Chapter 36

Two days later Makayla was hanging out with her friend Regina at the lair. Regina was acting very silly and so was Makayla. They were dancing around the kitchen like crazy singing Ex's & Oh's by Elle King. Leonardo heard them, walked out of the dojo and into the kitchen. He saw his sister and her friend dancing and singing like idiots. Leonardo walked over to the stereo on the counter and turned the music down. Makayla noticed this and said, " What up with that Leo?"

Leonardo says, " Makayla what are you and Regina doing?"

Makayla says, " Uh we're dancing and singing in the kitchen. What does it look like we're doing Leo?"

Leonardo says, " I don't know but could you please keep it down a bit? I'm trying to meditate in the dojo and I can't focus with all this noise coming from the kitchen. Why are you even down here anyway?"

Makayla says, " Because Donny is working on the lighting in my room and he doesn't want us getting in the way."

Leonardo says, " Well what about the garage or the living room?"

Makayla says, " Raph is working on his motorcycle in the garage and Mikey is playing video games in the living room." The 3 teens turned their heads toward the doorway of the kitchen listening to Michelangelo screaming and yelling at his video games from the living room. They could also hear loud rock n roll music coming from the garage above their home.

Makayla says, " See? We kind of figured we weren't gonna bother anyone here in the kitchen but I guess that's not the case."

Leonardo says, " Yeah clearly."

Regina says, " Seriously your ears really that sensitive?"

Leonardo says, " Yes Regina. Why would you ask a stupid question like that?"

Regina says, " I don't know. Curiosity."

Makayla laughs and says, " Regina shut up!"

Regina laughs and says, " What?! What did I say Makayla?!"

Makayla laughs and says, " You're such a dork sometimes Regina Whitacre!"

Regina laughs and says, " I'm a dork?! Oh no no no, it's you that is the dork Makayla Hamato!"

Makayla laughs and says, " Oh yeah?!" Instantly Regina found herself on the floor with Makayla's foot pressed against her stomach.

Regina says, " Hey no fair Makayla. I wasn't ready for that."

Makayla smirks and says, " Well I was Regina."

Regina smirks and says, " You little crazy witch, I'm so gonna get you back for that."

Makayla laughs and says, " I'd like to see you try Whitacre!"

Regina laughs and says, " It's so on! Just you wait Hamato! I'm gonna get you when you least expect it!"

Makayla laughs and says, " You can try but it's not gonna be easy! You wanna know why?! Because I'm a ninja!"

Regina laughs and says, " You're crazy!" Makayla playfully punched Regina in the chest.

Makayla smirks and says, " How's that for crazy? The two girls continued to laugh until the phone rang. Makayla answered the phone and it was Morgan on the other end. By the sound of Morgan's voice Makayla could tell that her best friend was really freaked out about something.

Makayla panically says, " Morgan what is it?!"

Morgan panically says, " Ok I overheard something from Swindle and one of his friends that I really shouldn't have heard! It was about Austin!"

Makayla panically says, " What did they say about Austin?!"

Morgan panically says, " They're planning to kill him and oh my god I can't even say it!"

Makayla panically says, " Is there more to this?!"

Morgan panically says, " Yes!"

Makayla panically says, " Morgan I swear to god if you don't tell me what they said about my boyfriend I'm gonna murder you!"

Morgan panically says, " They're planning to kill him with a shotgun and drag him out to the middle of nowhere to oblitterate him with a woodchipper!"

Makayla screamed, " What?!", dropped her phone on the counter and screamed, " Oh my hell!" The rest of Makayla's family ran into the kitchen and Donatello screamed, " What the shell Makayla?! What's wrong?!"

Makayla screamed, " Shut up for a second!" Morgan's voice was heard over the phone screaming, " Dude are you ok?! Are you there?!" Makayla frantically picked up the phone again and panically said, " Ok Morgan you need to tell me everything that's going on right now! Where are they?!"

Morgan panically says, " They're heading over to Austin's house with the shotgun right now! They said they would be there in 15 minutes to shoot him!"

Makayla panically says, " Ok listen to me Morgan this is really important! Meet me over there with your machete!"

Morgan panically says, " Ok! Don't forget your bat too!"

Makayla panically says, " Ok just meet me over there! Bye!" and hung up the phone. She immediately began searching for her baseball bat.

Raphael screamed, " What da shell is going on with ya Makayla?!"

Donatello screamed, " Yeah why did you scream like that?! What's going on?!"

Makayla screamed, " If I take the time to tell you my boyfriend will be turned into a pile of woodchips!"

Master Splinter worriedly says, " Calm down my daughter! What is going on?!"

