Chapter 36

"Bae is it really you" Rumple asked on the verge of tears

"Yes Papa it's me" Neal mumbled as he took a step forward

"No it can be, you are dead you…Emma said you fell through…and…and you…no it can be it can be" he cried. It couldn't be his son, it couldn't be his Bae, his Bae was dead he was dead, this must be a figment of his imagination, an effect of so many restless nights, of all they had gone through in the past few days, his mind must be conjuring this after his most recent conversation with Belle "who are you" he yelled in anger, who could be this cruel to taunt him with his son's death

"Rumple" Belle said as she took a step forward "are you ok" she asked a little confused

"You see him to?" he asked as he walked closer to Belle "do you…"

"Of course"

"Who are you" he yelled again as he placed himself in front of Belle so that he could protect her, he no longer had his magic but that didn't mean that he was about to let anyone hurt Belle ever again.

"Papa it's me" Neal said again, a little confused by his father's reaction

"Prove it" Rumple yelled "prove it because my son is dead…dead"

"No I'm not" Neal yelled back "I was shot and fell through the portal but someone found me and took the bullet out and…"

"That's a lie…"

"You became the dark one because you wanted to save me from the ogre wars, you made a deal with me and when I found the way to get rid of your curse you chose magic over me, you found me in New York and after everything, after everything we went through you still offered me a magic solution to our problems" Neal yelled on the verge of tears as the memories came rushing in "I trusted you Papa, I trusted you and you let me down, you…you left me"

"Bae" Rumple mumbled while taking a step forward "it really is you" he said and placed his hands tightly on her cheeks, wanting to touch him, wanting to make sure he was actually real "I thought I had lost you…I thought I would never get to see you again son" he cried, but the second he had finished Neal took a step back and removed his face from his father's strong grip

"You are right about one thing" he said as he felt his anger rushing in "you lost me…you lost me the second you let go of me on that portal"

"Bea…"

"No stop" he yelled "I didn't come here to hear your excuses, I didn't come here to hear your explanations, I came here to ask you about my son, my son and…and Emma"

Rumple felt his heart break into a million pieces at his sons cruel words, but he couldn't do anything to defend himself because he knew he was right, he was right about everything he said, he had abandoned him and with that he had cursed him to a life alone, which made since that the last thing his son wanted to do was talk to him. But maybe if he knew, maybe if he could just tell him of the sacrifice he had made, the way he had given up his magic for Henry, maybe that could be a start to gain his forgiveness "Bae"

"It's Neal" he yelled "its Neal, I gave up that name since the minute you left"

"Alright, Neal" Rumple said as he felt his heart break once again "why don't you take a sit"

"No" Neal said "I didn't come here to socialize with you, I came here so that you could tell me about Emma"

"If you came here for Emma why didn't you go to her house instead" Rumple said with curiosity

"Because…" I'm a coward, I told her that I loved her before I fell through the portal and she said iit back. Now I'm afraid that now that I'm back and not in danger she will take back her words, I'm scared that the only reason she admitted to loving me was because she thought she would never see me again "Because I…"

"Because you are scared" Belle finished as she took a step forward and placed herself in the middle of both man "you are scared of what she'll say if she sees you again"

"How…"

"Because you are just like your father" Belle said with a small smile

"I'm nothing like him" Neal protested

"Yes you are" she said sternly "you make a bad decision and then you are afraid, you are scared to face the consequences of that choice, you allow yourself to be govern by fear and therefore you don't confront the consequences of your actions" she said with a smile "but Neal, if you don't change that, if you don't start taking blame for your actions you are going to be a very lonely man"

"Like him" Neal said with venom

"Like he used to be" Belle corrected "your father has changed…"

"He will never change, he will never be the man he used to be, the man I was proud to call my father, his magic, his power, his need to prove that he is not a coward …"

"I don't have magic anymore" Rumple interrupted before his son could finish his hurtful sentence

"What?" Neal asked in confusion

"I gave up my magic, I…"

"Why" Neal asked once again with confusion in his voice, what did he mean by not having his magic anymore, his father would never give up power, he had proven that much to him in the past

"You" Rumple answered again taking a step forward "I gave it up for you"

"Me" Neal said with a sarcastic laugh

"Yes son, I gave it up for you" Rumple said again

"I don't have time for this" Neal yelled

"It's the truth" Rumple yelled "if you would just let me explain" he begged

"Explain what?"

