A/N I'm apologizing for the time you all had to wait for a new chapter. I promise to update the next chapter after this one sooner. Thank you all for the kind reviews I received. And I also would like to thank Don't forget to breath and Moors60 for their pointed reviews. It helps me as a writer to become a better writer with reviews like this.
I would like to add that even though I try to make this story as real as possible that it is still a creation of my own mind (and of my muse of course). So I take the liberty to have a few things changed to fit in. For example the JOP being from the US and not Canada. And the way things turned out to be as they were with her.
And of course there will be some legendary fights between Alex and Olivia in the future. This is a A/O story after all and it wouldn't be one without Alex and Olivia fighting and making it up later. Well I think this is enough talking from my side. Let's go back to the story.
As always please R+R. They all are really appreciated and welcome. I still eating them. Haha.
Chapter 36 Lost.
"Of course. How stupid am I. Liv, I know a place where we can go that no one knows about except for me. It's mine but it not on my real name. It is legal but it is under a different name. And nothing traces back to Alexandra Cabot, well Alexandra Benson-Cabot now of course. It's big enough for the four of us and what ever therapist we need. The place is so big that we don't even have to have them close around us if we don't want it. And it is secure. Nobody can enter the premises without being let in and noticed. The only problem might be the long flight we would have." Alex says.
It is 9 am Abby, Alex and Maricel are standing at the nursery station with Caroline and two guards. Doctor Bratt wasn't happy about the long flight Olivia had to make in order to get at one of the Canary Islands, Tenerife. But when Olivia had told him that the would go with a private plane he eventually had agreed. He had insist though that the Detective would have a strong doses of pain killers before she left. Given via a IV. Olivia had been her usually stubborn self and had refused to get any kind of pain killers. It has been one hell of a fight with the outcome on Olivia's end. Olivia would get a small doses of pain killers but nothing that would make her sleep the entire flight. Just something to get the edge of the pain she would have. And it was pure luck now that was what she had been given. When they had walked to the nursery station Olivia had received a phone call from Flanagan with the information about the flight. The phone call had come after they had left the secured area. The guards had walked at the beginning of the group and Olivia had walked two feed behind the last one being Alex, when she had ended the call. Alex looks around her for the Detective.
"Where's Liv?" Alex asks worried when she doesn't see her wife.
Abby and Maricel look up at Alex surprised and look around them. But they don't see Olivia. Maricel is getting a bad feeling.
"Damn. She was walking behind you and me 30 seconds ago. Ending the call with Flanagan." Abby says.
Maricel takes one more look around her and then gets into action. She looks at one of the guards.
"Peters close the entrance/exit of the area then come back here. Mc Badden you stay here with Mrs Johnson – Cason. Caroline you too and make sure all the patients stay in their rooms and call security, I don't think she left the unit but we need to be sure and cover all the exits from this hospital. Abby you come with me. Alex stay here with them. No matter what. Olivia will kill me if I would let you come with us and put you in danger." Maricel says.
"I want to..." Alex starts.
"For heaven's sake can you do for once what has been told to without being a lawyer. We don't have time for this Alex." Abby says.
"Hey, Carmichael. Drop the attitude, it's my wife we are talking about. And I want to come with you." Alex answers.
"No you are not! If we find Liv in a compromising situation we don't want her to have to worry about you too. Mc Badden, keep Mrs Johnson here. I don't care how as long as you don't hurt her." Maricel says.
"Fine. I'll stay. Go find Liv." Alex says.
"Thank you." Maricel says sincerely.
Abby and Maricel both draw their guns and get the safety off. Maricel takes the lead and Abby covers her back. Peters walks to the entrance and looks outside before he closes the area. Caroline paged all the other nurses and told them to keep all the patients in their rooms until they get an all clear. They all stayed at their places. She also called security to cover all the exits and stair houses leading to an exit. Mc Badden stood with Alex till Peters came back then she stood there with Peters and Caroline.
"Maricel and Abby will find her, Alex." Caroline says. Trying to convince Alex as well herself.
"But won't it be to late?" Alex asks softly.
