Naruto: To Love Ruto

A/N: Hello Everybody! Sorry for the long delay in posting this chapter.

This may be the last update for a little while as I focus on sorting out things in my personal life such as buying my own home and sorting out all the bits that come with it. I may upload a few of the requested stories that I have lying around in my inbox. Essentially, they are either one-shots or the first chapter of stories that I may or may not continue in the future.

Anyway I hope you all enjoy this chapter. It is the last time travel chapter for a bit and the next few chapters will signal the start of the final arc for this story.

Thanks to everyone who was patient enough to wait for this chapter and I hope it doesn't disappoint.

Disclaimer: You know the deal.

Chapter 36: Battle for Sol Part 2
Asmodea's Destruction

Lady Mito's Flagship, 30 minutes prior to the Damus Wave

The control room of Lady Mito's flagship had a sombre atmosphere. Every member of her crew was an elite, countless missions undertaken until they stood virtually unopposed in their areas of expertise, veterans of countless battles all the way from the officers to the janitors, so it probably didn't sit well with them that they were hanging back. They remained as spectators while their fellow Charmians died in the battle that raged in the Asteroid belt of the Sol System.

Even with the advantage Charmians held in space combat, there was still a high risk of death especially if the Devilukians managed to board a Charmian ship. The bestial warriors were too much for all but the most elite of Charmian troopers to fight against. As they stared at the tactical displays, the crew muttered prayers to the Arcangus and let out groans every time a friendly contact disappeared from the display, like the one that had just vanished.

"High Priestess, The Prophecy has just been destroyed. Estimated 83 fatalities." One of the many Charmians gathered in the control room called out. "They were overrun and triggered the self-destruct sequence. First fleet is operating at approximately 91 % combat efficiency, the Support fleet is still at 100% although I am receiving reports that energy drain on the shields appears greater that anticipated. It is suspected this is due to the Damus spirit entombed within Yokubo. Her fleet is at 32% combat effectiveness and it is expected we should defeat them with minimal casualties on our side. The Decadence is already showing massive structural damage. It won't take much to cause her destruction." The officer indicated the largest red blip on the tactical display, the Princess Yokubo's dreadnought, the Decadence.

"May the Divine Seven receive the souls of the faithful fallen," Mito clasped her hands in prayer. "And bless our weapons to end this conflict swiftly."

"How are our… allies shaping up," The commander of the fleet, Shinko, seemed disgusted at referring to Gid's fleet as such.

"The Allied Fleet is standing at 70% combat effectiveness according to our readings." A female voice called from one of the main displays. "Allied Flagship is showing signs of moderate damage but no critical failures. It is currently surrounded by hostile space craft but appears to be winning in its engagement."

"Unsurprising," Shinko scowled, "As ugly as they are, Devilukian ships are especially hard wearing. They are basically giants blocks of armour with guns poking out of them. Lady Mito?"

"Yes?" The High priestess looked at the officer, "Is something wrong?"

"I was wondering… What are your plans for the Divine servant?" Shinko fidgeted awkwardly, a most unusual action from the usually self-assured Commander.

"My plans?" Mito blinked, trying to work out what Shinko was getting at.

"If he is truly a divine servant then could we not use him in this battle? It seems a waste to keep such a powerful tool in reserve." The stern woman adjusted her posture, feeling ill at ease with Mito's piercing gaze upon her.

"Seraphii-sama has a limited pool of energy before he is returned from whence he came, relying too heavily on his powers at this stage could prove to be a fatal mistake. I do not like our people dying no more than you, but a being such as a Seraphim is one that must be deployed only in the direst of circumstances." Mito's poker face hid the fact she was lying. The truth was she had no idea what his powers were and how he could help when it came to a full-on battle such as this. Still he was good for moral if nothing else and she wasn't averse to having a good looking human hanging around.

"I… I understand." Shinko bowed her head. "Er… Mito-sama. I have a question."

"Another? You're talkative today Shinko-chan. Has Seraphii-sama's presence has such an effect on you?" Mito chuckled.

"I apologise for the inconvenience." Shinko bowed her head.

"No, it's quite alright. What is your question?" The High priestess hid her smile behind her hand.

"Can Seraphii-sama breed?"

The whole control room went silent and turned to look at the commander with looks varying from confusion to bemusement. Even Shinko herself seemed shocked that she had mentioned it.

"Commander?" Mito chuckled. "Do you find yourself attracted to him?"

"N-Not at all," Shinko shook her head furiously, "I mean… If he can breed with a Charmian then surely his offspring could remain in this world after his departure, carrying his blood and his powers, albeit weakened down versions of them. Would it not make sense from a military perspective to have him father as many children as possible before he is recalled to the Divine's side?"

"Would you volunteer your womb for such a purpose?" The High priestess returned her attention to the screens showing the on-going battle, a slight hint of a smile still gracing her face despite her best attempts to remain poker faced.

"If that is the High Priestess' will." Shinko bowed her head.

"Hmm…" Mito closed her eyes, deep in though. "While it is true that having such children amongst us would bolster our ranks… I do not believe this divine servant would agree to fertilise anyone. However," a flicker of mischief passed across her face before she schooled it into her usual peaceful expression, "If you wish to receive his child, feel free to try. Failing that If you can get him to accept or offer a locket of his hair it would be a massive boon to our people. Having one of our elites engaged to a Seraphii is good for moral."

"For the sake of the Ecclesiarchy, I will not fail you." Shinko saluted. "A child of a chosen one shall be born of my womb and commit themselves to the future of our proud species."

"Well, let's wait until this battle is over," Mito gestured to the tactical display showing the first line of Charmian frigates getting into an optimal firing range. "By the Arcangus' grace, this battle should be over shortly and then we can think about what happens next."

"As you wish, High Priestess," Shinko turned her attention to the display and began issuing orders.

Lala's Laboratory – Present

Sometimes, Rito (or Riko as she was currently being addressed as) wondered how his life would have played out if not for Lala crashing her spaceship into his parent's house. He'd probably still be a human male for a start. Maybe he would have finally worked up the courage to confess to Haruna and they would be dating and maybe even more, although if he were honest with himself he would have to admit his relationship with Haruna would probably be the same as it was now, practically non-existent. Just thinking about being with her was enough to make him blush and stammer.

Still, while he might not have had a change in relationship status, Rito doubted that he would be stuck in a female canine-human hybrid body. He might have been playing soccer or hanging out with Saruyama. Instead he was stuck inside what appeared to be a warehouse that somehow went on longer than the mostly human ex-boy could see.

There were large sets of racking arranged in aisles with various strange symbols which Rito assumed were some sort of identification markers. Each rack was packed with bright blue crates that varied from roughly the size of a handheld console to the size of a tank. Some of the crates were marked with symbols that were vaguely familiar, such as a skull and cross bones, what looked like the corrosive warning symbol and in several cases, an 18 surrounded with a red circle. Rito decided not to pry into what exactly they were.

To put the time machine somewhere where it could easily be found by Naruto in the future, Lala had decided to 'enter' her D-dial and with nothing else to do: Riko, Yui, Risa, Kushina, Mikan and Yami all joined her inside. Mikado agreed to keep an eye on Nana for when she finally awoke and to keep in contact just in case Naruto did re-appear and Momo agreed to keep an eye on Megal and Adon, who were both still fast asleep.

"So…" Yui fidgeted awkwardly as she looked around. "This is inside your phone? Did we… Did we get shrunken?"

"Of course not," Lala beamed, "Shrinking is really hard to pull off correctly. This is just opening a door to a piece of reality that i artificially created then formed a small dimension in which I can store things that can be accessed via my D-Dial."

"And that's easier?" Kushina shook her head. "You really are something special, aren't you?"

"Hehe," The bubbly princess beamed at the praise.

"Is there some sort of device to turn me back to normal in here?" Rito asked optimistically, glancing along the many shelves.

"Probably," Lala nodded. "However pretty much all of them would probably kill you in the process and Naruto said that wasn't an option. The ones that won't kill you will probably make you wish they did but if you want to be a guinea pig for them…"

"Sometimes I wonder if Naruto is the only reason you haven't killed me off," Rito sweat dropped. "But there must be at least 100,000 gadgets in here! How do you keep track of them?"

"Simple," The mad scientist/ princess pointed to what looked like a computer terminal. "I have every invention I have ever made stored in a computer and there are regular terminals such as that one that you can use to find things."

"Really?" Rito ran over to the console and tapped the screen, only to be greeted by a collection of strange symbols. "Er… I can't read this."

"That's because it is in devilukian." Lala walked over to the screen and pressed several buttons until the familiar calligraphy of Japanese characters appeared on the screen.

"So, you do have your own language Lala-san?" Yui looked at the pink haired alien. "I had assumed it was a coincidence that we spoke the same language seeing how you are able to speak perfect Japanese and have no difficulty reading and writing."

"It took me a week to learn Japanese!" The devilukian puffed her chest out proudly. "Oh, and I am actually speaking Devilukian right now. It's just my universal translator makes you hear me in your own language." She tapped her throat. "All advanced aliens are expected to carry them and on Deviluke and her colonies they are usually injected into children prior to them finishing school. It makes inter-galactic diplomacy so much easier! Not that Papa worries about that much." She let out a soft sigh. "Threatening to blow up a planet is pretty easy to get across without speaking the language. He tends to just show them videos of previous planets he has destroyed, and they get the hint."

"Is it the same with you Yami-chan?" Mikan glanced at the stoic assassin.

"I was created with the ability to rapidly process and learn different languages, so I am actually speaking in your native tongue." Yami replied in dull monotone. "I don't really have a native tongue but can speak in several different species' languages."

"Wow that's really impressive," Mikan beamed at her friend, who merely tilted her head as if confused why the younger Yuuki was praising her.

"Hey this sounds like it could help, well at least the description does. The name is a bit…" Riko rubbed the back of his head as he stared at the console. "'I wish I was a super strong woman who didn't need to be in the stupid suitor games'-kun: Let your outer form reveal your true self!"

"Hmmm…." Lala frowned as she walked over to the console. "Ah it's marked with a yellow frown."

"What's that mean?" Riko glanced at Lala who had screwed up her face with distaste, as if remembering something disgusting.

"It sort of works but not how I intended it to," She let out a cute sigh as she tapped a few icons on the screen until a small block of text showed up. "Let's see… this makes a version of you that is how you always wanted to be but the 'perfect' you only last a few hours. Usually enough time for you to realise that you are better off as you are after it has destroyed half the planet."

"That's dangerous!" Rito leapt back from the panel. "And what did you think your perfect self was?!"

"I made it when I wasn't very happy with my lot in life." The alien princess looked embarrassed. "When I was five I spent a lot of time being sent to meetings about potential suitors and I… I didn't like it very much and I made a lot of weapons during that time like 'I'm not marrying a stupid alien that is mostly tentacles and smells like a unclean toilet'-kun which was a bomb that made all men infertile on a planet or the 'I don't care how much candy he would give me I still hate his guts'-kun ray which converted a planet into a molten wasteland. I wasn't in a good place." She let out a weak laugh. "I mean I never actually met any of them in person since the competition didn't officially start until I reached 15 but I was still expected to know about them, so I could be a good wife." Despite her smile, even Riko could tell there was a rage simmering beneath that peaceful face.

"You were having to worry about arranged marriages at that young age?!" Yui looked horrified. "I… I'm sorry Lala-san." She smiled at the princess. "I… I can't imagine how bad that would be."

"Thanks, Yui-chan!" Lala beamed and hugged the surprised disciplinarian. "While I'm really glad that I met Naruto, I also glad I got to meet you too!"

"Honestly, I'm more surprised about the five-year-old mad scientist making WMDs…" Rito sighed as he started to play around with the console, ignoring Yui's embarrassed cries.

"Well that's all behind me now!" Lala declared proudly as she released Yui. "I'm a changed woman! I'm much better at naming things now! Well I have to be, I'm a mother of two beautiful daughters..." Lala made a sweeping gesture in the air and created a holographic display showing the sleeping twins. Megal was softly stirring in her sleep as she cuddled up to the Naruto dakimakura and Adon had started to chew on hers, one whole corner already lost to her insatiable appetite. "The future heirs of Deviluke."

"Well if Naruto becomes Emperor won't my children be the heirs?" Risa asked.

"Why would they?" The princess was completely stumped.

"Because I was the first bride," The bemused smirk that Risa wore slowly faded as Lala turned to her and fixed her with a stare.

The princess smiled with her mouth only, slowly lifting the corners of her mouth as if struggling against a great weight before walking over to the console. "Say Find-Find-kun. Could you get me the 'I hate that you smell and want to eliminate every particle of you from reality'-kun."

"Oh Yandere-Lala, haven't seen you for a while," Risa laughed weakly as she held up her hands in mock surrender.

"Error. No device found." A soft electronic voice called out from thin air, causing the girls to jump.

"Oh, I must have destroyed that one," Lala sighed. "Oh well. Never mind."

"Error! Error! Corruption in data banks. Several erroneous entries discovered." The computer suddenly declared and in a flash of blue light, several blue crates appeared on the floor next to the group. There were six in total, four that were suitcase sized and two large ones.

"Sorry!" Riko retreated from the console looking sheepish. "I must have pressed a wrong button or something."

"Muu!" Lala frowned. "I guess I'll have to manually work out what they are and refile them."

She picked up the first suitcase sized box and looked at the symbol markers critically before opening it cautiously. Inside it were several components that looked like parts of a rifle. With a cheerful hum Lala assembled the weapon and frowned as she looked at it. "I think this is Alter-Alter-kun."

"Alter-Alter?" Rito repeated.

"Yup," Lala nodded. "It… Well sort of changes your personality. I made it when I was eight to see if I could make Papa more reasonable and stop trying to force me to marry people… Instead he tried to marry me himself, so I sealed this gadget away after Mama nearly killed him." Lala started reading the documentation that was in the crate.

"Your mother?" Yui frowned. "That would be Sephie-san, correct? She didn't strike me as the violent sort."

"She gets a bit crazy when it comes to romance," Lala laughed. "Strange thing is she seemed peeved Papa survived. I seem to remember her saying he could have messed everything up or something."

"She's another Yandere huh?" Riko sweat dropped. "Must be hereditary."

"How does Alter-Alter-kun work then?" Risa asked, hoping to turn the conversation away from Lala and Yandere tendencies.

"I'll show you!" Lala beamed as she aimed at Risa and fired. Rather than a loud bang, there was a soft humming noise as a beam of light struck the flirtatious teen and enveloped her entire body. After a few seconds the glow faded, and Risa appeared unharmed although her attire had changed.

Prior to being struck by the beam she had been wearing one of Naruto's shirts with the top buttons undone to show off her cleavage as well as some short pants but when the light faded she appeared to be wearing a nun's outfit and desperately trying to keep as much of her flesh covered as possible. "Kotegawa-san…" She glanced at the girl who was wearing a plain blue shirt and a matching skirt that stopped just above her knees. "You should not show so much skin. It really is quite shameless."

"I… I…" Yui's brain seemed to spark and fry, "I'm shameless?" She fell to her knees, staring into the distance in shock.

"Er… Okay?" Rito blinked at her attitude change. "This is kind of creepy. Can you turn her back?"