"Everything that happened since you fell through the portal, just let me explain and then you can go, you can go and find Emma…but first please let me explain" he begged as he took a closer step to his son, desperately trying to make eye contact

"Ok, you have five minutes" Neal mumbled as he stepped into the living room and took a sit

After everything his father had confessed to him, after everything he had done for Emma and Henry the only thing Neal could manage to do was run. He ran away from the house without giving his father a chance to stop him. He had done what he always did, run away from his problems, run away from his responsibilities. The truth was that he could not get over the fact that his father had given up magic, if it wasn't for Belle reassuring every part of the story to him, he would have never believed a word that came out of his mouth. The truth was that he didn't know how to handle the fact that his father had finally done what he spent 300 years wishing, his father had placed him first, he had chosen him over magic and even though that had been what he had wanted all his life, now that he had done it Neal didn't know how to take it.

"Good" Peters chilling voice broke his train of thought "what have you got for me Bae"

"Nothing, I'm not telling you anything" he yelled as he tried to take a step back but Peter held him in place

"Oh come on Bae we already went over this" he said with an evil smile as he took out the heart "let's see what you got"

"No" Neal yelled as he attempted to get a hold of his heart, but it was all in vain because with one movement Peter pressed his heart and he fell to the floor whimpering in pain

"Good to see you haven't changed" Peter smiled "but you should know better than to defy me Bealfire "after all we've known each other for quite some time

"What do you want with her" Neal yelled "what do you want with Emma"

"Why do you ask questions you already know the answer to" Peter said evilly "your father already told you, I want her magic"

"No you want more" Neal yelled "like you've said we've known each other for a long time Pan, I know that magic has never been of that much interest to you"

"Oh Bae" Pan said with a smile "you're right, there is more"

"What…"

"I'm not going to tell you, just know that once I leave this place Emma will be coming with me, and I will make sure that NO ONE will ever see her again" he said with a snarl "now let's see what you got"

And just like that Pan saw everything that Rumple had told Neal, from the way they had planned to save Emma to the way she almost lost her life do to the lack of magic on her blood. But then he heard something he had not expected, something that took him completely of guard, Rumple had given his magic to save Emma's life, he had sacrificed his power so that Emma could live and that just made his plan way more interesting and worth it. Because not only will he get more power then he thought , but Emma, his Emma now had dark powers, which meant that this time she might be easier to manipulate, and that made things way more interesting.

"Thanks Bea" he said after he digested everything he had seen "you did an excellent job, if you keep it up I might just give this back to you" he smiled "now go, and remember not a word about your heart, see you later" and with that he disappeared out of thin air, leaving a confused Neal laying on the floor.

"Hello your highness" Hook said as Snow opened the door to their small apartment "sorry to bother you but I was wondering if you could…"

"She's doing ok" Snow said before Hook could finish

"Oh…"

"You care about her" Snow asked interrupting Hook for the second time

"Yes, more than I would like to admit" he said "can I…"

"Grandma who is it" came Henrys voice from behind the door

"Hello lad, how are you" Hook asked as Henry came into view

"Hey are you here to see my mom" he asked cutting straight to the chance just like Swan Hook thought

"Yes…No I just came here to see how she was doing" Hook said quickly, he didn't know why but all of the sudden he felt kind of shy in the presence of the Charming's

"I'm doing fine" a voice said and just like that Emma appeared from behind her mother and son

"Emma what are you doing out of bed" Snow asked in a motherly tone at which Emma just rolled her eyes

"Heard my name and got curious" she answered "plus I'm not an invalid"

"I didn't say you were" Snow said a little hurt "it's just that…"

"I should be out of bed, I know…I' sorry" she said with an apologetic smile "and who are you" she asked

"I'm…" Hook said as he stared at her in confusion, what the hell did she mean by who he was; they had shared a ship for crying out loud

"She doesn't remember anything until the breaking of the curse" Henry explained once he saw the confusion and pain on the captains eyes

"Oh" Hook mumbled "well then the name is Killan Jones" he said with a smile "but most people call me Hook" he said while raising his hook

"You have to be kidding me, HOOK as in Captain Hook?" she asked in confusion

"The one and only" he smiled

"Wow this town just gets better and better" she mumbled "well I'm…"

"Swan, Emma Swan" he said with a smile "I know"

"Of course you do" she mumbled again "so what brings you here Captain?" she asked in a harsh tone, she had read the stories about Peter Pan, which meant that this man standing in front of her was probably a villain, and she didn't have the time or patience to stop a fight or an attempt at murder or whatever the villains in that world did.

