, "Armityle wipe out Neos and Ormagoden, but leave Jaden for me to have and Claudio for my new friend to destroy! And while we're at it, destroy that Rainbow Dragon, its owner, and THAT girl for trying to steal away my Jaden!" She said, mostly glaring at Allyson who gasped.
Tragodia continued to glare at the frightened J-Hero duelist, and grinned at his partner's declaration, "Prepare yourself, Claudio... It's time you paid me back for discarding me years ago! Once your beast is gone, there will be no one to save you!"
Letting out a massive roar once more, the combination creature's jaws opened, exposing a dark orange energy beginning to build up in it's mouth. The energy continued to build larger and larger, and seemed as if it would be larger than the creature's entire head. In an earth shattering blast, the combo creature finally released a stream of dark orange energy straight for the black and white warrior, who stared at it coming towards it. Jaden glared defiantly, but in fear as the attack came closer and made sure he was in front of Allyson to protect her.
"I play my face down card!" a voice called out, waking everyone from their thoughts. Glancing over at Jesse, the Hero Duelists saw that Jesse's face down card was rising up. "It's time I did my part in saving Claudio, and Jaden, who protected my sister, no matter what you say or do Yubel and Trageodia, and here is my proof! I'm activating my spell Prism Wall."
Shooting up out of the ground in front of the black and white warrior with no warning was a glass wall. A series of walls began shooting up also, seemingly building a pathway towards the large white dragon.
Glaring at the walls, Tragoedia yelled "What have you done!?"
Chuckling lightly, Jesse calmly said "I just saved the boys. See, my Prism Wall forces your monster's attack to be redirected towards my Rainbow Dragon. But I'm not going to allow you to destroy Rainbow Dragon either, by no means. I play his special ability! By sending all my Crystal Beasts on my field to my Graveyard, I can add 1000 ATK to my dragon for each one."
Eyes widening, Yubel asked shakily "You mean you can raise that dragon's strength!?"
"Sure can!" Jesse confidently remarked. "I send all six of my Crystal Beasts on my field to my Graveyard, thus raising the strength of Rainbow Dragon!"
Glowing one after another, the four crystals on the field in front of Jesse vanished, causing the gems on the sides of the dragon's body to begin to light up with a bright glow each. Sapphire Pegasus and Ameythst Cat on the field then transformed into crystals as well and vanished, causing two more gems on the dragon's body to glow to life. Letting out a heavy roar, the white dragon's power increased greatly while rainbow energy began to gather in its jaws. (10/4000-10000/0)
"Let's finish this! Rainbow Dragon, counter with Rainbow Refraction!" Jesse cried out.
The dark orange energy that had been traveling towards the white and black warrior suddenly hit the glass walls and began snaking its way towards the Crystal Beast dragon. Opening its jaws, the white dragon fired a beam back of its own rainbow energy. The two blasts struck one another, causing a fierce explosion to erupt onto the field and through the top of the Prism Wall, sending debris flying everywhere. Over the skies, a portal was opening up over the field and spreading towards the Academy building.
Jaden and Claudio were instantly thrown off the dueling site, but were quickly caught by Melody's two Dark Magicians. The boys had lost consciousness while the battle in the dueling ring continued on.
Growling lowly, Yubel screamed "Your pathetic dragon can't win! I will have Jaden, no matter what you do!"
"And you will not hinder my revenge against Claudio!"
"That's where you're wrong." Jesse informed. "You see, this duel was over the moment I activated my Prism Wall. Even though our monsters are evenly matched, Prism Wall's secondary effect will take the last of our life points. When the battle ends between the two monsters, Prism Wall inflicts damage to the controller of the card and my opponent equal to the total of the monster's attack points that got the attack redirected to it. In other words, we're both about to lose 10000 life points. Not even I will survive this, but since Jaden and Claudio were blown off the field, they will despite the fact that we shared life points."
Eyes widening in shock, Yubel's mouth was hung open and asked "Why would you go so far to protect them!?"
"Because, they're my friends, and I swore I'd protect them, especially Jaden. I know for sure he'd do the same for me." Jesse answered. "Not to mention, my sister loves Jaden; that gives me more incentive to do so, considering that he's made her happy over the last year!
Glaring at him, Yubel's jaw clenched while hatred poured out of her eyes. Reaching out with her hands, she snarled out "I will not lose Jade you! For your interference, I will take you away from him, like you took him away from me! And someone else is coming with us!"
Opening her right hand, Allyson had suddenly appeared in her clutches, and was unconscious.
Staring at her in shock, Jesse yelled out "Allyson!"
"Do not fear." Trageodia smirked, "Come, we will go to a world where you will forsake your precious friend. So you will be close to your sister!"
With Yubel's words spoken, the two began to be sucked up towards the portal. The two warring creatures vanished slowly into the portal first to maintain the dimensional gate, soon followed by Yubel, Tragoedia, and Allyson. Jesse was nearly to the portal, but glanced down at Academy building where everyone was gathered around the entrance way.
Feeling sadness in his heart, he sadly smiled and said "Jaden, be strong, and thanks for everything."
Upon his final words being said, Jesse was pulled into the portal, vanishing completely from sight along with the portal. Once through, a white light enveloped everything to bring everyone else home...
