Chapter 34

Testing

Yami and Yuugi's wedding had been beautiful, complete with everything that Yuugi had wanted. Her mother's demands were met and Yuugi went in a beautiful flowing white gown. Yuki had dressed in a tux that matched his father's and carried the rings on a silk, heart-shaped pillow. Akari dressed in an adorable pink ruffled dress, walking in front of Yuugi as she gently dropped flower petals on either side.

The twins happy, the hard times were done, and now they could just be a family.

Yuugi sighed as she picked up the last box in her apartment, looking around the empty place. "Is something wrong, dear?" Yami's voice cut in, causing her to jump a little. "Sorry, I didn't mean to scare you" he said softly, gently taking the box from her.

"It's fine" she chuckled, placing a hand on her chest to calm her pounding heart. "I was just thinking of all the memories I'll be leaving."

"They never leave you, my love. You simply just move on to make newer, better, happier ones than the ones that you left behind."

Yuugi smiled turning to look at her husband. "Thank you."

"What kind of a husband would I be if I couldn't even make my wife smile?" Yami whispered, placing a tender kiss on her cheek.

"I honestly don't know how to answer that" she giggled, wrapping her arm around his elbow as the two of them made their way out of the apartment and down the steps to the truck that waited below.

"Well, that's that. We're officially moved in" Yuugi said happily, letting out a little yelp when Yami held her up and spun her around.

"And I couldn't be happier" he chuckled, rubbing his nose against hers.

Yuugi snuggled her head into his chest with a sigh "I love you."

"And I, you, my dear wife" Yami whispered, placing his nose in her hair.

It'd been three months since the move, and the newlyweds were still as happy as ever. Yami had begun work on a new series 'The Misadventures of the Sennen Household'. He'd made three new chibi characters as well. A woman with long tri-colored hair-ebony with purple tips and blonde bangs, beautiful amethyst eyes to match. And two children, a boy that looked a lot like Yuki, and a little girl that strongly resembled her brother, but brought out a spunky side just like Akari.

Oddly enough 'The Misadventures of the Sennen Household' became a best seller. Yami even stepped it up a notch and turned it away from a friendly children's book and into an adult story that was inspired by a true story. Adults seemed to love it, and it took off right away, though names and appearances were changed to protect the identity of those involved.

"Hey you guys" Yuugi greeted the whole crew as she and Yami joined them for lunch.

They sat outside of a fancy restraunt, wanting to celebrate finally getting together, and the happy months that had passed. Yamina, Aknamkanon, Ty, Zana, Ryou, Bakura, Joey, Seto, Marik, Malik, Tristan, Serenity, Duke, Mai, and Mai's little baby boy Diesel. The little baby sat fast asleep in his carseat, wore out after a long day with mom.

"Hey Yuugi" Yamina greeted, ceasing her whispering with Zana.

"Hey, there's my favorite son-in-law" Ty chuckled, patting Yami on the back.

"See 'Kura? I told you I was his favorite" Yami teased.

"He only says that to your face" Bakura retorted.

"Where else would he say it if it were meant for me?" The tri-colored haired man asked, a brow raised in confusion.

The albino blinked in thought "Oh bloody hell, I dunno."

The table erupted with laughter at the man's confusion, settling down only once Yuugi gained everyone's attention. "Oh, I didn't get to tell you guys! I took a test today!"

Yami blinked before turning his head to look at her. "A test?"

"Mhm" she hummed happily.

Her husband glanced around the table to see if anyone else knew what she was talking about, but no one had any clue. "What kind of a test, dear?"

"An important one" she announced with a smile.

"Uh... Oh... Kay..?" Again Yami glanced around, recieving only raised brows and shrugged shoulders. "How'd you do on it?"

"I passed it with flying colors."

"Really? What'd you get on it?!" Yami asked, his happiness bubbling for his wife.

Yuugi began to dig around in her purse, finally pulling out a plastic baggie with a stick in it. "Two straight lines" she chirped happily, holding up the pregnancy test that read positive.

Yami's eyes widened for a second before softening as he embraced Yuugi. "You little shit head" he chuckled, laying his head on her shoulder.

The little group began to cheer, earning strange stares from the whole mall. Not that they minded, they'd just recieved news of another little one on the way. No one had seen that coming at all.

Six Months Later

"Yamii~" Yuugi sang as she walked through the door. Her husband was busily working around the house, building on the addition, monitoring the workers' every moves, and ensuring that nothing was broken or left out of the new bedrooms. Yuki's room had been finished a month ago, and Yami had been busily painting it, and putting it to his son's liking. The new baby room, however, was still in the works. Close to being done, but not quite done.

"Yes dear?" Yami chuckled as he embraced her, backing away a little to rub her belly.

"I have pictures! My first clear ultrasound!" She chirped happily.

"Ohh! Lemme see!"

Yuugi chuckled at his excitement, bringing out the first of many pictures. "Okay, here's a head, and shoulders" she said, pointing to the tiny head and shoulders. "And here's a head and shoulders-"

"Whoa! Stop. You just said head and shoulders twice" he said, his once giddy voice now turning to one of mild curiosity.

"Mhm" Yuugi hummed with a nod of her head, beaming happily with a smile that turned her cheeks red.

"Twins?"

"Mhm." She leaned in a little closer, her voice lowering to a whisper. "This one's a boy" she said, pointing to the one on the left. "And this one's a girl" she finished, skimming her finger over the picture to the little girl that lay by her brother.

Yami's worries melted away at her words, seeing her so excited to have them made it all worth while. He watched her face light up as she continued to talk, enjoying the light pink blush that lit up her some-what round cheeks, the glow that lit up her beautiful face, and the light in her beautiful, round eyes. She truely was a gift to behold, and the fact that it was her giving him this precious gift, made her all the more special in his eyes.

As she rambled Yami leaned over, pressing his lips to her cheek with a smile. Yuugi turned to look at him, blinking in confusion. "You're just very special to me, and I hope you realize just how much I love you."

Yuugi's face lit up with a mother's smile, the smile that only mother's are able to do, getting their feelings across without ever having to whisper a word. "I love you too, Yami" She whispered before pressing her lips to his.

Me: Okay, that is where I was going to stop it, but I decided to give you guys a tiny bit of an epilogue... Only because it's so short... I decided to add it to the end here XD Enjoy!

Epilogue

The babies were born two weeks early, but they came out just fine. The boy was born first, coming out at seven pounds, eight ounces, and eighteen inches long. His eyes were a burning red like that of his father's, his hair was a long, thick black with red hi-lights, and a golden fringe, a few strips of blonde going back through his touseled locks. He was a shade darker than his sister, but still pale at birth, and born screaming because he was very cranky to have to leave the warmth of his mother's womb.

The girl was came out second, her cries even louder than her brother's. She weighed in at six pounds, seven ounces, and sixteen inches long. Her eyes turned out purple with a hint of red swirling in her large irises, her hair being a slightly curly, thick black with maroon hi-lights and a curly golden fringe in the front. She turned out to be a bit paler than her brother even though her skin was also slightly tanned. She seemed to be calmer than her brother, but whined to have attention.

The two of them came in at 6:05 and 6:10 a.m. on June 1st. Atem Kamun and Atellie Yamyra Sennen were greeted into the world by their parents first. After taking them back to the room, they met a whole lot of new people, including a little cousin named Diesel who was now a year and a half old. The newborns still didn't understand a lot, but they knew one thing was for certain: No matter where they went, they'd have lots and lots of love and friends surrounding them.