"Emma" Snow scolded, which just got her another eye role from the blond

"No its alright your majesty" Hook said with a charming smile, it was good to noticed that at least Emma hadn't lost her bite "I came here to see you lass"

"Me"

"Yes, I was in the ship that brought you back from Neverland and I wanted to check if you were doing ok" he said with a sad tone as he still couldn't get over the fact that she had forgotten him, he knew that they weren't on the best of terms but he also knew that she was starting to trust him, which with Emma, trust meant a step in the right direction.

"Oh" Emma said as she was taken a little of guard and turned her gaze towards Mary Margaret as of to check that he was in fact telling the truth

"When they took Henry, Hook offered his services" Snow explained, they had told Emma almost everything about what she had missed in the hope that she would at list remember something

"Oh well, thanks" Emma mumbled as she felt her eyes lower down in shame at the way she had just treated the pirate

"There is nothing to thank lass, it was my pleasure" he said with a charming smile as he gave her a small wink

At that Emma felt her anger towards the pirate raise once gain and she took a step closer to the door "well I'm fine, you can go now" she said as she attempted to close the door in his face, she was in no mood to be flirting

"Yes, I'll take my leave" Hook said as she placed his hook on the door to prevent Emma from closing it just yet "I'll be back Swan" he said in a low tone so that only she could hear his words "you can't get rid of me that easily" he smiled and with that he allowed the door to close right behind him.

"Who was that" Charming asked as he walked out of the bathroom

"Hook" Snow said quickly and smiled a little at the expression that took over Charming's face

"The pirate" he asked in some sort of anger and jealousy

"Do you know any other Hook" Snow said with a small grin

"So considering the jealousy on your voice, the pirate and I were more than friends" Emma said with sarcasm, even though there was curiosity in her voice

"No, not that we know of" Snow said with a smile "but it's more than clear that he has feelings for you, and you two did understand each other in a way" she added with a shrug as Charming's face turned to one of anger and disgust, which made Emma's interest in the pirate grow, she didn't know if it was the fact that the pirate was extremely handsome, or the fact that she wanted to see how far she could push David, but this wasn't going to be the last she heard about the pirate.

Days went by and even though Snow wanted to think she was ok with the fact that Emma did not remember, she wasn't. She wasn't because the more days passed the more Emma drifted apart from her and Charming. Even though her daughter had agreed to take baby steps in their relationship once again Emma was nothing but distant. The only chance Snow would get to see her daughter was when Emma came into the apartment for dinner, which she made it quite clear that the only reason she made it was because she wanted to spend time with Henry not them.

"Snow are you ok" Charming's tender voice interrupted her thoughts as he took a step closer and pulled her into his arms "you haven't said a word for the past half hour and your breakfast is intact"

"I'm fine" Snow said picking up her plate and walking towards the kitchen, but Charming's strong grip held her in place

"No you are not"

"Yes…"

"What is it?" he asked before she could give him another lame excuse

"What else could it be" she said with a defeated smile

"Emma" he answered with the same defeated tone

"Mmmhhh" she hummed not really trusting her voice, it pained her to talk about the way her daughter did everything in her power to avoid her.

"Snow, she's been through a lot, you're going to have and give her some time, but she'll come around" he said with a charming smile

"That's easy for you to say" she said with a little frustration as she pulled away from him "you get to see her at the station"

"Yes that's true but…"

"No Charming, no buts…she talks to you, she laughs with you, she doesn't even try to avoid you" she yelled "she is mad at me…she blames me" she cried "she hates me not you"

"Snow…"

"Don't even try to deny it David" she said a little annoyed "you and I both know that what I just said is nothing but the truth" she said as she went into her room. She didn't feel like having this conversation with Charming once again. Emma hated her, Emma couldn't forgive her for all the things she had gone through in her life and how could she if Snow couldn't even forgive herself.

But what pained her the most, was the way Emma avoided her. Every time Snow tried to make some small conversation with the blond, Emma would just give her short answer and get out of the room. Snow missed the times when her and Emma would just sit in the couch and talk about their days or about life, as much as it pained Snow to admit it, she missed the days when Emma didn't know she was her mother.