"Of course!" Lala beamed as she pulled the trigger again. "Huh… Nothing's happening. Did I break it?" She frowned as she sat down and put the rifle on her lap to start working on it again only for the weapon to hum and fire another beam of light, only this time it struck Yui.

"Ah Yui-chan!" Lala blinked. "Sorry, it must have a recharge time between shots!"

"Who ya calling chan?" Yui sneered as the light faded away, revealing her new attire. She was stood with only bindings covering her breasts and a large white haori with the symbols Tyrant of the Corridors on the back in red. Her hands were in the pockets of large school trousers and she appeared to be wearing heavy boots. "You really piss me off y'know?"

"Kotegawa-san?!" Rito blinked.

"Eh? What the hell are you staring at eh? You wanna get an ass kicking," She stepped forwards, cracking her knuckles and Rito quickly stepped backwards, shaking his head desperately.

"Thought so, what a pussy," Yui scoffed, "Man, where's Naruto? I'm feeling horny and my fingers ain't up to the job."

"Please calm yourself. Your shameless acts must stop." Risa clasped her hands together, "Let us pray away the immoral thoughts together!"

"The only thing I'm praying is that you shut your trap," Yui rolled her shoulders and cracked her neck. "Or better yet, don't and I'll make ya."

"This is really weird, turn her back now!" Rito begged.

"Will do!" Lala pointed the gun at Yui who rolled to the side and grabbed another suitcase crate, which she used to block the princess' shot.

"It'll take more than a fancy gun to take me down!" Yui declared as she hurled the case at Lala, striking the gun which sparked and shattered into pieces. "It never did sit right with me that you were the queen bitch." Yui cracked her knuckles. "Maybe I should teach ya the pecking order huh?" She leaned forward. "Naruto's mine. After all wasn't I the first person he confessed to without prompting? Does that irritate ya princess? You had to chase him around whereas he chased after me?"

"Well technically Haruna was the first person he confessed to," Kushina corrected Yui, but was ignored.

"Well this is problematic," Lala sighed as she picked up the broken rifle. "This will take a whole five minutes to fix!"

"Tch, ignoring me, are you?" Yui scowled and spat at the floor, prompting a horrified gasp from Risa who got on her knees and tried to clean it up. "Maybe I ought to teach you some respect," She cracked her knuckles and advanced on the princess.

"Lala?" Rito glanced at the pink haired alien who seemed more interested in the device in her arms that the angry Alter-Yui advancing on her.

"Oh, I'll be fine, Yui-chan is only human and I'm (mostly) devilukian. Even if she has a different personality now there is no way she could actually-" Lala was cut off by a fierce punch that send her hurtling down the aisle and skidding along on her back with a confused expression on her face. "Hurt me?" She rubbed her sore cheek.

"Hehehe…" There was a faint red aura surrounding Yui, making the haori she was wearing flutter as if it were caught in a soft breeze. "I don't get what's going on, but I feel amazing!" She clenched her fists as the red aura intensified. "Who's next?! I'll take you all on!"

"Wait a minute…" Lala blinked in confusion. "There is no way a human can use a weak Damus aura. Never mind one that is like… Naruto's…" She sighed. "Yui-chan… Did Naruto ever use his aura when you were intimate?"

"Ya mean when we were fucking?" Yui smirked. "Sometimes. It made him so primal." She let out a giggle with an obscene expression on her face.

"Ah…" Lala sighed. "I figured as much. I'm protected thanks to Satalin, but I guess a standard human wouldn't have any resistance. You must be saturated with Naruto's Damus energy although that doesn't explain how you can use it… Maybe my invention is more awesome that I thought." She glanced at the destroyed rifle with no small amount of pride.

"That isn't the only thing of Naruto's I'm hoping to be saturated with before the day is through," Yui licked her lips again.

"How shameless!" Risa gasped.

"Fuck yeah I'm shameless," Yui smirked before leaping backwards as Yami attempted to capture her with her hair.

"…Ecchi." Yami narrowed her eyes as Yui pointed a finger threateningly at the blonde-haired assassin.

"So ya wanna brawl, do you?" Yui crouched and leapt at Yami, who blocked the feral lunge with her hair, wrapping it around Yui's arm and tossing her only for her eyes to widen as Yui landed on her feet with a wince.

"Yami-chan, Kotegawa-san!" Mikan watched on nervously before looking at Riko. "Rito-nii you've got to do something before they hurt each other!"

"What exactly can I do?!" Rito pointed at the two figures. The very air between Yui and Yami seemed to crackle with the glare Yui was sending at the dispassionate Yami, who was somewhat hamstrung by her inability to upset Mikan.

"I can fix this!" Lala declared as she got to work on the rifle. "Just keep Yui-chan distracted!"

"Oh no you don't!" Yui tried to charge Lala, only for Yami to intercept her with a barrage of firsts made from hair. "Tch…" Yui skidded backwards, her arms starting bruise as she protected her vital areas.

"Maybe something in these other crates could help?" Mikan suggested as she raced over and struggled to open one of the cases.

"I hope Naruto's having more luck than we are," Kushina sighed as she ran over to the boxes to help Riko and Mikan find something to subdue Yui.

Back in the Past

Naruto sighed as he stood awkwardly, naked save for his bright orange boxer shorts. Shortly after Yokubo had cut the communication between her ship and Mito's, Sephie had dragged the chronologically displaced protagonist into the armoury to be issued armour. He had now been stood here for at least ten minutes and was gradually becoming aware of how cold the room was.

He looked around at the various weapons on display. For a highly advanced alien race, Naruto was shocked to see so many melee weapons. There were ornate halberds made from a white metal, with intricate blue patterns cut along the blade, needle point rapiers that seemed so fine that the blade could snap in a breeze and javelins with powder blue ribbons that fluttered softly in the air-conditioned room.

"I apologise for the delay, Seraphii-sama," Sephie entered the room with a soft smile, and not much else much to Naruto's confusion. "I am ready to take your measurements now."

"Okay two questions. One, aren't you the high priestess in training or something? Surely taking my measurements isn't your job?"

"It is not my duty but my privilege." She smiled at him with such a disarming honesty that Naruto almost forgot the second question, although as she walked towards him, a slight bobbing drew his attention back to his second question.

"Why are you just wearing lingerie?!" Naruto asked.

"Does this displease Seraphii-sama?" Sephie paused as she looked at her own appearance. Just as Naruto was clad only in his boxers, Sephie was wearing silken white panties with light blue embroidery and a matching bra. They were so thin they were practically see through. "I believed that it was only fair seeing as you were required to bare so much flesh."

"W-well no," Naruto looked away. "I mean… You are very attractive but it… well…" He coughed awkwardly. "It might be a bit distracting?"

"How so?" Sephie tilted her head and looked thoughtful. "If the patterns are distracting for you, I can take them off." She moved to undo her bra only for Naruto to quickly stop her.

"I'll… They're fine. I was just thinking you might get cold."

"Oh, there is no need to worry," Sephie beamed at him, "Charmians have a slightly lower body temperature compared to humans and Devilukians, so this room is actually a quite pleasant for me. If you are too cold though just let me know and I will take measures to warm you up however it may become too hot for me and I may need to disrobe."

"It's okay, I'm not that cold," Naruto tried to look away as Sephie bent over in front of him to pick up a tape measure from the floor.

'Oh, come on. She is clearly doing this on purpose. Pull down those panties and let's screw up time and Sephie! Come to think of it… Do you know that Sephie doesn't have an illegitimate love child from you? You could be killing off your own child by refusing to have sex with her. You monster.' Asmodea tutted.

'Sephie is just very trusting so feels she can dress like that and not be attacked by me. Plus, if we did have a child together, don't you think Sephie would have said something back in the present.' Naruto countered as the pink haired maiden stood back up and smiled at him before walking up to him and reaching around him with the tape measure and gesturing at him to raise his arms which he obliged.

'Maybe she didn't tell you because that love child is Lala and she didn't want to break you up! Dum-dum-DUM!' Asmodea declared dramatically, just to get ignored by Raph and Naruto.

"I just need to take this reading…" She mumbled as she looked over his shoulder at the tape measure, pushing her breasts into his chest.

Naruto tried to think of unsexy things, lest Naruto junior awaken and given their proximity, there was no way the future high priestess wouldn't notice and the last thing he needed was her venting the two of them into the vacuum of space wearing only their underwear.

Sephie stepped back with a concerned look on her face. "You are shivering!"

"I am?" Naruto blinked, "I guess I must be getting a little cold."

'I know a good way for you to warm up…' Asmodea purred.

"Please allow me!" Sephie placed two fingers on her wrist as if checking for a pulse, then ran the two fingers up her arm to the centre of her palm, leaving a glowing blue trail that floated from her arm then formed into a small book, which the young Sephie started to look through. "Ah I see. May I have your hand Seraphii-sama?"

"Err.. Sure?" Naruto held out his hands and Sephie clasped the left one softly, gently massaging it before bringing it to her mouth and suckling on his fingers, slowly and methodically. This site was so erotic that Naruto was taken by surprise and watched dumbfounded for a good few minutes before regaining control. "H-hey!"

"Am I doing something wrong?" Sephie looked confused. "In the document Mito-sama provided, it said that you lose most of your body heat through your extremities and keeping them warm will help keep your core temperature up."

"W-Well that might be the case but how you're doing it…" Naruto coughed awkwardly. "It's…"

"Oh!" Sephie looked shocked. "I apologise. Of course. I understand what you are saying. I meant no disrespect."

"Oh, its fine!" Naruto laughed it off. "I mean it did warm me up a bit but…"

"I was administering treatment to the wrong extremity, wasn't I?" Sephie beamed.

"Yes, you see… Wait what did you say?!" The half-human blinked as his brain processed what she had just said.

"I shall administer treatment to the correct region," Sephie smiled as she reached for his boxers.

"W-w-what?!" Naruto pulled himself backwards but with his boxers around his knees, found himself flat on his back. "Sephie-san?!"

"Was I wrong Seraphii-sama? Was this not what you wanted?" Sephie blinked. "I apologise… I believed this would heat you up, but I see my figure does not inspire any fiery passions within your breast."

"…What?" Naruto blinked as he pulled up his boxers. "What are you saying?"

"Lady Mito gave me her blessings… She said it wouldn't count if it were you. After all, what would be immoral about receiving the love of a Seraphii? It would be a physical manifestation of the Arcangus' love for our people. You could spill your seed in my mouth, on my breasts and in my womb and it would be okay. I wouldn't be violating my oaths to the Ecclesiarchy. If you desire my body, then I beg you… Claim it." She knelt before him, her forehead resting against the floor as he pulled his boxers up.

'They you have it, she out right told you she wants Naruto Junior to play with.' There was a cheerful tone to the usual silken voice of Asmodea. 'Well?"

"I… I see…" Sephie took Naruto's frozen response as rejection. "I… I shall leave you. I have sinned by believing this unseemly vessel was worthy of Seraphii-sama's attention. I shall spend my life in a Convent and hopefully redeem myself."

"I… er…" Naruto blinked. "Well…" He found himself unsure how to respond. If he wasn't careful he could prevent not only his own daughters but Lala, Momo and Nana from ever being born. But he couldn't just have sex with his future mother-in-law. "I don't think you should join a convent…"

"Am I beyond Salvation?" There was a choked sob from the future Empress of the Empire. If Naruto had looked a little closer, he would have noticed that although her shoulders shuddered, there was not a hint of any tears in her eyes.

'Great. You made her cry. I hope you are happy.'

'You monster.'

"Look," Naruto lifted her face by the chin, so he could look into her sad eyes. "It isn't that I don't want to. You're a very beautiful woman."

"Then why? Is this a test from the Arcangus? I have not felt such feelings in my chest but am I expected not to act on them, even with the blessings of a High Priestess?" Sephie pulled away from his hand. "If it is… If this is how the Arcangus treat their faithful, then maybe I should pledge myself to the Damus and revel in carnal desires without end?!"

'I like where this is going~'

'Is her faith so weak? Slap her Naruto and tell her I am disappointed.'

'I'll bet you're almost as disappointed as she was when she realised you were the Arcangus that Naruto 'serves'.'

Ignoring the bickering voices in his psyche, Naruto instead focused on the downtrodden Sephie. With most of his brain failing not to think about the sexy, almost naked priestess who had practically begged him to have sex with her, he wasn't able to think up a good excuse and decided to go with the truth. "Look… You might not believe this, but I am from the future. The reason I can't do anything with you is because I can't afford to mess up the present. You see in a few years or so, you will have a beautiful baby girl and after a few misadventures she will end up in my shower and start off a whole wacky chapter of my life. The thing is if she never ends up in my shower, I will never end up coming back in time."

"I see…" Sephie stared at the floor for what seemed like an age. "This girl of mine. Is she close to you?"

"Yeah," Naruto nodded.

"I see…" Sephie repeated as she looked up at him, a sad look in her eyes. "And did you really mean it when you said you wanted to lay with me but couldn't because of this time travel business?"

"That and I wouldn't want to cheat on your daughter." Naruto nodded. "I mean if she gave me the okay then…" He rubbed the back of his head, "But for some reason she seems to have a complex about you stealing me."

"She does?" There was a hint of an evil smile on her face that faded before Naruto could really see it." I see. But if she was in trouble, you'd want to save her right?" There was a strange look in Sephie's eyes that worried Naruto. It was the same sort of look that Lala had when Risa talked about being the first bride and it was one that made him worry a little for the safety of his precious people.

"Yes…" Naruto nodded slowly.

"So, let's say for example if someone held her life at ransom," Sephie smiled, "You'd give in to their demands to protect her?"

"If there was no other choice," Naruto frowned, trying to work out where Sephie was heading with this line of thought.

'Oh I see where this is going. And this is a high priestess candidate? Her thinking is practically Damus like!'

"So, let's say I refused to ever have sex unless you lay with me…" Sephie trailed off.

"I… I can't cheat on Lala," Naruto frowned.

"If you don't, she'll never be born." Sephie enveloped Naruto in a hug. "You said yourself you wanted to do this. I'm just giving you a reason to. Unless you were lying?"

'Er… need some help here. What do I do?'

'I think you should politely decline and tell her that she should live a chaste and pure life.'

'Wait really?'

'Hell no! Stop being so wishy-washy and show Sephie how you wield your fabled Excalibur.'

'Raph?'

'The representative of the Charmians must be a wise and unsullied woman. Clearly, she isn't wise as she thinks I am the weakest of the Arcangus so you must sully her so that she doesn't become the leader of our worshippers. It is your duty to save the Charmians from her clearly lacking judgement.'

While Naruto struggled to decide what to do, Sephie decided to capitalise on his hesitation and kissed him. The moments their lips touched it was if a spark ran through her entire body. No amount of reading Shoujo manga or hentai doujin could have prepared her for this sensation.

Acting mostly on auto pilot, Naruto returned and deepened this kiss, his tongue sparring with her as his hands started to work their way down her back before resting on her hips, noting her skin was cold to the touch and realising she was probably lying about not being cold. As Sephie broke the kiss and bit his lip, he realised that much like her future daughter, Sephie always got what she wanted in the end, only where Lala used earnest affection, Sephie was perfectly happy to use seduction.

