Sparks POV
I sigh and lean against the wall as I put my hands on my face and groan alittle. Gale...and Nova...for some reason I can't help but feel jealousy every time I see Gale with her even though I trust Nova but...Gale has been with Nova his entire life and I haven't...we just know each other but I still feel like I know her the best. I know I must sound self fish if I even dare to tell her that I don't want her with Gale. He is one of her best friends and I can't break their friendship.
"Sparks?" I turn and see Miss. Witt.
"Is Nova okay?" She asks and I sigh and nod.
"She's fine." I said. Miss Witt let's out a breath.
"Thank goodness...on dear...I was so worried." She says. I nod with a sigh.
"Why aren't you in there with her?" Asked Miss Witt.
"Gales in there." I say.
"Oh! Gale! I need to thank him!" She yelps. And I look at her.
"Why?" I ask.
"You should thank him too." She says and I snort.
"Yea right...like I'll ever have a reason to thank that betrayer. " I say as I look away.
"Well you should...he saved Nova." Says Miss Witt and I look at her.
"Gale...he saved Nova?" I ask. She nods.
"But...how did he know? He was supposed to be at work today." I say. She shrugs and takes her hat off.
"I don't know but he was there just in time to save her." She says and I look at the door of the room Novas in. Gale saved her? Out of all people why him? Now I have to thank him no matter how hard it is for me to do so.
But how was he there just in time to save her. I sigh.
Gales POV
Nova stares at me and my heart beats as I think of what will happen if she knows that I started that fire. What will she think of me? What will happen to me?
"Answer me Gale." I say. I stay quiet and my palms get sweaty. I should have never done this...I should have never listened to Eric and Sofia...bow the practically own because of what I did and if i ever turn my back to them I know they will tell sparks what I did.
"I-I...I mean that...this is all my fualt because..."
"Because what!?" Insists Nova.
"Because I wasn't there to save you in time!" I say quickly and he stares and I continue.
"I-I promised myself that I will protect you and I failed you...you fainted when I came in and saved you." I say.
"You saved me?" She says.
I nod.
"I-I...I'm sorry I thought you meant...something else..." she says. I feel relief as she believed what I said.
"But...thankyou...thanks for saving me Gale...what can in do to repay you?" She asks and I remember the words Sofia said to me...of how grate full Nova will be when she knows I saved her.
"I'll think about it." I say with a smile and Nova smiles back. I lean up and kiss her forehead softly and smile at her.
"Thanks a lot for saving me." She whispers.
'' I couldnt just let you there to burn alive...were friends." I say and she smiles wider.
"I hope we stay friends forever." She says and I nod.
"Well I'll leave you now...I'm sure...Sparks is dying to see you." I say and she nods. I stand and walks towards and exit and I see sparks standing next to he foot and he quickly leans off of the wall and looks at me. We state at eachother for a while till sparks sighs and I just keep staring at him.
"You didn't try anything funny did you?" Says Sparks angrily. I roll my eyes.
"No." I say and he glares a little.
Sparks POV
"I may be in love with nova...but I won't hurt her." Says gale.
"Ya sure about that?" K say and he glares.
'What are you saying?" He snaps.
"Never mind I don't want to fight..." I say and gale nods roughly.
"I just...wanted to thank you." I say.
"For what?" He says.
"For saving nova...thanks." I say.
"I didn't do it for you, you know that right." He says and I sigh.
"Yes...but thanks anyway." I say he doesn't say a word...instead he turns around and walks away. I sigh and enter Novas room again.
"Hey beautiful." I say and she smiles.
"Hey Sparks." She says and I walk up to her and sit down.
"How did it go?" I ask she smiles.
"Okay...Gale was really nice to save me...and I'll always love him for that." She says.
"Love him?" I ask she giggles and kisses my cheek.
"I meant love like...a friendly kind of love. Not like the love I have for you." She says and I smile at her. She kisses me and I kiss her back softly. Novas kisses have always warmed me up inside and I like it...she's the perfect girl for me and she will always be. We broke apart and Nova smiles at me.
"I love you Sparks." She whispers.
"I love you too Nova." I say and she giggles a little.

