Hi everyone. Sorry this is late. I've been trying to think of what to have happen with Sora and Kairi's groups, and I decided on this. If you like it please review. Reviews help me to know what works and what doesn't, and helps me to improve the story.

Chapter 36: Never say Neverland

Maleficent, Xemnas, and Ansem were watching Clair, Stella, Ashley, and Xilph brawl with one another. The three of them were impressed with the powers each of them were now exhibiting. Pete, he was looking at the teens with fear in his eyes.

"Thunderstorm!" Clair shouted as she conjured up a cloud that fired purple bolts of lightning at the others. Stella and Ashley did some back flips and evaded the lightning. Stella flicked her wrists, which became covered with green flames. A circle of thorns appeared around her that blocked further bolts.

Ashley summoned her keyblade. She ran at Xilph, who called forth his own keyblade. The two of them clashed their weapons together. Ashley forced Xilph back, but he swung a kick while she wasn't looking. The motion sent Ashley falling backwards.

Clair conjured up a ball of dark fire and threw it at the thorns Stella had created. The other girl leapt over the flames and came at her former friend like a wild animal. She knocked Clair's keyblade to the side and threw the girl to the ground.

"Enough." Maleficent said. The four of them ceased their attacks and stood at attention. "Your training has progressed in ways I did not foresee. Your darkness is growing stronger every day. But now is the time for you to prove your evil!"

Xemnas turned to Xilph and Clair. "Demyx and Shadow have not reported back from where they were sent. Go to that world and find out why."

The two kids nodded and vanished into corridors of darkness.

"You two will accompany Pete to make sure he does his job right." Ansem told Ashley and Stella.

"What? Now see here!" Pete started to say. All it took was a cold look from Ansem to silence him.

The madman continued, "We need to establish contact with an old acquaintance of Maleficent's. See that he accepts the invitation to join our cause."

"We shall not fail." The two girls said together before they vanished into corridors of darkness.

"Humph! Sending schoolgirls for me to hold on to. I've never been more insulted." Pete said.

Xemnas turned to the cat. "You have failed more times than you can count. We're making sure that you do not fail us again."

"Oh come on! I got ya that one girl didn't I?"

"Enough!" Maleficent said. "This is not open for debate. There is another reason we send those girls with you. To make sure those thorns stay in their hearts."

Things were peaceful right now on Neverland. Sure Captain Hook was still making trouble, but he hadn't for a while now. Peter Pan and the Lost Boys were entertaining themselves with their weekly treasure hunts. Of course that didn't interest Tinker Bell so she was just flying around the island.

As she was passing by Hangman's Tree she saw a bright light. She ducked behind a branch. When she peeked out the pixie couldn't believe her eyes. It was Sora, Donald, Goofy, and that girl Kairi. But who were the others?

"Welcome to Neverland." Goofy said to the others.

Kairi looked around. "This place is amazing."

"Peter Pan wouldn't stop talking about this place." Sora said. "I'm glad I'm finally getting to see it."

A yellow dog that was with them started sniffing around. Ever since that incident in London neither Tinker Bell nor Peter had been fond of dogs.

"What is it Pluto?" Kairi asked. The dog only stopped at a pile of bushes and started barking.

"I think Pluto's found something." The other girl said.

That was for Peter to find. There's no way that she was going to let some dog ruin his fun! She flew down and kicked the dog on the nose. The dog yelped in surprise. When it had recovered Pluto looked at Tinker Bell. Then he started growling. Now things would get interesting.

"Hey back off!" Sora said as he grabbed Pluto's collar. He then noticed the fairy. "Hey Tinker Bell! How've you been?"

Tinker Bell smiled and tried to explain. Of course Sora couldn't understand a word she was saying.

"What is that?" The girl asked.

Donald looked at her. "That's Tinker Bell, Nettie." So the girl's name was Nettie. Great.

"Tinker Bell?"

"She's a fairy that lives here."

Kairi looked at her. "Tinker Bell, Sora's told me about you, but you're more beautiful than I imagined."

Okay, maybe this girl wasn't so bad.

"Hey Tink!" A voice called out. Tinker Bell was relieved. He finally came back. "Sora! Donald! Goofy! You're back!"

Sora waved. "Hey Peter Pan."

Peter Pan flew down. "You've sure changed from when I last saw you. And Kairi's back too."

Oh no. He'd better not.

Nettie, right now, was blown out her mind. Here was a guy with pointed ears and a green outfit who was actually flying! And the fairy, Tinker Bell…well, Nettie had never seen anything like her.

"Me and the Lost Boys are having some fun right now." Peter Pan said. "Why don't you join us?"

"What are you doing right now?" Goofy asked.

Peter pulled something out of a bush. "We're on a scavenger hunt. A bunch of cool stuff's been hidden around the island."

"I remember Tidus and Wakka loved doing those." Kairi said.

Pluto was busy sniffing around again. Nettie smiled. "Looks like Pluto's interested in joining in."

"Then it's settled." Sora said.

Tinker Bell flew up and started saying something to Peter Pan. "What, Tink? It's not like girls can't be fun."

Tinker Bell shook her head and flew off.

"She doesn't seem to like us much." Kairi said.

Peter waved a hand dismissively. "Oh, Tink's like that. She'll come around."

They found the Lost Boys waiting near Mermaid Lagoon. The mermaids weren't there right now. Maybe they were doing something further out at sea.