When she resumed the kiss, it became more and more apparent that Sephie was inexperienced but what she lacked in skill she made up for in enthusiasm. Subconsciously, Naruto found himself comparing it to his first kiss with Lala. The two were similar yet different. Whilst Lala was full of love and passion, there was more lust and desire to Sephie's kissing technique.

The two pulled apart, their noses still touching as Sephie wiped the small trail of saliva from her mouth, a hungry look in her eyes as she pressed her body into Naruto's.

"Ah… Have you made you choice?" Sephie mumbled as she looked at her Seraphii saviour. "Are you going to stop my daughter from ever being born?"

"Sephie…" Naruto shook his head weakly. "You… I don't think you are the kind of person who would hold Lala's life ransom. You're a good person."

"I am not a good person, you see before I was picked up by the Ecclesiarchy I used my beauty to get everything I ever wanted. I am a selfish woman who only pretends to be a good person."

"That's not true," Naruto shook his head softly.

"Believe what you will, I will not lie to you Seraphii-sama. I have never wanted anything so much as I want you right now. If there is even the slightest chance I will honour my threat, are you the kind of person who would gamble on your lover's life?" Sephie stroked his hair. "Because I get the feeling that you aren't."

"You're just saying this to give me a reason to have sex with you," Naruto countered, although his apparent opposition to Sephie's advances was ruined by his hands clutching her rear and holding their lower bodies close together.

"That implies the only thing stopping you is a good enough reason," Sephie smiled mischievously as she reached into his boxers, "Because it certainly seems like your body is willing~"

'Okay… Let's be honest here. You both want to screw and here's the thing. Lala isn't alive yet, so it isn't cheating and if you are doing it, so she can be born then aren't you doing a good deed?'

'I thought you loved Lala but clearly not if you are willing to risk her never being born.'

'How am I the bad guy here?!' Naruto mentally protested.

'How about the fact you're groping your future mother in law?'

"Please…" Sephie's voice was full of such longing, Naruto felt himself unable to reject her. "Even if it is just for one night. I don't mind if you close your eyes and pretend I'm my daughter. Just let me feel you inside me."

"Sephie…" He stroked the side of her cheek, unable to think straight as her sad, pleading eyes seemed to burn into his very soul.

Suddenly the whole ship shook, and Naruto lost his balance.

"What the hell?!" Naruto cursed as he struck his head on the floor, dispelling the lust that had been building within him. There were a series of explosion, plunging the room into darkness and sirens started to blare. "I can't see a thing." He fumbled around blindly, any lingering desires replaced by equal parts frustration and relief.

"Damn it all!" Sephie cried out in frustration. "I was this close! What in the name of Michaela is going on?!"

Before Naruto could respond the was a soft humming and the lights returned. Various panels in the armoury were dead and sparking, but at least he could see now.

"Arcangus curse it all! I'd finally got the mood and everything just right…" Sephie muttered under her breath before marching over to a set of armour and putting it on. She turned to face Naruto, with a smile that didn't quite reassure Naruto, possibly due to her eyes betraying the murderous rage she was feeling. "Please do not let your lust dwindle. I have to check if anyone is dead."

'If there isn't… I have the feeling there soon will be.' Asmodea remarked as the future bride of Gid stormed out of the armoury, grabbing a halberd as she left.

Back to the Present

"Yui-chan?" Kushina coughed awkwardly as she walked through the many isles of the D-Dial's storage. "Are you around here?"

"Well, well, well," there was a sneer and several large cargo containers landed all around Kushina, blocking her escape. "If it isn't the old hag?"

"Say what," Kushina scowled. "I'll have you know I am still in the prime of my life! I'm Part-Charmian so that's gotta mean I have a slightly longer life span, right?! For all we know I could be underage!"

"I severely doubt that," Yui landed heavily, creating a small crater before standing up and brushing herself off, mostly unharmed. "An underaged kid wouldn't have so many wrinkles."

"Wrinkles?" Kushina twitched angrily. "I'll have you know my skin is smooth as silk! I regularly get mistaken for a twenty-year-old."

"You see… I really don't like you," Yui smirked. "You screwed your own step-son? Are you that desperate that ya had to play on Naruto's attachment to you?"

"Hey! He had sex with me well before I met him as a kid!" Kushina blinked. "I mean… Er… Time travel shenanigans."

"That's right…" Yui's eyes suddenly twinkled with mischief. "There is a time machine, right? And those two bastard offspring can power it together like they did for Saki, right?" She suddenly started laughing. "So, all I have to do is get the babies, use the time machine and change the past so that none of you can steal my Naruto." She licked her lips.

"Yeah… That's not happening for a whole bunch of reasons." The busty mother stretched out.

"Oh? Like what?"

"Like I'm not going to let you," Kushina took a deep breath and felt the faint power within her growing until a pale blue aura surrounded her. "From what I understand, what's left of my Arcangus Aura isn't that powerful, but you're just using the remnants of Naruto's energy, so it should be a match for you."

"Want to find out?!" Yui grinned ferally, whisker marks appearing on her face as the crimson aura surrounding her raged.

Kushina's responses was to lunge at Yui, boosting her speed with the aura and delivering a fierce right hook that struck Yui squarely on her cheek, causing her to skid backwards.

"I felt that. Got another in ya?" Yui spat some blood onto the floor. "Or is that all someone of your advanced age can do?"

"Man, you aren't that smart, are you?" Kushina grinned as she lunged again, but this time Yui managed to raise her arms up in defence, blocking the punch but leaving her wide open to a kick to her stomach that sent the delinquent flying backwards where she hit on the crates with a thud, cracking its display and causing the contents to fall out. "Oh wait… You're not pregnant right? Even Naruto would struggle to forgive me if I accidentally killed his next child."

"Bitch…" Yui staggered to her feet. "You're gonna regret that!"

"Hardly. Even if Lala's device inverted your personality, it can't give you combat experience if you've never fought before." Kushina cracked her knuckles. "Now why don't you just stay put until Lala fixes that machine and turns you back to normal?"

"How about you suck on this?!" Yui grabbed the device that had fallen out of the crate, a strange remote control looking device, and pointed it at Kushina, pressing a button marked in an unfamiliar script.

"What the…" Kushina tried to dive out of the way but was struck by the beam and found herself frozen, unable to move in a mid-dive position, as if gravity had conveniently forgotten its job.

"'Shut up and leave me alone'-kun: Allows you to freeze something outside of time. I'd completely forgotten about that one." The cheerful voice of Lala called out from atop the pile of containers. "It doesn't last very long and the person outside of time is immune to everything for the duration so all you've achieved is buying yourself a few moments."

"You?" Yui pointed the remote at Lala, only for Kushina to start moving again, with all the momentum she'd had prior to being frozen.

"Yeah it only works on one thing at a time," Lala gracefully leapt down as Kushina crashed into some crates cursing loudly. She aimed the fixed Alter-Alter in her possession at Yui and smiled sweetly. "Now please stay still and let me shoot you okay?"

"Like hell I will." Yui crouched and rolled as the eldest princess went to fire but found herself unable to pull the trigger as she looked Yui in the eyes. "Tch, I haven't got time for this," The self-proclaimed Tyrant of the Corridors channelled the aura to her legs and leapt ten feet into the air, before kicking off a cargo container and clearing the crates surrounding them, effortlessly dodging Lala's inaccurate fire.

"Muuu!" Lala stomped her feet with a cute pout on her face. "I need to work on the sights on this thing!" She suddenly sat down and started to dismantle the rifle.

"We don't have time for that!" Kushina shook her head. "She's going to use the Time machine in order to stop anyone other than herself from being with Naruto."

"But she can't do that," Lala tilted her head.

"She plans to use Megal and Adon to power it!"

"Even if she does," Lala spoke slowly, "If she succeeded, then there wouldn't be a Megal and Adon to bring her back to the past, so she'd end up creating a paradox."

"Then what happens?" The irate human glanced at the disinterested princess.

"Er? We get stuck in an infinite loop where Yui keeps preventing any of us from meeting Naruto which creates a timeline where Yui can't go back in time to stop us meeting Naruto so then we would but then Yui would be able to go back and stop us and…. Well you get the idea," The mad scientist merely shrugged.

"Why aren't you more worried about that?" Kushina was taken back by Lala's blasé attitude.

"Because the time machine is sealed in the secure region and she can't get access to it." Lala squinted as she looked at the optics attachment for the rifle, "Geez what was I thinking when I designed this sight? The follies of youth," She sighed as she tossed the attachment to one side and gestured with a hand, causing a small tray with various scopes and sights on it to appear.

"Lala… We are literally in your D-Dial now and Yui was able to get access to that stasis remote. What makes you think she won't be able to get the to the time machine?"

"Didn't I tell you I was locking it away so until Naruto is found, the time machine will be locked away beyond anyone's reach? Even I can't get access to it without the override code."

"Oh…" Kushina calmed down as Lala reassembled the rifle before pausing.

"Kushina-chan… I have a favour to ask of you."

"Yes?"

"Shoot me." Lala handed the rifle to Kushina.

"Er… Why?" Kushina looked between the serious looking princess and the rifle in her arms.

"I noticed when I was trying to shoot Yui… I think I don't have it in me to hit her, even though I know this gun is completely safe. She is like a sister to me and I don't think I could ever shoot a sister."

"You didn't hesitate to shoot Risa though," Kushina pointed out.

"…Well that's Risa," Lala waved a hand dismissively. "But if you invert my personality…."

"That could be very bad. We already have one super powered Naruto fanatic running around, what's to say that alternate you won't just kill everyone? Why not just let me shoot Yui instead?"

"As the leader of the harem, it is my duty to resolve these issues before they become an issue for Naruto." Lala declared proudly. "Besides Yui still has her love of Naruto, right? Theoretically I should still have my love for everyone too!"

"Including Risa?"

"… I am 90% sure I wouldn't harm Risa (irreparably)."

"What was that last bit?" Kushina deadpanned.

"Hehehe…" Lala laughed weakly. "It's not my fault Risa seems to think she is married to Naruto!"

"Well I'm not sure on the legality of it but she did have a wedding with him," Kushina merely shrugged. "Either way, we are all family, as Naruto likes to say. We lend each other our strengths. I'll shoot Yui for you if you can get me a clear shot."

"Kushina-chan…" Lala beamed at the woman. "Thank you!"

"Don't mention it." Kushina sighed as she looked in the direction Yui had fled. "I know if not for your time machine there's a good chance I would have never fallen in love with Naruto and had such a fun time. I could have…" She closed her eyes and tried to shake the thoughts of what could have happened had Naruto not gone back in time and met her. "I may not like having to share Naruto but… It's better than the alternative and I guess there are worse people than you to share him with."

"Right!" Lala nodded eagerly, "Now for the future happiness of our family! Let's shoot Yui-chan!" Lala beamed happily as she casually kicked aside the fifteen-foot blockade of crates. "Oh… And I suppose we should turn Risa-chan back as well. Oh well, I'll shoot her later."

Kushina was more than a little disturbed by the happy tone to Lala's last statement. 'I wonder if she gets that from her father.'

Back to the Past

"So… this is where it all ends huh?" Himari Sanguina leaned against the wall of the ship, clutching her bleeding arm. She was an elite soldier hand picked to serve on Mito's flagship and was honoured to give her life to protect the high priestess, having lived a respectably long life. Still as she lay down in a battle-scarred corridor with a much younger Charmian fussing over her injuries, she couldn't say she didn't have regrets. As she looked at the corpses of her fellow Charmians and the drug crazed devilukian berserkers that had boarded the vessel, she found herself wondering if she should have devoted more time to her family. She was going to die a middle-aged virgin, which while it carried no stigma (and was a good thing for a soldier of the Ecclesiarchy in Charmian society), she did wish she had children to spoil and watch grow up.

"Don't talk like that Himari-sempai," The young male fussing over her injuries looked at her reproachfully. "Michaella-sama willing, we'll get out of here alive.

"Sora-kun," Himari smiled fondly at the younger boy. "Leave me and fall back. Your life doesn't need to end here."

"I'm not leaving you here." Sora shook his head furiously.

"You're young." Himari brushed a lock of Sora's pure white hair. "You have so much left to live for. Don't you have any dreams you wish to fulfil."

Sora paused. "I have only one dream… One that I have devoted my life to."

"Oh?" Himari smiled as Sora resumed his care. "Sounds like an important one."

"I… I trained as hard as I could, took the most dangerous missions all for a chance to be chosen for this crew… To be able to serve alongside you."

"Sora?"

"Ever since I was young… You were always there for me. When my parents died in the Devilukian raids our home planet, when I graduated college… You have always been there for me." Sora paused in his ministrations. "I… I have always loved you."

"Sora…" Himari's eyes widened. "I…"

"So… Please don't tell me to leave." Sora lowered his head. "If you are to leave this world… Let me go with you to the Arcangus' side."

"I… I never knew…" Himari chuckled. " I always hated myself. One as old as me having feelings for one as young as you."

"You too…" Sora looked at her, hope clear in his eyes.

"Yeah…" Himari nodded and chuckled weakly. "I threw myself into the hardest training, went on the most dangerous missions all to distract myself from these feelings. I… I always assumed you would fall in love with someone of your own age." The two Charmians look at each other with a mixture of joy and embarrassment.

"KILL MAIN BURN!" A feral roar sounded from down the corridor and Sora turned to see and drug crazed berserker enter the room, dragging a bloodied and beaten Charmian. Judging from the angle of the Charmian's neck he was no longer of this world. The devilukian's skin was a mass of scar tissue as it turned its bloodshot eyes to look at the two living guards.

"Run Sora…" Himari pulled a small grenade from her belt. "I'll… I'll try and take him with me…"

"I'm not leaving you." Sora pointed his rife and fired at the howling devilukian, each shot knocking the creature backwards, but it merely turned to face him and let out a roar as it tossed the dead soldier at them, narrowly missing them.

"Fine then…" Himari grabbed Sora and pulled him in for a kiss.

"Himari…" Sora smiled as he held her close as he continued discharging his rifle at the advancing hostile, firing accurately but no matter where the blue energy blasts struck the charging beast, it seemed to shrug off the damage despite the deep and bleeding wounds being left by the weapons.

"In our next life then." The older woman smiled sadly as they hugged, the berserker charging towards them, only focused on the impending slaughter. She primed the grenade and closed her eyes.

"Michaela receive our souls," Sora whispered as the insane devilukian leapt at them, bracing himself for an attack that never came. The two released each other, Himari disarming the grenade with a look of surprise on her face.

The devilukian was reaching out to try and grab them, but had been impaled against the wall, a crystalline blue halberd stuck deep within the creature's chest as it opened its mouth to howl, but instead coughed up blood.

They watched in awe as Sephie stepped from a side corridor, wearing armour that made her look almost like a Valkyrie as she stepped forwards full of noble purpose. Her face was concealed by a mask but there was no doubt to her power. She was followed by a figure they didn't know by face but judging by the raw power he was emanating, they could hazard guess to his identity. He was wearing some light Charmian armour: a blue armoured vest over a mesh vest, a single crystal bracer and basic cargo pants.

"High priestess, Seraphii-sama," Sora bowed his head.

