I'm so sorry it took so long to get this chapter out. Sometimes the words just don't come. I hope the length makes up for the delay.

Previously on Storm Rising,

Austin looks me straight in the eyes and I finally see the flecks of grey in the green. "My parents are Annabeth Chase Poli and Brandon Poli."

My eyes widen and my mouth drops. Austin only looks to be fourteen but it's been less than seven years since Annabeth has left me. But if his parents are both gods, aging gets weird. Ah, my head is reeling.

"How?" I ask.

Austin's eyes get a little darker. "I was conceived on the night that my mom cheated on you. A few months later, I was born. I age funny, more than twice as fast a normal mortal. But my parents were too smitten with each other to ever pay enough attention to me to raise me. So Chiron, the Athena campers, and the immortal campers from the giant and Titan war, who were immortal and your friends, raised me. The same campers who were your friends during your time at camp, like Clarisse, Chris, the Stolls, Leo, and Calypso, basically raised me. They told me the truth about my parents, how my father was a prideful fraud and how he had managed to snag my mothers attention away from you, though not even Chiron could fathom how. As a little boy, Chiron always told me stories of the greatest mortal hero, Percy Jackson, who turned down immortality twice. You were my hero. Chiron loved you like a son; he spoke so highly of you."

I suddenly recognize Brandon's face. "I remember your face! You were the little boy on the back of Chiron in the garden of heroes."

He nods. "Chiron unofficially adopted me. My parents would throw a fit if they find out, but they don't care enough."

Despite his parents, I can't help feeling sorry for Austin. I can relate to him, a dad you never cares about you. At least I had my mom. This kids parents abandoned him and he was raised by great heroes, it doesn't replace having parents. Even though his parents are my rivals, I can't help feeling sorry for him.

Austin plucks a stone and skips it across the lake. "Chiron tried to teach me how to use my water powers, but it was hard without someone who had a connection to the sea. Calypso tried to help, but she is more peacefulChiron mentioned I should ask you. Also I wanted to apologize."

"Of course I will help you with your water powers. Why would you want to apologize?" I ask as we begin to head back towards camp and the cabin/ house I'm staying in.

"I want to apologize for the way my parents treated you," He replies with sincerity.

I turn to look at my would be nephew. "Come with me, there are some people I'd like you to meet."

Heading back along the lake, we walk towards the great army lodgings. There, that's what I'll call it. When we are about a hundred yards away, I see Calypso walking towards the Great Army cabin. "Aunt Calypso!" Austin calls and runs over to her. I jog after him.

"Hello Austin," Calypso smiles at him. "How are you?"

"I'm good. Percy is going to introduce me to some people," The legacy of Athena and Poseidon replies.

"Percy?" Calypso says, looking up at me. I look at her.

"Ummm, hi Calypso," I say awkwardly.

She surprises me by hugging me. I return the hug before she steps back. Calypso hasn't changed a ton from since the time I was on her island. She still wears her long caramel hair in a side braid over her shoulder but she looks a little older. Instead of the long white dresses she wore on Ogygia, she now wears a tan tunic t-shirt with a pair of dark grey leggings.

"It's good to see you Percy," She says.

"It's good to see you, too. How did you get off your island?"

Calypso's eyes get a happy look as if remembering a happy memory. "Leo did a quest for Hephaestus, and for his reward, he asked for me to be released from Ogygia. Leo flew Festus to my island and from there, we flew back to camp half blood. I helped him renovate Bunker nine to a livable area. We now live in Bunker nine and have a mechanical shop in New Athens."

"That's great," I said, smiling. "Where are you heading to now?"

"I wanted to see Zoe, but I didn't want to intrude into the cabin," Calypso looks a bit nervous.

"You can come in with us. We were just heading back there now," I promise her. Calypso looks relieved. They follow me through the front doors of the cabin into the living room area. The bottom floor of the house is empty, except for Sparrow and Ariana who are in the kitchen, making some kind of food. Well, at least Ariana is. From what I've experienced, Sparrow is a crappy cook.

"Wait here," I tell Calypso and Austin. "I'll go get Zoe and the other people," Before they can respond, I disappear into mist. Reforming on the second floor, I walk down the hall, poking my head into rooms, and asking a few people to come down stairs soon.

