Murder: Dawn's Diary

For the next six months I would learn little bits about what happened. When I learned who they thought the killer was, I was shocked.
I was lying down in my bed staring at the ceiling. I heard Reggie come into my room and sighed. He had been staying with me since Dawn had died. I knew he was worried about me and he wanted to make sure that I wouldn't kill myself.
"Paul, there's an officer here. He wants to talk to you on who he thinks Dawn's killer is." Reggie said.
I nodded as I got up. I got dressed and was about to walk out of my room but Reggie stopped me.
"Let me see your arms" He said. I sighed and showed him my arms. Both arms were covered with cuts both six months old and a few hours new. "We'll talk about this later" He said.
When I walked into the room, the officer said "We have a suspect now"
"Who do you think it is?" I asked.
"Read these two entries in Dawn's diary. One is dated the day before she was killed and one is dated the day she was killed." He said as he handed me two pieces of paper.
Dear Diary,
Paul's been gone for five days now. I miss him so much. Once he gets home I'm going to tell
him that I love him. I can't wait! Anyway mom wants me to go to her house for dinner so I need to
go and get ready.

Dear Diary,
I told my mom that I love Paul and she wasn't happy. She told I could find someone better than
Paul. I don't get it, mom has never had a problem with Paul before. She's coming over later so I
can ask her what's wrong with me being in love with Paul. Oh speaking up Paul, he's coming home tomorrow. I can't wait!

I started crying and Reggie hugged me.
I never knew Dawn loved me. And Johanna, she disappeared a few days later. Police believe she's on the run and I believe it too.
I've been busy for the past few days so I haven't been able to update. I'll try to update a couple of times today but don't expect it.