Nettie could count six boys in animal outfits. The first one, Slightly, was dressed like a fox. The second, a kid called Cubby, was dressed like a bear. Then there was Tibbs, a tall boy dressed like a rabbit or hare. The twins, Nettie never caught their names, were both dressed like raccoons. The smallest was Toodles. He was dressed like a skunk and didn't say a word. Nettie wondered if he was mute or something.

"Alright men," Peter said as he landed, "We've got some friends joining us for our little adventure."

The Lost Boys all ran up and hugged Sora, Donald, and Goofy. "It's so good to see you guys again." Cubby said.

"We sure missed ya," Goofy said.

Slightly nodded. "We've been keeping busy with treasure hunts, and the occasional Heartless or two, but thanks to Pan we haven't had to worry a lot."

"So is Hook still causing trouble?" Donald asked.

"Not as much these days. He's always off looking for some treasure with his lackeys." Peter said.

Donald looked up. "Did you say treasure?"

"Yeah. Doubloons and other useless stuff like that."

Nettie looked at him. What kind of a person thinks treasure like that is worthless?

"Well, if he causes trouble, we'll help you." Kairi said.

Peter flew up. "I can handle that old codfish with one hand tied behind my back."

"Can we get on with the scavenger hunt?" Slightly asked.

Pluto had gone on ahead and was sniffing the ground. He then started barking excitedly. Everyone rushed over as he started digging. When he stopped they saw some sort of tiny bag.

"What could be in this?" Tibbs asked.

Kairi took it. "It looks like it could belong to Tinker Bell."

"But Tink never owned anything like this." Peter said. "So who left it here, and why?"

"If you don't want it, we'll take it off ya." A familiar voice said. Everyone turned to see Pete, and with him were Ashley and Stella.

"It's too small. I don't see how it could benefit anyone." Ashley said.

Stella held out her keyblade. "But I see a much bigger prize waiting. Let's bring all of them to Hook, and then Maleficent."

Peter Pan pulled out a small knife. "I guess you're some of Hook's new lackeys."

"Hook is our lackey. We're here with orders from Maleficent." Ashley growled.

"Who's Maleficent?" Cubby asked.

Sora looked at him. "An evil witch who's causing problems everywhere. She and Hook used to work together in the past."

"And they're going to work together now." Stella said as she charged with impossible speed. Sora was barely able to block her attack. "Once we bring you to the Jolly Roger. "

"Not going to happen." Peter said as he flew around and poked Stella in the back with his knife.

Stella swung her keyblade around. Peter was barely able to block it. He flew up to get the advantage. Stella snapped her fingers and a vine covered with thorns erupted from the ground. It wrapped itself around Peter's ankle.

"Pan!" The Lost Boys all cried out. They rushed forward to help their leader, but Ashley blasted them all back with a wave of dark energy. The Lost Boys all dropped their wooden weapons.

"Pathetic fighting with toys." Ashley spat.

Nettie summoned her keyblade. "Leave them alone! It's us you want!"

"Not this time." Pete gloated.

Pluto barked and ran to protect his friends. Stella and Ashley both kicked the poor dog. Pluto yelped in pain.

"Leave Pluto alone!" Kairi said as she swung her keyblade. Stella and Ashley both blocked her and knocked her back. Sora, Donald, and Goofy all tried to join in, but Pete punched them back. The three friends cried out in pain as they were knocked back.

"Thunder!" Donald cried out as lightning bolts came down and shocked their three foes. Ashley growled as she pointed her keyblade at Donald.

"Thunderstorm!" She shouted. Bolts of purple lightning came at Donald, shocking the unfortunate duck.

Goofy began spinning around, hitting the three of them with his shield. Stella knocked the shield out of Goofy's hand and with her keyblade hit Goofy hard on the head. Goofy fell over.

"Goofy!" Donald shouted. Yelling in anger, he charged at them. Stella kicked him in the gut before she hit Donald on the head. The duck fell over unconscious.

"Stop!" Kairi yelled at the top of her lungs. She hated seeing her friends get hurt like this. A wave of light erupted from her, and engulfed everyone. As Nettie turned, she saw the bag flying towards her. The contents opened up, sprinkling her with some golden dust. Then she lost consciousness.

"Hey. Wake up. What happened? Where's Peter?" A voice was asking her. Nettie groaned as she opened her eyes. She saw Tinker Bell standing over her. That's strange. She didn't remember the fairy being this big.

"My head…" Nettie said. She then sat up. "Pete! He was here, with Ashley and Stella! There was a fight, and…"

Nettie looked around. There was no sign of the others. Everything seemed larger than she remembered. She heard chitterling. She turned to see…whoa! Mabul was huge now! She could probably ride him now if she wanted to.

Tinker Bell shook her head. "But where are they now?"

"Pete said something about the Jolly Roger, but why is everything so big now?" Nettie asked.

Tinker Bell gasped. "The Jolly Roger? That means Hook has them. I've got to go rescue them. Again." Tinker Bell flew up. "Come on. They'll probably need both of us."

"But how will we get there? I can't fly." Nettie said.

Tinker Bell looked at her. "It really hasn't hit you, has it?"

"What do you mean?"

"Come on." Tinker Bell grabbed Nettie's arm and helped her up. To her surprise Nettie found that she was flying. And it seemed like the golden dust was coming off both of them. What was going on?

Tinker Bell stopped at the edge of Mermaid Lagoon. She pointed to the water. Nettie looked at her reflection. When she saw it she screamed.

"I've turned into a fairy!"
