I don't own anything from Danball Senki WARS

Just to let you guys know, I've updated the Character x reader series last week and the lucky guy is Seredy!

"Capture the Wall of Gigant." Mito-sensei mused the next day when the first platoon proposed this idea to her.

"Yes." Haruki nodded in confirmation. "We believe that if we cut off the Death Forest's connection with the Wall of Gigant, we'll be able to succeed in capturing it."

"A good point." Mito-sensei said in agreement. "The reinforcements from the Wall of Gigant would be troublesome."

"Since Hikaru and I had fought at the Wall of Gigant once before, we know what the battle there will be like."

"I see. I'll make my decision and announce it before War Time." Mito-sensei told them.

"Hai."

They left the office and was about to head back to their class when someone called Mia.

Mia jumped in surprise and turned around. "Maya?"

"Yup." Maya offered a small smile and pulled her into a sideways hug. "I can see that the uniform really suits you…unlike me."

Mia blinked and glanced at Maya's uniform. "Arabista?"

"Exactly." Maya sighed.

"Um, Mia, who's this?" Sakuya asked.

"That's Maya, her cousin." Daimen answered for her, drawing surprise looks from the rest of the first platoon.

"But…she looks western…"

"My mom is American while my dad is Japanese." Maya explained with a roll of her eyes. "Anyway, I need to see my teacher now. I'll talk to you later."

"Alright, sure." Mia smiled while Haruki silently sighed.

"You can't blame Mia for having family in different virtual countries." Daimen told him with a grin. "Besides, Maya is practically an older sister to her."

"Shouldn't we head back to class now?" Hikaru spoke up. "The next class starts in five minutes."

"Right."

That afternoon, all of the students gathered in their country's respective briefing rooms and waited for their instructions.

"…And that's what the first platoon proposed we do." Mito-sensei concluded after explaining their plan. "Under this plan, today, all platoons are to help with the attack on the Wall of Gigant. Our goal is to attack the pillars that contain the Wall of Gigant's motor system. The first, second and fourth platoons will carry this out. The third and fifth platoon are to patrol and defend the parameter."

"So we are just the support…" Kaito complained.

"The defense is just as important as the offense." Rikuya told him.

"The second platoon has sufficient manpower, the fourth has speed and the first has a balance of those two." Mia mused silently to Daimen, paying no attention to the small rivalry moment between the second and fourth platoons. "And the third and fifth have sturdy defenses. I'll say that Mito-sensei placed us well so there's no reason for Kaito to complain."

"Can't believe you figured that out." Daimen whispered back.

"I worked with them for half a semester already." Mia said with a wink.

"However, Bandit may appear again today." Mito-sensei warned them. "In the case that they appear, I will give orders based on the situation."

Mia subconsciously frowned at the mention of Bandit. 'Why is it that whenever I think of Bandit, I would somehow think of Atsuya too?'

Meanwhile, over at Rossius briefing room, everyone was dismissed but the sixth platoon have yet to leave.

"These are the new weapons I made for Gunther Yzlephar." Kageto said as he opened a briefcase containing a rifle and a shield. "The Belial Rifle and Gigant Shield. Please use them."

Muraku blinked in surprise as this was the first time that Kageto gave him this type of weapons. Normally, he made swords to suit his close range combat style.

As though sensing his confusion, Kageto quickly explained, "I know that you are used to using close range weapons. But, the enemy is increasing their power with new weapons, so I thought…"

"You're right." Muraku said after some thought and smiled. "I'll be pleased to use them."

Kageto smiled and handed them over to him. Muraku suddenly thought of something and turned to his mechanic. "What is the range of the Belial Rifle?"

"About 5 feet. Why?"

"Mia's throwing range is about 3 feet." Muraku mused softly, not entirely hearing his question.

"My guess is that his newest target is Mia." Vanessa whispered to Kageto with a sigh.

"But, why is it that he wants to fight Mia?" Mikhail wondered curiously. "Up till now, he never showed any signs of wanting to face her."

"Your guess is as good as mine." Kageto shrugged.

Soon, three Jenock craft carries entered the Wall of Gigant's territory while the other two remained at the border.

"Descend!" Haruki called once they got close enough. Ten LBX instantly fell out of the craft carries and charged towards the humongous wall as soon as they landed. Each of them attacked the Gunthers and Gleriors with their own respective weapons with the enemy LBX retaliating but not as efficient as they were taken by surprise by Jenock's attack on the Wall of Gigant since they had assumed that they would be attacking Death Forest.

Despite his initial skepticism of DC Offencer's capabilities, Daimen was actually doing quite well while fighting back to back with Mia's Phantom Blaze.