"It's your wife we are talking about not just a normal person. Olivia knows that Maricel and Abby are looking for her. She will try to get as many time as she can get. And she sure will put up one hell of a fight." Caroline answers.
"I hope you are right. I know she will put up a fight if she can. I just hope that she won't have to pay it with her life. I don't know what to do without her." Alex whispers.
Meanwhile Maricel and Abby were looking in every room they crossed. They are standing in front of the last room at this side of the electric doors. At the moment they want to go inside they hear a gunshot coming from inside the room. Maricel and Abby both raises their gun hoping that Olivia isn't being shot. Maricel opens the door carefully in case Olivia isn't shot and stands right behind the door. At the same moment they hear Olivia.
"Don't think about picking up that gun. I would hate to shoot you again when I'm sure Agent Perez will be here soon now, but I won't think twice before I put a bullet in your head or heart." Olivia growls.
"You don't need to, Detective. I'm already here." Maricel answers, walking into the room.
Abby follows Maricel into the room and both women have raised their guns.
"Look who honoring us with a visit. You are sparing us a lot of time searching for you. I thought you wouldn't be so dumb and stupid to come here. Guess I gave you more credit then needed, Neal." Olivia says sarcastically.
"Don't look you pleased with yourself Detective. I got you into this room didn't I?" Neal answers.
"You only got me into this room because I allowed you to take me here. I wanted you away from the rest so you wouldn't be a danger for them. This was the quickest and most silent way to do that. Ms. Clementine can you get some medical assistance in here please. We are gonna need it." Olivia says.
Maricel quickly looks for a moment at Olivia before she looks back at Neal. Abby looks at Olivia too. She sees that Olivia is bleeding again from her shoulder. Looking at Neal she sees a GSW and blood squirting out of her arm and she knows she has to be quick. She turns around and runs out of the room and to the nursery station.
"Don't worry Perez, I can hold it until help is here. Neal there is in worse condition then I am, judging by the blood on her face and the GSW in her right arm." Olivia says, holding her gun in her left hand and pointed at Neal.
Maricel kicks the gun close to Neal away, put the safety on her own gun and shoves it in Olivia's direction while she rushes to Neal. She takes her belt of and puts it on Neal's arm and pulls it firmly. Abby in the meantime has reached the nursery station.
"Caroline, call for medical assistance. We need help as soon as possible. Neal is shot and Liv her wound is open. Liv hit a artery in Neal's arm judging by the blood that's coming out." Abby rushes.
Caroline quickly calls and then Alex and she runs back with Abby to the room. Bursting into the room they see the two women both against a wall. Maricel with Neal trying to stop the bleeding and Neal losing consciousness and Olivia sitting against the wall with her gun still raised at Neal just to be sure. With a quick look Caroline sees that Neal is the one most in danger and runs to her and Maricel. Alex runs to Olivia and only takes a quick look in Neal's direction. She kneels down and immediately pushes on Olivia's shoulder to slow the bleeding.
"I'm alright, Lex. It looks worse then it is. Neal is the one who is hurt badly. I promise you I'm ok." Olivia says softly.
Dr Bratt comes running inside with an other Doctor. He sees Olivia and a woman he doesn't know and runs to Olivia leaving the other woman to his colleague. Nurses follows inside behind both Doctors and Neal is on a stretcher and on her way to the OR two minutes later. In the same time Dr. Bratt has Olivia flat on the floor and Olivia's shirt cut open. For the second time in three days Olivia has popped her stitches. A few more then last time.
"You just can't keep yourself still and don't get hurt, can you Detective? You are lucky again though. You have popped more stitches then last time but you don't need surgery." Dr. Bratt says.
"Good. Caroline can stitch me back up then?" Olivia asks.
"Yes, she can. Now what the hell happened?" Dr. Bratt asks.
"Maricel call Flanagan. Tell him that we need somebody here for Neal. And ask Mc Badden if she can go and get his friend up here to accompany us out of the hospital." Olivia says.
"Ok. I will be right outside this room after I asked Mc Badden. I take Peters with me back here. I'll come back inside when I'm done with Flanagan." Maricel says.