...
"Sparks I'm fine." Says Nova as she gets on the wheelchair.
"You sure? If you anything please ask." I say she smiles and nods. I push the wheel chair with nova sitting on it out the door. I walk through the hall ways and we see Miss. Witt and she walks to us.
"Nova! Oh Nova...I'm SK happy your fine." She says and Nova smiles.
"Its okay...and Miss. Witt...I've been meaning to ask you...where are you living?" She asks.
"They are building my house up again and for now I'm going to have to leave town." She says.
"Oh no...please don't leave." Says Nova.
"But I have to...there building my house and for now I have to go somewhere else." She says.
"You can stay at my house." Says Nova.
"But I don't want to be a bother.' She says
"Its fine...my house is too big...and I'm alone in that house." Says Nova.
"Are you sure its fine?" Says .
"Yes...please come live with me." Says nova.
"Oh Nova thank you...your the most generous person I have met." She says.
"That's why I love her." I say and Nova blushes and it makes my heart melt.
" well were off." I say Miss. Witt waves and I push the wheelchair out the hospital as I take nova home.

When me and Nova arrived home Nova walked inside and I kept on wanting to carry her because I thought she might hurt herself. She opens her door and we enter her home and she walks to the stairs. I sigh and walk to her and pick her up bridal style.
"Sparks?" She yelps. I smile and kiss her cheek as I walk her up stairs.
"I think I'm capable enough of walking upstairs on my own." She says and I smirk.
"Are you really." I say and she crosses her arms. I smile and open the food to her room and walk to her bed and lay her down. J sit next to her legs and she smiles at me and a question come to my mind.
"Nova?" I say.
"Yea?"
"What did you get at Miss Watts house? You told me you forgot something." I say. She looks at me and then smiles.
"Can you bring me my bag?" She says I nod and grab it and hand it to her. She takes out her folded jeans that she removed at the hospital and reached inside the pocket and took out a little yellow heart.
"Miss Witt made them...I wanted to surprise you with it." She says as she hands me the heart.
"Its for our necklace." She says as she takes out her necklace from under her shirt and shows it to me and sure enough there's a red heart in the middle of it. I chuckle a little.
"What?" She says.
"I love you." I away as I take my necklace out and clip on the yellow heart in the middle and Nova smiles at me.
"Now you know that my dreams and my love...would always be you." I say and she smiles wider.
"Mine too sparks. I love you." She says and I kiss her and she kisses ms back softly and I put my hands on her cheeks and bring her closer.

Gales POV
I smashed the rock and kicked it into the lake, not caring at all. I look around at the lake and glare at it...I remember when we used to have lots of fun here...playing around hut its all different now. Were not kids anymore and we have to fight for love.
Fight for who we love the most and care about the most...but Sparks has taken that away from me.
"Stupid!" I yell as I throw a rock against a tree. I grab some sand and throw it too. Stupid! Stupid!
"Gale?" I heard someone call me so I turned around angry.
"What!?" I yelled and saw it was Gabby. She stepped back a little and I sighed.
"What do you want?" I say.
"I just came for a swim but...I saw you like this." She says and I shake my head.
"Its non of your buisness what I do!" I yell.
"Oh...but it is Novas buisness...isn't it?" She says and I get more angry.
"Why would you care!" I yell.
"Because i know she doesn't love you...she never will! She's in love with Sparks and she only loves you as a brother." She says.
"You know nothing Gabby." I say.
"Look...I know your angry because you want a lover...I can be that lover...I can love you , I can show you-" I cut her off.
"Stop talking nonsense." I say she walks closer.
"Its not nonsense...its my feelings to you! I love you Gale and it huelrts me to seen you in love with my best friend when I know she isnt going to love you back." She says and I glare and she walks right in front of me and places a hand on my cheek.
"Ill make you happy...just give me a chance...please…" She whispers. And before I know it I find myself kissing her.
