LEMON Warning.
Hello once again my readers, I thank you once again for choosing to read this fic. I don't mean to sound self-centered or anything, but my B-Day is coming up pretty soon. However Im not going to say what day it is. Why? Well that's my little secret, just know that its a little personal for a particular reason is all. Even so, enjoy the following chapter.
That night Shadow has another strange dream. He's in what he recognizes as the Demon Spawn dark guild hall and he's standing before two beings, he cant make out their faces, but they look to be about 15 in age.
"Is that him?"
"It is, the Darkness Dragon, Shadow." They say to each other.
"Who are you? Tell me." Shadow demands.
"Really now? Don't you recognize us?"
"After we are your-" That's all Shadow sees before the dream ends, it leaves him very confused.
The next morning arrives and Silver slowly wakes up and yawns.
Shadow is already awake, looking out the window over the gemstone cliffs, still confused about that dream he had.
Silver gets up and walks over to him. "Shadow? What's wrong?" She looks at him.
He turns to her. "Oh Silver, good morning. Its just another strange dream, this one was very confusing." He explains it all to her.
"Oh I see. So could they be from the guild and what could they be to you?"
"I don't know on either, but I do know they are of some real significance to me. Somehow, but I don't know at all."
"Maybe later we'll find out what your dreams mean."
"Id like that." Then in the morning air, the cliffs begin to shine in all the different colors of their gems. "Look Silver, this is what this place is most famous for. Isn't it beautiful?"
"Wow, its so lovely. Its just like a rainbow." Silver comments, in awe of it all.
"Yeah, it kinda reminds me of all our different elements. Together they all shine bright, just like a rainbow."
"Yeah your right Shadow, Im glad we came here." She smiles at him.
He smiles as well. "Me to Silver."
"So what shall we do today?"
"Well we could go explore the gem caverns or go check out all the different attractions this resort has to offer."
"Mhmm...Lets explore the gem caverns." She answers.
"Sounds good, lets make breakfast then go check it out." Shadow goes over to the kitchen and starts making breakfast.
"Alright Shadow." Silver follows and helps him.
They soon finish, sit down and start eating.
"We made a tasty breakfast Shadow."
"We did Silver, good thing we can both cook with a child on the way Silver."
"Yeah, that will be good." She smiles.
Shadow smiles back and keeps eating.
They both soon finish, clears the dishes and gets dressed.
"Okay, lets head out." Shadow gives her his hand.
"Alright my dear husband." She smiles and takes his hand.
"Thank you my lovely wife." He smiles back and they begin walking down to the caverns.
They soon make it to the entrance of the caverns. "Wow, it looks amazing." Silver comments on it, impressed again.
"I agree, Ive heard a dragon used to live here. Deep inside."
"Really? That sounds really cool."
"For sure, wanna go deep inside and see if it was true?" Shadow asks, with great interest.
"Yeah, maybe the dragon could still be here or some evidence there was one here." Silver matches his interest.
"I think so too. I really wanna know." The pair begins walking inside the caverns.
Silver looks around at all the different colored gems. "Wow, there's so many."
"Rubies, Sapphires, Emeralds, Topaz, Amethyst, even diamonds. People are forbidden to take them though, it would ruin the natural beauty of this place."
"Yeah, they are beautiful, but I wouldn't take them. There best left here."
"I agree, I can see why a dragon would live here. Its amazing and perfect for the right kind."
"It does depend on what type it was."
"I imagine it was some kind of gemstone dragon, perhaps one of diamond or crystal." Shadow deduces.
"Maybe a Gem Dragon?"
"Could be, so that would mean it ate these gems. Both for power and for food, I wonder which ones tasted the best to it."
"Who knows? Lets keep looking."
"It must've lived deep inside these mountains, I wonder how far these caves go for the resort." They keep walking deeper and deeper into the caves.
"Lets not go too far down Shadow, if a dragon really is here we don't know how it will act." Silver cautions him.
"I know Silver, but remember I can turn into a dragon myself. So we shouldn't have to worry too much."
"Still lets be careful. Who knows what's down here other then maybe a dragon?"