"Ok. Good idea. Caroline can walk with you she needs to get a kit anyway. Alright, Caroline?" Olivia asks.
"Yes, Detective. I will be back in a few minutes." Caroline answers.
Maricel and Caroline walk outside the room leaving Dr. Bratt with Abby, Alex and Olivia.
"Ok Johnson, spill it. What the hell happened?" Abby asks sternly.
"When I was done calling Flanagan I felt that someone was walking behind me. I knew that everyone was walking before me so that who ever was walking behind me didn't want something good. I slowed down, for as far as that is possible, and were grabbed from behind. I noticed that it was a woman and the only one I could think of was Neal. I could have shake her off but I didn't want to put Alex or the rest of you in danger. Alex was walking right in front of me and I will never take the chance of her getting hurt if I can avoid it. So I let her take me with her without making a sound. I knew that when you would be at the nursery station you would miss me and start looking for me. I also knew that Abby and Maricel would never put Alex in danger and took her with them. Neal took me as far away as she could but the electric doors were closed and I told her that I didn't knew the code, she couldn't know if I spoke the truth or not. She pushed me into this room and closed the door behind her. Finally we were alone and I spun around and punched her in her face and broke her nose. She hit me on my right shoulder and I popped a few stitches. That stung a bit so she had a chance to hit me again on my mouth. She doesn't has that much power in her punch so it didn't hurt badly. I punched her in her stomach and then gave her an upper cut and a knee against her mouth. I think she has a few teeth less now. She pulled her gun when she was standing up again but I knew she would do that so I had pulled mine already. I told her that she could take a shot but that I would fire back and that she never would get Alex or the rest. She pointed put needed to take the safety off so I shot her in her arm and she dropped the gun. The rest you know since two of you came inside." Olivia explains.
"I'm happy and relieved that you are still in one piece, but you can't keep doing this, Liv. You were shot not even a week ago. You need to take care of your body. And this is not taking care of it. Why did you do this? Why did you do it this way?" Alex asks.
"To protect you. To keep you safe. Like I always will if I have the choice." Olivia answers.
"It could have killed you, Liv. She could have killed you. Have thought about that? What am I going to do if you get killed? I love you, Olivia. I don't know what to do without you. And I know you want to protect me and prevent for me getting hurt. But not if the price you have to pay is your life. I rather get hurt and have you then don't get hurt and getting you killed. Don't do it again like this. Not when you don't have to. You scared the crap out of me, Detective. I don't want to lose you already, I have you too short for that." Alex says, sternly but with a soft undertone.
"I know you are angry and probably scared. And we need to talk about this, but now is not the time nor the place, Alex. And I can't take this now, Alex. I'm sorry for scaring you and that you feared for my life for a moment. I really am." Olivia answers softly.
"I'm sorry to interrupt your conversation but I really need to stitch the Detective up." Caroline apologized.
She was in the room half way trough the conversation. And couldn't wait any longer.
"Want to do it like this or do you want me to sit up?" Olivia asks.
"It will be easier if you sit up, in a chair or on that bed for example." Caroline answers.
"Ok. Someone want to help me get up then?" Olivia asks.
Alex steps aside and Dr. Bratt and Caroline helped Olivia up and to the bed.
"You might pull the curtains around, Caroline. I don't feel like being watched by a big audience right now." Olivia says.
"Do you want me to stay behind the curtain or with you?" Alex asks.
"For me you don't have to stay with me. But if you want to stay with me you may." Olivia answers.
"I would like to stay with you." Alex answers.
"Ok. Come here and sit at the other side." Olivia says, scooting over so that Caroline has enough space to work and Alex to be able to sit next to her.
"Is this alright for you, Caroline? Can you stitch me up like this?" Olivia asks, just to be sure.
"Yes, no problem." Caroline says and walks around the bed to pull the curtain around them.
Caroline lays out the needle and the material she needs to clean up and stitch Olivia.
"Alright, I'm ready. Are you, Detective?" Caroline asks.
