The Star Warrior

Atop a small hill just outside of Fuyuki city, a small fellow sat and watched the skies above. His eyes were entranced by the orbs of light that surrounded the darkness of the night. They were so alien to the watcher as he kicked his small legs back and forth in amazement.

He was surprised to be bought to this new world but apart of him held the feeling that he had been there before. Once in a dream before he left it behind. The fact that he couldn't put a hand on it, bought a sad feeling to his little heart. How was he meant to feel? Upset that he couldn't remember anything if he had indeed been there before?

A slight feeling of power caused him to blink. Like the dream that had faded it felt familiar. It felt noble but at the same time... Lonely and sad. He wasn't sure how to put it to words but he had to see it. He wanted to see it with his own blue eyes.

With a call of "Poyo", a star flew across the night sky heading right for him. With a light jump, the fellow landed on the golden star as he raced towards that feeling. His little mind told him to see it, to make sure whoever it was, was all right and not lonely again.

Shirou watched with baited breath as Saber and Lancer stood in front of each other, their eyes never leaving their opponent as they prepared their weapons. He wasn't sure what was going on, he was attacked by the man in blue and now a woman appeared in front of him. His mind raced as he tried to make heads or tails of the situation.

As Saber charged forward, a star in the night sky seemed to shift and turn as if it was being controlled. With a sudden tilt, the celestial body hurtled towards the unaware Servants. "Saber!" Shirou called out as the woman froze in her charge. Lancer smirked as he prepared to run the woman through with his spear.

Before he took another step forward, the star crash-landed at his position, sending the man flying into the heavens above. "Ahhhhhhh!" He screamed until he could no longer be seen.

"Are you alright, Master?" Saber asked her confused ward as he stared at the crash site. As the dust and smoke soon settled, Saber raised her blade again. "Tell me who are you?" She ordered as a figure popped out of the crater.

"Hi!" It called out. The creature was a small pink creature that was perfectly round with large blue eyes. Its feet were of a light red color that had no toes and were oval in shape. The creature smiled wide as it stared at Saber who took several steps back.

"Berserker?" She questioned as the creature bounced forward with a spring in its step. The new Servant blinked before shaking its head.

"Rider!" It called out before rushing forward and grabbing the knight's leg. "Saber!" It called out again as it nuzzled her grieves, an expression of delight forming on its small face.

The knight let out a sigh before patting the creature on the head. "Regardless of your title, it is good to see you again Kirby." A light cry came from the puffball as he continued his hug. "Master, I would like you to meet Servant Rider, one of the purest creatures I have ever met." The Servant said as Rider looked at the red head in confusion.

Jumping off the woman's foot, the pink blob made his way to Shirou. "Shirou?" He questioned before holding out a stumpy arm. "Kirby! Poyo!" He exclaimed with a large smile on his face.

"Nice to meet you, Kirby. My name is Shirou Emiya." He said with a soft smile as he shook the hand. "Uh, Saber what's going on?" The boy asked as the woman shook her head. "How do you know each other?"

"It's a long story Master." The woman said before her stomach rumbled. "And one better spoken of over some food, wouldn't you agree Rider?" The little creature stopped his handshake before nodding as he looked at the boy with an innocent look on his face.

"Poyo!" He called out as he performed a small dance in happiness, one that would go down in legend as the 'Kirby Dance'.

"Shirou! Your new friend ate all of my food!" Taiga yelled as she stared at the pink Rider as he joyfully ate the rice place in front of him without a care in the world. The boy sighed at his pseudo-older sister's tantrum. It had taken awhile but she was fine with Saber staying with him, then she found out about Kirby.

The teacher had immediately fallen for his cuteness and had all but taken him in as her own. The only problem was the Servant's never ending stomach.

While Taiga was bad and Saber was even worse, the second food appeared on the table, the pink creature would devour it within seconds thus causing even more arguments.

"I'll make some more!" The boy shouted from the kitchen as Saber began her third helping.

Her fellow Servant confused the blonde swordswoman once again. For some unknown reason, he mostly remembered her and decided to stay with her. While it was great to see a familiar face -and one who was extremely kind at that- it also scared her.

She refused to harm the Servant again, she had done so once and the tears he had shed still tugged at her heart. But she also couldn't allow him to win the Grail, if he even wanted it to begun with.

Knowing the small Servant, he more then likely didn't even know what it was which was a blessing in disguise. But his Master might and with a strong force like Rider on their side, that would be a problem.

Yet Rider didn't mention a word about his Master. Last time as a Berserker, he tried to make that crippled man smile which ended up as a sad failure. Did Rider remember him as well and didn't want a new Master or did he just want to spend time with her and ignore his new one?

"No, Kirby this omelet is mine!" Taiga yelled as she kept the puffball at bay, his little arms unable to grab the plate. He made a small sound as he tried again to grab it. Yet a look of sadness never crossed his eyes from what Saber could see, it was if he was playing with the older woman.