"Snow…"

"I don't want to talk David" she answered harshly

"Good, because that way you'll actually listen to me" he said as he got closer to her "Snow, Emma has gone through a lot…"

"I…"

"No let me finish" he said with a little more strength "she has gone through a lot and for some reason she does blame you more then she blames me" he said with a sad tone "we saw it in her memories how the only person she blamed for the things that happened to her was you…but Snow she does not hate you…Emma could never hate you and the only reason she is succeeding in pushing you away is because you are letting her" he said with another sad smile "and the reason you are letting her is because you feel guilty and until you let go of that guilt…Snow until you forgive yourself, Emma will never be able to forgive you" he finished with a smile

"But…"

"No buts you know I'm right…Emma is pushing you away and you are letting her…so get out of that bed and go talk to your daughter" he said while throwing the car keys in her direction "go she's at the station" he winked.

"Hey kid, how the hell did you do that" Emma said as she sat next the computer "I've been trying for days"

"You just have to concentrate mom" he said with a playful smile, but the color suddenly left her face as he realized what he had just said. It's not that he hadn't called Emma mom in the past but she still didn't remember that he did, and he didn't know if this new Emma would appreciate being called mom "sorry I mean Emma" he said as he took a look at her face

"No kid nothing to apologies for" she smiled "I like it when you call me that" she said with shyness.

"You do?" he asked with a huge grin on his face

"Yes kid, I do" she smiled "can I ask you something"

"Yes" he said a little eager as he took in his mother's shy full look

"Since when did you start calling me mom" she asked as she felt the pain of forgetting the first time he had acknowledge her as his mother

"Well the first was when you saved me from the curse" Henry said with a small grin, he was actually exited that his mom wanted to know more about what she had forgotten

"Oh…" she said with a small smile, so she hadn't forgotten it, she remembered that perfectly clear, Henry lying on the bed dead, it was something she would never be able to forget

"But that was just once" Henry said and didn't miss the disappointed look that took over Emma once again " I started calling you mom the day you got back from the Enchanted Forest" he said with a sad smile, remembering how he had thought he would never get to see her again

"Hey why are you sad" she asked as she noticed the look on his face

"That was the first time I thought I lost you" he said as some tears came rushing down his eyes "and then…and then I really lost you" he cried "you died…you…"

"Hey kid" Emma said while pulling him into a hug to make him stop rambling "its ok, I'm right here" she mumbled "I'm right here and I will never leave you again…not whiningly" she smiled "and you and I both know how stubborn I could be"

"Yes but…"

"Hey no buts…I'm not leaving" she said "I'm never leaving you again" she whispered and with that she pulled him into her arms, taking advantage of the way his small body warmed her cold skin. As for Henry, he cried, he cried for all he had gone through and even though he was breaking Emma's heart into a million pieces she still could not find the way to stop him. What was she supposed to say, there were no words she could find to calm a boy that had gone through so much in his young years so she opted to hold him, hold him and be there for him as he let it all out, giving him the love and care she never had as a child.

"Its ok kid, its ok…cry all you want, let it all out, I'm here" she mumbled

"I love you mom" Henry said as he opened his eyes so that he could look at her "I love you so much" he mumbled "so much"

Emma stared at him for a minute, not really believing what he had just said. He had just confessed that he loved her, and that was something she never thought would come out of her sons mouth. Especially when she had abandoned him, yes she had done it to give him his best chance, and because she had no other option, but her parents had done the same thing with her and she still held some resentment towards them, so why did Henry love her, why did he forgive her so easily "but I gave you away" she said before she could stop herself "I…"

"No" Henry interrupted her "don't, I…I know why you did it and I don't blame you for it" he said quickly "I could never blame you for it, you wanted to keep me but you couldn't"

"I know kid but that…that doesn't change the fact that I gave you up" she said as a small tear escaped her eyes "that doesn't change the fact that you had to grow up with that…with that…"

"She was ok you know" Henry said interrupting her once again "she was a great mother, but she was cursed"

"Cursed" Emma said in confusion as she let out a small laugh. What the hell did he mean by cursed, Regina HAD cursed everyone, she had ripped everyone's lives apart, NOT the only way around.