"I'm ready. Go ahead and stitch me up." Olivia answers.
"Wait, aren't you give her an anesthetic?" Alex asks.
"No, I don't. Last time Detective Badass here didn't want it. I think it's safe to assume she doesn't want it this time either." Caroline answers.
Caroline cleans up the wound as Alex answers.
"You know you don't have to be tough cop all the time, Liv. It's a normal procedure to have anesthetic's when you are getting stitched up." Alex says.
"I don't need it. Besides it only takes time to have that. And I can do it perfectly without it. You don't have to worry that I'm being a tough cop now. It really is alright." Olivia answers.
Caroline is finished with cleaning up the wound.
"I'm done cleaning the wound, I'm gonna stitch you up now, Detective. Don't worry Alex. It's gonna be alright. Just look at your wife's face. You'll see that she is alright. And that way you don't have to see it if you don't want too." Caroline says.
Alex looks closely to Olivia's face to see if there is any sign that Olivia isn't alright as she says she is. She takes the Detective's left hand in her own. Caroline smiles inside herself at the concern of the blonde and just start to stitch Olivia up. Alex sees that Olivia doesn't move a muscle. Olivia squeezes Alex's hand softly to assure the blonde ADA that she is fine. Looking in Olivia's brown eyes with her stormy blue ones Alex sees that her wife is truly relaxed for as far as she can be after what happened. She sees that Olivia isn't holding back and relaxes. A few minutes later Caroline is finished stitching Olivia up and tapes the stitches off.
"There good as new again, Detective. Try to keep them in as long as needed this time. " Caroline says with a small smile.
"I'll try and do my best, but I don't promise you anything." Olivia answers.
Alex rolls her eyes at the Detective's comment. Caroline helps Olivia in a new shirt and her sling and then opens the curtains again. Olivia carefully gets off the bed and walks back to Abby and Dr. Bratt. Alex follows the brunette.
"Ok. I'm done. As soon as Maricel gets back and the guys are here to accompany us were out of here." Olivia says.
Dr. Bratt looks at Olivia and it seems like he is considering something. After a few moments it looks like he's made up his mind.
"How about some pain killers now, Detective?" Dr. Bratt asks.
Olivia looks at him like he has gone nuts and grown a second head before she raises one eyebrow and looks at him with a 'did you really asked that question' look.
"Never mind. Forget I even asked it." Dr. Bratt says.
Alex and Abby are quietly snickering and Caroline just shakes her head.
"Even as you were a pain in our asses, Detective. I'm gonna miss you. You sure know how to keep us busy. You're quite a character. Loyal, protective and loving. Not to mention you are tough as nails and incredibly selfless. Your wife is one very lucky woman having someone like you. As are your niece and Agent Perez. Take care of yourself. Now if you will excuse me, I have a few other patients waiting. Good luck with everything and stay safe, Detective." Dr. Bratt says.
"Thank you, Doctor. I'll do everything I can. And you are wrong about my wife. I'm the one that's lucky. To have a woman like her. I'm sure your other patients are less demanding and stubborn then I am. Thank you for all you have done." Olivia answers.
Dr. Bratt laughs.
"Well, at least you know and admit that you are demanding and stubborn. No need to thank me. I should thank you for keeping this hospital safe. Goodbye, Detective. Goodbye Mrs Johnson – Cason and Ms. Clementine." Dr. Bratt says.
"Goodbye Dr. Bratt. Thank you for all that you have done for my wife. Thank you for saving her life." Alex answers.
"Goodbye, Dr. Bratt. Although I'm not hoping we are. Normally it wouldn't be a good thing if we saw you again. No offense." Abby says.
"Yes, you are right about that. Still I say it again. Goodbye." Dr. Bratt says and walks out of the room.
A few minutes later Maricel knocks on the door and walks inside.
"They are here. Flanagan is sending a Detective from your squad here. He thought that would be better giving the current situation. He said that Captain Cragen had said he would sent Detective Tutuola?" Maricel says.
"Ok. Good. Fin won't take any crap from no one. And he is a good man." Olivia says.
"His name is Fin?" Maricel asks.