When I'm passing by Amphitrite's room, I see her standing in a suit of armor. I poke my head into her room. "Mom? Where did you get the armor?"

Amphitrite twists something on her hand as she turns around. The armor disappears. "Hydros gave it to me before he had to return to the Void," She said, looking a bit sad.

"Can I see it again?" I ask.

She nods and spins the stone on her ring. The armor reappears. I step closer to take a better look at it. The metal is a mostly light blue color with a few darker blue swirls in it. The armor covers most of her body, cleverly designed with interlocking plates so that Amphitrite can still move while it protects her.

"That's so cool," I tell my mom. "Hey, could you meet me downstairs in a few minutes?"

A few minutes later

I leaned back against the couch as we waited for the last person to arrive. Zoe and Calypso were already talking, sitting at the counter. Both looked happy to finally be together after so many eons apart.

Austin sat beside me, interlacing his fingers back and forth. I can understand his anxiety; having ADHD and then being told to wait is hard. I know from personal experience. At last, Thyella walks, her black hair up in a high ponytail. She must have been doing yoga becuase she is wearing her yoga pants and a blue t-shirt that says Save the Whales! Triton and I got it for her as a joke for one of her birthdays a few years ago.

"What did you need, Percy?" She asks as she sits down on a chair, turning to look at me.

"Ummm, guys, this is Austin. He is a son of two minor gods and was raised by Chiron, the campers from the wars, and the Athena campers," I say.

"Calypso is one of my aunts," Austin says.

Oren nods. "Well, I'm Oren, former son of Poseidon and brother to the archer Orion. Zoe, Calypso's sister, is my wife. Who are your parents?"

"My mom is Annabeth Poli, goddess of architecture and engineering, and my dad is Brandon Poli, god of ships, swords, heroes, blah, blah, blah."

Everyone stares at Austin, their mouths open wide. They have all heard my story of how Annabeth betrayed. Thyella breaks the silence.

"Then how are you so old?" She asks.

"I'm an immortal child of two gods, yet I have no domains. My aging is really messed up. I'm about fourteen now," Austin replies.

"Oh," Thyella says.

"I'm sorry, but I don't know all of your names," Austin looks at Amphitrite, Triton, and Thyella.

Amphitrite finally gets over her shock. "Percy, how could you like this child? He is the som of your enemies!"

I hold up my hands in a wait gesture. "Austin's parents never had time for him, so he was raised by people like Calypso, Clarisse, the Stolls, the Athena campers, and Chiron. They told him the truth about his parents and he vowed never to be like them."

"I'm sorry for judging you," Amphitrite apologizes.

"It's all right. Just a question, who are you?"

"Oh, sorry," Triton says. "I am Triton, former prince of the sea, and now a son of Hydros along with Amphitrite."

"I am Amphitrite, former queen of the sea, goddess of seals, springs, deep oceans and such. I was once married to Poseidon, but now Hydros is my husband."

"I'm Thyella, first true child of Amphitrite and Hydros, goddess of coves, tides, whales, and a lot more."

Austin nods in understanding. We begin to talk about different things, most leading back to water. We all agree to help train Austin in his water powers. Triton promises to help with tridents, while Oren will help with archery. I will help Austin in swords and other weapons, while Amphitrite will help him in communication with ocean animals. Lastly, Thyella will teach him about water powers.

After a few hours of talking, Austin and Calypso head back to camp. Since there is about an hour till diner in the pavilion, I head up stairs to talk to Bianca.

Reyna's meeting with Bianca, Chieftess R, and Sir T must have been a long meeting because they are still in Bianca's room around a table with maps and papers on it. Everyone in the Void who live in the castle knows who Chieftess R and Sir T are, so they are no longer wearing their hooded cloaks.

Chieftess R or Rose Kristina stands beside Reyna, her a little bit past shoulder length black hair is kept out of her face by a headband. She always wears a headband and today's color is a dark grey. For shoes, she wears knee black lace up boots with a pair of dark colored jeans tucked into her boots. Her huge black jacket with holes for her thumbs is too large for her small eight year old body. Her love of dark colors marks her as a child of Hades. Though she is so small, she is a great fighter. Not the kind who is super skilled with weapons, but the one who shows no mercy and thinks of the best way to massacre the enemies. She was almost completely insane when I first met her, though she's gotten better now. But there are still those times that the look in her eyes warns you to run, especially when she has you locked in a torture chamber or is running at you her scythe and staff ready to kill.