"This was a slaughter," Naruto looked in disgust around him. There must have been fifty dead Charmians, all killed in brutal and horrifying ways and only about six dead devilukians, all bearing several wounds that should have been fatal but judging by the fact the one Sephie had speared to a wall was still twitching and flailing despite having a spear through it's heart, Naruto assumed they had carried on fighting regardless. While most of him was disgusted, her berserker side was furious and wanted vengeance. He forced the dark feelings down, lest he become the mindless beast that had fought Yami again.

"The Devilukian boarders are all completely insane, drugs and Asmodea's influence have long corroded any sanity from their brains." Sephie shook her head sadly and muttered a brief prayer before turning to the two Charmians. "Fall back to the command room. Seraphii-sama and myself will join you shortly."

"By the Arcangus' grace." The two Charmians bowed and Sora helped Himari stand, the two hobbling down the corridor.

Sephie waited until they were gone from sight before reclaiming her halberd, giving it a sharp twist to shred the heart of the invader before pulling the spear free. Seeing Naruto was distracted by the carnage, she delivered a sharp kick to the corpse.

"That's for cock blocking me you bastards," Sephie smiled cheerfully at the dead devilukian before returning her attention to a furious Naruto. "Seraphii-sama?"

"This…" Naruto shook his head. "This is wrong."

"Such is the fate of those who hear the siren call of Asmodea, she is the great corrupter after all." Sephie bowed her head. "Ah, but I am sure you will be fine Seraphii-sama."

'Asmodea… Is this really the fate that awaits me?'

'Of course not! You've dealt with the corruption, right? That girl pretending to be your daughter?'

'…I guess. I haven't seen her since the Orochimaru incident. But isn't corruption your thing?'

'I wouldn't worry about As-chan's influence on you.' The choir of harmony that was Raphael's voice remarked softly. 'While it is true that what you see before you is the ultimate fate of all mortals who hear Asmodea… There are some special circumstances around you and As-chan.'

'Raphael!' Despite sounding like seduction incarnate, there was a clear edge to her voice that made it clear Asmodea wanted Raphael to say no more, which the Arcangus fragment honoured.

"What the hell happened?" Naruto mumbled as he and Sephie headed back to the main control room.

There were surprisingly few people in the control room as Naruto and Sephie arrived.

"Seraphii-sama," Mito bowed her head. "It appears we are in need of your strength."

"What happened?" Sephie frowned. "How are we being boarded?!"

"It appears that Yokubo had some tricks up her sleeve and the entire fleet is disabled." Mito gestured to the tactical display. There were only a handful of contacts reporting back and all were a fair distance from the giant red contact bearing down on the stricken vessel.

"We have limited weapons and our main engines are still rebooting," Shinko walked into the command room, blood on her uniform but otherwise unharmed. "We just got our Point defences back online, so we can repel the remaining troop transports and local defences are reinitialised, so we haven't lost the ship but that's the only good news. The Decadence has us trapped in some sort of gravity field, so we can't leave the Sol System without either destroying the Decadence or somehow disabling it."

"What about the Devilukian fleet?" Naruto felt his heart freeze. If Gid or Kurama were in trouble, then things were in a bad way.

"Fortunately for them, the technique used to cripple our fleet is only effective against Arcangus ships so Gid's fleet is perfectly fine." Shinko scowled. "However, they are too far away to assist us, if they were willing to in the first place."

"Why wouldn't they?" Naruto blinked.

"They didn't warn us that the Devilukian's were able to generate a wave of Damus energy like that without the Emperor's presence. It is possible Gid himself didn't know but…" Shinko's tone made it clear she didn't believe that.

"He intended to use us as a distraction for Yokubo, so he could fight his brother then he will wipe us all out afterwards," Sephie clenched her fists. "I should have known a devilukian couldn't be trusted."

Mito glanced at Naruto, who realised that it was incredibly likely that Gid had planned all of this.

"Damn it," Naruto sighed. "I was the one who told you to accept this alliance and now…"

"It isn't your fault Seraphii-sama!" Shinko and Sephie said in sync before looking at each other.

Before anything else could be said, a group of twelve Charmians wearing heavy looking power suits stepped into the room. Naruto recognised two of them as the two that Sephie had saved.

"We are ready to board the Decadence!" The lead soldier saluted.

"Board the Decadence?" Naruto blinked.

"The only way for us to get the High Priestess and her chosen replacement out of here is to disable the gravity field. I fear that Yokubo herself is powering it which means… We need to kill her to escape or at the very least distract her somehow." Shinko bit her lip. "We have one transport vessel that survived the Devilukian boarder's destruction. We… We have one elite crew to send to save this vessel."

"What are the chances of survival?" Naruto asked.

Silence was his answer.

"So, you are throwing your lives away?" Naruto clenched his fist.

"To die in the service of the Arcangus is an honour." The lead guard commented grimly. "If we die to save Mito-sama then our deaths were not in vain."

"Can you even guarantee the transport will make it to the Decadence without being shot down?" Naruto retorted.

"Unfortunately, the Damus Wave disabled our long-range teleporters." Shinko glanced at the tactical display. "Even if we could launch a tracer torpedo we couldn't power the teleporters. We'd need a fresh Arcangus power cell."

"Damn it… Did I do this?" He bit his lip. He had thought he was saving Gid and his mother but instead it seemed like he was dooming Sephie.

"We can only hope the Arcangus are with us," The lead guard remarked.

Naruto glanced at the display with a scowl, fully aware of all the eyes on him. They believed he was some sort of divine servant and were probably hoping he would bless them or something. He let out a sigh. "You are to stay here and guard Sephie and Mito."

"Seraphii-sama?!" The was a cry of shock.

"But if we don't send someone to the Decadence to disable whatever is causing the gravity manipulation…."

Naruto grit his teeth as he called upon the full power of his aura, the purple aura surrounding him and simultaneously destroying and rebuilding all his body. "I got you all into this mess. I'll get you out of it."

"Seraphii-sama…" Shinko fell to a knee and bowed her head, followed shortly by everyone save Sephie and Mito. "If that is your will."

"But…" Sephie looked down before glaring at Naruto. "Fine then… But… If you don't survive and come back… The one you love shall never be born! So… You've got to come back right!"

"Sephie?" Mito smiled softly at her future replacement.

"I don't make promises I can't keep." Naruto clenched his fist. "But I can promise you… You will see me again." He nodded at Sephie who seemed to accept this. "But first I need a way to get over there."

"Well… we could use the teleporters if Seraphii-sama powered them himself." Mito suggested. "They only require Arcangus energy to run but our generators are still struggling just to maintain life support and basic defences."

"I'll do it!" Naruto nodded. "Just hold down the fort until I'm finished okay?"

"Before you go…" Sephie glanced at Mito who made a 'go ahead' gesture. "Allow me bestow upon you the blessing of a High Priestess (in training)."

Naruto bowed his head as Sephie started to speak, her voice echoing powerfully as if bolstered by the very presences she worshipped.

"Honoured Seven, please grant this champion your protection," Sephie clasped her hands together before pulling a small pouch out of the armour she was wearing. Opening it she stuck her finger in and withdrew it, a faint silvery powder covering her index finger.

"May Raphael-sama see fit to bestow you with her gift of charity: Lending you our strength," Sephie took Naruto's hand and drew a circle in the centre of his palm. "May Urella-sama grant you her gift of Temperance: Allowing you to rationally deal with the horrors you will face." Sephie continued to draw on Naruto's out stretched palm. "May Josephina-sama bestow on you her sight: Allowing you to see the path to victory. May Chamla-sama bestow on you her gift of Nurture: Allowing you to grow ever stronger in the service of the light. May Zael-sama grant you the gift of Compassion: Allowing you to never lose yourself in the horrors of battle. May Gabriella-sama grant you the gift of Purity: Protecting you from the darkness of the Damus and may she who rules the seven, Michaela-sama grant you her gift of Protection: Shielding you from the attacks of the enemy." Sephie finished her brief prayer and stepped backwards, leaving a glowing symbol of a circle with six wings on his palm. "May the Arcangus guide you," The future high priestess slumped and had to be supported by Mito.

"Sephie?" Naruto stepped forwards.

"Apologies Seraphii-sama… I appear to have over done it a little." She smiled weakly as she regained her balance. "I hope you find my blessing satisfactory."

Naruto merely nodded as the future high priestess stepped backwards and pulled a small knife from her armour, which she used to cut a small locket of her own hair, earning gasps from those around her as she tied the hairs into a small knot that she presented to Naruto.

"What is this for?" Naruto blinked as she held out the small bundle of hair.

"A symbol of my admiration and a physical reminder of your promise to return to me, a lock of hair is a powerful good luck charm when given to one who is dear." Sephie smiled. "Would you accept it?"

"Of course."Naruto took the charm and tucked into the vambrace he was wearing, oblivious to the stunned reactions of all those present.

"Now then," Mito clapped her hands together, a soft smile gracing her face. "Let us proceed to the torpedo bay. I imagine Seraphii-sama is eager to vanquish our enemies as quickly as possible."

"What was this about a torpedo bay?" Naruto felt a shiver down his spine. "You're not going to fire me at the Decadence, are you? Hey?"

Mito merely smiled in response.

The Decadence, Hanger #13

Yokubo walked slowly as she looked around at the gathered devilukians, a look of disinterest clearly present on her scarred face as she beheld the pitiful creatures hobbling around her. Everyone of them had already been corrupted beyond recognition, both mentally and physically. Such was the effect of spending so much time in her presence. It was a cruel fate, a punishment for their loyalty. Sometimes the small part of her that was still Yokubo, the first princess of Deviluke, would beg for their deaths so that their suffering would end. Unfortunately, this aspect of the eldest princess spent very little time in control.

Her current dominant psyche was a corrupted, twisted being formed of both her desires and Asmodea's cruel designs. The warped abominations surrounding her were nothing more than playthings to her fragmented mind and she paid them no heed as they bowed their heads and lumbered towards one of the many troop transports that filled the hangar.

Unlike the tidy professionalism that was on display in a Charmain ship, this vessel looked in ill repair, with half scavenged ships scattered around the floor. The few craft in good repair were positioned randomly and given the deformed, insane nature of their pilots, it would be a surprise if they even managed to get outside of the hangar bays.

Glancing at her prey, the Asmodea-warped princess licked her lips eagerly. The small cruiser that held the High Priestess and her replacement was trying to reinitialise the main engines in a desperate attempt to maintain its distance and give the short-range weaponry that were still functioning enough room to shoot down the transports she was sending at them en masse. The casualties were probably obscenely high, but she didn't care. There were always more devilukians available and if it got her the figurehead of the Arcangus as a new toy to play with, she was more than happy to let the mindless minions pave a path of corpses to her prey.

She let her thoughts wander for a while and came to think of the strange one who taunted her. It was a devilkin, but at the same time wasn't. It clearly held a lesser fragment of Asmodea and had so far resisted the shards attempt to corrupt him. She felt a kind of pity for the youth. In time he would slowly be warped and all that would be left was a cruel, empty existence making others feel the same misery that dominated his every waking moment.

And that was if the mistress of Misery didn't get her hands on him. Yokubo didn't know enough to challenge her claims to Damus-hood. All she knew is that no force alive could stand against her and that was enough. The self-proclaimed goddess and her idiot assistant seemed to appear from nowhere before fading back into the shadows. Even if she triggered the self-destruct, Yokubo couldn't guarantee that she would be able to kill Misery, she didn't even know if it was possible.

There was a sudden explosion as a stray blast from the Charmian cruiser managed to penetrate the hangar and destroy one of the few troop carriers that was in almost perfect condition. The resulting debris accounted for several more casualties as the molten metal and highly explosive fuel reserves collided with a series of lesser explosions that seemed to go on for several minutes.

Yokubo was largely unaffected by the scenes of destruction before her, or by the next missile striking the far wall with a loud clang before bouncing back and rolling across the floor, stopping a few feet in front of her. It let out a soft hiss and suddenly ejected a small disk, barely a foot in diameter.

The strange disk landed flat on the floor before suddenly emitting a faint blue glow, attracting the attention of some of the remaining Devilukians who approached it as if entranced by its ethereal beauty, only to be annihilated when it erupted in a column of pure Arcangus energy. When the blinding light finally faded away there was a dazed looking Naruto surrounded by the wounded devilkin who had been fortunate enough to survive the initial blast of energy and the ashes of those less fortunate. He staggered forwards, looking a little pale but quickly came to his senses as he noticed the blank faced princess looking at him.

"Well that was unpleasant." Naruto shook himself before turning his attention to the princess before him. "So… You're Yokubo huh?"

"And you are the one they referred to as 'Seraphii-sama' if I am not mistaken," Yokubo drew a small smoking pipe from the tattered dress she wore and put it to her scarred lips, puffing out a small cloud of orange smoke. "Have you come to experience Asmodea's gifts?" She blew a smoke ring at Naruto who swatted it aside.

"I am only going to ask you this once," Naruto scowled, "Release your hold on the High Priestess's ship and leave this system."

"Oh? And why should I?" The twisted princess inhaled her pipe. "It appears to me that I have the advantage in this situation."

"Care to re-assess that?" Naruto smirked as he called upon his purple aura, the sudden explosion of energy caused several of the devilukians who had been struggling back to their feet to suddenly fly backwards. Yokubo herself merely raised an eyebrow in interest before extinguishing her pipe on her arm, registering no discomfort as her skin burned and cracked.

"Rejoice that I was the one who found you." Yokubo cast aside the pipe, which was quickly collected by one of the many twisted abominations running around the hangar bay. "There would be naught, but an eternity of suffering and despair should Misery find you. I shall grant you death… eventually."

"Misery?" Naruto frowned. "Who's that?"

"The Damus of Misery, the Guardian Goddess of the Devilukian Empire. You have caught her attention, poor creature of hope." Gid's big sister smiled as she clasped her hands together. "I was Yokubo Asmodea Deviluke… And mine is the seal of Asmodea."

There was a sudden explosion of red energy which caused Naruto to skid back a couple of feet. When the energy faded, Yokubo had transformed. She stood a good eight feet tall and wore a tattered and frayed kimono. Barbed wire floated around her wrists and neck and her scarred and tortured flesh had turned black, her hands and feet now cruel claws so dark they seemed to suck in all light near them.

"Step forth oh champion of the Arcangus." The transformed Yokubo beckoned him mockingly, "Let us show you the power of Asmodea-Prime."

'Asmodea-Prime?' Naruto mentally asked his resident spirits for their input.

'Remember how I said that Damus spirits fragment so they can occupy multiple vessels? The Prime fragment is the original one before any fragmenting. She is the closest you will get to meeting the real Asmodea.' There was a hint of reverence to Asmodea's tone.

"Scared? We can hardly blame you," Yokubo-Prime let out a cackle.

Naruto merely scowled as summoned a small sphere of the unstable purple energy, which he hurled at the transformed demon princess.

"How pathetic," She taunted as she leaned her head slightly to the left, causing the orb to go past her, however the instant it was behind her the orb suddenly expanded until a perfect copy of Naruto was stood behind Yokubo. The clone launched itself at Yokubo who let out a tired sigh before summoning a crystalline red spear that launched itself at the clone with an idle wave of her hand. The spear tore through the clone, which then proceeded to disperse in a poof, engulfing Yokubo in a faint smoke screen.

