Meanwhile at Shawn's home, the heavy stormy night continues at Lumiose City as it cities streets were more quiet than usual. The roaring thunder continued as the rain poured heavily making loud ticking against the windows. It was harder for every to sleep with the roaring thunder and ticking. How will they get pass the night? Let's find out…

After all the washing the very morning and special moments, Shawn and Phoenix found themselves tired. Laying in bed yet neither of the two could sleep because of the heavy rain going on outside. They knew they were going to need the sleep for Zeya's field trip starts in the morning on the same day as Blair's anniversary with her late husband.

"Is this storm ever gonna stop?" Shawn grumbled.

"I don't know, Shawn and that ticking on the window isn't helping either." Phoenix answered.

The two sighed together and just laid there under the bedsheets just staring at the ceiling in the dark. Checking the clock on the nightstand, Shawn read that it was only eleven thirty.

"Only eleven thirty pm…" he groaned.

"Oh for Arceus sake… it's not that late either…" she groaned more.

"What are we supposed to do now since we can't sleep?" He asks.

She shrugged, not sure what they can do since it wasn't that late. In an instant a loud lightning strike hits followed by a very loud thunder strike and all the power going off. Shortly after they both heard Abby crying in her room.

Phoenix immediately rushes out of bed to go get Abby. Shortly arriving to her bedroom, Phoenix picked her daughter up and gently started rocking her to try and calm her down. "It's okay. Mommy's here now. Shhhh, sweetie." She spoke gently.

Abby continued to cry loudly as she was still startled from the lightning. Shawn soon came in later to see if they were okay, as he could still hear Abby's crying. "Is Abby okay?"

"Yes, she's fine. Just got a little startled from the thunder. I can't get her to calm down. Shawn help." Phoenix begged.

Shawn takes Abby gently from Phoenix and held her closely to him. He slowly walked around with her rocking her gently as Abby was slowly calming down while he was softly humming a lullaby to her. She cooed a little as he wiped the remaining tears from her eyes and smiled slightly at him. He smiled back at her and she giggled a little. "It's okay, Daddy's here. Daddy and mommy won't let the big bad thunder hurt you."

Shawn poked her nose gently making her giggle and made him chuckle as well. Phoenix walked up behind him to see Abby as well to check on her and him. "I guess I should take lessons from you." She joked.

Shawn sat down with Abby on the couch and continued to rock her gently. Usually this would put her to sleep fast but the weather waking her up this early, Shawn knew it was going to be a while.

"Hey Phoenix, think you can go check on Zeya, this may take a bit."

"Sure honey. Will you be okay with Abby?"

"Yeah I'll be fine with her."

That was all, she needed to hear to know he would be okay with their infant. So turning around she started making her way over to Zeya's room. Yet when came in, she didn't see her oldest daughter anywhere, not even in her bed.

"Zeya? Are you in here?" She calls out to her as she entered the room and looked for her. The room was dense dark and could barely see where she was going. "Zeya, where are you?" She calls out again.

Since she was unable to turn the lights on, she made a small spark of fire using the tip of her talon. It gave a little light in the room but at least she was able to see. There at the very far end corner, she found Zeya, sitting her back to the wall, hugging her knees to her chest, and shaking in absolute panicked fear as she saw something truly traumatically horrifying.

"Zeya, it's me mommy. What are you doing in the corner by yourself?" She asks curiously and worrying.

Zeya didn't answer, she just kept shivering in deep fear.

"Zeya, please. Talk to me. I'm here for you." Phoenix spoke gently, taking a seat next to her while rubbing her shoulder gently to comfort her.

"I... I... I don't want to get sick...not like that, not like that ever…" the Greninja whimpered.

"What are you talking about, sweetie?" She asks worrying.

"That...that one time I got sick with Arnis…" Zeya answered now crying a little.

"I know honey. We were scared too. We didn't know you had it all this time but I guarantee you'll never get it again." She answered and hugs her gently.

"But what if I do, what if I get sick with Arnis again, what of I…" Zeya was unable to hold her tears as she started crying. "I saw a baby sick with it. She was only two weeks old yet almost every day she had to be of life support and half the time they would have to shock her to keep her heart from stopping…"

In truth, Phoenix wasn't sure how to answer that. She had heard from Omen that one time that his granddaughter was so sick it made him that desperate to take an entire cruise ship hostage just for a cure. Later she would hear from Zeya how horrible the little Riolu suffered whenever she would have an attack. Phoenix in a way knew she was lucky she didn't have to see Zeya in that condition.

"Zeya, I know you're scared of you ever having it again. Just know if something does happen, me and Shawn will go through everything till the end of days to help you through this and will never let anything happen to you." She answered while wiping her tears gently.

