MERRY CHRISTMAS (OR CHRISTMAS EVE DEPENDING ON WHERE YOU ARE)!

I'm sorry for the wait, I was going to post earlier this week but my wi-fi was crapping out (turns out we needed a new router and cable modeum, which was just set up) so I've got a short and sweet chapter for you and hopefully I'll be updating tomorrow/later today.

Thor's POV

I arrive in a dark place. I look around, I appear to be in a cave of somesort. I take a gentle step forward and after looking around more I see a faint outline of a body deeper in the cave, wearing a horned hat.

"Loki." I muttered under my breath as I stepped forward carefully and once I was about 4 feet from the figure I cleared my throat and say, "Loki, brother I wish to speak with you."

"Have you come to meet my demands?" Loki asks.

"No-"

"Then I do not wish to speak with you. Leave." Loki snaps.

"I am here to negotiate with you. Take you back to father to have your punishment lifted or suspended." I say

There's a silent moment and then Loki asks,

"Really?" As if not believing his ears.

"Yes, now come." I say and before Loki could say anything I grabbed him and lifted my hammer up to the sky and flew to Asgard.

I land right in front of my father's throne, where my mother is sitting next to him.

"Father, Mother, thank you for meeting with me." I say bowing politely, my grip on Loki still strong and present.

"We do not have much time Thor, why is it you are meeting with us and why he here?" Odin says pointing to Loki.

"I would like to negotiate Loki's punishment, and before you say anything I have an idea of what we could do instead to where nobody is upset and nobody gets hurt." I say calmly, hoping he listened

"And what would that be?" Odin said.

"Sending Loki back to Earth without any powers or connection to us for as long as needed for him to learn his lesson, like I had." I suggest, I had certainly learned my lesson, and perhaps Loki would too.

Odin waited for a little bit and then said,

"That is a very noble thing for you to do Thor."

"What is father?" I ask

"Taking what you believe was an injustice, and instead of smashing things and rebelling against me like you would have done a year ago you come to me with an alternative that I do think sounds pleasing." Odin says. I smile and then say,

"Thank you father."

"So I can see Darcy again?" Loki suddenly asks his facial expression changing from hostile to hopeful.

"There still are terms Loki, you will be zoned inside of a city, where you will be placed with one of our allies in disguise completing acts of kindness until you've learned your lesson. Thor will explain more after your powers have been drained." Odin says.

I watch as Loki's knees buckle and he sinks to the floor, crying tears of joy-for not having to be improsioned.

"And you will only be able to go under the fake identity you are assigned." Odin says,

"Thank you." Loki said before breaking down again. I feel my h eart clench, it was hard for me to watch Loki-even though he was crying tears of joy, he had never been a very emotional child, and him not showing emotion gave me hope that he could be saved yet.

"Thor, I will send him down to your coordinates after the process is finished." Odin says as a guard comes and takes Loki
