Happy Insurgent Trailer Release Day! I was the 12th person on YouTube to see it since I'm sick… It was really good, though it doesn't look closely related to the book. There were epic action scenes and a glimpse of a hot kissing scene ;) Anyways, onto other business. I looked earlier today and saw Cali-is-my-home just followed my story! Oh my God! She is one of my favorite authors, so, thanks!
This story is a few chapters from finishing, so I'm either going to have a drama story or romance story. What are you guys into?
If you vote romance, at the end of your review, put the word, "Hear"
If you vote drama but the word, "Water"
Anyways, here's the chapter.
TOBIAS POV
"You really didn't have to do this, Six" I say.
"I want to. I consider Tris a close friend" she says, beginning to climb down "I'm sure she'll love it"
I climb down after her, "When is she getting out the hospital? That dress isn't staying my closet forever"
"I literally just told you" she says, her feet touching the grass grounds, "Today. As in, an hour"
"Just nervous. What if she doesn't like it?"
"Tobias" she says, "She'll love it"
TRIS POV
"Finally" I said, "I was beginning to think you forgot about me"
"Please" Six said, "I'll be eighty when I forget you"
"I want to get away from all this crap. I want to cut my hair"
"That came out of nowhere" she said, taking my arm, "I checked you out. Let's go"
"Where are we going?"
"You just said you want to cut your hair" she said, dragging me out of the infirmary, "So we're gonna go do it. I'll get a haircut, too"
She's acting strange…..
PAGE BREAK ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~
My hair doesn't even touch my shoulders after the haircut. I got a pixie cut, after Six got one. We're currently in my empty apartment, where Tobias was supposed to be, but I guess he's gone.
"I bought you this dress" Six said, taking one of the dresses of the rack in our closet.
"I was wondering where that came from" I said.
It was a black dress. It had a knee-length skirt, and long sleeves, and it wasn't very revealing and it was easy to put on. A black flower patch rested on my right collarbone, covering up my tattoos.
"Where are we even going?"
"I thought it was obvious. Tobias is taking you on a date" she said, running a hand through her newly cut hair.
"Oh. I thought I was going to a party"
"Nope" Six said, dragging me to the door "I have to finish initiation before I go to a party"
"Ah" I said, "So where are we going?"
"Hopefully that dress is comfy" she said, opening the door, "Climbing windmills in dresses make you itchy. Strangely"
Of course it's the windmill.
The place of our second kiss.
PAGE BREAK. LINE BREAK. TIME SKIP.
"So I have to climb this giant thing, and you're not even coming with me" I say.
"Duh" she said, "Then it would be a three person date. And those are awkward. So no, I'm not climbing"
"Fine" I said, putting my foot on the first rung, "It's a good thing I wore these shoes"
Upon reaching the top, Six was completely out of sight, not because she was far away, but because she had left halfway through my climb.
I find Tobias at the top, looking more handsome than ever in a tux. I drag my eyes away from him and spot a candlelit table, with a bit of fresh food.
"Oh my God, did you do this?" I ask, smiling.
"Yeah. With a bit of help"
"Wow. Thanks" I say walking towards him, "I love it"
"I knew you would" he says, taking my hand, wrapping an arm around me, and pressing a sweet kiss to my lips, "You cut your hair"
"I did" I say, "You like it?"
"It makes it easier to kiss you" he says, pressing his lips to mine again, softly.
I smile, and pull away, "What is this?" I ask, my arms still around his neck.
He takes both my hands, "A dinner. Just the two of us"
"It'll be perfect" I say.
LINE BREAK
We had an Italian dish; spaghetti and meatballs.
"Remember when we were here?" he says.
"Of course. How could I forget?" I say, looking at the stars.
"It was the day after I first kissed you" He took my hand, leading my gaze to his eyes, "We went up, and with my fear of hights I didn't want to go down and we walked in on a naked couple" he chuckled.
"I couldn't stop laughing" I say, smiling "So you kissed me to shut me up"
"I did, didn't I?" he smiled, "And through all that, all I could think was, 'I love this girl'. I still do. A lot. In fact, I wish to wed her so very badly"
He stood up and kneeled, fiddling with something in his back pocket, and held out a black box.
"Um…he stuttered, "Beatrice I don't know your middle name Prior, I may have only known you for six months, but those were the happiest six months of my life, and if you could just bear with me for the rest of your life by saying yes to this question, then I truly will be the happiest man on earth. Tris, will do the honor of becoming my wife?"
I smile, "How could I say no?"
He smiled at me and wrapped me up in his arms, kissing me passionately, squeezing me so tight, I can barely breathe.
He pulls away, and slides the ring onto my finger. He kisses my forehead.
"Oh my God" I say, "We're getting married"
"Yes" he says, "Yes we are"
PAGE BREAK
We didn't run into our friends on the way back to the apartment, so we were alone; which makes sense, we just got engaged.
After closing the door to the apartment, he kisses me passionately everywhere: the neck, the cheek, the forehead, anywhere he can get his lips on, and he takes of the black jacket to his tux off, touching the zipper of my dress.
Before he does he looks at me and stutters, "Can I um..your…yeah?"
"Um my yeah?"
"Yes, I mean, no I mean-"
He is cut off by the brazen act of me zipping off the zipper myself, revealing my undergarments. He takes off his own shirt, pressing his lips to my neck, whispering, "I love you, you know"
"I know"
And just like that I lose myself in him.
Yes…they did do "it". But it took them along time….
Oh! And don't forget!
This story is a few chapters from finishing, so I'm either going to have a drama story or romance story. What are you guys into?