Zeya sniffed slightly and stopped crying but she still looked deeply scared. "You didn't see how horrible it was, it was so terrible, I mean, Nina was just two to three weeks old and it made her so badly sick. It made Blair's husband so sick that it made Blair kill him just to stop him from suffering. And...it even killed my mom, my other mom who gave birth to me." she cried.

"Zeya, I… if you ever were in that condition. I would never bring it to that point. I would find ways to keep you with us until a cure was found." ]

Zeya wanted to say something but stopped when she and her mother heard Shawn enter her room with Abby.

"Hey girls, is everything alright, what's wrong with Zeya?"

"Yes, we're fine honey." Phoenix answered. She turned back to Zeya for a moment. "Honey, I know you're still thinking about it but don't be afraid to talk to us about. We're here for you, if you need a good talk." She answered gently and kissed her forehead.

Shawn could already guess what the possible problem was. "Had a nightmare sweetie?"

"Yeah, you can say that…" Zeya answered in lowered voice.

The power came on shortly after, allowing Shawn to smirk at an idea he had. "Luckily for us, I know exactly how to help."

Handing Abby over to his wife before leaving the room both Phoenix and Zeya looked at each other in confusion as they soon followed. The girls follow him to the living room They found him looking through their blu-ray movie collection in the living room underneath their T.V.. "Go ahead and take a seat on the couch It'll be just a sec."

Both women were still confused what he was up to but never the less, took a seat on the couch as requested. Watching Shawn dig through the movies some more before finally pulling out what he wanted. To their surprise it was a complete collection of "Batman," the original nineteen sixties T.V. show.

"Batman, NA NA NA NA NA NA NA NA NA NA NA NA NA NA BATMAN!" he cheered.

The two girls were even more confused by his reference and it even made Abby tilt her head in confusion. "Batman? You mean The Dark Knight? Sure we can watch the Dark Knight movie." Phoenix answered.

"Though I'm not sure if Abby can watch it." Zeya pointed out.

"No as in Batman, the original nineteen sixties batman. You two never heard of it?"

Shawn had to face palm himself when both girls moved their heads left and right in no. "You mean that really old Batman?" Phoenix asks curiously.

"Yes that really old Batman played by Adam West. When me, Michael and Nero were kids if we couldn't sleep or had nightmares. We watch the Adam West Batman to give us a good laugh or make fun of how campy the show like bat shark repellant. It's quite laughable when you watch it. Trust me you'll love it."

"Question." Phoenix raised her hand up. "This isn't going to be too dark or mature for Abby will it?"

Shawn's jaw almost dropped to the floor. "Of course not honey. The 1966 Batman was the most kid rated tv show we watched. No swearing, no suggestive themes, there is a little violence but not as gruesome like today's Batman. Trust me honey, I wouldn't be showing it if it had that."

Phoenix looked at Abby briefly and Zeya for a small moment before sighing. "Alright, I guess so."

"Come on, you'll love it." Shawn says as he inserted the disk and picked up the TV remote. Turning it on and starts up the blu-ray and the menu for the movie comes up. "You guys ready for it?"

The girls shrugged in answer, basically telling him to go right ahead. With an excited smile, Shawn pressed play to start and the movie begins to play as it starts with the usual Commissioner Gordon and Bullock until they get a call about Joker's escape from Gotham Prison. He then reaches over for the red phone and calls Batman but was really calling Bruce Wayne with Dick Grayson getting the call about the Joker.

Already Phoenix and Zeya were laughing at how campy the show was, it was nothing like the current modern batman movies. Even Abby was having a good time watching the show. It got only funnier for them when Robin would shout a catchphrase involving "Holy [subject], Batman!" whenever he encountered something startling. Yet what really got them laughing the most was the fight scenes. During the climactic fistfights, the punches and other impacts were punctuated by onomatopoeia sound effects superimposed in bright colors over the action on the screen, as in comic-book fight scenes "POW!", "BAM!", "ZONK!", etc.

Already after finishing episode one the family had completely forgotten their worries and fears and just found themselves just focusing more on enjoying the show and spending time with one another.

And so we end another day with Shawn's family washing away their worries from the thunderstorm and their nightmares. Most importantly, they made a new family event to do once in while. What lies next on their adventure? Stay tuned as the journey continues...

In loving memory of Adam West (September 19, 1928 – June 9, 2017). As Hollywood shines the Bat-Signal brightly into the sky, we rightfully mourn of his passing. He was the the Batman of many people's' childhoods and will go down in history for his role from the campy '60s series and the first man to ever portray the Caped Crusader in theaters. He brought us so much entertainment and was a truly class act. We'll miss you Adam but we'll never forget you as you do the Batsu in Heaven. Rest Well Forever In Peace.
