INTERMISSION AND A CONCLUSION IN SIGHT

In theatre, there is a point of intermission.

I consider the break in chapters of UTS to be a kind of intermission.

I ask that you, the reader, consider the extended break this story has taken as an intermission, and ask your forgiveness.

I took some time off to work on a piece I wanted to publish, but Underneath The Surface was never far from my mind. Regina, Emma and their friends in Desperation Lake were never far off.

I hope you will be pleased to learn I am at work on the conclusion of this story. I hope some of you will be glad that I'm not closing the book on Desperation Lake. I'd like to see our girls return there some day.

It's my expectation to have another chapter for you within the next week.

I hope this finds you all well.