With a wave of her hand, a sudden gust scattered the smoke screen revealing six more Naruto clones all cracking their knuckles with sinister grins. One of the Naruto's, the original Yokubo assumed, was cloaked in the purple aura and had broken away from combat.

"If you seek to release the Charmian vessel from my grasps, you'll have to kill me." She lectured the fleeing Naruto. "But first I will deal with these distractions." Another idle hand gesture and twenty small spears appeared all around her, floating ominously. "Bring him back to me." She ordered some of the misshapen Devilukians, who set off after the fleeing Naruto.

"Like you'll hit us with the same attack!" One of the clones taunted.

"Interesting. It appears you have personalities. How curious… I wonder if you can be corrupted too?" Yokubo-Prime ran her tongue over her scarred lips.

"Eat this!" One of the clones charged her but was quickly skewered and dispelled by one of the floating spears.

"Damn it," The clones scowled. "She didn't even move a muscle!"

"My Corruption spears are semi-intelligent. If they sense a threat to my being, they will deal with it. Well when I say threat, I mean something that thinks it can hurt me as opposed to actually being able to harm me." Yokubo sat down on a burning piece of wreckage, apparently unfazed by the heat of the debris. The spears were floating around her, each one pointing in the direction of the clones.

As if on some telepathic signal, the five remaining clones all charged at Yokubo. In response the spears suddenly locked on to the clones before launching themselves faster than the eye could track but the clones had been expecting the assault and quickly scattered. The spears struck the hangar floor, penetrating the thick metal as if it were paper.

Unfazed by the damage the spears could have caused, the five clones launched themselves at the princess who was forced to stand to defend herself. She blocked a clumsy roundhouse kick from one clone, grabbing his leg tightly and slamming him into another clone that was sneaking up behind her. The two vanished with a singular poof and she turned her attention to the three remaining clones, summoning more spears that seemed hesitant to defend her, as if they were unwilling to risk hitting their master and the constant scurrying of the three clones made them hard to pin down.

"Nuisances!" Yokubo snatched one of the clones out of the air, crushing its neck and revelling in the shocked expression as the clone exploded.

Aware that they were the last two clones, the remaining Naruto's glanced at each other before looking back at the largely unfazed Princess before nodding to each other and charging, each forming a small sphere of the unstable purple energy that rotating wildly.

Yokubo merely smirked as two spears struck the clones, dispelling them in a thick poof of smoke.

"Well that was…"

"Chaos Rasengan!" Naruto roared as he charged out of the smoke, a small hole in his chest rapidly closing thanks to his aura accelerated regeneration. There was a hint of red in his eyes and his iris had gone slitted, a clear sign that he was under the effects of a Berserker rage.

"What?" Yokubo was taken by surprise when pieces of debris suddenly turned into more Naruto clones, grabbing her and holding her in place as the enraged Naruto bore down on her. There was a horrid screeching as the Rasengan eat into her flesh. "This is irritating."

"Yari no Nise Kotei! (A/N: Spear of the False Emperor)" The Rasengan suddenly collapsed in on itself before exploding outwards in a lance of blinding purple energy resulting in Yokubo having a soccer ball sized hole where her stomach was supposed to be.

"I felt that." There was a hint of anger in Yokubo's voice as her flesh knitted itself back together.

"You'll be feeling a lot more before I'm done with you!" Naruto leapt backwards to avoid the sudden barrage of crimson spears that suddenly rained down on Yokubo's position. The clones that had been holding her in place were ripped apart without mercy. He flinched as the memories of the clones was fed back it him. "Shoten: Manta no Nise Kotei! (Ascension: Cloak of the False Emperor)" The unstable purple aura surrounding Naruto seemed to shrink inwards whilst growing more brilliant in its glow.

"Allow me to repay you for reminding me that I am alive." Yokubo pointed angrily at Naruto and the spears resumed their barrage, although a grinning Naruto deflected them with a blade of purple energy.

"You know… it's rare I have a fight where I can really let loose." Naruto cracked his knuckles. "Fighting on Earth means I can't go wild as I could destroy my home but out here in space on an enemy vessel, there's no reason to limit myself."

"Idle boasting will only serve to make your defeat all the more satisfying."

"We'll see about that." Naruto clapped his hands and summoned a six more clones before taking a deep breath. "I haven't used this attack for a while. Huh, kind of funny that I used it on my last time travel adventure. I've been practicing a lot in Lala's danger room and think I can use this without crippling myself now." He held out his arms and started to form a large sphere of energy, his aura flickering as it fed the attack.

"This could hurt me. I suppose I should stop you from achieving whatever it is you are trying to do." Yokubo launched another salvo of spears at Naruto, but his clones acted as human shields, using their bodies and limited energy pool to deflect or destroy as many of the spears as possible.

It was with great satisfaction that Yokubo managed to charge Naruto and grabbed him by the neck, crushing his windpipe but he still maintained the attack.

"I win." Yokubo declared as she grabbed Naruto's arm holding the unstable sphere of energy that was crackling furiously as its charging was interrupted.

"I wouldn't be too sure about that." A voice called from behind her and suddenly several clones all grabbed a hold of Yokubo and she became painfully aware of another Naruto behind her, gathering its power for a final attack. By the looks of things, it had been charging that attack since the fight had started.

'I see…" Yokubo scowled. "I forgot about the you that ran away. So that was a clone as well?"

The clone's aura had all but vanished as he placed a single hand on the back of the orb, pointing towards a scowling Yokubo, who tried to dislodge the Naruto clones holding her with no success. "Akuma no Taihou."

"Take this!" Naruto slammed the partially charged attack into Yokubo's arm, severing it from the rest of her body before swapping places with one of his clones outside of the blast radius of his clone's attack.

If the blast of his earlier Yari no Nise Kotei attack had been blinding, that barely registered in comparison to the overwhelming attack he just launched. The orb exploded outwards and enveloped Yokubo entirely in a purple beam that caused even the most pain-deadened parts of her body to scream out in agony. When it struck the remnants of Naruto's partially charged attack, it triggered a fierce explosion before continuing on its way.

The resulting beam carved a path through the entire ship and when the purple light finally faded there was a molten tunnel that went all the way through the hulking dreadnought to the other side of the ship. There was sudden hiss as the ship created emergency atmospheric fields but not before several devilukians were hurled into the vacuum of space.

Its job done, the clone that launched the attack nodded at Naruto and dispersed, its pitiful remaining energy and the memories of the attack returned to Naruto, who found himself grinning at the look of horror on Yokubo's face the instant the attack landed.

"Damn…" Naruto let out a sigh, "I… I was kind of expecting more. I guess I shouldn't complain, using that ability still leaves me unable to use my aura properly although only for a few minutes rather than the few days it used to be. Still it is my most powerful technique that is (sort of) combat ready."

'Don't knock it.' Asmodea chastised him. 'Fortunately, I'm not a combat Damus. If you were facing off against her brother with Satalin, she would have just used a defensive ability to neutralise the attack… well unless you caught them off guard but Satalin is permanently on guard and only a severely arrogant ego-maniacal idiot would ever drop the almost perfect defence Satalin would offer him/her."

"ARGH!" There was a sudden shriek that seemed to attack Naruto on an auditory and spiritual level. "That… That really hurt…"

"You have to be kidding," Naruto blinked as he saw a severely wounded Yokubo pull herself from the floor. She was missing a leg in addition to the arm Naruto had destroyed and her flesh had been vaporised from parts of her body, revealing muscle and bone.

"Oh, Dark mother of Corruption and Decadence…" Yokubo held out her sole remaining arm, the crest of Asmodea appeared and grew until it surrounded her entire body.

'Oh no. Stop her Naruto! Don't let her finish the incantation!'

"Right!" Naruto charged as he felt his Damus aura start to flicker back to life. Apparently his Arcangus one would require more time to recover. "Akuma Yari!" He launched a blast of blood red energy, striking Yokubo directly but she barely seemed to notice it.

"Lend me your powers to corrupt this world as I please." The crest suddenly shrunk to its normal size, although it seemed to vibrate with barely controlled energy.

'Naruto! There's no time!' Her voice was full of dread, spurring Naruto to summon more power to try and interrupt whatever the Prime Asmodea was planning.

"Shoten X2! Akuma Danmaku." Naruto solidified the Damus aura surrounding him and launched a barrage of energy blasts but again Yokubo seemed not to notice.

"Open the gate: Fallen Eden!" There was a sudden wave of energy that struck Naruto as he braced himself.

"Er… Nothing happened," Naruto looked around. There was a strange red haze in the air and Naruto felt as if he were wading through treacle. The most unsettling thing was how quiet it was. As he looked around at the debris littering the hangar, he realised that the flames had frozen as if time had crawled to a stop. 'Asmodea? What is going on here? Asmodea?!' There was no response.

"This is her Eden." An unfamiliar voice called out from behind Naruto, causing him to freeze. It was a sad, broken voice. Turning around to face this new presence, he saw what could only be described as a young Yokubo. Her skin was not as scarred at the version Naruto had fought and she seemed to have her whole body. There was an apologetic look in her eyes.

"You are Yokubo?" Naruto took up a defensive stance.

"I was." The girl nodded her head. "Until the final fate of all Asmodea bearers befell me. I am a prisoner in my own body, only existing to serve the whims of the Mistress of Decadence."

"A prisoner?" Naruto frowned softly. "Then surely you want to help me win."

"Win?" Yokubo laughed hollowly. "You can't win against a Goddess in its own domain. In this space she controls everything. You can't even die in this realm without her permission." She suddenly froze. "She arrives." The girl seemed to fade away into nothing.

"Welcome creature of hope. I pray you find this world to your liking."

Naruto scowled as he looked at the Prime fragment of Asmodea's soul. She looked like his own fragment's full form although her entire body was warped with a strange black carapace and considerably less human looking. She was at least ten feet tall and seemed to glide through the world.

"I hope you're ready for the ass kicking of your life!" Naruto conjured his aura, or at least he tried to but there was no response from either his Seal of Asmodea or his crest of Raphael. "What the hell?"

"Foolish devilkin, this is my realm." Prime seemed to take a single step yet somehow cleared the ten metres between the two of them in an instant. "It is I who decides what can and can't happen here." She clicked her fingers and there was a sudden cry of pain. Looking behind him, Naruto felt his rage building at the sight of his Asmodea and Raphael crucified behind him. Asmodea was struggling against the barbed wire holding her in place whilst Raphael remained completely still. She probably didn't want to give the Prime fragment the satisfaction of seeing her in pain.

"Let them go!" Naruto threw a punch, although it moved slowly through the air and was lazily snatched out of the air by the Damus fragment who then tore his arm from its socket. "AARGH!"

"So fragile little devilkin." The Prime fragment sighed softly before plunging her hand into Naruto's chest, his body moving to slow to even attempt to defend himself. With a twisted smile, she ripped out his heart, holding the still beating organ in her palm. Without any ceremony, she tossed it over her shoulder. "Don't worry. So long as you remain in my domain you won't die. No matter how much fun I have with you." She patted him on the head as he fell to his knees, like one would a small dog.

"Get away from him." Asmodea struggled against the crucifix.

"Oh? I can understand your frustration. After all you have made quite a few modifications to his body, haven't you? I am almost impressed a lesser fragment of myself was able to create such a fine host for when you completed your corruption and possessed him."

"That… That's not true!" Asmodea argued.

"Do not lie to me fragment. I can tell the modifications were your doing. Or do you mean to tell me that you were making changes to his genetic code for a reason other than making yourself a perfect vessel?"

"It is funny." Raphael's choral voice cut through the exchange, "But I had forgotten how much I despised your old attitude Asmodea. The idea of doing something for anything other than your own twisted pleasures is utterly foreign to you isn't it?"

"I tire of your unwanted and unneeded presence." Prime Asmodea made a dismissive hand gesture at Raphael and the floor turned to liquid, dragging her beneath the surface.

"Raph!" Naruto grit his teeth. "You bastard!"

"How noisy…" Prime grabbed Naruto and lifted him in the air before slamming him into the floor which he sank through.

"Naruto?!" Asmodea pulled against her restraints but to no avail.

"Now then," Prime returned her attention to the other fragment of the Damus of Corruption and Lust. "I have a question, lesser me. Where is your Corruption? Besides your modifications, I can see no attempts on your end to corrupt that devilkin and now that I look at you, you seem to be… missing something."

Asmodea merely scowled back, ignoring the burning pain as the barbed wire holding her to the crucifix started to tighten, biting deeper into her wrists.

The Prime fragment closed her eyes briefly before opening them suddenly with a look of pure disgust on her face. With an idle gesture she summoned what looked like a female Naruto, only with the same black and twisted hands and feet that Naruto's fragment of Asmodea held. The girl tried to struggle but was unable to break free of the Prime's grasp.

"What is this?!" There was clear disgust in Prime's voice. "I… This is your corruption? I… I don't understand. You rejected your own powers? Why?"

"Because Mama loves Papa and I do too!" The Corruption, also known as Asuka, declared as she tried to struggle free.

"I wouldn't say love..." Asmodea protested weakly. "I just sort of enjoy hanging around with him. If I corrupted him them I couldn't do that so yes, I rejected myself and she was born of my rejected powers."

"Truly you are a flawed fragment." Prime sneered. "Why should gods such as us care about the lesser beings? We are infinite, and they are not. Long after they have left this coil we…" Prime suddenly paused as a thought occurred to her. "You… You were trying to make him live longer weren't you?" Prime threw the Corruption aside and advanced on the bound fragment. "How pathetic." She summoned several large spears that looked as if they were made of blood red ice. "I am doing you a favour by absorbing your core. Clearly you have forgotten what you truly are."

"Mama! You have to reabsorb me!" Corruption staggered to her feet. "If you are whole then maybe you can beat her and save Papa!"

"But what about you?" Asmodea glanced at the girl.

"I was born of Mama's love of Papa. That love will bring me back into this world I know it." The Corruption smiled.

"I don't love him already!" Asmodea protested. "But I guess since that idiot has gotten himself banished I'll have to save his sorry ass. Again."

"And you believe you can defeat me?" The Prime fragment laughed.

"Well we don't know until we try." Asmodea closed her eyes as the Corruption started disintegrating into red orbs that merged with the crucified Damus soul.

"I suppose if I am to absorb you, I need you restored anyway," Prime was content to allow the two to fuse.

When she had fully absorbed the corruption, Naruto's Asmodea fragment opened her eyes and broke free from the crucifix by merely clicking her fingers before gently floating to the floor. Where he feet touched the floor rippled as if she were standing on water.

The two almost identical combatants stared at each other without a word, waiting for the other to make the first move.

Asmodea was at a disadvantage in almost all areas. The Prime fragment had more control over this world, more power behind her attacks and a complete memory of her life prior to being forced to possess devilkin. While she wracked her brains trying to think of a way to win, Prime got bored with the staring contest and with an idle gesture, summoned six of the crystalline spears and launched them all at Asmodea, who countered with six slightly thinner spears that shattered like glass but managed to deflect the Prime's attacks.