"Well it's Odafin Tutuola. We all just say Fin." Olivia explains.
"Ok. Sounds as if it make sense." Maricel says.
"Well let's go. I want to get out of this place. I really hate hospitals." Olivia says.
Everybody laughs out loud.
"That's an understatement, Detective." Caroline laughs, not offended at all.
"Sorry, Caroline. It's nothing personal against you. Really." Olivia says.
"Don't worry about that Detective. I know it isn't. I know it is the hospital you hate. Not me." Caroline assures Olivia.
"Is it alright if I give you a more personal and warm goodbye, Caroline?" Olivia asks.
"Come here Detective Badass. Of course it is alright." Caroline says, as she opens her arms to hug the Detective.
Olivia walks to Caroline and pulls one arm around Caroline's waist. Caroline carefully puts her arms around the taller Detective.
"Thank you for all you have done for me, for us, Caroline. We wouldn't have been able to do all that we did without out. Thanks to you I'm the happiest woman in the world now. Despite everything that's going on. So thank you very much." Olivia says softly.
"It was my pleasure, Detective. I never met anyone like you. So dedicated, strong, protective. And so stubborn and hardheaded too of course. But it also a good thing. Because of that you survived something not many people do like you are doing. Take care of yourself please. Take care of your wife and Ms. Carmichael and Agent Perez. And try to stay safe. I know it is not a normal request but if you all are out of trouble, I would like to see you all again some time. I will pray and think of you form time to time. I hope that everything is gonna be alright. Everything that happened here good or bad is safe by me. Goodbye Detective. Take care." Caroline says softly.
Olivia and Caroline let go of each other.
"We will, Caroline. When it is possible we will come to see you some time." Olivia says.
Alex takes a few steps forward and hugs Caroline too. Caroline reciprocated the hug and puts her arms around the young ADA's waist.
"Take care of your Detective, Mrs. Benson. You know that there isn't a thing she won't do for you, do you? I truly never have seen someone like her. Protecting you as she does. She probably will never say it out loud, but she needs you as much as you need her. I wish you all the best and luck in this world. It was a pleasure to getting to know you, Counselor. You all are an example of what a good human being is supposed to be. Goodbye Mrs. Benson." Caroline says.
"We just have been doing our jobs with dedication, Caroline. But thank you for your trust in us. In me. Thank you for taking care of Liv. I know that isn't a easy task with my stubborn, hardheaded guard dog. But what can I say. I love her with every beat of my heart. And she was right. Thanks to you we were able to get married and now she is my wife. I will always be thankful for that. And we sure will come an visit you when we are safe again. Thank you for everything. Goodbye Caroline." Alex says.
The two women let go of each other. Olivia looks around and then at Alex.
"Are you ready to go, Mrs. Benson?" Olivia asks, smiling at Alex.
"Yes, Detective Benson. I'm ready to go where you are going." Alex says, smiling back at Olivia.
"Alright. Let's go then." Olivia says.
Abby and Maricel said their goodbye's and thanks to Caroline too and briefly hugged her. And then the four of them were ready to leave. Caroline opens the door and they all walked out. Flanagan's friend was waiting for them in the corridor with two of his friends. It were the same men that had transported them from the airport to their former safe house.
An hour later the four of them were in the airplane and on there way to Tenerife. It was gonna be a long flight. But the four of them hoped that they were safe so far a way from the US. Flanagan had to pull quite a few strings for it, but he had managed to get them a more personal airplane with better accommodations. The seat were quite comfortable and there was one small sleeping area. He had it arranged because Alex and Olivia were still wounded. Olivia might be a tough cop, she still was shot twice a little over a week ago and needed to rest. Today's fight certainly wasn't for the better. And Alex needed to rest and heal properly too. With everything the two had done for the bureau it was the least he could do. They had good and balanced meals, a few different kinds of beverage and some snacks too. Flanagan had arranged four laptops for them that they could take with them to Alex's place. And some needed clothes for all of them in a suitcase. Along with some other things that were needed. There were briefing files for the four of them with copies of everything there was about the case so far. He knew he could get in major trouble for doing that. But he decided that it would be worth it. Besides he trusted them all and knew that they wouldn't let anyone know that they had it. He also had a little, or actually big, surprise for them. He had left a long note in the file that was for Olivia. The four files had one of the four names on it. In Olivia's file he had added four temporary identities with everything that was needed for those identities. On the note he had written that he would visit them in about two weeks and that they would discus four permanent identities and jobs for all of them. They would look for a place to live and he would arrange it for them after they had agreed on all the important points. They could arrange their own therapist but if needed they could ask him and he would arrange it for them. He had written on the end of the note that they all needed to look at the DVD that was in the player. He had two copies added to her file for Maricel and Abby. He wished them all good luck and hoped they would have some well deserved rest.