"True, stay on guard just incase." They keep going for now.
"Okay Shadow." Silver keeps close to him.
They eventually reach a dead end. "Its a dead end, I think this is as far as it goes."
"Oh I see, I did wish to see if a dragon was here..." Silver comments in disappointment.
"Me to, it really is a shame." Then the ground begins to crack under their feet and Shadow gets a little worried. "...Silver...be very careful...I think the ground underneath us is hollow."
"No problem." She levitates them both just a little above the ground.
"Nice trick." Shadow smiles at her.
"Yeah, but could there be something under us?" She looks down, getting curious.
"Probably." Shadow floats down a bit, kicks the ground under them and it caves in, revealing a deep dark secret cave. "Another cave."
Silver gently brings the two of them down to the ground. "Maybe there really is something down here."
"Yeah, this place was clearly kept secret."
"Yeah, lets keep looking. Now Im really interested."
"Me to." They reach the bottom after a few minutes and its totally dark. "Hold on." Shadow eats away at the darkness and the room begins to brighten up.
"You know I could have made us a light." Silver reminds him.
"I know, either way would've worked. Lets look around." The gemstones in this part of the cave look more concentrated. "Interesting, it seems that being much deeper underground has stimulated their growth."
"Yeah, their a bit different from the ones we saw on our way in and the ones outside."
Shadow then sniffs around and after a minute he catches a scent. "I smell something, its this way." He begins following it.
Silver follows him. "Wait up!"
After a few more minutes of running Shadow stops and reaches a cliff. "Hold it, there's a cliff here."
"A cliff? Underground?" Silver stops too.
"Yeah, there can still be cliffs underground. Its rare, but it happens. Anyway the scent continues on the other side."
"Oh okay, Ill just levitate us across. Still its weird to find a cliff down here."
Then they both hear hissing and lots of it. "Do you here that?" There's some other sounds too, as the cave gets a little darker again.
"Shadow can you eat this darkness?" Silver keeps close to him, not sure what the sounds are.
"Of course." He eats it again and they see tons of snakes and bats. "...Uh oh..."
Silver shivers a bit. "...Snakes...and bats..."
Shadow then makes both of them fade into the remaining darkness and they reappear on the other side of the cliff and out of the reach of the snakes and bats.
Silver sighs in relief. "Thanks Shadow."
"No problem Silver and now that we're out of their reach I can do this." He turns back toward where they all are and takes a deep breath. "...NOISE!" Then the two of them hear them all scatter and Shadow laughs a lot.
Silver uncovers her ears. "Shadow why did you do that?"
"I thought it would be funny and it was, sorry about that Silver." He turns back to her.
"Its okay Shadow, lets just keep going." She smiles at him.
He smiles back and they keep going.
"I don't think anyone has been down here."
"I agree, what I smell is definitely not human." When they finally reach the source of the smell Shadow is shocked to see what it is. "...Is...this real?"
"What is it Shadow?" Silver looks at what he sees.
Its a real dragon, encased in a giant diamond. "...I don't believe it...Its a real dragon...It might be inside a giant diamond but...its a real dragon none the less..." Shadow walks up to it slowly, in awe.
"Amazing...but...why is it inside that diamond?...Is it still alive?" Silver looks at it too, also in awe.
"I don't know, I cant even imagine how this happened. It shouldn't even be possible." Shadow touches it and tries to see if its still alive and get a read on it.
"Well is it alive Shadow?" Silver looks at him.
"...I cant tell Silver, but I am able to see that what did this to it was a type of magic. Although by the look of it, this dragon did it to itself. But why?" He answers, but doesn't turn back to her.
"Could it be possible this dragon could have wanted to live with humans, but when it found out about the war it flew away and then it encased itself inside this diamond incase someone were to find it?" Silver offers an answer.
"That is a strong possibility, Im sure some dragons were willing to do anything to get out of the war and try to preserve the species." Then Shadow notices something in its right claw. "Its holding something, Ill try and get it." He uses his vortex and is able to get what was in its claw, then he brings it all back down to them. "Its just a few pieces of paper, they look like they were torn out of a book."