"I have to wonder…" Prime slowly circled Asmodea, summoning spears and hurling them at her, taking a sick pleasure out of the smaller fragments desperate defence. "What went wrong with you? All other fragments of me do their job. They corrupt. You on the other hand went out of your way to stop yourself corrupting your host.'

"We'll agree to disagree on that. It's just my version of corruption is Naruto getting into a few orgies. Your version of corruption is twisting everyone until they are a twisted mockery of themselves. Come to think of it… You haven't changed at all have you?" Asmodea smirked. "No, you physically can't can you? You are the Prime Fragment, a perfect embodiment of who we were before."

"And? We were perfect before." The Prime fragment remarked.

"We'll see how perfect you are when your bent over my knee begging me for mercy!" Asmodea grinned in an almost Naruto-like way. "Tell you what… If you surrender I might let you watch Naruto ravage me~"

"I would rather die than see a lesser being touch a fragment of myself, even one as pitiful as you."

"That works for me." Asmodea cracked her knuckles.

In Space

"And so baby brother… you lose."

Gid grit his teeth as he struggled to his feet. He was stood on the hull of his brother's flagship, the armour warped by the sheer ferocity of the fighting that had taken place. He shot an angry look at his brother, currently transformed and enveloped in Satalin's fury. The older prince looked as if he was made of molten lava, his eyes and mouth were yellow furnaces amongst the molten rock that surrounded him. In contrast Gid's weak aura was barely able to protect him against the harshness of space.

"Says who?" Gid spat angrily, his words carried across space by his aura.

"Says the Future Emperor, Dameji Satalin Deviluke!" The now-named Dameji laughed, his voice was deep and booming and somehow seemed to echo out in the vacuum of space. Even though Gid knew it was just a side effect of a strong Damus aura, it still unnerved the younger prince considerably. "What have you got that could possibly defeat me? You, a poor seal-less outcast? It is no wonder father ordered your assassination. You are a disgrace to our royal bloodline."

"I have my allies," Gid declared. "Allies who hate our father and all he stands for and will do everything they can to stop his madness!"

"Do you believe the might of the Devilukian Empire can be stopped by a rag-tag group of rebels?" The molten rock armour faded away revealing a handsome prince. He looked much like Gid, although his eyes seemed to burn with an unquenchable rage.

"It happens more often than you might think," Gid smirked, "Besides with the Charmian fleets behind me, that essentially means I'll have space superiority and can just bomb the hell out of my enemies."

"And how do you intend to keep the Charmian's on your side? Politics were never your strong point brother."

"I'm sure I can find someone to marry off to secure an alliance," Gid shrugged.

"It matters little, after all our monstrous sister has crippled your allies and is probably helping herself to the High Priestess and her retinue as we speak. The Lady of Misery was with her."

"Really?" Gid glanced angrily in the direction of the Charmian fleet, "Could they not last even a few moments against Misery. Not going to lie I was hoping they'd have some sort of Anti-Damus weapon that would have beat her. Oh well I guess I'll have to kill her myself later. Seriously though, do I have to do everything myself? Wait… What is that?" He blinked stupidly as he stared in the direction of the Decadence, Yokubo's flagship.

"Are you really so desperate to think I would fall for such an obvious ruse?"

"No seriously, I've never seen anything like it." Gid blinked.

"Give it up little brother. I will never fall for…"

There was a sudden stream of purple energy that struck the Satalin powered prince and ripped through the hull of the ship they were fighting on. The stream of energy seemed to last for a minute before it faded away, leaving only a molten tunnel that travelled through 80% of the ship. There was no sign of his brother.

"Onii-sama. I have arrived." Kurama landed on the hull next to the gaping Gid.

"Wha…" Gid blinked. "Did… Did that Seraphim bastard steal my kill?! I'mma kill him!" He pointed at the now crippled Decadence. "Kill stealing asshole!"

"This was a single attack?" Kurama looked between the gutted Flagship and the Decadence. "And it carried all this way…"

"He's such an asshole! Did I interfere with his fight?"

"You were losing Onii-sama."

"I… I was not! I was just lulling him into a false sense of security!" Gid weakly protested. "But then that Asshole Seraphim went and killed my brother! My brother! I wanted to do that!"

"That Seraphim is strong… You mentioned marriage to form the alliance, Onii-sama?"

"Wait… You heard that? How long have you been here?!" Gid glared angrily as his adopted sister, who merely tilted her head curiously.

"Pretty much from the start of your fight, Onii-sama."

"Then why didn't you help me?!"

"… I didn't want to steal your kill." There was a ghost of a smirk on Kurama's face. "I know how much you'd hate for someone to do that."

"Well… That…" Gid floundered weakly. "It's different when it's you. You're family. Real family."

"I'm adopted." Kurama retorted.

"You know what I mean." Gid grumbled childishly.

"Well if I marry the Seraphim to ensure the alliance, he'd be family as well correct?" Kurama stated bluntly.

"Well yeah but… I wanted to marry a hot Charmian girl! Preferably get myself a bit of a harem or something!" Gid wailed.

"Those who seek a harem are the last person to be trusted with one," Kurama remarked sagely. "Maybe if Onii-sama put more effort into his training and chased less girls he would not have needed rescuing by Seraphim-san."

The two stood in relative silence as Gid sulked, watching his fleet of various shapes and sizes out manoeuvre his brother's.

"I… I will not be defeated so easily!" There was a weak cry from behind the siblings, who turned to see their eldest brother crawling out of the wrecked ship. "I… I will be emperor!" His skin was burnt and his once handsome features scarred beyond recognition. It was clear he was wounded beyond repair and only his sheer rage was keeping him alive.

"Mine!" Gid made to attack his brother but was stopped by Kurama, "Eh?"

"Leave him alone. He is powerless now." It will show how powerful you are if you don't need to kill your enemies."

"W-well when you put it like that." Gid nodded. "I should spare him, so everyone knows how awesome I am. I mean everyone would know he was weak compared to me if I didn't even consider him worth killing and…"

"Oops." Kurama stamped as hard as she could, purple lightning crackling around her as Dameji's head splattered like a ripe pumpkin. "I slipped. How clumsy I am Onii-sama."

"You…You… Kill-stealing ass wipe!" Gid whined. "You should marry that Seraphim! You are both vultures who swoop in to steal all my glory!"

"Just think Onii-sama. Seraphim-san and myself… We are the strongest beings in the universe. Can you imagine how powerful our children would be?"

"I… Actually that is a good point," Gid stroked his chin. "With kids like that my old man wouldn't stand a chance! I approve! Get yourself knocked up by this Seraphim will you. Make sure you have plenty of daughters though."

"Daughters?"

"Well I'll have to marry some of them to keep the power in the family you know?" Gid beamed.

"Onii-chan."

"…Uh oh," Gid slowly turned to face his sister. Her eyes weren't visible but the malicious purple aura surrounding her gave a good indication of her feelings.

"As if I'd let my daughters marry someone weak like you," Kurama growled.

"Wait… That's what you're angry about?!" Gid wailed as his sister trapped him in an armlock and started to choke him. "I give! I give!" He struggled in vain.

"Lord Gid I bring news!" A young, fresh faced devilukian joined them on the hull. "Oh… Am I interrupting? Forgive me. I'll leave you to enjoy yourselves."

"ZASTIN YOU ASS HOLE. SHE'S KILLING ME!"

"Everyone has their fetishes my lord. I will not judge," The young Zastin bowed and retreated.

"THAT'S IT JERK OFF! YOU ARE DEMOTED FROM ONE OF MY COMMANDERS TO ONE OF MY SERVANTS! I'LL… IF I EVER HAVE KIDS YOU WILL BE THEIR NANNY! YOU HERE ME ZASTIN! A GLORIFIED NANNY!"

Gid's yells fell upon deaf ears.

The Realm of Fallen Eden

Asmodea panted as she glared at her opponent, who seemed mostly unaffected by the fighting so far. The problem the smaller fragment had was that everything she could do, the Prime fragment could do better.

"This is getting tiresome," Prime made a show of yawning. "Just surrender and be absorbed already."

"Why don't you just give up and die?" Asmodea narrowed her eyes as she formulated a plan. It was a long shot but if it worked… she'd have to reward Naruto later to thank him for the idea. Launching a barrage of spears, she whipped up a smokescreen.

"How droll. You do realise I can sense where you are?" Prime launched several spears at where she sensed Asmodea to be, rolling her eyes as the lesser fragment burst from the smoke screen and lunged at her. With a slight lean, she dodged the clumsy blow and turned to face the panting Asmodea before her. "How pointless…" She advanced on Asmodea, who tried to raise the crystalline spear she was holding, only for the Prime fragment to grab and shatter it before thrusting her hand into Asmodea's stomach. "It's been a while since I absorbed a control core. Let's hope I can find it quickly. I'm told it is a rather painful experience."

"Fuck… you…" Asmodea looked up at her Prime counterpart and grinned.

"Why are you…" She let out a cry of pain and looked down in shock to see a hand thrust through her own stomach, clutching a small pearl that seemed to writhe with crimson energy. The hand withdrew, taking the pearl with it and causing the prime fragment to fall to her knees as the Asmodea before her dispersed in a poof of smoke.

"I'm glad that worked." Asmodea walked in front of the Prime fragment, looking at the core in her hands. "I knew you could sense my power so all I had to do was create a clone with almost all of my power to act as a distraction. Of course, if it didn't work I'd be screwed but if there's one thing I learned from Naruto, it's that sometimes you've just got to do something really stupid and hope that it pays off."

"Wait… I am your Prime fragment! You cannot…" She was cut off as Asmodea started to squeeze the pearl, earning an unsettling cracking noise.

"Amazing to think that this little thing is the 'heart' of us bodiless Damus fragments. So fragile…"

"Okay! Okay… You win." The Prime's haughtiness evaporated like a drop of water on a raging fire. "I… I can help you make your vessel live longer. That's what you'd want isn't it? You could make him immortal like we used to be!"

"That's not possible," Asmodea hesitated slightly.

"The core of Darkness or Judgement. The core that created the Arcangus… There is a weapon's manufacturing trying to build a weapon using it. If you merged it with your vessel then he might become an Arcangus and live longer!"

"I already know about that," Asmodea cut off the Prime fragment. "My vessel would be pissed at me if I ended up preventing Yami from being created."

"You sicken me. You are a Damus! He should bow to your whims!" Prime sneered before freezing as Asmodea dragged a finger down the red gem, cutting a fine sliver away.

"My whims are telling me to shatter your control crystal."

"W-well. There is the core of Light or Genesis if you prefer."

"The second core that was used to create the Great Destroyer… and our People." Asmodea narrowed her eyes.

"Promise you will return my core and I will tell you." Prime narrowed her eyes.

"Fine, I promise I will not kill you. I give you my word as a Damus."

"The Devilukian Emperor has it on Deviluke. He wanted to use it to make a weapon to defeat Misery. He failed but the core is still intact. Now… my crystal."

"Right." There was a curiously blank expression on her face as Asmodea tossed the crystal towards the Prime fragment only for it to suddenly split into two equal halves.

"W-what?!" Prime looked around in shock, her eyes narrowing as she saw a third figure approaching them.

"I promised I wouldn't kill you." Asmodea smirked. "But the instant I took your core I gained complete control over this world and brought a friend."

"I never agreed to anything." Raphael sheathed a sword as she joined her Damus counterpart in watching the prime fragment slowly turn into dust and blow away. The two stood silently before Raphael finally spoke. "I overheard the conversation. I know what you are thinking."

"Oh?"

"Firstly, you are thinking that since you technically control all this space, you can have sex with Naruto. Secondly, you are thinking about using the Genesis core on Naruto. Aren't you? You are aware of Sister Josephinia's prophecy? The creature of Judgement and the creature of Genesis shall bring about the end of all. If the Golden Darkness is a creature of the Judgement core, using the Genesis core on Naruto could bring about the end of everything."

"Actually, I was thinking we both could have sex with Naruto. You're right about the second part though. Why? Are you going to stop me because of some half-baked prophecy?"

"You are whole again, huh?" Raphael let out a sigh, deflecting the question she wasn't sure on the answer to. "I trust you know what this means."

"I can control my powers. It was a moment of weakness when I rejected them. Don't worry, Naruto won't become like the other hosts."

"You say that as if you could corrupt him whilst I am here." There was a soft laugh from Raphael before suddenly she drew and swung her blade, the sharp edge against Asmodea's throat. "But the instant you start to go back to old ways…'

"Yeah, yeah," Asmodea pushed the blade away. "I'm not going to do that. It's hard to be in an orgy with someone who wants to kill you."

"I am not participating in any orgies." Raphael rubbed the bridge of her nose as she sheathed her blade. Suddenly the two women shrunk into their chibi forms. "Oh… It appears this reality is collapsing. We'd better reassemble Naruto before reality reasserts itself."

"So soon?!" Asmodea turned to her angelic counterpart with tears in her eyes. "Maybe their still time to…"

"I don't believe Naruto is a lolicon so your current form is unlikely to appeal to him."

"…You're right. I see what I have to do. I have to make him lust after that cooking girl? Mikan is it? Or maybe the one with the core of Darkness within her."

"Please stop trying to turn Naruto into a criminal."

"NEVER!"

The Decadence, Hangar Bay

"Wah?" Naruto stumbled forwards. "…What the hell? What happened?! Where's Asmodea Prime."

'Good question. I don't know where we Damus go after we get completely owned. High five!' The familiar, silken tones of Asmodea caused all the tension to leave Naruto.

'No.'

'You're gonna leave me hanging? Come on Raph! That's not cool!'

Letting out a relieved chuckle, Naruto looked around the hangar bay. The corrupted devilukians were fighting each other like frenzied beasts. "What is going on?"

"She's gone." A tired voice mumbled from the floor and Naruto span around to see Yokubo laid on the floor, staring at the roof of the hangar. "Asmodea is gone. Without her sweet whispers to guide them, they are all going berserk."

"What do you mean gone?" Naruto walked over to the princess.

"I don't know." She suddenly coughed. "But she is no longer within me. My body is corrupted too much to exist without her powers to sustain it…"

"Then the gravity well holding Sephie's ship…"

"It was Asmodea's power holding it. With her gone the ship can now escape." Yokubo glanced at Naruto. "Say Seraphim… Do you really speak for the Arcangus?"

"Sort of," Naruto nodded.

"Are they as bad as our gods, the Damus?" She whispered.

"To be honest…" Naruto chuckled as he thought about the few Arcangus he had met, "They all suck."

'Hey!'

'You wait until you next enter your mindscape. I'll show you just how much I suck… If you get what I mean.'

'The fact it was you speaking means of course he knows what you mean.'

"I see," Yokubo struggled to her feet, accepting Naruto's outstretched arm. "That… relieves me somewhat. You should go before Misery realises what happened. She hates Asmodea with a passion and now her favourite toy is broken she will want a replacement. Flee." Yokubo pushed Naruto towards the teleporter that had brought him here.

"…I will," Naruto frowned, "But if I leave you hear and this Misery finds out…"

"I have lived a life of torture and torment. A little more before I die is insignificant. Thank you, Seraphim." She walked away from Naruto.

"What for?"

