Chapter 35: The Nostalgic Euphoria

Solitude is the best thing that can describe the aura that surrounds the room. Two people were inside it but no sound came out from them.

The window is widely open while the curtains are ajar; welcoming the night breeze that enters. There is a standard hospital bed on the side next to the window; covered with white sheets. A mini closet is beside it and over it is an empty flower vase.

On the bed, the blonde rests. Eyes and lips were tightly shut. His skin is as pale as porcelain. Albeit, received many wounds he is still a beautiful as he is. Like an angel resting; an angel without wings.

The other one is concealed with the darkness of the room. His lips were shut too but his eyes were fixed to the person infront of him. His wounds may hurt as worse as hell but his heart ached more. The person he is looking at is still breathing but still although he is alive; he's been sleeping almost half a day so, he misses him.

He was deadly confused about himself; everything. He loves to be with this person but his pride tells him not to. He accepts the fact that he loves him as how he accepted himself but when the event happened almost like yesterday strikes; he cannot do anything but to ignore everything. What happened that day involved the words I don't care anymore? That came from him so, he needs to keep it because it has been said and almost done.

He wants to wait for the blonde to wake up but what if everything he did to him came back and make him hate him. Leorio's eyes closed involuntarily, he knows anytime now tears will fall from them.

He doesn't want to cry but when it comes to this, he just can't stop it. The air is too cold and dry so, he stood up and fixed the blanket on top of Kurapika's body.

A sudden memory stopped him; he witnesses how this person tried everything for the sake of the both of them but, he always refuses him.

But still, he fought with those thoughts and leaned to give him an embrace although he knows the other can't feel it. When he pulled out, he realized that their face were so close so he flushed red and moved a little bit farther. Smile broke upon his lips and it was because of a memorable memory that came onto his mind.

"Our lips have met many times before I kissed you when you're awake. You let me feel those soft lips of yours touching mine when you tried to stop me from blabbering."

He gently caressed the blonde's face and adored how wonderful it is. "I remember we used to fight before… Fight about anything! *chuckles* until now but I think, it came… worse…" he heaved a depressed sigh and continued with his tone changing into sad one.

"Until now, were not alright… No closure ne? But still, although it ended up like this… I will still hold this affection for you. I've never loved like his before… I know it is impossible for you to love or even like me *chuckles* but, I will keep this resting inside my heart. I'll leave you again Kurapika…"

He paced onto the door the door and went out; leaving the blonde still unconscious. Suddenly, his angelic voice came and broke the silence. "Don't… Don't leave me…" dreams he have dreamt came back and haunted him in his slumber again but now, there is no Leorio that will comfort him even in his dreams.

Leorio succeeded in holding back his tears and straightly headed for Gon and Killua to ay goodbye for the second time. But now, it's really not sure if he'll stop or not.

He entered with a jolly smile on his lips. The smile he used to put on his face to hide the real him. Killua and Gon faced him in unison and gave him a smile too.

"Yo guys!"

He greeted cheerfully. "Leorio!" Gon said back then sat up. The albino remained silent and just lowered his head. The younger still smiled at Leorio when the brunette came to his side and stared at him.

Suddenly, the brunette's expression changed. He suddenly hit Gon's head that shocked both of the younger ones. Killua's eyes widened then he stood up to face Leorio. "Why did you do that to-" hit!

Leorio hit his head too that made him irritated. Gon still massages his head while Killua started to complain again. Leorio's arms were crossed and his eyes were closed.

Both of them don't know the reason why the other did that. Leorio remained silent and his eyebrows were furrowed. All of a sudden, Killua's complaining was stopped by his childish chuckles. Leorio opened his left eye and became confused with what the other does.

Gon who sits on the bed placed his hands on his lap then cleared his throat. He wanted to throw his pillow at Killua but just remained still in his place because he, himself feels his body weak.

"What is funny Killua Zoldyck?"

Leorio hissed that made Killua stop and cleared his throat. "You and Kurapika are really good together! You both acts like a girl!" with that statement; Leorio's eyes widened then he hit Killua's head again for the second time around.

He didn't expect that words to come out from Killua but instead of taking it in bad side, he just appreciated it somehow cause it might be their last time to be like this.

The albino is currently complaining when he felt the arms of Leorio over him. Killua and Gon was so flabbergasted with Leorio's action but no one tried to speak up when the other told them something. "I'll leave yyou again guys…"

"Leorio?"