Beside Rose, towering over her, is Sir T or Tony Levan. With a muscular height of 6 5" and 23 years old, Tony has short cropped black hair and silver eyes. His face has the features of an Asian, because his father was Asian along with being a distant legacy of Poseidon. When Sparrow and Pax found Tony, he was deep in a forest, running away from the Lotus Casino where he had been trapped as a child with a foster family. Before that, he had lived with his father, but one day his father was killed by a sliver arrow. Tony was traumatized. Ironically enough, the silver arrow had been shot by his mother, the one and only Artemis. Artemis hated Tony and his father; she blamed them for her breaking her oath and never told anyone about her son. Tony is wearing dark navy jeans like usual, along a black shirt with silver inscriptions. He appears to be weaponless, but never ever sneak up on this guy. He knows enough martial arts and kung Fu to kill you even when you have a weapon. But in battle, he likes to use his bow and knifes, along with his karate skills.

Reyna rolls up the map and taps it twice. A red seal emblazes on it, a knife and gladius crossed with flames burning around it. I recognize it as Reyna's symbol. As general, Reyna keeps all the important papers. So that enemies can't infiltrate us if these are stolen, Reyna's symbol puts a protection on it. Whenever anyone tries to touch the scroll or door, they will be burned. Also Reyna gets a tingling in her brain, notifying her where the scroll is. Reyna packs all the scrolls and maps into her bag. She nods to me as she passes me on her way to the door.

"See you guys later!" Bianca calls as Tony and Rose leave. Tony nods while Rose waves, her eyes slightly off focus.

Bianca wills the shadows to fold up the table and put it in the closet, putting the books and papers in a neat stack in her hand. "How was your walk?" Bianca asks as she sorts the books back onto her book shelf.

"It was good," I reply as I place Chaos' Guide to the Galaxy and All the Gods in it onto the shelf. "I met someone interesting," As I help Bianca put away the books, I explain to her about Austin. Her facial expressions change as I reencounter my events of the afternoon. We finish putting the books away as I finish my story.

"Wow," Bianca breathes. I wait for her to say something deep, but instead she says. "I'm surprised that you didn't kill any campers."

I laugh. "Yeah. Amphitrite needs me to go around and tell everyone that we will be eating dinner on the back pavilion of the cabin. She thinks we need to settle in before we kill any campers."

"While you do that, I should go help Ariana prepare the food," Bianca says. We part ways.

Several Hours Later (After dinner)

After a delicious prepared by Ariana and Bianca (they had to try to keep Sparrow from accidently burning it) and a fun night of hanging out with my family and friends, I head up to bed. Bianca has already retired to her room as she was rather tired. I got ready for bed before crawling into my comfy bed. I fall asleep almost immediately.

I find myself back at Helix's house inside what would be living room. About a year must have passed, because Order looks about seventeen, while Chaos looks to be sixteen. Both boys are staring intently into balls of light, a black one for Chaos and white for Order. My body drifts towards Chaos and I peer into his ball. Through the mist, I recognize the Planet Duosel, from Thesis' teachings, the planet where the original seven primordials grew up. I see little twelve year old versions of Gaia, Ouranos, Nyx, Erebus, Hydros, and several others running around, playing games.

Floating over to Order, I watch the strange scene before me. While Chaos' looked like humans, Order's are far more bizarre. Some have flaming hair, different colored skin, and one even has a robotic arm. Order smiles as two boys, a blued skinned and a brown skinned one, begin to train with weapons. His smiles reminds me of a proud parent, but his eyes hold something I can't quite place.

Footfalls can be heard coming up some stairs and Void steps into the room. I am shocked by the difference from a year or two ago. While the two sons of Helix only to have seemed to age a year or two, Void looks older, more elegant, and stunningly beautiful. Now at about fifteen, she stands tall and walks with a grace that makes you wish you were her. She wears her chocolate brown curls down and they fall almost to her waist, never getting tangled. Her dark blue eyes are full of happiness and life. Her body has aged along with her looks. Her long slim legs are covered by grey tights with a fitting blue dress falling to her knees.

