Chapter 33
A month later...
Chase had been going over to Music Maniacs' every day. He absolutely loved it there.
He had grown very close to Sandy. They were the best of friends.
Sandy was only 20 and had the spirit of a kid. She had also grown close to Chase and was very happy to have him over any time. She had even offered him a job there to help him with his confidence, and even get to know some instruments. Chase had obviously agreed, as long as he didn't have to handle with customers for too long.
To Chase, Sandy was his best friend.
Bree, Adam and Leo didn't know why Chase would go to that music store so often.
It seemed boring to them. All they could do was look around at stupid instruments and listen to cheesy music.
Mr Davenport started dropping off Chase down there almost every day. And Chase would stay there for two or three hours, the least.
They didn't see why Chase was staying over at a store alone without knowing anyone there. Was he avoiding home? Did they do something wrong?
They had to find out, which leads to right now. With Bree, Adam and Leo standing outside Music Maniacs', searching for Chase from outside to window. To say that they were surprised at what they saw was an understatement. They were downright shocked. Chase was wearing a uniform and he was talking to a stranger... confidently!
Unbelievable!
They walked into the store and up to Chase.
Chase was smiling, laughing even. They hadn't heard that laugh in a long time. They tapped him on the shoulder and he turned to look at them still smiling.
When he saw who they were, his smile dropped, he was suddenly nervous.
"Hey, guys. What are you doing here?" he asked rubbing the back of his head.
"We should be asking you that. But to answer your question, we wanted to see where you were sneaking off to all the time and now we know" said Bree still smiling at Chase, pride gleaming in her eyes.
"Yeah, I guess you do. Oh, yeah where are my manners? Guys, this is Sandy. Sandy, these are my siblings, Adam, Bree and Leo" said Chase, now smiling awkwardly.
"It is very nice to meet you. Chase has told me all about you. It's nice to put a face to a name" said Sandy, waving to them.
"I can't say the same. Chase has never told us about you" said Bree looking at Chase with an eyebrow raised.
"Oh, well look at the time we should be going now. It was very nice meeting you Sandy but we have to go. See you at home Chase" said Leo rather quickly while pulling Adam and Bree out of the store.
Leo knew that if he didn't get them out of the store they were going to say something stupid and that might embarrass Chase in some way or embarrass Sandy.
"Hey, why did you do that?!" asked Bree confused and slightly agitated.
"I did that because I knew that either one of you was going to say something stupid or embarrassing and I wanted Chase to let loose and have fun with his new friend. You saw how nervous he got when he saw us."
"Yeah, you're right Leo. Let's go home. I have a lot of homework to do." Said Bree agreeing with what Leo said.

Hey everyone. I just wanted to say that the reason I am not updating so often was the fact that I chose Biology, Chemistry and Physics in the beginning of the year and it was hard to get used to them while still having the normal subjects and parents who just want to show you off to their friends.
Also I had a boyfriend for the past month and he broke up with me, over Facebook without giving me a reason, leaving depressed and wondering why I was ever created.
Again I apologize for not posting as often as I would like to and for just letting out all my emotions in the author's note I just left.
