(Wait, what's the point in me falling in love with Tono-sama…!)
Realizing this, Kasane hung her head.
After all the whole point of today was to make him fall in love with her, she got her priorities wrong here.
Well she was really happy to see a cool Nobunaga today… wait no!
(I wonder how I'll be able to get Tono-sama to think I'm cute)
Stealing a glance, she faced Nobunaga, who was still holding her hand.
The hand that enveloped hers was a little bit warm.
"...What."
Having felt her gaze, Nobunaga looked down at her.
She wondered if he noticed.
That by just strolling through the road, he caught the attention of girls.
She wondered if he knew.
That by just holding her hand she felt incredibly happy and warm.
Though the girls gazed at her with envy, it still held the meaning that she was Tono-sama 'special one' so even that made her elated.
...He probably has no clue.
That she held the sense of superiority whenever she monopolized him, that she held anxiety about her love towards him.
"Oi."
Kasane tugged his hand into an area far from public view; a place where only employees of the mall would seem to venture.
Entering the passage then then embraced Nobunaga, squeezing him just a bit.
It was a sensation and warmth that she was familiar with.
She pushed her face against his chest, close to his heart.
...Somehow, she felt greatly relieved here.
"What are you doing."
Nobunaga was at a loss at her actions.
Even so he did not pull away, it was his way of spoiling her.
"Charging."*
"..."
For Kasane this was truly the case.
Recently they've been both busy and after some thought, she understood that she had a shortage of time with him.
It's like nourishment.
Is there's a scarcity of food you would starve and die.
So how do you fill yourself back up?
...You must trace back to the origin and resupply.
"...You little,"
Hearing an enraged-like tone coming from him, Kasane frantically began to release him.
However, he told her head in one hand and pulled her closer to his chest.
"...Goodness, it's because you're so oblivious that I have so much trouble with you…."
Saying that he roughly ruffled her head.
...Hm?
What's this.
Isn't his heartbeat a little fast?
Noticing that the rhythm of his heart was slightly fast, Kasane perked up and widened her eyes.
Now that she noticed it, his temperature was slightly warm as well.
Could it be.
"...What's with those eyes."
Filled up with happy expectations she gazed up at him while Nobunaga raised hus eyebrow.
"It's nothing."
Kasane told him as she buried her face into his chest.
"Tono-sama, I love you!"
Kasane said, shedding out a wide smile.
"...Well, how do I say this. I wonder how my wife can be such an adorable creature. ...Are you listening to my story, monkey?"
"...I admit that little missy is cute, but please don't tell me such a sweetheart love story when I'm currently heartbroken; you're just making my injury worse! Directorー! !"
At the bar table, a gleeful Nobunaga recited his story to Toukichirou, who was recently rejected to tears by a woman.

Oh Nobunaga, that's too evil of you... But well I hop everyone enjoyed this 'very sweet' (quotes from フクロウ) story. I found this arc to be quite cute. I forgot in which order フクロウ wrote these stories, but I remember reading this second (I went to this weird list not the one in the link I sent you guys) and thought "Wow, I would love to read how Kasane and Nobunaga got together!" To which then I found the rest of the story. (lol) The next arc of pretty much the last one. So we're almost done with this story! I feel a bit conflicted between sad and happy, but I'm glad I've stayed true to my goals in completing this project.
Well got to go back to Owari's Stray, I'll put off Touken Strays just a bit more. So I believe I'll see everyone there tomorrow. Until then, I hope you all have a safe and enjoyable day!