Both boys look up as she walks in. If I thought they both liked her in my last dream, it's nothing compared to what I see now. It would be safe to say Order and Chaos both love her.

Void smiles at Chaos as he says, "Hey Void."

Order gets a look of dark envy in his white eyes. Instead of trying to show his brother up, Order lets his jealousy and hatred build.

"Hello Chaos, Order," Void acknowledges her brothers. "What are you guys doing?"

"Looking at our creations," Chaos answers. "Want to see?"

Void walks over to sit next to Chaos, gazing into the mist. "That's Ouranos," He said pointing at the white haired boy with blue eyes, his first creation. "That's Gaia, Hydros, Nyx, Erebus, Ananke, and Chronos," He says, pointing to each in turn. It saddens me when I see the little Chronos and Ananke together.

"They're so cute," Void coos.

Chaos smiles. Order stares at his brother with enough hate to burn a hole in the wall. I glance towards the doorway and see Helix standing there silently, watching his children. He looks at Order with sad eyes before clearing his throat.

All of the children immediately look up. Helix walks into the room and sits on a chair. "I have decided, in case of an emergency, to tell you who my inheritance of the galaxy goes to."

Order leans forward, excited to see what he will receive or what he thinks he will. Chaos looks interested while Void mirrors her father's sadness.

"I'm passing all of my possessions to Chaos, my second son," Helix says. Chaos' eyes go wide with excitement. Order's eyes catch fire with anger, but Void closes her eyes and cringes. I get the distinct feeling that she knew this was to happen.

"I'm going to bed now," Order says trying to keep the anger in his voice hidden. It didn't work. Helix looks at his som with concern.

"But Order," Chaos says. "You said we were going to have some fun after father's announcement.

Order doesn't even look at his brother. "I'm tired and I'm going to bed. And that's final," Order leaves the room, his heavy footfalls like stomping.

Almost like I am inside Helix's head I hear, His jealousy will be the death of him.

Though I want to stay with Chaos, Void, and Helix, a force pulls me towards me after Order and toward his room. I can hear Order's thoughts as he closes his door. If I can't have my fathers will, I will have my sister as my wife. He walks to his dresser and pulls out a small chunky white box. Popping open the lid, he removes the ring. He befins to pace around the room holding the ring.

I gaze at the ring my great uncle holds. It is a light gray band with a large white, rough diamond on the center. Though it has a large diamond, I know Void won't like it. It was too rough and bulky. Void was more delicate and simple.

Order stops to gaze out the window. Should I propose or ask her if she loves me? Should I propose or ask her if she loves me? Order ponders to himself. I will ask her if she loves me. He walks over to put the ring away.

Unable to control the way I float, I drift through the door into the yard. Chaos and Void are walking among the willow trees away from the house. The sun is setting in the direction they are walking. The leaves sway gently around them.

"Void, what's wrong?" Chaos asks. "You seem so sad and frightened now a days."

"I have found terrible things in the scrolls I have been translating. These scrolls that I have been reading... They were written by father and the threads of life, in a language so old, father has forgotten," She pauses to glance at Chaos. "The things I've read, they scare me, Chaos."

Chaos wraps his arm around his sister. "It's okay. I will protect you," He promises.

Her eyes sadden, but she will not dampen her brothers spirit. "Thank you."

The pair has reached the end of the trees and they look out over the hill at the gorgeous sunset.

"Void, do you promise not to lie to my next question?" She nods.

"Do you love me?" Chaos asks.

"I love you, not just as a brother, but with all my heart," She says sincerely.

Then, both of them seem to be moved by a strange force and began to kiss. Enjoying the kiss, they leaned into each other's embrace, letting all their worries wash away. A flash of white in my perferial vision catches my eye. I realize who it is too late. I try to yell to the two siblings, but my mouth doesn't work.

Order storms out from behind the tree, anger burning in his eyes. "How could you do this to me?" He screams at Void.

Void breaks her kiss with Chaos. "I have always loved you as a brother."

Order points a finger at his brother. "From this day forth, I declare war on you. I swear that your head will be mine and Void will be my wife," And with that, Order slammed his sword into the ground, disappearing.

How was it? I hope you liked it. I'm going skiing now.