"From a book...Let me see them Shadow." Silver reaches out to him for the pieces of paper, thinking she might know where they came from.
"Okay Silver." He hands them to her.
She takes them and starts looking through the pages. "These are from the dragon book I found, but...how did this dragon get them?"
"Im not sure, what do they say?" They explain what happened near the end of the war. How 12 dragons left their DNA with the humans, several others fled to hide while the war ended, and even how Acnologia fought until the bitter end, but was sealed away on his island by Zeref. Zeref is the second of the two most powerful beings of this world, no one knows where he is now though. It also tells how the war and the events all around caused a rip in the fabric of space time, causing two unknown beings to be lost from history. No one knows where they are now, who they were, or when they came from or when they are now. Also that the author of the book was Chronologia, the Time Dragon. That's all it says. "Wow, heavy stuff."
"A Time Dragon wrote this book?...But how was it at the temple?..." Silver finds all of this very confusing.
"Maybe he sent it their knowing you'd find it one day, perhaps he also gave this dragon the last few pages. But again why? This all makes no sense." Then Shadow sees some writing on the back of one of the pages that only dragons can read. "Silver, let me see that page."
"Okay sure, I cant read it. Maybe you can." She gives it to him.
Since he's technically a full dragon, Shadow can read it and what he reads shocks him to his very core. "Its says...Shadow and Silver...if your reading this then you must be in the deepest part of the gemstone caves with the sealed Gem Dragon. I know this will be a lot to take in, but I have faith you two can handle it...According to this...come nine months and several days from now...you will both die...Im not sure by the hands of who...Just stay away from the final dark guild...If you go...it will be a death sentence to you both...Also turn the paper over again..." He slowly turns the page over and sees the most terrifying picture of a demon he's ever seen. "AH!" It startles him so he quickly drops the page and breathes heavily.
Hearing this shocks Silver too. "...So...the Time Dragon knew we'd come here and find all of this...but...nine mouths. That'll be right near time I give birth and what's on the other side?" She asks him.
"...Its a...a picture of a very terrifying demon...Once again I don't know what it means."
"Oh...I see...Maybe the Time Dragon knew this would happen and we would come here...Shadow...I don't want to fight the dark guild...Demon Spawn." Silver shivers slightly.
Shadow holds her close, both for her and for himself. "...I know Silver...Im scared by this too...Still...everything in me...is telling me...I must fight them..."
"But Shadow, you read what that note said. We'll both die if we fight them. That's it. Is it really worth dying just to beat a dark guild?"
"...No its not...I just cant explain it...Its a like a voice inside me is telling me to fight them...Im not sure why though..." Then Shadow close his eyes, hold his head and grits his teeth in frustration. "Rrrrr...Why does this stuff only happen to us?!"
"Shadow...lets try to break the Gem Dragon free. Maybe it will be able to help us."
He calms down. "Yeah, lets give it a shot Silver. Diamond is a very tough material though, so we'll need to give it everything we've got. Light Darkness Dragon Mode." He goes into his light and darkness mode.
"Wait Shadow, we could hurt the dragon if we use force? Why don't we try and break the spell?" Silver tries to hold him back.
"Dragons are tough, one blast wouldn't hurt it. Especially when its protected by all that diamond, but if you wanna try then okay." Shadow turns his light and darkness mode off for now.
"No harm in trying. This spell is like diamond encasing, but its normally used on enemies. Its a very tough spell to dispel, but I think I could do it."
"I believe in you Silver, I know you can." Shadow steps back a bit to give her same space.
"Alright, just give me a minute." She starts casting a spell.
The diamond begins to react to the spell. "I think its working."
"Yeah, lets hope...Deluxe Seal Spell Release!" The diamond starts glowing and then it starts to fall apart.
The dragon inside falls to the ground, out cold but then it starts breathing. "It worked, Silver your amazing!" Shadow smiles at her.
"Great, Im glad its still alive. We should wait for it to wake up." She smiles back at him.
"Yeah, maybe it can answer some of our questions." Shadow then turns to the dragon and waits for it to wake up.