Yokubo turned with a genuine smile. "For the first time in a very long time… I am myself." She watched as Naruto teleported away and the small cruiser started to flee until it was a mere speck amongst the stars. Satisfied that they were out of range, she accessed a computer terminal and started to disable security protocols and non-essential systems, rerouting all the power to a reactor that been badly damaged by Naruto's attack. While she was sure it wouldn't kill the Damus, it would probably hurt her. As if sensing her actions, there was a hole that seemed to form out of nothing and two figures stepped out of it.

"Oh my, oh my~ It looks like Loko-Yoku has failed you mistress! If you must punish her, punish me as well~"

"What is that foul stench that pervades the air?"

Yokubo turned to see the masked idiot and Lady Misery strolling through the hangar. When a berserk creature launched itself at them, the masked figure merely looked at them and it vanished, its form twisting as if it was crumpled up into a single speck of dust.

"Is it hope?" The sobbing mask that Misery wore turned to face the princess. "It is? How disgusting. Clearly I need to re-educate you on the futility of existence."

"Lady Misery, Moron," Yokubo bowed softly to both. "I suspect this will not have any effect on you but for what it's worth, I hope you consider it a token of my hatred for you."

"…What?"

"CATASTROPIC REACTOR FAILURE. EXPLOSION IMMINENT!" A siren blared noisily.

Yokubo smiled peacefully as what was left of the ships core disengaged all safety protocols and erupted in an explosion that ripped apart the ship, disintegrating everything it encountered. As Yokubo felt the blast hit her and her life fade away, she smiled a genuine smile.

She was finally free.

Several Hours Later

Charmian Diplomatic Vessel 'Michaela's Humility'

Naruto stifled a yawn as he laid on the bed. He would have been happy with just a sofa to lie down on for a moment, but Mito had arranged for him to have his own personal room, as befitted one of his standing. The room was large if somewhat empty, only housing a desk and a bed. She had also presented him with a variety of documents explaining everything that he might need to know in the upcoming alliance negotiations, but reading documents were not his idea of a fun time and he found himself unable to concentrate. It didn't help that the documents were all in Charmian, which was apparently based on the Arcangus' own language with some modifications so Raphael was trying her best to translate, but even she was at a loss for small parts.

"This is a pain," Naruto groaned as he laid his head on the desk. "I just want to go back home and see my family. I don't care how a recent drop in crop production lead to a more aggressive Devilukian expansion and taxing."

There was a knock of the door and Naruto found himself trying to guess who it was. Sephie had been visiting him frequently, constantly spilling things or knocking papers over and then offering her body as payment, which Naruto kept politely refusing. Unfortunately (or fortunately depending on your point of view) Sephie was aware of how close Naruto had been to breaking and was biding her time, waiting for another opportunity to strike.

His other frequent visitor was the High Priestess herself. Mito had shown up several times, trying to trick him into revealing something from the future and delivering handwritten messages from members of the ship who wished to personally thank him for saving them. As he glanced at the clock, there was a knock at the door and Naruto tossed aside the document he was reading with a sigh.

"Who is it?" Naruto asked as he walked over to the door.

"It is I, Shinko." The door opened to reveal the third Charmian he had met since going back to the past. She was wearing her uniform as usual, although there was a slight awkwardness about her.

"Oh hi," Naruto raised an eyebrow. "Is something the matter?"

"I was just passing by and figured I should alert you we have agreed on a meeting place and security escorts."

"Oh thanks," Naruto smiled and returned his attention to the documents, or at least he tried to. Shinko stood at the door, awkwardly shuffling but saying nothing. After a few minutes, the chronologically-displaced blonde let out a sigh. "Is there something else?"

"I… I wish to express my deepest regret at holding my blade to your throat." The naval officer bowed her head solemnly.

"Oh that? No harm, no foul," Naruto chuckled.

"And the fact I… molested you," She added awkwardly.

"W-well, you were only trying to protect Mito, right? So, don't worry about it."

"Thank you, Seraphii-sama."

Naruto stared at the wall and sighed. "Is there something else?"

"I… I have a favour to ask of you, if you would honour me."

"Yes?" Naruto glanced at Shinko, to find her staring at the far wall.

"I… I would request your progeny."

"…What?" Naruto blinked.

"I… I wish to carry your child."

"…What?!" Naruto repeated, a little louder.

"Does this displease you Seraphii-sama? I am aware that a lowly servant of the Arcangus asking such a favour from one of their champions is… unusual but have I not served dutifully?!" She stared at Naruto with fire in her eyes.

"Er…" Naruto blinked, "That's all well and good but why do you want to have my child? I mean we've only just met and unlike Sephie, you seem a lot more logical."

"Yes… They say that's the reason I was passed over for the role of High Priestess and it was given to Sephie-kouhai despite her… wishy washy attitude that makes her unsuitable for such a role." The Charmian clenched her fists. "Unlike her I am focused and devout, but it is believed I am too… devilukian for the role."

"I wouldn't go that far," Naruto chuckled.

"Seraphii-sama, you are kind to say but…" Shinko turned around and lifted the back of her military jacket and the shirt beneath it, revealing a deep scar just above her posterior. It was a painful looking scar and it cut deep into her flesh.

"Who did that to you?" Naruto found himself shocked.

"I did," She allowed her coat to fall and turned to face Naruto, "I… I am half devilukian. My father was a Charmian priest who was captured by devilukians. He was… not treated well and when he was finally saved there was nothing left of the priest he once was. He was broken and empty. The woman who birthed me left me with him. Cast me aside like trash. I was fortunate that my devilukian heritage did not take control as it has in almost all other cases, but to the Charmians I am nothing more than a devilukian in a Charmian body."

"You cut off your own tail?!" Naruto shivered at the thought.

"It was the only way to stop them seeing my devilukian half, the only way they would stop glaring at me with disgust. I swore I would prove to them I am not devilukian. I am a Charmian through and through. The Holy Seven are my light and my life. I devoted my life to becoming the High Priestess so that they would see me and know I was of worth! Despite my efforts thought I am just a military officer, distrusted by all but the High Priestess herself."

"Oh," Naruto replied weakly, not sure how to respond.

"In Ecclesiarchy's eyes I am nothing more than a warmongering Devilukian in a Charmian form… But that's where you could change things." Shinko looked at Naruto fiercely.

"Pardon?" Naruto blinked.

"If… If I were to give birth to the child of a Seraphii… They would see. They would understand!" Shinko's voice raised in pitch. "I… I wouldn't be the half demon monster… I would be a vessel of divinity! Then… Then they would have to see me for me and give me the position I am due. Who would be better to be High Priestess than one who was fertilised by an agent of the heavens! I've worked so hard to clear this stigma and the fates have provided me with this chance to finally be free! Please Seraphii-sama… Honour this one request!" She kneeled before him.

"I… I'm sorry," Naruto lowered his head. "I cannot do that."

"But why?!" Shinko's head jerked up and she clenched her fists. "Is it because of my heritage?"

"No, I mean I can't really say much in that department," Naruto chuckled as he wagged his devilukian tail, "It's complicated. I… I am limited in what I can do whilst I am here." Naruto tried to choose his words carefully. "For what it's worth I don't doubt your dedication and I am sure if you keep at it, you will get the recognition you deserve." He offered as a consolation.

"I… I see…" Shinko stood up. "I… I apologise for disturbing you. I suppose… I must achieve my dreams by my own hands. Thank you for your guidance honoured one."

"Er…" Naruto watched her go awkwardly. "Wait!"

"Yes?"

Naruto used his aura to cut a lock of his hair, which he tied into a small knot and held out to the confused Charmian.

"My lord?" She glanced at the offering. "I… I don't understand…"

"While I cannot give you a child, I can at least give you a good luck charm. Sometimes in life we don't get what we want but so long as we keep walking forwards we can face the future with a smile. "

"…Thank you," She smiled softly as she took the offered hair and left, a soft smile gracing her face.

'Let me say this. You are the worst motivational speaker I have seen in a while.'

'What was I supposed to say? By the way I'm from the future and I know you don't get the job.'

'You could have just had sex with her. She'd have been happy, I'd have been happy, you'd probably get all whiny about cheating but would secretly be happy.'

'This might surprise you, but sex doesn't solve all your problems.'

'Well maybe if you were better at it, it would.'

'I've had no complaints.'

'But would any of the girls genuinely tell you if they had any? Or would they just pretend they enjoy to avoid hurting your feelings?'

'I… But… But they climax!'

'Ever heard of faking it?' Asmodea smirked. 'You need to have sex with someone not romantically interested in you who gains nothing from lying to you. Say that Shinko woman or even me, if you can get that strange orb thing from the High Priestess again. Just saying I'm ready when you are.'

Before Naruto could reply there was a loud siren that seemed to cause his teeth to rattle.

"What the hell is going on?!" Naruto leapt to his feet.

"Would all representatives prepare to welcome the Devilukian ambassadors." A calming voice seemed to call from every direction at once and a small blue orb appeared before Naruto. "Please follow the guidance beacon to reach your destination."

"Er…" Naruto walked after the glowing blue light. "Well, let's see how this plays out."

'I hope it ends with Sephie, Mito and Shinko organising a four-way with you.'

'I doubt that.'

'Hey a Damus can hope.'

By the time he arrived at the meeting area, all the representatives had gathered in the room. As expected of a Charmian vessel, there was plenty of pale blue and many fancy decorations including sculptured busts of famous Charmians as well as pictures depicting the Arcangus and their various triumphs. In the centre of the room were two tables with the ambassadors sat facing each other.

The Charmian table had Mito in the middle, with Sephie on her left and Shinko on her right. The three Charmian women were clearly nervous, as where their security detail, not that Naruto could blame them. It was a well-known fact that a Charmian would struggle greatly to overcome a Devilukian in close combat. Add to the fact the level of skill expected of the Devilukians present and their unease was perfectly understandable.

The devilukian table has Gid in the middle, with a clearly disinterested Fuu (Or as she was currently known Choumei) and Kurama sat at either side of him. Kurama kept shooting Naruto strange looks when she noticed his gaze so instead Naruto decided to pay attention to the Charmian table, only to receive a blush from Sephie and, somewhat confusingly, a blush and embarrassed smile from Shinko. If Mito noticed this, she didn't give any indication.

There was an awkward silence until Gid cleared his throat.

"Right then," Gid stood up. "Let's get this alliance thing over with. You all know who I am but apparently you Charmians love your protocols, so I'll introduce myself. Gid Deviluke, currently seal-less and Twelfth in line… oh wait I guess I'm tenth in line to the Devilukian Throne now. My aides are my sister Kurama Abados Deviluke and this gremlin is called Choumei." Gid sat back down, clearly annoyed at having to play by the Charmian's rules. "Oh, and my bodyguard is called Zastin and he is an asshole."

"M-My lord," the young Zastin flinched.

"We welcome you, Prince Gid." Mito stood up. "I am High Priestess Mito, leader of the Charmian Ecclesiarchy. With me are my two disciples Sephie and Shinko. My bodyguard is Seraphim-sama." She nodded to Naruto before returning to her seat.

"And he's a kill stealing ass hole," Gid mumbled before wincing as Kurama hit him.

"Behave yourself Onii-sama," Kurama whispered.

"Listen, I'm not going to mince words," Gid stood up again. "My old man is powerful. Even if the Charmian Navy does assist me, it's going to be rough but when we win, our alliance will account for over 80% of the Galaxy. You Charmians love your peace and I'm sure I can think up a way to keep the unrulier members of my people entertained without us being at war."

"With all due respect, the Charmian territories are perfectly safe. Your civil war does not affect my people and us joining your war will only serve to bring misery and death to my people." Mito spoke sternly.

"Misery is right," Gid sighed. "Look… My old man is not the true ruler of Deviluke. That honour belongs to a Damus who refers to herself as the Mistress of Misery."

There was a sudden commotion as the Charmians muttered amongst themselves.

"That's not possible," Shinko shook her head. "The Damus and Arcangus all left this plane many eras ago. For one to still exist and be undetected is preposterous."

"Believe what you will," Gid shrugged.

"Yokubo mentioned this Misery," Naruto interjected. "She genuinely seemed to think she was a Damus."

"The old ones were capable of creating and destroying at a whim, if one truly still lives then what hope would we have to fight one?" Sephie muttered to herself.

"We could send the Seraphim?" Gid gestured at Naruto lazily. "I mean he is the closest thing we've got to an Arcangus."

"No!" Shinko and Sephie cried out in unison before glancing at each other and calming down.

"Seraphim-sama has only a limited time before his summoning ends," Mito lied expertly. "We cannot rely on him to defeat her."

"Well, we'll come up with something later," Gid waved a hand lazily. "The important thing is our alliance."

"If we decide to agree to one," Mito interrupted Gid.

"Yeah, yeah," Gid nodded. "We'll need a marriage to solidify our alliance. As Emperor I am prepared to take on as many Charmian concubines as the alliance requires me to."

"That won't happen." Mito smiled with her mouth only.

"Then I marry the Seraphim," Kurama remarked bluntly.

"W-what?!" Shinko and Sephie responded in unison.

"Er… I don't think that's a good idea. Like Mito-sama said, I won't be around for long."

"I see," Kurama nodded. "We'd best start breeding immediately." She stood up and started to remove her clothes. "Where is the nearest bed?"

"I OBJECT!" Shinko slammed her palms on the table whilst Sephie looked as if she couldn't believe what was happening. "That is not required!"

"You are correct of course," Kurama tossed her jacket on the floor. "If time is of the essence I'll have to make do with the floor."

Naruto opened his mouth to object when suddenly he felt as if something behind him had shifted and the entire mood of the room changed. He found himself staring at the table, unable to move or look at whatever it was that was walking up behind him. His every instinct was telling him that he was completely at the mercy of this mysterious figure.

The bemused expression on Mito's face turned into a pale look of horror. Sephie was snapped out of her trance but had tears in her eyes, her whole body shaking in fright. Even Shinko appeared unable to form words. The Devilukian table was faring slightly better, Gid and Kurama looking more furious than terrified.

"Are you the source of that foul smell?" A cloaked figure stepped before Naruto. The black cloak it was wearing disguised all of its body and only a mask that reminded Naruto of the masks you usually saw in a pair, one happy the other sad. It was as if the masks had been cut in half and put back together only the left-hand side of her mask had a smile; the right-hand side had a sad face. Both eyes had a trail down the mask, as if someone had tried painting a constant flow of tears. Behind the mask was nothing but a soul crushing darkness.

"Misery…" Gid grit his teeth.

'This is the Damus they were talking about? She doesn't look familiar to me,'Asmodea's voice was full of concern.

"Silence Devilkin." Her words struck Gid with a physical force than knocked him over. "So, you are forming a little rebellion against me. How delightful. The planets that will be destroyed, the countless souls that will die in agony and the misery of the survivors… It will be such a pleasant feast! I shall allow your little rebellion… But not you…" She turned to face Naruto. "You reek of hope. Do you truly believe this rebellion will work? That the seal-less devilkin will win?"

"I know it." Naruto smirked. 'After all it has already happened.'

"So much hope and confidence…"

"Mistress~ I have arrived! Wait are you going to punish them all? No fair punish me too!" A second figure, this one wearing a mask with an orange swirl pattern entered Naruto's vision.

