Narrator's POV

Tail's let out a huge breath in relief that sonic didn't come on to the ship. He went straight to work typing away on the computer. Cosmo stood behind him with her hand on his shoulder.

"Are you sure this will work?" She asked him nervously

"Only one way to know for sure." Tails replied as he hit enter

An eye scanner rose up in front of Tail's as he grabbed it and placed it on left side his head, but kept his left eye closed. He kissed Cosmo and went down to his back up x-tornado and took off.

Knuckle's POV

I slowly woke up to find myself underwater wearing a mask. Before I could do anything the water had drained out and a door before me opened. I stumbled out coughing a bit feeling very sore. I looked around to see Rouge in a pod next to mine. I rushed quickly to her ready to break her out until the screen next to her lit up. From what I could make out of it someone had hurt my woman and that they were asking for a death wish. Something caught my eye on the screen as I looked closer to it I noticed that there was two heart beat monitors and something small inside of Rouge. I couldn't understand what it was so I enlarged the screen and I fell to my knees in shock.

"I... I... I'm a father..." I said to myself overwhelmed with joy

It lasted only a second before remembering someone had hurt Rouge which means they also had hurt my child. I could feel myself shake with a rage I've never had before.

"Uncle Knuckles?" Noe called out behind me

"Noe?" I asked surprised as the rage died down a bit "What's going on here?"

"You're in my house, but more importantly," he said appearing before me as I dropped to one knee out of instinct "Rise. This is all a surprise to you, but we need your help quickly."

I nodded in understanding seeing that he was serious, but why did take a knee a second ago? Why is Rouge hurt? What in the hell is happening? I had too many questions to ask and not enough answers.

"Uncle Knuckles listen, I'm sending you to deal with the last robot left to be destroyed." He said as I remember fighting against a few of them before I lost "I know my dad saved Rouge using nearly all of his power to destroy Dr. Eggman's base…"

"ENOUGH!" I roared in rage already knowing where he was going with it

Robots and Dr. Eggman was already more than enough to know who was behind what happened to me and Rouge. I was shaking in absolute rage. He noticed and gave a small nod. Before I knew I was in some place completely different and dark. I heard something headed my way only to stop.

"What's wrong Metal Sonic?" Dr. Eggman spoke to it

"Someone is just up ahead." A machine voice replied

It was if a nerve snapped, I began to growling releasing my aura around me into my fist.

"Light is required to identify. Unknown cause is preventing identification in night vision." The machine said

"Fine." Dr. Eggman replied coldly

As the light came on I immediately rush forward and knocked back the Metal Sonic causing the light to come off.

"Knuckles!?" Dr. Eggman exclaimed in shock slightly backing up

"You…" I barely managed to say grinning my teeth "You… hurt Rouge… and…"

Metal Sonic quickly appeared to the side and tried to attack me. Instantly without looking I threw a punch knocking him straight into the wall. I couldn't hold on to my anger anymore as I let it all out. Revenge for hurt Rouge, revenge for hurting me, and most of all. Hurting my unborn child is beyond the point of just letting you die. I'll make hell look like paradise when I'm finished.

Shadow's POV

This isn't good no matter how I look at it. Had I known he could split himself apart I would've prepared for it, but even more so that Sonic would help that bastard out. It would now make sense as to why Tikal wanted to deal with him along with what happened to her in the past. I would say he's is copying Mephiles's abilities, but I'm sure they're his. I carefully thought of how I would get out of this situation seeing as Invidia was only buying time and there were more than a dozen let alone cutting one in half only causes another to two to appear. I hate to think that the original isn't even in here, but I can't be wasting time. The clones of Invidia were beginning to close in on me. I ready myself holding up my swords when a bright light came down blinding me. I recovered quickly to see all of them pierced with a light arrow. Soon the light covered them completely and turned into nothing.

"Thanks for the save honey." I said looking up to Amy flying down to me

"Oh so even you need help mister ultimate life form." She teased as I chuckled

"Keep it up and you won't be able to walk for a week again." I teased back

At first she didn't catch on until I gave her a look she knew all too well and her face went completely red.

"That's not fair at all…" she mumbled knowing I had won that little battle

"It is too and I know you'll love every bit of it." I said in a loving voice "So, we both win. That aside we have a problem."

"That there is more than one Invidia right?" she asked

"That and Sonic is helping him." I said seeing the look on her face turned into shock

"He couldn't have. There's no way he would ever…" she tried to say until she looked me right in the eyes and said no more

"We need to find a way to deal with Invidia and Sonic, but I'm not even sure how." I said honestly

"There is one way." I heard Noe's voice behind us

"Noe!?" I said in surprised

"What are you doing here?" Amy asked seriously

"There isn't much time left and you need to listen." He said with a look I never seen him make "Everything is almost in place, but dad you need to switch places with Kibo right now. He may not be able to hold up much longer. Mom find Tikal and quickly. Invidia seems to be looking for her so get to her before he can. Also dad."

"Yes?" I asked only to see him walk up to me

"Sorry about this." he was hiding his face

"Sorry for what…?" I asked only to feel something impale into my stomach

Looking down I saw his arm into my stomach. I coughed up a little blood looking up to my son, but he still hide his face. I looked over to Amy seeing that she had her hand over her mouth shocked, scared, and angry. He lend in to my ear and whispered.

"This may hurt, but forgive me dad."

He pulled out his arm and out came a dark sphere of energy. I grunted in pain, but noticed there wasn't a hole in my chest. Amy rushed over to my side worried. I watched as Noe broke the sphere with his hand and the energy began to go into him.

"You need to go now! Mom and dad!" he shouted and disappeared

"What in the hell just happened?" Amy asked

"I would like to know as well, but we need to listen to our son." I said quickly

"But he just…" Amy was starting to say

"He knows what he is doing and he have to trust him, but I'll beat some sense into him for what he just did. He is as stubborn as you." I said standing up

"And he has your 'do things now and ask questions later'" Amy Shot back at me making me sigh in defeat about it

"Chaos Control!" I shouted after giving her a quick kiss