He said as he pulled out, Leorio smiled at him then went on Gon's side.

"You'll leave again?"

Gon said with anxiousness masking his face. He cannot find the reason why will the other do that for the second time. His anxiousness doubled when Leorio chuckled then patted his head.

"Don't worry… I'll come back to see the both of you…'

Killua felt that anytime now, someone will start a drama so, he interrupted them by saying something crazy. "Hey Leorio… Gon is mine hehe…"

With that statement, Gon's stare at Leorio was turned to Killua and that changed into a glare. "Killua! Stop it!" he said as he turns red and Leorio noticed it so he laughed and teased them.

"Aw… I can see your blush now Gon… Killua, I'm just borrowing him for a while… *chuckles*

Gon threw a pillow at Leorio that made the other surprised. "Hey, I'm just-" his words were cut when the pillow when the pillow that was thrown earlier hit him again.

He turned to Killua then found him smirking. "We'll not let you leave!" Gon said joyfully then held Leorio.

"Heyy! Easy guys, you're still not alright…"

He said as he pries Gon's hand off him then pats hi head. "Alright, I think it's time… Just tell Kurapika that I left him got it?"

"Why don't you tell him?" Killua asked back instead of answering Leorio's question that made the other stand and lower his head leisurely. "I just don't want to hurt him…" he said then smiled sadly.

"Killua, Gon… I trust you… take care of that reckless blonde and take care of each other too… Bye…"

He said that stunned Killua then walked out of the room without listening to the younger's words. A lonely smile was plastered on hi lip that made him feel sadder.

Killua was about to go to Gon when the door opened again. Leorio is infront of it and his smile turned into a mischievous smirk as he looks at the both of them.

"Another thing… Killua, Gon… no making outs…" he said as a final remark and finally closed the door.

Relief washed down the anxiousness in Gon's heart. He was happy to know that after all; his friends are still there for him. But that relief is accompanied by solitude because his other's friends are still not okay… it just bothers him.

But suddenly, he remembered Leorio's words that were said to them. He didn't get it so, he called Killua then gave him this curious look.

The albino noticed that so, he went nearer to Gon then cupped his chin while his other hand caresses his face; innocent face. "Gon why are you lonely? Because of Leorio?" he was surprised when the other nodded.

"He will come back Gon. He told us that and I know he means it…"

"Not that… I know that Killua but still, what did he said? I'm not using make up…"

Killua was dumbfounded then he just chuckled to avoid making Gon angry. Killua doesn't want to stress his lover so; he suddenly kissed Gon on his forehead then sent a smile to him.

"It's not make up… It's make out…"

"What's make out…?"

"You're still a baby Gon…"

"If I'm a baby… I won't do this…"

He said then after that pulled Killua into a kiss. The other was shocked with Gon's actions but then, climbed the bed and went over him. He deepened the kiss then wrapped his hands on the other's body.

His hands slowly slipped inside the younger's clothes and felt the heat of his skin. "Ahh! Killua!" Gon said as he feels others hand on his body.

But then… No making outs… Killua suddenly remembered then pulled out. They were panting but then, he smirked at Gon then poked his nose sweetly. "Gon… no making outs…" then went down the bed and just held the others hands.

Gon of course felt his wounds ache but ignored it and just smiled back at Killua. "Oh… I got it kills…" then he chuckled. "Oi Killua!"

"Doshite? (why?)"

"Can you take a look at Kurapika?" he said that made Killua smile. "You sure?" the other asked.

"Yeah… I'll wait… I'll be alright! Shimpai Na! (Don't worry!)"

The albino then just nodded then went out and touched his lips. He held that smile then chuckled a bit.

"Killua…" Gon still cannot erase the other's touch and that suits him.

Before he tucked himself under the blanket, I won't worry I know Kurapika love Leorio and I'll do a thing to help them fix their relation once more…

"Kurapika!" Killua shrieked then ran towards the blonde.

Now guys, what do you think? I hope this is okay and suited us all! The orangy part is… unexpected! I didn't plan it! Honestly! ^^ Sorry if the chappie title confused you… Ummn here is my explanation… Nostalgic because of Leorio and Kurapika's parting and Euphoria because of the KilluGon parts! Hehehe… I tried to make it a phrase than "The Nostalgia and Euphoria…" I just found it unpleasant to hear… Hehehe…

I still need a dose of fluff so I can make it more delicious! Joke! I'll make this sweeter but we all needs to cry first! XD