Makayla panically says, " I don't have time to tell you sensei! I need to find my bat and get over to my boyfriend's house now!" When she found her bat she panically says, " I need the keys to the Battle Shell, Donny!" Donatello threw his sister the keys and said, " Be careful. Don't get pulled over Makayla." Makayla bolted to the elevator, went up to the garage, climbed into the Battle Shell, threw her bat in the back and drove off to her boyfriend's house. When she got there she saw Morgan already there lurking around the front yard with her machete. Makayla motioned for her best friend to get inside the Battle Shell. Morgan climbed in and Makayla called Austin to warn him not to come outside. The two girls waited quietly in the Battle Shell waiting for their chance to jump out and surprise attack Swindle and his little buddy. When the girls heard the two men outside they made their move, flung the door open, jumped out and screamed, " Cowabunga!"

Swindle shouted, " What are you doing here you little brat?!"

Makayla shouted, " Oh shut up Swindle! My best friend told me what you were planning to do to my boyfriend! You're a sick twisted troll!"

Swindle shouted, " Shut your mouth you little tramp!" Makayla and Morgan gasped at what he said.

Makayla angrily shouted, " Excuse me?! What did you just call me?!"

Swindle shouted, " I said you're a tramp! So shut it!"

Makayla angrily shouted, " NO ONE CALLS ME THAT! EVER! YOU HEAR ME?! JUST WAIT TILL I TELL MY FATHER WHAT YOU SAID TO ME! YOU'RE A DEAD MAN!"

Swindle shouted, " Shut up! What's your stupid father gonna do about this?!"

Makayla angrily shouted, " He will be very mad that you said that and you will probably be smacked around repeatedly! And FYI my father is not stupid!"

Swindle shouted, " I'm not scared of your father!"

Makayla shouted, " Oh yeah?! Well why don't I call him and tell him what you said to me?! Let's just see what he will say!" Makayla pulled out her shell cell and called Master Splinter. She told him what Swindle said to her and he instantly was boiling with rage toward Swindle. Master Splinter began to yell with anger over the phone at Swindle for saying such a horrible obsinity to his daughter. Swindle began to flinch as he was listening to Master Splinter's anger and rage. This was the angriest that Makayla had seen her father in her entire life. Even though it scared her a little she still loved him very much. Though she wouldn't admit it she loved having him protecting her. It made her feel safe to know that she had a loving caring father who loved her very much and would do anything to keep her safe. The conversation ended with Master Splinter yelling at Swindle telling him that he was coming up there to deal with him. Master Splinter showed up and the two of them got into a fight. During this Austin came out of his house anyway to find out what was going on but the second he did Swindle raised the shotgun at him and fired but Austin ducked his head and the bullet impaled itself in the front door. Makayla screamed at Austin to get in the Battle Shell but Swindle chased after him with the gun firing bullets at him. Makayla and Morgan chased after him, Makayla catapulted herself over Swindle, kicked the gun out of his hands and she started attacking him. Swindle tried to choke her but Makayla flipped him over her shoulder. Swindle's buddy started attacking Morgan but Morgan stabbed him in the stomach killing him instantly. Morgan then joined in with Makayla attacking Swindle. Austin came running around the corner, grabbed Swindle's shotgun and fired at him shooting him in the head. Swindle fell to the ground and he was motionless. The two girls stared at Austin who still held the shotgun in his hands.

Makayla shockingly says, " Did you just shoot him?!"

Austin says, " Yes." Makayla pressed her finger against Swindle's neck to feel for a pulse. There was none.

Makayla shockingly says, " Holy shell he's dead! You killed him!" Makayla threw herself into Austin's arms and kissed him. Austin dropped the gun on the ground and wrapped his arms around Makayla kissing her back. Master Splinter walked up and watched what was going on. He was going to interrupt them but he decided not to. Instead he stood there and started smiling a little bit. He was happy that Austin loved his daughter just as much as he did. Master Splinter never regreted letting Austin date Makayla because he trusted him around his daughter and around his family. He knew Austin would never hurt them especially Makayla.

Makayla excitedly says, " Austin Richard Taylor I love you so much! You are the best boyfriend ever!"

Austin says, " And Makayla Lynn Hamato I love you too very much! You are the best girlfriend ever!" The two continued kissing each other until Master Splinter finally interrupted them. 2 days later Leonardo was training in the dojo when all of a sudden he was interrupted by Julia.

Leonardo says, " Julia? What are you doing here?"

Julia says, " Well I was going to do something with Makayla but she's busy doing something so I thought I would come in here and do something."

Leonardo says, " Ok." Julia walked in over to one corner and starts doing some yoga. Leonardo continued doing his katas and he also began to watch what Julia was doing. To him she looked like she was really concentrating on what she was doing. Julia was also secretly watching Leonardo too. As they were watching each other they moved closer and closer to each other until they were right in front of each other staring into each other's eyes never looking away. Then without warning Julia grabbed Leonardo and kissed him. Leonardo was completely shocked by this but instead of pushing her away he actually returned the kiss and kissed her back. As the two of them were kissing Rucka Rucka Ali's parody of Poker Face began to play in the background. Makayla walked in moments later to see her friend and her brother kissing each other.

Makayla says, " Aw this is definitely a kodak moment! One of my best friends and my brother together!" The two broke apart and Julia said, " Shut it Makayla."