After awhile it slowly starts waking up. "Shadow its waking up." Silver informs him.
"...Ugh...Dear lord...How long has it been?" The dragon gets to his feet and asks.
"Its been hundreds of years, its very nice to meet you. My name is Shadow, Im the new Darkness Dragon and this is Silver, my wife." Shadow looks up at him and introduces himself and Silver.
"Umm hello there, your the Gem Dragon correct?" Silver asks him.
"Indeed I am, call me Prismance. Now tell me. Who broke the seal on my diamond?" This dragon's body has thousands of gemstones of all colors instead of scales, they completely cover his body like a strong coat of armor and in some places they stick out like spikes. On his head, along his back and at his shoulders legs and tail.
"That was Silver, she's very gifted when it comes to magic spells." Shadow answers.
"I see, thank you for releasing me Silver." Prismance bows his head to her in thanks.
"It was no trouble, Im really glad to meet a full dragon who doesnt hate me." She smiles up at him.
"Its natural that I dont hate you, Im a dragon that was on the side of peacefully coexisting with humans."
"That's good to hear, its nice to finally meet a kind hearted dragon." Shadow comments.
"Oh good, Im so glad. The Dragon King wanted me dead." Silver adds.
"I can imagine, Acnologia always thought very little of any non dragon creatures." Prismance informs them.
"Do you mind if I ask you something?" Shadow asks.
"Of course."
"The pages say that 12 dragons gave their DNA to the humans, does that include Skiadrum?"
"Ah yes, the old Darkness Dragon. Yes, it does. Why?"
"Its just I had a bad encounter with him in the past, I had no idea he was on the side of coexisting with humans." Shadow explains.
"You mean Skiadrum wanted peace? He didn't sound like that when I talked to him." Silver adds in complete disbelief.
"It may not seem like it, but he did stand for peace. He was just a little difficult to get a long with." The dragon informs them.
"Well he tried to possess me and force me into Dragon Force. Acnologia said he brought his spirit back to do just that to me." Shadow adds.
"Ah now it makes sense, Acnologia has a power that allows him to influence dragons. However it only works on dragons who hold some kind of darkness in their heart and I don't mean element wise."
"I see, so it was all Acnologia." Shadow deduces.
"I cant believe he did that...He's horrible." Silver almost cant believe this.
Shadow then puts his head down. "...If only Id have known...I wish I could tell my dragon that Im sorry..."
"Im sure he knows, his blood runs through yours veins." Prismance tells Shadow.
"...Skiadrum..." Is the only thing Shadow says.
"Now I feel bad for being mean to him, but I was scared Shadow would forget about me." Silver agrees with how Shadow feels.
"That is not an issue, once a human becomes a dragon they are given the ability to change back at will and they retain all their memories. But only if they have fond memories and loved ones in their human lives that they know they cant do without, in Shadow's case that's you Silver." Prismance explains and Shadow nods.
"Oh I see and all the dragons do have either someone or all the others, so we don't have to worry about them being full dragons." Silver declares.
"I guess not, especially Sting and Gajeel. They have Layla and Levi, even Blaze and Marin have each other. And Wendy has us too." Shadow agrees.
"And the rest too, we all have each other." Silver adds.
"That's all very good to hear, some of us were worried about that all those years ago." Prismance brings up.
"Thank you, also do you know why or how we die at the dark guild in the future?" Shadow asks.
""Im afraid I do not, Im sure Chronologia did, but he's gone now."
"Damn, too bad."
"I really wish we could have met him, he's the one who wrote the dragon book." Silver adds to Shadow disappointment.
"Me to, Im sure he would know a lot more then we do."
"Yeah, so umm Prismance, would you know where the dragons that are hiding could be?" Silver asks him.
"Unfortunately not, why do you ask?"
"Maybe they could help us with the our battle against Demon Spawn, is it possible Chronologia left other notes for us?" Silver asks another question.
"No, he knew you'd be here specifically. Even if you were to find the other dragons they would offer you no answers or help."
"It was worth a try Silver." Shadow tells her.