"Gezz, you'd think that they'll be stronger." Daimen complained as he took down a Gunther with his accurate shots and Mia covering him with her throwing knives.

"I know what you mean." Mia smiled. "The only players in Rossius I can give credit to are probably Muraku's platoon."

"Say, what happened between the both of you?" Daimen asked as he still continued to fight two Gleriors.

"None of your business." Mia sighed as she helped him finish off one with her katanas. "I don't even want to talk about it."

"Oh come on, you can tell me." Daimen tried to persuade her.

"Maybe later?" Mia said as her voice dropped into a serious note. "We got company." Phantom Blaze turned around and held up its katanas to shield itself as she sensed someone opening fire behind her but what she did not expect was for Gunther Ylzephar to fire at it with its new rifle and was pushed back by a few meters.

"Mia!"

"I'm alright." Mia said through her gritted teeth. "Don't interfere with this Daimen. This is between me and Muraku."

"What…That's Muraku's LBX?" Daimen said in shocked. As much as he wanted to help her, he knew from a long time ago that Mia would reject his help and if he did interfere…let's just say that the next practice session with her will be very painful for him. "Alright." He finally said. "I'll take on the other two behind him then?"

"Be my guest. But you might need Haruki and Hikaru's help with those two."

Daimen nodded and got DC Offencer to move away while Vanessa and Mikhail did the same to their LBXs.

'Muraku, I was always in your shadow and endured everything that was thrown my way for the past few months all because I respected you and cared for you. But you didn't return the favor at all. Instead, you refused to respect my boundaries and did not trust me at all. I would never lash out at anyone other than in self-defense or in combat practice, and you already know that.' Mia thought to herself as she clenched the controls of the control pod tightly. 'That's why we have to settle this here and now!'

Phantom Blaze made the first move and made a dash at Gunther Ylzephar with her katanas in front of her. Gunther Ylzephar quickly fired its rifle at her but she merely jumped around to avoid the purple plasma beams. When she was a few inches away from it, she brought down her katanas but Muraku blocked it with his shield.

"Mikhail, Kageto, I think we misunderstood something." Vanessa spoke up to her teammates as she and Mikhail fought Daimen's DC Offencer. "It is not Muraku who wants to fight Mia, but other way around."

"Mia is the one who wants to fight Muraku." Mikhail said in realization.

"So that's why he wanted to know the range." Kageto gasped. "He wanted to be prepared for the inevitable fight with Mia."

Mia gritted her teeth as she jumped to avoid more beams from Muraku and was soon cornered by the wall.

"Mia!" Daimen wanted to rush over and help but he had two problems. 1) Mikhail and Vanessa were not letting up to let him assist her. 2) Mia would have his head if he even got closer to them.

"Mia, head for the flag!" Haruki suddenly ordered her, unaware that she was facing Muraku since they were on the other end. But that order was what she needed to formulate an idea to get away from Muraku for the time being.

"Got it!" Mia nodded and directed Phantom Blaze up the wall by jumping on the ledges on the cliff. She reached the top in no time at all and threw her throwing knives at the LBX guarding the flag and ran towards it but Gunther Ylzephar leapt overhead and landed in front of her, having followed her up.

'Mia, you have improved a lot since the last time I fought you.' Muraku thought to himself as he fired his rifle and Phantom Blaze constantly using its agility to its advantage to avoid the beams, having figured out that it was useless to use its throwing knives at this range. 'I'm really sorry if my reputation caused you more harm than good. But, defeating me won't change anything. It'll bring you more harm than it has now. That's why I cannot let you win.'

Gunther Ylzephar soon got in front of Phantom Blaze and aim its rifle point blank range at Phantom Blaze's face. But before it could finish it off, two bright lights from above shot out at them and Muraku was the first one to notice this. Gunther Ylzephar quickly pushed Phantom Blaze away before jumping away itself.

Muraku and Mia looked up from their LBX and saw a blue mysterious LBX materialized above them. They tensed up as the mysterious LBX opened up its wings. Muraku did not hesitate and fired at the LBX repeatedly but most of them missed while the ones that hit did not do any damage to it. It swooped down and began to attack Phantom Blaze, much to Muraku's horror.

"Gezz, what's with this LBX!?" Mia yelled as she blocked its attacks with Phantom Blaze's katanas.

'Mia, get out of there!' Muraku called to her through their bond. But Mia ignored him continued to parry the LBX's attacks and Muraku had enough. He had Gunther Ylzephar jump in front of Phantom Blaze as the blue LBX tried to stab it. But because of Gunther Ylzephar's Gigant Shield, they were sent flying back into the cliff behind the wall. Both platoon's teammates watched in horror as their companions fell down into the cliff.

"Mia!"

"Muraku!"