"Yes" Henry answered "you never read the book did you"

"No" Emma said lowering her gaze in embarrassment at being caught

"Well in the book it says that, her price for casting the curse was giving up the ability to love" he explained with some pain in his voice "that's why it didn't seem like she loved me until the curse broke, but she really did love me, mom" he smiled "you did give me my best chance"

"Henry" Emma said not really believing the words that had come out of his mouth, Regina was evil, she was a monster, there was no way she could ever really love Henry

"No mom, I know that look in your face" Henry said with a smile

"What look" Emma mumbled innocently

"The look you have when you don't believe a word I'm saying" he said with a grin

"I don't…"

"Yes you do" Henry interrupted with a grin "that's the look you gave me every time I told you about the curse" he said "and I was right about that, so why would I be wrong about this" he challenged and Emma couldn't help the guilt that took over her, he was right, he had been right all along and she hadn't paid attention to him

"I'm sorry" she mumbled

"For what" Henry asked as he was taken a little of guard by his mother's sudden apology

"For not believing you" she answered with a sad smile "you were right all along, and I thought…I thought you were…"

"You thought I was crazy, I know" he said with a smile "but it doesn't matter, I knew it was a lot to ask you to believe"

"But…"

"No, you believed…that's what counts" he smiled "and now we are all together and we can finally be a family"

Family, that word always took Emma of guard, family, she had never been a part of a family, she had never had anyone in her life acknowledge her as family, but now that someone did, now that Henry called her family she couldn't help the joy that took over her heart, because she always wanted to be a part of a family and what could be better than forming a family with her son "I love you kid…I love you so much" she mumbled into his hair

"I know" Henry answered with a smile.

"Am I interrupting something" Emma heard Mary Margaret's voice as she came into the room

"No grandma…we were just talking that's all" Henry said with a smile that quickly deflated as he took a look at Emma's face when he called Snow grandma.

"Right, is there something I you need Mary Margaret" Emma said after a second of putting her walls back in place, she still couldn't allow her walls to come down in front of Mary Margaret, especially after all the breakdowns she had the last few days

Snow tried to hide the hurt that took over her at Emma's cold voice but couldn't, she still couldn't except the fact that Emma was so distant with her, but she couldn't let her push her away, not again "yes I was hoping we could talk"

"Talk" Emma said a little too quickly, the last thing she wanted to do was talk with Mary Margaret. In fact that was the reason why she spent most of her time in the office, since the minute Dr. Whale had allowed her to leave her house, Emma spent all the time possible out of that place avoiding her parents

"Yes" Snow said with a hopeful but determined smile "I brought hot chocolate"

"I…"

"I'm going home" Henry said before Emma could come up with an excuse to avoid her mother once again "I have homework" he smiled

"Oh, why didn't you say that earlier kid, I could have helped you" Emma said with a look that screamed traitor on her face, she couldn't believe Henry was doing this to her

"That's ok, I bet grandpa would love to help me" he smiled "plus its math, you hate math"

"I don't…"

"David would love to help you Henry" Snow said as she found back her voice, she wasn't about to let Emma avoid her again

"Bye mom" Henry said as he placed a kiss on his mother's cheek "bye grandma"

"Bye Henry, see you at home" Snow said with a smile, but her gaze never left Emma, who was desperately trying to find a way out.

Once Henry got out of the room Snow walked closer to her daughter, desperately trying to make eye contact with her but Emma was stubbornly staring at the wall "you said you would try" she mumbled as she finally took a sit in front of her daughter

Emma stared at her in shock as she took in the forwardness in Mary Margaret's tone, who was again reminding Emma how far gone her best friend really was "I am trying" she said once she found her voice

"Really Emma" Snow said with a sarcastic smile on her face "you call leaving home at 6 and coming back at 12 trying?" she asked

"That's all I can offer right now" Emma said with a defending tone, what did she expect? to have her calling them mom and dad after everything she had been through thanks to them?

"Really. That's all" Snow asked in a surprise tone

"Yes"

"That's not true" Snow said a little annoyed "that's not true because a few months ago you…"

"I don't remember" Emma yelled before Snow could finish "as much as you want me to I don't"

"I know" Snow yelled back in defeat, this conversation was not going the way she intended at all, she was hoping that she could convince Emma to spend a little more time with them, but her daughter was just being impossible "but you aren't even trying, Emma…"

"Well I'm sorry if what I'm doing is not enough for you" Emma said as she attempted to get up, but Snow held her in place

"Of course it's not enough for me" Snow said as she forced Emma on her chair once again "you are my daughter Emma, you are my baby and I want to spend as much time as I can with you" she said in frustration "I missed 28 years of your life and I…"

"I know I…" Emma interrupted "I know I probably already knew this but why did you am...why did you place me in the..."

