Riven sighed. Memories were consuming him again.

He was in the middle of recalling his and Inaya's first camping trip.

'So wait, what,' Flora laughed as they sat in the Four Leafed Shell Cafe again. 'You did what?'

He smiled at her enthusiasm. 'We were, what, six or seven then so we did what we could. We had a mud fight. She found a mud swamp and tricked me into following her to it. By the time Dad and her parents called us back, we were literally drenched in gunge.' He laughed; that was one of the more... pleasant memories of them both.

'How... how did you clean up?' Flora asked, smiling.

'We had a change of clothes which we were put into. We brought along four packets of wet wipes which we finished when the adults cleaned us up. But it was fun, you know?' Flora nodded.

It was fun. Everything he did with Inaya had a brighter air to it. Everything they did together was full of adventure.

Adventure. Something there was a lack of in this stage of his life.