Olivia decides that the identities could wait until they had watch what ever it is that was on the DVD. The flight would be long enough so they had the time.
"Hey guys." Olivia says looking up from her file.
The three woman look at the Detective. One blonde and one black eyebrow raised at the Detective, belonging to Alex and Maricel.
"Sorry, old habit. Anyway. Flanagan has left a surprise for us. He added a note to my file with some other things. And he says that we need to look at the DVD that is in the player. He has added two copies for Tex and Maricel." Olivia says.
"Is it a good or a bad surprise?" Alex hesitatingly asks.
"A good surprise. At least I think it is. He didn't say that it was bad. So I think it is a good one." Olivia answers.
"Well what are ya all waiting for. Let's go and see what's on it." Abby says.
"Easy, Cowboy. I don't have to remind you that Lex and I are wounded, do I? We can't move as quick and fast as you can." Olivia says.
"That's bull and you know it, Detective. Or do I need to remind you of this morning actions?" Abby counters.
"No you do not. I'm aware of this mornings happenings." Olivia says softly, hiding the emotional pain she feels.
"Ok. Just let's watch that DVD then." Abby says.
The four women got up and walked to DVD player and they all sat down while Olivia started the DVD. They were pleasantly surprised when Alex's and Olivia's wedding shown. From the beginning to the end. Starting with Maricel walking down the aisle and the look on Abby's and Maricel's face when they saw each other. Then Alex walking with her mother down the aisle and they all saw now that Alex froze for a moment and that Stephanie had said something to Alex. Olivia paused the DVD and turned to Alex.
"What happened there Alex? Did you had second thoughts about marrying me, that moment?" Olivia asks without thinking.
Olivia had shot two persons in a little over a week and it was getting her. For a cop the worst thing you can do is to have to shoot someone. Even though you are trained for it to do. And Olivia had shot a person, twice. She didn't show it to the others how much it was hurting her. And kept her face straight when she asked Alex the questions she had asked.
"What? No of course not! How could you even think that. I was completely captivated by the way you looked. You got me by surprise. A very nice and beautiful surprise that is. You never looked more beautiful then right then. Dressed in your dress uniform with your hear cut just the way I love it. I froze because you looked so beautiful and I fell for you all over again. My mother thought there was something wrong and said to me that I needed to walk further. The only thing that was wrong was that for a moment my legs felt jelly because of the breathtaking sight in front of me." Alex answers softly.
Olivia let out a breath that she didn't know she was holding.
"I knew the moment that you tried to explain to Maricel how I look in my dress uniform and you couldn't form the words that I was wearing it at our wedding. I also knew that you love it when my hair is short. I like a lot too so I decided to surprise you with a hair cut and my dress uniform. I don't know why I asked what I was asking. I know you wanted to marry me as much as I wanted to marry you. I'm sorry for asking, Lex." Olivia apologizes.
"It's alright honey. Today wasn't the easiest. I know that you know I wanted to marry you so badly. Now shall we continue watching the DVD?" Alex asks, giving Olivia a brief kiss on her lips.
"Yes, we certainly are." Olivia answers and start the DVD again.
