From the way that John warned her about him, she was expecting someone like Dr. House. Instead she was met by a man in his late twenties or early thirties who looked like he rarely saw the sun or a gym. He did not look unpleasant, or arrogant, or narcissistic. Then he opened his mouth. "If Sheppard sent you, you can go back upstairs and tell him that I don't have time for this. And that if he wants something done he can come down himself and not send his assistant."

"Officer."

"Whatever." He snaps.

Rather than play into it, she decides to take a different approach. "I did tell Sgt. Sheppard that I thought we should go with Zelenka, however, he insisted that I spoke with you first. I will tell him that I was right, after all."

This gets his attention. Rodney stops what he's doing and seems to bristle. "Zelenka?! You wanted to go to Zelenka."

"And since you appear too busy to handle this, I will go speak with him now. It was a pleasure meeting you." Teyla turns her back and smiles as she hears—"No, wait."

"Yes?" She questions, innocently.

Rodney is clearly undergoing some sort of internal struggle but finally his shoulders relax and he holds out his hand, "Give them to me."

She hands over the evidence bags. "Thank you."

He waves her off. As she leaves the lab she hears him snort and mutter, "Zelenka."