"Yeah, I do wish we knew who it is that supposedly kills us and who that scary demon picture is of." Silver wonders out loud.
"Im afraid I have the answers to neither, Im not sure if even Chronologia had the answers. He seemed very confused by all of this, especially when the two unknown beings were lost from history. That was really confusing for him." The Gem Dragon explains.
"Yeah, Ive been wondering about that. I wonder who got lost from history and for that matter when?" Now Shadow wonders out loud.
"Its very strange, I do wonder who they were." Silver shares his intrigue.
"Me to, were they important and where or when did they end up?"
"We were wondering about it as well, unfortunately we didn't have time to think too much about it. The war was nearing its end and it needed our attention." The Gem Dragon explains more to them.
"I see, alright then." Shadow understands.
"So what will you do now? Nearly everyone thinks the dragons are all gone." Silver questions.
"Ill probably just stay down here. There are plenty of gemstones for me to eat and no human will ever come down here and see me. Ill return to the surface one day, after the king of dragons is dethroned."
"You just leave that to us, Acnologia's rein is nearly over." Shadow says confidently.
"That's good to hear, it seems Chronologia's will was well placed." Prismance and Shadow smile at each other.
"Alright then. Oh yeah, we have to fill in the hole Shadow. Before we leave this cave so no one will come here." Silver reminds him.
"You can leave that to me, I am one with the gems and crystals." Prismance also reminds them.
"Alright then, it was really great to meet you Prismance." Shadow says to the dragon.
"Same to both of you, farewell Shadow and Silver."
"Thank you for everything, Silver dear if you please." Shadow is referring to her teleport spell.
"Alright Shadow, it was nice to met you Prismance. I hope to see you again someday." Silver smiles at him and teleports herself and Shadow to the entrance of the cave.
"That was a real eye opening experience, it left me very worried, confused and even a little disturbed." Shadow feels a mix of emotions.
"Yeah, me too." Silver puts a hand on her stomach, worried about what Chronologia wrote to them.
Shadow puts a hand over hers. "...Im scared Silver...For the first time in my life...Im really scared...For both of us..."
"Shadow...if what Chronologia's note said is true...then I cant bare for our child to grow up without its parents..."
"I agree, but...Rgh...I don't know what to do anymore...Im very sorry Silver. I didn't think things would ever come to this. Its frustrating, the situation we're in." He grits his teeth, unable to think of a solution.
"...Wait, Chronologia knew about this because he's the Time Dragon." Silver announces.
"Yeah, so what?" Shadow looks a little confused by her statement.
"Well I could try learning a time spell, to see into the future and see what happens in around nine mouths from now."
"I see, it could work. But if you do be careful, you might end up seeing something you wish you didn't." Shadow cautions her.
"Ill try Shadow, maybe we can stop ourselves from dying."
"Maybe, if there's one thing Ive learned from this journey of ours. Its that even destiny can be changed, you taught me that Silver." He smiles at her.
She smiles back. "Yeah, thank you Shadow."
The couple then walks back to their room for some food and rest, as its nearing dusk.
After some nice dinner they both get ready for bed.
After that they sit on their bed, thinking about all that's happened today. "Today was crazy, Im having a very hard time processing all of it."
"Yeah, me too Shadow. Meeting another dragon and learning all that stuff."
"Here I thought we had finally gotten all of our answers and made it out of situations like these, but things only seem to be getting a lot tougher Silver...Tell me...do you...think we're failures?"
"Failures? Why would you say that Shadow?" She looks at him, confused by his question.
"Because if not even the Time Dragon could figure out how to save us and it seems we're gonna die, then I don't know...the situation just seems hopeless. Sorry if it sounds like Im giving up too quickly."
"Shadow don't talk like that, we're not going to die. Im going to learn the time spell and find out how we can change it." She tries to reassure him.
"...Okay Silver, you know I trust you more then anyone else. I know if anyone can do it its you."
"Don't worry, Ill do it." Then she nuzzles his neck, gently.
Shadow blushes a bit, but pulls her close to himself.
Silver kisses his neck gently and cuddles into him.