When the wedding was at the end all the four women had tears in their eyes. Tears of joy and happiness. The thought it would be the end but then Cragen showed up. And said a few words towards Alex and Olivia and then to all of them. After that Stephanie came on and said something to her daughter and daughter in law. At last Caroline was coming on the screen. Telling them that she secretly had recorded the wedding. She wanted something for them to remember the wedding afterwards and that was why she had done it. For Alex and Olivia to have their wedding to see again and for Maricel and Abby to have recorded the moment that Caroline knew they fell in love for certain, for as fair as they didn't have had feelings already. She wished them all good luck and to stay safe. And added again to Olivia the respect and admiring she has for the brunette. After that the DVD ended. The four women were truly touched with the surprise Flanagan had for them and were glad that Caroline had recorded the wedding. They were thankful for the words that Cragen and Stephanie had said to them and happy that the could watch this DVD again when things would get difficult for them.
"I'm really glad Caroline recorded our wedding. Now we have it with us for ever and we can look at this DVD whenever we want." Olivia says.
"I'm so happy with it too. And she is right by the way, you really can see by the way Abby and Maricel looked that you two really fell for each other." Alex says.
"Well it was obvious to everyone there that I couldn't get the attention from you two. The only thing you two saw was each other. Now I have the evidence to prove it." Abby smirks.
"Of course I had only eyes for Alex, what else do you aspect me to do, then have only attention for her when she looks so absolutely breathtaking." Olivia says sincerely.
"I agree with Liv, although for me she is the one who looked absolutely breathtaking." Alex adds.
"Well I have to agree with you both. You both looked incredibly beautiful. And to join you, Maricel looked absolutely breathtaking to me." Abby says.
"You were really amazing yourself, Counselor. You took away my breath with that sight. You were wearing that suit." Maricel says.
"Ok I think we all looked absolutely breathtaking to our partners or wives. Shall we leave it with that?" Alex says.
They all agreed. Olivia pulled out the DVD from the player and handed it over to Alex.
"Keep it safe for us, Lex?" Olivia asks.
"Sure, I will guard it with me life." Alex says.
Olivia was about to reply when her cellphone went off. She frowned at the device before picking up.
"Detective Leigh." Olivia says answering the call.
"Detective, it's Captain Flanagan. I have some bad news. I'm really sorry but Agent Neal is dead. She made it trough surgery but has ended her own life by taking out her breathing tube. The doctors weren't able to safe her. Again I'm really sorry."
Olivia's face fell for a split second before she had her mask back in place. Abby and Maricel didn't noticed it but Alex did.
"Thank you for calling Sir. I will tell the others." Olivia answers coolly.
"Don't blame yourself for this, Detective. It wasn't your fault. You did what you had to do. Neal is the one to blame. She was dirty and she made the decision to end her own life, not you. She would have recovered completely." Flanagan says, knowing that Olivia did blame herself for this.
"I do. By the way thank you, Sir, for the DVD. We all are really happy with it." Olivia says.
"I know you do, that why I said it. And no need to thank me for the DVD. It was my pleasure to be able to give it to you." Flanagan answers.
"Thank you, Sir. I tell the others now. Again, thank you for calling and we will see you in about two weeks." Olivia says.
"Alright Detective, try not to eat yourself up on the inside. And we will meet each other in two weeks. See you then. Goodbye, Detective." Flanagan says.
"Goodbye, Sir." Olivia says and ends the call.
"Let's go back to our seats." Olivia says, turning around and walking to them.
They all sit down on the same seats the were sitting on previously.
"What's wrong, Liv? Why did Flanagan called?" Alex asks.
Olivia takes a deep breath before she answers Alex's questions.
"Neal is dead. She made it trough surgery and took out her breathing tube. The doctors weren't able to safe her." Olivia answers.
"Oh, Liv. I'm so sorry for you." Alex says softly, taking the Detective's hand and squeezes it softly.
"What are you sorry for? The bitch deserved it." Abby asks.
Olivia stands up from her seat and turns to Abby.
"One problem less, huh Carmichael." Olivia says sarcastically.
Olivia looks at Alex.
"Congratulations, Counselor. You married a two times murderer." Olivia says softly and walks to the small bedroom and slams the door behind her and locks the door.