"Emma I did it to give you your best chance" Snow said taken a little back by Emma's sudden change of subject.

"Don't. Don't say that" Emma said in anger "tell me why… Tell me why Snow White did it" she yelled "because you didn't do it to give me my best chance, how could you even say that if you didn't even know where you were sending me to" she asked, how could her mother claim that she was giving her, her best chance when she knew nothing about this world.

Snow stared at her daughter as she took in the words that came out of Emma's mouth, because she had never seen it in that way. She had never thought about the fact that she had sent her daughter to a place she knew nothing about. But the truth was that as much as she thought about it, in that moment, in the moment the curse had hit their world she really didn't care, the only thing she was thinking about was of saving her baby's life.

Charming's words from earlier that day came rushing into her mind you feel guilty and until you let go of that guilt…Snow until you forgive yourself, Emma will never be able to forgive you and he was right, she felt guilty, but that guilt would never be able to compare if something worse had happened to Emma. Not that Emma's childhood hadn't been rough, but Snow would have never been able to forgive herself if she hadn't attempted to save Emma's life when she had the chance, if she hadn't saved her from the curse. Because at that time the only thing in her mind was saving her little girl, even if that meant having to live without her for 28 years.

"Alright" she said in what was a lame attempt at a calming tone "I did it because when I held you in my arms for the first time I fell in love with you Emma… and couldn't conceive the possibility of you being cursed if I had the chance to save you" she said with tears in her eyes and didn't miss the water that was now filling Emma's eyes as well "I didn't know whether or not Regina was going to kill you, but I knew for a fact that we would have not been together and that you would have been cursed and…"

"I was still alone" Emma interrupted

"Yes I know...I know that now" Snow said with so much pain in her voice "but I didn't know that back then" she defended herself but to her surprise Emma's face showed no emotion at all, it was as if she had just spoken to a wall, knowing that it wasn't the way to get through to Emma she attempted a completely different approach "when you gave Henry up..."

"Do not bring him into this" Emma said her voice full of anger once again

"Why" Snow said in a defensive tone

"Because that was different" Emma argued as she attempted to keep her anger in check but it wasn't working, because that woman had no right, she had no right to compare her life with Henrys

"Different why?" Snow asked a little annoyed this time, what was the difference between Emma and Henry, they were both loved when they were born, but do to circumstances that neither Emma or Snow could control they were forced to live a life away from their true parents. True Emma's life had been more rough then Henrys, but that still didn't change the fact that they both lived without their real parents, thanks to a decision that was forced on them

"You don't..."

"Yes Emma I do know" Snow interrupted before Emma could form a proper argument "I saw the way you cried. The way you were forced to give up your child. I saw everything and as much as it pains me, as much as I would have never wanted you to go through that I can't change it" Snow cried "but I can tell you that I understand. I understand because I went through the same thing you did"

"No you didn't" Emma yelled in defense

"Really Emma" Snow challenged

"Yes" Emma said taking a step closer "I was alone. You weren't"

"What?" Snow said in surprise, what the hell was she talking about now

"You had David. You had friends you had..."

"And do you think that made my decision easier?" Snow yelled in surprise

"Yes" Emma said with anger

"Really" Snow said a little hurt "you don't believe that"

"Of course I do" Emma yelled "I gave Henry up because I had no way to take care of him, I gave him up because his father left me" she yelled "you left me because you couldn't leave him…you couldn't leave your Prince Charming behind, therefore…"

"What" Snow said in surprise as she felt Emma's words like a dagger in her heart "what the hell are you talking about Emma, what…how can you say that" she cried

"The wardrobe took two" Emma yelled "TWO, so why the hell did you send a little boy to take your place, why did you Snow White, who claims to love me oh so much, sent a boy to do YOUR job, YOUR job" Emma yelled and just like that she felt a surge of power take control of her body as the room started to turn black.

