Mostly fluff, let me tell you it was really hard to pull back the angst, but you guys need some fluff before I start the sadness again…

Disclaimer: I do not own Harry Potter, Glee or any of its characters.

Kurt was on Cloud nine at the moment. This felt like one of his dreams. He was on top of Harry in his bedroom and they were kissing like there was no tomorrow. They didn't even talk, just pausing to take some breaths to start again. He didn't have any experience kissing, but he knew he was enjoying what they were doing. With what he could feel, he blushed as he realized even Harry was enjoying himself.

Just then, someone let out a very loud fake cough in the vicinity of the doorway. It had to be the only other person in the house, but Kurt couldn't bring himself to be very embarrassed to be caught making out by his own Dad. Burt had a weird smile on his face as he said, "When you're done adjusting your clothes, let's have icy soda."

He then walked away and both the boys cringed when they heard Burt let out a frustrated sound as he walked down the stairs.

Kurt looked up to see Harry staring at him unashamedly. He felt shy suddenly, as he asked, "Why are you looking at me like that?"

Harry smiled widely. "Now that I can do that at all times, I plan to do it. When we spoke on the phone, I used to stare at your display picture when I replied."

Kurt laughed. "I'd find that creepy if I didn't do the same."

He suddenly remembered all the movies he'd seen where the people making out had horrible hair when they were done. He rushed to the mirror, only to realize the directors didn't fake that part. He moaned, "My hair is a mess. It will never go back to its usual state."

Harry stood behind him, murmuring, "But you look so damn sexy like this."

Kurt had a shocked look on his face, which had Harry backtracking, "Was that too much? Did I cross a line? I'm sorry, Kurt."

Kurt blushed, angry that he seemed to be blushing so much. "No, I like it. I just didn't expect you to say that to me."

Harry told, "Well, if I had my way, I'd write poems to your sexiness. In reality, my writing sucks and you would not talk to me anymore because of the cheesiness of what I wrote."

Kurt smiled at him. "I usually hate cheesy sonnets, but somehow on you, I think it'll only look adorable."

They just stared at each other for a long moment, then…

"If you two are still kissing in there, I'll bring a bucket of water to separate you two."

Kurt immediately called out, "No worries, Dad. Just applying the last of the hairspray on my hair."

Harry snickered at the state of Kurt's hair, and Kurt shoved him as he looked back at the mirror, now adjusting his hair.

Five minutes later

Harry grumbled, "How can I put my hands in your hair if you won't allow it to get spoiled?"

Kurt replied, "I'll spray the hairspray a little less before I come to meet you. Compromise okay?"

They entered the kitchen together, holding hands.

Burt spoke loudly from the living room, "Harry, I'd like to keep you around if that means the hairspray cans will go down from ten to a respectable three or something. However, I do not want to know what you do when the hairspray is not there."

Kurt opened the fridge, getting three Cokes out, putting them in a pitcher, and adding vanilla ice-cream to it.

Harry looked flabbergasted. "I thought your Dad only wanted some ice in his soda, Kurt."

Kurt was a bit nervous, but said, "This is something we do when something important happens in our lives. And…well…"

He knew he had gambled correctly when a very big, proud smile appeared on Harry's face and he gave Harry a quick peck on the mouth. He then turned to get a stirrer to stir the ice-cream nicely into the cold drinks.

Harry held out the serving tray as Kurt put all three glasses on it, and he took it out to give it to what may be his first boyfriend's father. Burt gave him a look as he took one of the glasses.

Kurt looked on from the kitchen as Burt asked Harry, "You'll take care of my kid, then? Don't go breaking his heart, or I'll break you."

Harry nodded rapidly, as if he had no intention of breaking Kurt's heart. Kurt's heart, in turn, fluttered as he jumped around the kitchen and gave out a little shriek of excitement. He knew they hadn't decided labels yet, but was sure they would be dating officially by the end of the day.

Even though Kurt thought he would go out with Harry, they ended up sitting in with his Dad and watched The Notebook. He had asked him twice if he wanted to change the channel, but his Dad refused. And if his Dad tried to wipe away a few tears without trying to alert Harry or him, he pretended not to notice it.

Around five, he got coffee and cut a slice of the chocolate-chip bread he had baked for each one of them. He got a look of bliss from Harry at the melted choco chips and his Dad looked proud.

Burt then looked at his phone and said, "I have to go to the garage. There was an accident and three cars have been damaged apparently. Kurt, do you wanna give me a hand or should I call the other guys?"

Kurt wanted to stay with Harry and cuddle, but at the same time he knew the guys needed a break. He said, "No, I'll come. Let me change into my older clothes first."

Burt nodded as Harry got up from the couch and brushed off a few creases. "Okay, thank you so much for letting me be here, Mr. Hummel. I'll be off, then."

Kurt looked on as his Dad spoke up, "Harry, if you have no pressing work, you can come with us to the garage. We can show you how it's done."

Harry sputtered, "Are you sure I won't be in the way?" He gave Kurt a sideways look.

Kurt immediately reassured him, "Don't worry. Only thing you have to do is look cute and dodge the tools as we throw them to each other for fixing it."

Harry snickered, "That's two things."

Kurt pouted and Harry immediately gave him a small kiss, as if they had been doing it for quite a long time and not just for four hours.

Burt decided to give them some space. "Kurt, get Harry in your car. I'll take my car as well, and when you're done, maybe you can take him out for dinner."

Kurt definitely didn't mind, as he took his keys and escorted Harry to his car.