Shadow moans softly and holds her close.
Silver blushes and licks his neck.
Shadow moans softly once again. "Where did this come from all of a sudden?"
Silver blushes more. "I wanted you to forget about what happened today, even if its only a little."
"Oh...I see...Im not complaining...Continue if you want." Shadow blushes as well.
Silver nods, then sucks his neck gently and tugs at his clothes.
Shadow continues to moan softly and snaps his fingers, then his shirt disappears into his vortex without being ripped.
Silver sucks and nibbles at his neck and moves her hands up and down his chest.
Shadow moans more, then does the same thing with his pants as he did with his shirt for her.
This makes Silver blush more, then she moves down to his chest, kissing and licking as she goes.
Her actions makes Shadow blush and moan more. "...Aahhhh...S-Silver...I had no idea...you could be so...forward...Aaaahhhh..."
"Am I doing okay Shadow?" She blushes hard.
"...Yeah...it feels good...I like it."
"Okay." She keeps going down and gently tugs at his boxers.
Shadow blushes, moans, and removes them in a vortex as well. Letting his erect member out for Silver.
She blushes hard and stares at it.
Shadow blushes hard as well, not entirely used to her taking control in these situations.
"Umm...now what Shadow?" She looks up at him, not sure what to do next.
He blushes hard again. "...Uhhh...put it between your breasts...and suck on the end...If that's alright..."
"O-Okay Shadow..." Silver blushes hard, takes off her shirt and bra, then puts his member between her breasts and sucks the top of it gently.
He blushes harder and moans loud. "Aaaahhh!...That's it...Feels...so good...and soft!...Silver!...Aaaahhhhh!..."
She blushes hard, moans, sucks hard and moves her breast and mouth up and down his member.
Shadow keeps blushing and moaning loud. "...Aaaahhh!...S-Silver...Im almost there!...Aaahhh!...Just...a little more!..."
She blushes harder, sucks harder and moves faster.
Shadow feels his climax coming. "Aaaahhhh!...Silver!...Im...gonna cum!...Aaaahhhh!..." He then cums hard into her mouth and pants heavily.
She swallows it all down and licks up the rest. "...Shadow...you taste so good." She blushes.
He blushes too. "...Thank you...Silver...That felt very good...I had no idea you had that in you..."
She blushes hard and lays beside him. "...Well you always do it to me...and I wanted to try it..."
He lays down next to her. "Im glad ya did, your really good at it. Thank you, I loved it a lot."
His complements make her blush hard once more. "...Th-Thank you..."
Shadow smiles at her. "That helped me forget about today alright, so thank you again Silver."
She smiles back. "Im glad it did."
"You always know just what to do Silver, your the best." He holds her close to himself again.
"Thank you." She cuddles into him.
"Lets change our fate, just like before. I know we can."
"Yeah, we'll make sure of it." She smiles up at him.
He smiles back. "We have to, not just for ourselves. For everyone and most of all for this one." He puts his hand over her stomach.
She blushes at his touch. "Yeah, your right. I cant wait for it."
"Me neither, we have to make sure his or her parents are there for them."
"Yeah, soon Ill have a bump so I better not hear any jokes about my figure."
"Of course not, I know how this works. I know that its just all apart of pregnancy, so its okay." He assures her.
"Yeah and don't forget the mood swings..."
"I didn't and Im ready for them."
"Okay, for whatever happens in the future, Im sorry for anything I do."
Shadow hugs her. "I understand, you don't have to be sorry. No matter what happens Ill always love you Silver."
She hugs him back. "Thank you Shadow, I love you too."
"I cant wait to meet our new child, lets make sure we're good parents."
"Yeah, me neither. And I know we will be good parents."
"Me to, now lets get some rest." He pulls the blanket over them, closes his eyes and falls asleep.
"Okay, night love." She falls asleep too.
Kinda a lot to take in all at once, but imagine how Shadow and Silver must feel. Is what they read really true? Are they really doomed? Just who are the two beings that got lost from history? What was that demon picture all about? And how many more unanswered question do I have tucked away for later? Find out next time, here only.