Emma felt her body filling with some power she couldn't control, it took over her legs and started going up all the way to her brain and before she could control it before she could do anything to stop it, the power exploded from her body and went straight into the wall opposite to her and Snow, making a huge whole that revealed the outside of the station

"Mary Margaret" Emma asked with confusion and tiredness "what the hell was that"

Snow stared at her daughter in confusion, fear and admiration. It was more than clear that Emma's magic was triggered by her emotions, which was something that scared Snow more than anything in the world, because her daughters emotions where like a roller coaster and Emma's short temper didn't help her case at all. But at the same time she felt some sort of peace because Emma had controlled her magic to protect her, she had turned the other direction so that her magic wouldn't hurt her and that meant that deep inside, Emma really did care for her

"Mary" Emma said impatiently

"I believe you just used magic" Snow said as she took a step forward blocking her daughter's way in case Emma wanted to run away

"That's impossible" Emma mumbled in both confusion and what seemed like self-hatred

"No its not" Snow said placing her hands in Emma's arms "you have magic Emma, you were born with it"

"Gold" Emma mumbled ignoring Snow's words "that's what he said at the hospital" she said remembering how she had woken up to hear Gold telling Belle something about giving her his magic "he did this to me" Emma said in disgust "I have to talk to him"

"Emma"

"Not now Mary Margaret" Emma said as she pulled herself away from her mother's hands and made her way into the doorway

"Fine, I'm coming with you" Snow said with determination. First because she knew she had lost the battle and second because she also wanted to hear what Gold had to say

"I don't…"

"I'm coming" Snow said not even allowing Emma time to form an argument

"Fine…"

"And Emma" Snow said forcing her daughter to turn around and face her "we are not done" she said "I know what just happened is first on the list, but when we are done with Gold, you and I are going to finish this conversation…"

"Ok" Emma said before Snow could finish "but first let me handle Gold"

Peter had finally found his way into Emma's office without her noticing. It had been really hard considering the fact that she spent most of her time in there. He still couldn't understand why she did that. She had just found her parents after years of searching, and she had walked free from his clutches managing to leave alive from Neverland. But apparently not even that had managed to make Emma feel less alone. His Emma liked to be alone, which will make his plans way easier.

He watch her patiently as she played with her son, wishing with all his hear that he could be the one she was smiling to, but he knew he had to wait. He had to be patient and if things played out the way he planned, Emma would be smiling at him sooner then he thought. He then saw Snow walked in and the look that took over Emma's face took him completely of guard, it was as if all the love and trust Emma had shone in Neverland towards her mother had turned into anger and hatred, something he never thought he'll see.

But then before curiosity could eat him alive Emma had said the reason she was withal from everyone; she didn't remember, his princess didn't remember a thing. Up until what he didn't know, but that didn't change the fact that Emma had forgotten she loved her mom, which meant that she had forgotten him too, and that just made things way easier, and dare he say interesting.

"You'll be mine" he mumbled to himself as he disappeared into the shadows "sooner than you think…and this time you'll do it willingly" he laughed. Emma would be his and the best part was that this time, it would be her choice.

Henry walked out of the station with a smile, he knew that he had betrayed his mother a little bit by leaving her alone with his grandmother, but his mother's attitude was getting ridiculous. Henry knew that she needed to talk to Snow, they needed to let it all out, they needed to spend some time together so that they could talk and mend their differences, because, quite frankly he was getting kind of tiered of his mother running away. He missed her, he missed her and he wanted her back, he wanted Emma to be the way she was before the whole Neal-Neverland thing happened, and that would never be possible until she talked with her mom. He wanted his family back and if betraying his mother was the only way to get it then so be it.

As he got closer to the apartment, he noticed a figure sitting in the stairs but before he could run away the man noticed him and a huge smile took over his face "you" he yelled "what the hell are you doing here"

"Henry"

Sorry for the cliffhanger I know it was kind of rude
considering I made you wait so long this time but I couldn't
help my self.
So Neal and Hook are back and they are both willing to fight for Emma's
love this time, but the question is weather Peter would allow it
The things between Emma and her parents are not going so well and its
mostly because I think that's what the show lacked in season 2, they made Emma
and Snows relationship so normal before stating the facts of Emma resentment and
abandonment issues
I'll try and post sooner this time, and next chapter will finally get to see the first
part of Peters evil plan!

Hope it was worth it and please review!