The same look was in the teacher's eyes as she played keep away with the child like marshmallow. Their smile seemed to be growing until Taiga gasped in pain, dropping the plate with the omelet on it. She grabbed her hand as Saber's eyes widened in horror as three red marks appeared on her left hand in the shape of three stars.

Seeing the look of pain on the older woman's face, Kirby rushed over and hugged her throwing them both to the ground with his surprising amount of power. The pain seemed to vanish from the older woman's mind as the two began to play wrestle with each other for the last omelet.

"Shirou, we have a new problem." Saber muttered as the pair seemed to ignore the consequences of the Servant's decision.

"All right Kirby, listen up! It's time to learn the Fujimura fighting style!" Taiga declared as the two walked into a dojo. The two were dressed in training keikogi with the Servants being designed specifically for him. "Welcome to the Tiger Dojo!" The small Servant bounced up and down at his Master's statement, excited to start training.

"Now to begin-"

"Hmm, so this is where you were hiding, Berserker. Or should I call you Rider now?" Gilgamesh asked as he appeared within the middle of the dojo. With a wave of his hand, a wooden sword slammed into Taiga's forehead knocking her out.

"Taiga?" Kirby whispered as he poked her before jumping back as a blade rushed towards him. The Servant frowned as he looked at the one who hurt his Master. The golden visage of his opponent being almost familiar to the puffball.

"You don't remember me, do you mongrel? And yet I remember you. The one who ate a portion of my treasury and the greatest cake ever made. You may have escaped last time but know you will pay for stealing from the king!" Gilgamesh declared as he opened his golden gate behind him, his treasures loaded and ready to fire at any time.

"Bulk Star!" Kirby called out as he grabbed Taiga. From the roof, a large object smashed through it leaving a large hole that allowed sunlight to drift in. What could only be described as an orange six-sided star fused with a enormous engine landed nearby the two allowing the Servant to place his unconscious Master upon the ride before he paused.

Thinking quickly, he joined Taiga upon the machine as he gave it a light tap causing it to fly forward avoiding the incoming projectiles. A light frown formed on Kirby's face as he drifted around the arena, just barely Gilgamesh's attacks. Turning around, Kirby opened his mouth and breathed in creating a small tornado. With no pressure, Taiga flew into his mouth before he swallowed her. She reappeared with a small star as Kirby had changed.

On top of his head was a set of brown hair styled into a ponytail but that was not the end of his transformation. Instead of the plain shinai he had before, a tiger charm hung under the guard generating a sense of bloodlust that filled the room.

Gilgamesh frowned as Kirby leapt off his machine as it ran out of power. As the blades soared towards Rider, the sword seemed to move on its own as the weapons were swatted out of the air. Taking a step back, the enemy of the Star Warrior moved away as the blob moved in closer, not at all happy with the one who hurt his new friend and as she called herself, his sister.

With a single slash, a large gash sliced through the man's armor as blood spilled out in droves. With rage planted on his face, Gilgamesh vanished, his screams disappearing along with the Tora-Shinai and the hair on Kirby's head.

Turning back to the Turbo Star and the knocked out teacher, Kirby rushed over to see if she was ok. As he jumped back onto his vehicle, he looked worriedly at his Master, before falling off as he heard her snore.

Letting out a small giggle, the puffball jumped back onto the machine before snuggling next to Taiga, a small green nightcap popping onto his head as he joined her into the land of sleep.

A world one might call Dream Land.

-END-

Rider Kirby. This was something I had planned from the get go but always a little afraid to do it. I know there wasn't much of a fight but... Sometimes I don't really want to fight. Sometimes you just want a nice moment between characters and I hope that showed here.

Now this was asked by some people, ultima-owner wanted Kirby as a Berserker (which I can see but I wanted something differently) while guisniperman wanted him as a Rider. It's amusing for as I was writing this, allcreation103 wanted him as well when I was halfway through it. How amusing.

Anyway, note time. The Turbo Star appeared because I wanted a bulky Air Ride and one I liked at that (The again I loved Air Ride... Hehe). Originally, Kirby was going to meet with Ilya and Berserker and form a bond with them and then they would have beaten up Gil. Taiga just took over and I'm happy about the result. Oh and Kirby picking her as his Master? I have no idea how he appeared with out a Master in the first place, might explain why he slightly remembers Saber and Gilgamesh in the first place.

I know the Tora-Shinai has no revealed powers but it has been said to be powerful if you believe Taiga and the creators. Just seemed like a good idea to me, given Kirby's copy power. Anyway, that should be it. All questions and requests, don't hesitate to send them in. Thanks for reading and please review.

Rider's favorite and preferred vehicle. This star is said to be powered by Rider's life and can be recreated if destroyed by his wishes. Rider has a tendency to lose control of the star and will crash it by accident leaving a large explosion in its wake. This may be due to it going at the speed of light according to rumors.