"Tell me you dim-witted masochist. How do I punish someone who is so certain that they will win in the end?"

"Prove them wrong mistress? Send them forwards in time so they can see your victory."

"What a good idea. How surprising. I suppose even a broken clock is right twice a day." Misery glanced at the moron before reaching into her robes and pulling out a familiar device.

'That's Lala's time machine! Wait she did say that it was old Damus tech so that means somehow she gets a hold of that.'

"I'll send you to the ends of time~ You'll see how everyone you loved failed and the eternal suffering I put them through. And when all that hope of yours crumbles and leaves naught but despair… yes that will be the finest meal. Oh the anticipation of such a feast~" As if responding to her wishes, the time machine hummed and created a whirling vortex behind Naruto.

"Akuma Yari!" Naruto launched a blast at the time machine, knocking it out of Misery's hand.

"Sorry… Was that supposed to do something?"

Naruto summoned his purple aura and launched himself at the Damus, who merely yawned as she took the punch from Naruto.

"Really this is just annoying," Misery sighed as Naruto leapt backwards and launched a blitz of energy attacks, only for Misery to be perfectly unharmed after the smoke cleared. "Even now you are so certain of your eventual victory though. Truly when you are forced to face your failure… when all your pride is robbed and you are presented with your own weakness. Oh just thinking about the delightful taste of your misery is making me salivate. Be sure to believe that you can win to the very end. It will make your resulting collapse all the more refreshing~" Almost lazily, she gestured at Naruto and he was hurled backwards, unable to make even a token resistance against the force that suddenly struck him, flinging him through the portal that crackled shut behind him.

"Seraphim-sama!" Sephie cried out at the empty space where he had been stood.

"Yes…" Misery cradled Sephie's chin and lifted her face to stare at the mask. "So much misery… You will be a feast worth savouring…" Releasing Sephie, Misery had a stroke of genius. "If you want him back… I'll even leave you the artefact."

"R-really?" Sephie's eyes widened, there was a brief flicker of hope and…

SMASH!

The Damus brought her heel down on the time machine, breaking it.

"W-why?!" Sephie asked.

"Your misery is my nourishment." She whispered softly, stroking the future highness' tear stained cheek before teleporting away without a trace.

"Wait for me mistress~" Her servant vanished too a moment later.

There was a silence that filled the meeting room that was only broken by a vow.

"We will meet again Seraphim-sama and when we do… I will present that bitch's head to you." Sephie declared angrily.

"…Is it wrong that I find that declaration really hot?" Gid asked before being struck so hard he faceplanted on the table.

"Read the mood Onii-sama." Kurama remarked softly as she shook her aching hand.

?

There was so much darkness, Naruto felt like he had been tumbling through space for an age and a half. He found himself praying for the endless tumbling to end, when he heard an unfamiliar voice.

"Space time distortion located! Bringing the target in!" A soft but clear voice sounded from all around Naruto.

"Let's hope it isn't another blue telephone box sis." A much more energetic voice declared, somewhat muffled as if speaking with a mouth full of food.

"Here we go!" The first voice announced and suddenly Naruto lurched to a stop and hit something soft. His eyes were assaulted with bright light so he shut them quickly, laying still as he tried to work out what had just happened.

"Did it work?" There was a muffled voice that sounded as if the speaker had their mouth full. It had an energetic, excitable quality to it that reassured Naruto. "Sis? Sis?! Did it work?"

"I… I think so…" The second voice was much softer and calmer. It had more than a hint of worry in it.

"Where…" Naruto opened his mouth to speak but started to choke.

"Please! Stay still," The softer voice called out and Naruto felt himself being pushed back down onto his back. He appeared to be laid on a bed, judging by the soft sensation but his eyes didn't appear to be working. "I… I have some questions for you. Feel free to take your time in answering."

"Where am I?" Naruto asked. "Wait is Sephie alright? I have to get back and help them!"

"I am afraid I can't answer that just yet." The soft voice tried to sound soothing. "Sephie-san is fine and everything will play out as it should. You did well."

"You're in my sis's lab! She's like so super smart!" The energetic voice was clearly proud. "Even Mama says my sister is smarter than her and she's like a mad genius!"

"Nee-san!" There was a clearly embarrassed tone in the other voice.

"What? It's true!" The last bit was muffled, as if spoken through a mouthful of food.

"Lab," Naruto reached for his face as he opened his eyes, trying blink away the blurriness from his vision. "What… What happened?! The last thing I remember I was tossed through a time portal by an angry God… Am I at the very end of Time?!"

"For clarification's sake, which angry God was it?" The softer voice asked.

"…What kind of a question is that?!" Naruto paused.

"Considering you pick fights with God-like beings regularly, kind of one that needed to be asked." The energetic voice declared cheerfully.

"I don't pick fights with Gods!" Naruto protested.

"Oh, so this was your first time? That probably means it was Misery, right? The 'damus' of the Devilukian Empire."

"How do you know that?"

"Oh Papa! I know everything about you and your fighting!" The cheerful voice declared proudly.

"Adon-chan!"

"Oops. We were supposed to make sure Papa didn't learn anything that could jeopardise the future, weren't we?"

"Wait a minute," Naruto finally regained his sight and looked around himself. He appeared to be in a pure white room, very reminiscent of Lala's lab. Stood before him was a thin, young woman wearing a lab coat. She had long blonde hair that fell to her shoulders and had bright pink eyes that were looking at him cheerfully from behind thin rimmed glasses. She was peering shyly over what looked like a clipboard with a holographic display in a language Naruto didn't recognise.

Next to her was a taller, slightly more built up woman with short pink haired and piercing blue eyes. She was wearing a baggy, orange tracksuit and holding what appeared to be a bucket of fried chicken which she was periodically eating from.

"Megal? Adon?! How far in the future am I?!" Naruto blinked at the sight of his daughters, now clearly adults.

"You recognise us?" Megal, the blond-haired twin, blushed softly. "Even twenty years in the future Papa recognises us." She hugged the clipboard to her chest.

"Of course, Papa would recognise you!" Adon declared proudly before taking a bite of a chicken leg, bone and all and swallowing it with no small look of happiness. "No one could ever imitate your awesomeness sis!"

"Twenty years…" Naruto blinked. "That's… wow…"

"B-But don't worry Papa!" Megal grasped his hand. "I've just got to go and get the time machine Mama left in a sealed location and then I can send you back to your time. You have to hurry and calm down Yui-mama."

"Leave it to us Papa!" Adon tossed aside the empty bucket of chicken. "Sis'll have you back in your own time before you even know it!"

"I'm glad to see you both grew up to be such dependable girls." Naruto ruffled the hair of the taller girls who blushed and grinned widely before setting off to get the time machine.

Left alone, Naruto took in the lab. It certainly looked hi-tech but when you looked closely it was clear there were two parts to the lab. One half was full of scientific equipment and books, various sketches and designs littered the desks. Looking closely there were a few picture frames that seemed to change the displayed picture. Each one showed Megal at various stages of her life, winning various awards. There was one that looked like a graduation picture, with Adon stood proudly beside her and Sephie and someone else stood with them.

It took Naruto several moments to realise it was not actually Sephie and in fact Lala and himself that were in the photo.

"Man, I age well," Naruto nodded approvingly as he glanced at the other pictures. "Wait does Lala have a twin sister? Is that Sephie?!" He rubbed his eyes. "Oh, that must cause me trouble in the future. And this must be Momo… But why is she wearing the High Priestess outfit? Probably some kinky cosplay knowing her." He let out a chuckle. "Man, I can't wait to get back home and see everyone one again."

'Given the severe case of blue balls you must be suffering, I wouldn't be surprised if you ended up creating most of your children when we get back~'

"Sisters! Lady Yuuki says its time for lunch! Tardiness is a sign of delinquency and would tarnish our Honourable Father's legacy so present yourselves immediately." A haughty voice declared, and a new girl entered the lab, looking around curiously until her violet eyes locked onto Naruto. She had long black hair and was wearing some sort of military uniform, an officer's if Naruto were to hazard a guess, that seemed to be a size too small for her generous assets. There was a devilukian tail wrapped around her waist acting as a belt. Based on her appearance, Naruto guessed she was around sixteen if not older. "Oh, she didn't!" She rubbed her forehead angrily. "I shall have to have words with Megal-Neesama. I told her to ignore Yaya-san's requests."

"You called?" Another figure walked in, this one was wearing a long baggy shirt almost like a dress, its anhydrous appearance making it hard to guess the gender although its soft pink hair was styled in a way that was reminiscent of the older of the twin princesses, Nana. "Oh? Did Megal-nee make me that father clone I asked for? I figured their 'Papa' obsession meant they'd never agree to it. He's a bit young though." The new arrival looked at Naruto with a lazy expression.

"I can't believe that Onee-sama actually made a clone to model for your… books." There was a clear look of disgust on the purple eyed girl's face.

"You don't like my books?" The anhydrous youth tilted their head.

"They are such a flagrant breach of ethics! I mean… two men doing those sorts of things together…" She mumbled. "Holding hands and hugging… How disgraceful!"

"So, you have read them." Yaya's lazy expression schooled itself into something looking like a smile.

"Only because you left one lying around! It is my duty to ensure that the moral fibre of this family is preserved!" Yuella waved her hands, a clear blush on her face. "You may be beyond redemption, but I can still protect the others! Our Honourable Father must remain unsullied by such base corruption."

"Yuella-nee, you do realise that our old man has more wives then there are days in the week, right? I mean how many brothers and sisters do we have? Plus how many of your mothers are pregnant now? That means Papa must be constantly having sex, so I'd say worrying about hand holding is a little bit late."

"Father isn't like that!" The now named Yuella grasped Naruto arm and started to leave the lab, dragging Naruto with her.

"Then how were all our siblings born?"

"They were all made in a lab like Yomi-kun! Our Honourable Father would never do something as… disgraceful as biologically reproducing!"

"You mean sex?" Yaya smirked.

"Stop trying to corrupt me with your filthy language!" Yuella glared at the lazily smirking Yaya before holding Naruto against her chest and covering his ears. "To protect this clone from your corrupting influence I shall take him to my room until we decide how to deal with him. I will not let you do whatever you had planned Yaya-kun."

'Say Raphael, remind me to be a better father. I clearly screwed up somewhere.' Naruto mentally sighed.

'If you ask me I think everything is perfect right now~' Asmodea's silken tones radiated approval.

'No one did.' Raphael deadpanned, an interesting feat for a being whose voice always sounded like a choir of children.

"All I was going to do was have him pose for a few sketches. I can't get Papa to wear some of the outfits I'd like him to model so I figured a clone would work just as well. What did you think I was going to do with him?"

"I… well…" Yuella went bright red. "I thought you'd have him do things like in your books."

"Yuella-chan, clone or not, his is my father. I'm not like you girls." Yaya tilted his head. "I don't get excited seeing the old man in his swimming shorts."

"W-what's that supposed to mean?!" Yuella cried out in alarm.

"Well it's all 'Honourable Father' or 'Papa' or 'Daddy'…" Yaya trailed off. "Plus, you'd think there was some sort of fever going around every time we got for a family holiday to the Paradise planet and the old guy goes swimming."

"Those are perfectly normal terms of endearment for talking to your male parent!" The violet eyed girl yelled, her tail flailing wildly as if reflected her emotional state.

"So, you don't have any plans for that clone of father?" Yaya leaned against a counter.

"I have nothing planned!" Yuella declared.

"Hey Yuella… You're crushing your 'Honourable Father' in your breasts. Are you trying to seduce him? How bold of you."

"What…" Yuella suddenly went crimson and released Naruto. "It's not… I…" She waved her arms furiously.

"Papa we found it!" Adon declared proudly as she entered the room, a bar of chocolate in her arms as Megal followed her, the familiar shape of Lala's time machine in her hands.

"Oh Yuella-chan?" Megal paused. "I thought I had locked the lab? How'd you get in here?"

"Your password is Father's birthday, his favourite food, the date and time of your alleged conception and the number of wives he has. It isn't hard to crack." Yuella scowled. "Besides I am here to make sure that you… Wait did Adon-neesama call the clone Papa?"

"Alleged?" Adon tilted her head after taking a bit out of the bar of chocolate.

"Clone?" Megal blinked. "I didn't make any clones. I told you I was searching through space and time for Papa like Mama requested."

There was an awkward silence as Yuella, turned to face Naruto. "…Honourable Father?"

"I'm guessing your Yui's daughter?" Naruto rubbed the back of his head. "I'm glad to see my children are all so healthy and energetic… although I am a bit concerned about your… reverence for me."

"You think this is bad wait until the whole family is together." Yaya snorted. "Most of your daughters are like this. Fortunately, your sons all turn out okay…. Well besides from Boruto but one out of twenty hating you isn't too bad."

"No!" Megal quickly stood between them. "You cannot learn anything about the future it could drastically change it and lead to something terrible happening!" She shoved the time machine into Naruto's hands.

The door to the lab opened and a beautiful woman stepped in. She had unruly brown hair and soft brown eyes and was wearing comfortable looking clothes, baggy jogging bottoms and a loose-fitting vest top. Although her body was much more developed than in the past, Naruto recognised those eyes and the mischievous smirk. "I thought I told you two to fetch your sisters?" She directed this at Yaya and Yuella before noticing Naruto. "Oh… So its that time is it?"

"Mikan?!" Naruto blinked stupidly. "Is that you?"

"STOP SEEING FUTURE THINGS!" Megal wailed as she put a blind fold on Naruto. "Aunty Mikan! You can't let Papa see anything that might change the future."

"Alright," Mikan's voice was full of mirth, "I won't tell him about the two sons we have."

"Wait what?!" Naruto exclaimed. 'I have children with Mikan?!'

'Well I can't exactly blame you. Future Mikan is hot. Hey since she's had your kids I guess that makes her a milf right?' Asmodea was clearly amused by this development. 'Hey ask her how old she was when you got her pregnant. I want to know if you are a criminal or not."

'Is future me a sex craved deviant?! The way they are talking makes it seem like I have far too many children!"

'And by the sounds of if more than a few of your daughters like you a little too much. Clearly my corruption tactics pay off in the future! Wait, ask them if I get to have sex with you. It's really important!'

"Aunty Mikan!" Megal's voice made it seem like she was on the verge of tears. "Don't you realise you could change the future!"

"Right!" Adon joined in. "For example, he might take a path that results in Yomi-kun not being born! That would be terrible right! Yami-san would be upset if that never happened!"

"Adon!" His oldest daughter sounded like she was definitely crying now.

"Sorry Nee-sama! I got carried away! Please don't hate me!" Maybe it was because they were twins or because Adon seem to worship her sister, but Adon sounded like she too was going to start crying.

"Yomi?" Naruto repeated as the time machine was put into his hands. "Yami?!" '…I think I should look into getting vasectomy.' He mentally deadpanned.

"Sorry about this Papa!" Adon and Megal placed their hands on the time machine, a blue energy seeping out of Megal and a red energy seeping out of Adon. There was a sudden groan and the two leapt backwards as the time machine activated with a crackle of lightning leaving only a smouldering patch where Naruto had been sat.

If he knew the trouble that awaited him on the other side, he would have probably asked to be sent for another round against Misery.
