"So Sif is with my mortal friends?" Thor asked as he looked at the screen displaying the tower. He had wandered over after leaving Loki with his thoughts and noticed his friend sitting with the others at the tower.

"Huh? Oh yes. She arrived a few hours after we left. Sent by Odin to look for us." Rose answered, slightly distracted by her work to reestablish communications with that world.

"Everyone must be worried." Thor thought out loud.

"That's the way people who care about you are. They worry when you disappear and yelled at you when they feel you've taken foolish risks. They also don't realize when they have been neglectful of your feelings while having fun." Rose shrugged.

Thor looked to her. "So you believe I have been neglectful of my brother?"

Rose stopped typing for a moment, turned to Thor and sighed. "Thor I could go to length of what I saw from the day you were to be made king to when you took Loki back to Asgard after the invasion failed. I have seen all that you did wrong, all that you did that hurt Loki. Thor there were so many signs pointing to what Loki was slowly becoming and yet you were too busy thinking only of yourself that you could not see it. Even after you meet Jane you did not truly see his pain. Loki has been hurting for years and everyone but your mother has been blind to it. I know you mean well Thor. You wish only get back the brother you love, the one you grew up with." Rose turned back to her computer and put on her headset. "Sadly though, life is not a kind thing."

Tracy and Alex went back to HQ to report what had happened.

"So Rose believes she can fix communications with that world?"Tracy's boss/brother asked.

"She's trying right now. No idea if she can do it but it might help if some of the IT boys help her stealthily." Tracy suggested.

"Get someone on that now." He ordered a passing person, who rushed to do as he told them.

"Any news on Fox?" Asked Alex.

"At this time he has done no differently then what he has done since he began."

"That's what worries me the most." When all eyes turned to Tracy she sighed. "We're blind and deaf right now. So for all we know Fox just appears to be doing the same old thing when in reality he is doing something far worst then we could ever guess."

Alex appeared thoughtful for a moment. "We often wondered if Fox knew more about us then we do about him. He could know we can't see anything so he's taking advantage of it."

"I have my doubts."

"Why? Why don't you think he's making a big move now?" Tracy asked her brother.

"Because that freak gets bored easy. He knows Rose is against him and he enjoys it. Until he knows she's still in the game he won't make a move. Won't plan anything big." He answered.

"What did you say to Thor?" Loki questioned Rose two hours after Thor had spoken to her.

Rose gave him a confused look. "What?"

"He asked me to tell him about my life, and when I finally told him what he wanted he just listened and then went to the living room where he now seems to be thinking over what I told him. What did you say to him?"

Rose had to think. "I was pretty distracted Loki. I might've hinted at the poor way he treated you growing up. So maybe he is starting to really take a look at what happened to you." She ran a hand through her hair. "I don't really know for sure what I said to him. It just sort of slipped out while I was trying to work out a way to talk to the team."

Loki understood that Rose didn't mean any harm. She just was focused on one thing while doing another. He'd done that once before. And it had taken him mother weeks to figure out how to turn him back after she figured out he had turned himself into a cat.

"It is alright Rose. I was merely surprised by the change in Thor." He then gave her a smile. "Maybe you should've been born on Asgard."

Rose smiled back. "Then I would be an idiot like the rest of them. No thank you."

Loki chuckled as he picked up the tablet and made himself comfortable on her bed. "Time for another episode of Merlin."

"You aren't worried about Thor?" Rose asked.

"No. It's time he did some real thinking. I say leave him be for a while."

Rose shrugged and turned back to her computer. "Alright, but if I smell smoke it means his brain is on fire." Loki laughed at that.

Steve nearly jumped when his headset clicked into life. "Rose?"

"Yes! I got communications back on." Rose cheered.

"Rose what is going on? We just got told you took Thor with you to your world?"

"Ok that was so not my fault Cap. How was I to know standing too close would drag him along? Not like it's happened before." Rose explained.

"So what are you going to do now?" Steve gave Sif a smile to try to put her at ease.

"Well the only way to get him back is for Loki and myself to bring him back. But if we do that then Odin is going to send people after us because he didn't like how I spoke to him. So getting him back might be harder then normal. So Loki and I will most likely spend the 24 wait time trying to figure out how to get Thor back and not get captured by Asgard before we can get back here."

Steve sighed. "What should I tell Sif?"

"Simple, Thor will be back in 24 hours so long as we have a plan." Rose answered like it was the most natural thing in the world.

"Right." Steve sighed. "Rose why did it take you so long to talk to us?"

"The systems that let me speak to and see all of you is off line at the moment. I am using an alternate video feed and had to rig up a set up for the headsets. I don't even know if this will last. For all I know we could only have a set amount of time to talk before it shuts down." Rose sighed.

Steve quickly relaid everything to the team.

"Rosey swap over to me." Tony called.

There was a second or two of silence before Tony's headset clicked to life.

"What's on your mind Tin Can?" Rose asked him.

"Maybe we can work something out. Let me get to my lab and let's get to work on this." Tony said as he left the room.

"Can we truly trust her to bring Thor back?" Sif asked Steve.

"Rose is a good friend and we all trust her with out lives." Steve answered.

"Even though she trusts Loki?" Sif couldn't believe that anyone would trust Loki the way she does.

Steve nodded. "Though it is questionable how much trust she places in Loki, we all trust her in the end. She's never let us down after all."

Tony stepped back into the room. "Rosey wanted me to tell you 'just because you're pissed that I made you look like a bitch you should be old enough not to whine like a baby who's not getting her way.' Her words not mine." He then turned and left listening to Rose laugh at the angry look on Sif's face.
