I OWN NOTHING RELATED TO GILMORE GIRLS!

I have never seen Logan as happy as he was on Christmas morning, sitting on the floor with Lena opening and putting batteries in things that needed them, breaking Barbie's out of the plastic wrappers and putting together a new book case that we got her for her own expanding collection that was taking too much space on my own bookcase,

"Logan, do you need help?" I offered as I made hot chocolate for Lena,

"No, I think I almost got this." Logan was holding the instruction manual in front of him, muttering to himself, "Maybe Colin and Finn could help."

"Logan, its upside down."

"That makes more sense!"

"Should we just call someone?" I offered, and Lena scooted onto her stool by the counter,

"Can we clean off Goldy's new decoration?" Lena asked me holding up a castle that we got for Goldy,

"We have two more presents to give you first," I smiled at her and Logan snuck away down the hall,

"Close your eyes sweetheart." I smiled and covered her eyes for her and Logan wheeled in a pink a purple bike with a white wicker basket secured to the front complete with a horn,

"Open them," Logan grinned, Lena opened her eyes and I moved my hands and she let out a high pitched squeal,

"I got a big girl bike!" she clapped and ran over to Logan, "Thank you Daddy!"

"Its from me and Mommy," he smiled, she ran over and hugged me too,

"Thank you Mommy," she smiled, "Does it still have training wheels?"

"Of course baby," Logan smiled and Lena clapped her hands, "And this is a present from Colin and Finn."

"A helmet with pigtails!" she clapped her hands as she placed the black helmet with plastic pink pigtails on her head, "Can I wear it Mommy?"

"You sure can, and we can practice with the bicycle in the hall ways later. Its not for inside the apartment okay?"

"Okay Mommy," she clapped her hands together and went and clipped her new story in her leap frog and sat on the couch with her helmet on her head,

"And now for Mommy's present." Logan smiled and handed me a black velvet box with a red ribbon around it,

"Logan," I sighed, "What you and Lena got me was enough." I smiled, pointing to my external hard drive, new travel mug with a picture of Lena on it and a framed picture of the 3 of us,

"Nope, its Christmas I get to be ridiculous." He smiled at me, I slipped the ribbon off an opened it up to a silver locket,, I gasped softly and looked up and Logan who had a nervous smile on his face, I slipped the chain off and opened the oval locket with a diamond in the center, inside was a picture of Lena on one side,

"Do you like it?" he asked, I glanced up at him through my tear filled eyes,

"This is…Logan… of course I like it. It's perfect." I smiled, "Help me put it on." I insisted handing it to him and pulling my long hair out of the way so he could secure it around my neck, it hung just below my collar bone I fingered the locket and smiled up at him,

"Thank you." I smiled and kissed him, wrapping my fingers in his hair before releasing him, "Its perfect."

"You said that already," he smiled, resting his forehead against mine and looking down at me,

"Lets get breakfast going," he smiled,

"I can handle breakfast," I smiled, and let go of his hand,

"Oh really,"

"I make mean blueberry pancakes,"

"And chocolate chip ones for birthday!" Lena chipped in from the couch

"Do I get chocolate chip pancakes for my birthday then?"

"Sure, for your birthday." I smiled,

"Technically its Jesus's birthday."

"No Daddy its Christmas. Santa Day." Lena insisted from the couch,

"I'm not even going to argue with that." He shrugged and came to help me with the pancakes,

"You really like to necklace Ace?"

"I love it, its short a picture though."

"What do you mean?" he asked, looking frantic,

"It has two spots, I want your picture." I smiled at him and his grin grew across his face and handed me a small envelope,

"In case you wanted a picture." He smiled and I took out a small cut out of Logan's face, I opened my locket and pressed the picture into place,

"Thank you Logan,"

"Merry Christmas Ace," he smiled

"Merry Christmas Logan," I smiled and kissed him tenderly, as much as I could with our daughter in the room. We spent the rest of the day in our pajamas, we see Lorelai on the day after Christmas. Normally that would be me and my mom going boxing day shopping while Lena spends the day at the diner with Luke or with Jess and his girlfriend but since my mom got pregnant we decided not high impact shopping for her and we were going to have dinner with; Jess, his girlfriend, Luke, and Mom. Luckily Grandma and Grandpa decided to go to a spa in Santa Barbara since Grandma got her cast out she wanted to 'rejuvenate' her body or so Grandpa said, I still hadn't spoken to Grandma since our incident but Logan was certainly surprised about the trust fund,

"A trust fund? Ace I thought we didn't want all that!"

"I'm sure as hell not going to turn my Grandpa away its already set up and my Grandma doesn't know about it."

"That's healthy."

"Oh shush, it already has $100 000in it! And on her birthdays Grandpa will put another $50 000 in it and each year an additional $100 000 will be put in it every year. It won't interfere with the bank account we already have set up for her, that will be the account you put money into as well. This trust fund is for when she turns 25 and she can get her own place, a new Goldy. Its just to make sure she is well taken care of."

"We can already take care of her." He insisted,

"And Grandpa is taking care of her future just in case. Logan, it's a good thing that he's doing."

"You want this?"

"Yes I do," I smiled,

"Then fine, we'll leave it." He sighed in defeat,"But if it gives them any ideas about making her a debutant or cotillions the deal is off and they can keep their money."

"That sounds fair." I smiled and kissed him, curling up in his arms to go to bed. This was the same day that Logan officially moved into my apartment, our room was now a collection of video games, cook books, story binders, photo albums, and outside in the apartment a still beheaded Henry stood in the living room. Logan argued to keep a tarp over him until he could get his head back from Finn because Lena saw it and screamed. I was looking so forward to New Years, we weren't going to any big party, no huge event just me and Logan were spending the night in our apartment drinking sparkling apple juice, Lena insisted that she wanted to go to Aunt Honour's and Uncle Josh's for New Year's Eve. I wasn't sure about letting her go I didn't want her staying up late and this would be the first time I spent New Year's Eve without her but upon Honour and Logan's insistence that she would be fine I conceded and agreed. I had never seen Lena be so excited about being a 'big girl' and spending the night again at Honour's, I didn't know what Logan and I were going to do because I always had planned the night around Lena's being there.
