36. Celebration!

This is a super long chapter. This is extremely similar to Chapter 4, but I don't need you guys to go back and read it unless you want.

I have decided that I will continue with Legend Part 2 as my first story after Dreams. The other idea for AITW kinda slipped away cause I didn't write it down... bad choice... however, I'm planning a few week hiatus after Dreams just so I can take a break from fanfiction. As for some of my other stories, Scars to Remember is discontinued unless further notice; plenty more one-shots, the collab with NinjaMaster220 still in the works, Kingdoms Lost also still in the works. I sure have an interesting plan for the future of raydoesminecraft.

Ray POV

It had been a week since my conversation with Mitch. We'd been hiding the secret ever since. Mitch and I came to conclusion that it was about time we told the others about the baby.

On that lazy Tuesday, everyone sat in the entertainment room, watching an episode of some reality TV show I didn't care much for. Preston, one of the only ones not into the show, perked up once Mitch and I entered the room. "Hey guys. What's up?"

"Ray and I have to say something very important." Adam paused the TV when they noticed we weren't just joking around as usual.

After a moment's pause and Team Crafted staring us down, I glanced over towards Mitch. "Go ahead." He elbowed me and I raised an eyebrow. "Hey! You brought it up."

"It was your idea."

I rolled my hand, grasping tighter onto my husband's hand. "Just tell them already, Mitch."

"Fine."

Brooke got extremely curious and questioned us. "What is it?"

Mitch finally slipped the news. "Ray and I are having a baby."

Crystal gasped, clasping her hands together. "A child?! Congratulations!"

Jerome pouted his lips, imagining a baby in the house. "Aw baby Benj and Ray. So cute."

Mitch crossed his arms, his attention focused on Jerome."It gets even better."

Ian asked, wondering what Mitch would reveal next. "Yeah?"

"Jerome finally gets his party. I sent out a Facebook event planned for this Saturday."

Jerome jumped up and grabbed onto Mitch like a stuffed bacca toy. "Yes!"

I laughed. "We knew you would be excited."

There was a knock at the door. Sapphire, the closest, stood up, exited the entertainment room, and opened the door to find Caleb, Jade, and two very familiar people.

These four people entered the entertainment room, shocking all of us.

Fia spotted her gothic cousin within seconds. "Kohta?"

Adam glanced at the seclusive brunette in the back of the group. "Allison?"

Caleb explained the girls' presences. "I brought them here."

"Why?" Carter queried, seeming to not trust either of them. I wouldn't have blamed her.

Caleb continued. "They've switched sides. And Draco and Lia are no longer our problems."

Zee kept her eye on Allison, as suspicious as Carter. "And how do you know?"

"Jade and I met with everyone. They're heading off to the East Coast. Won't bother us anymore."

Ty seemed to believe Caleb but needed a confirmation. "Are you completely sure?"

"Draco told me in his own words."

Once the chaos died down and Adam played the TV again, Allison sat next to me on a couch.

Allison gulped and didn't dare to look into my eyes. "Ray... I'm sorry. This has gotten way too out of hand."

I gave her a half-smile, finding the true apology in her tone. "I'm sorry for your loss, Allison. I trust you. You've never done anything bad to me in particular..."

Allison shook her head. "That's not true. I..."

I cut her off. "Ashley was the one who killed Clara. She was the one who kidnapped Fia. Don't blame yourself for any of that."

Allison glanced up and finally looked at me. "But... but..."

"Please." I touched her arm, but Caleb's sister pulled back, freaked out by how nice I was to her.

"Fine. Did Jade tell you to say that?"

I raised my eyebrow. "No..."

"Never mind. I gotta go." Allison returned to Jade's side and started talking. It surprised me to see them so close after only a little while together.

"What do you say if we play a round of the Hunger Deenz?!" Jerome burst, dragging Mitch to the bottom of the stairwell.

"Oh I guess," Jason chuckled and followed the boys upstairs.

"Caleb, Jade, Allison, Kohta... wanna join? We got spare laptops with alternate MC accounts."

"Sure," Jade replied for all of them, "I'm just gonna have to play with Caleb... cause you know..."

"We understand."

Team Crafted and company rushed upstairs into their rooms. Caleb and Jade shared a room with Tyler while Allison and Kohta shared a room with Ian and Zee. We all logged onto our computers. Mitch and I were the only ones in our room, devising a certain plan that would trick all of our friends. We had the perfect idea.

After entering Minecraft and the Nexus, Mitch created a VIP lobby for us and our friends.

"Which lobby?" Tyler questioned.

"34," Mitch replied, double-clicking his mouse to transport into the game. Everyone else did the same.

"Teams?" Preston asked.

"Yeah. Lezzgo... Me, Ray, Fia, Adam... Jerome, Carter, Jason, Brooke... Ian, Zee, Allison, Kohta... Tyler, Quentin, Sapphire, Caleb, and Jade... and... Ty, Crystal, and Preston."

"A team of five?" Preston "Kinda seems unfair against us three."

"Deal with it, Purston. Really no biggie. We can invite some others if you wanna have fair teams."

"Yeah. That would help."

"Okay dood..."

Mitch added Brotato, Megan, NoahCraftFTW, CraftBattleDuty, Vikkstar123, and ChocotheChocobo.

"It's not even again you cactuses!" Preston burst.

"Come on, really? Just as we get into the call?" Choco queried.

"Actually it is even," I mumbled, trying to draw no attention to myself.

Mitch interrupted Preston's complaints by welcoming the new members. "Hey guys. Thanks for joining on such short notice. So... Lachlan is teaming with Ian's group, Noah's with my group, Vikk is with Tyler's group since Jade isn't playing, Brotato and Megan are with Ty's group, and Choco's with Jerome's group. The team captains are me, Jerome, Ian, Tyler, and Ty. Good enough? Everyone got it?"

"Fine," Preston grumbled.

"Now lezzgo." Mitch shouted, allowing the teams to split into their separate calls.

"I don't think I know all of you," Noah begun.

"Me neither," Fia commented, "You are?"

"Noah..."

"How old are you?"

"Why such serious questions?"

"There were only two questions." Fia enunciated with a tone of disgust. She did not like Noah at all.

"Okay... chillax. I'm 17," Noah casually replied.

"Wow. You're young."

"Hey! Insulting!" He snapped.

"Fia." Adam groaned, protecting mostly his girlfriend from Noah not necessarily the other way around.

"Is she your girlfriend, Adam?" Noah questioned.

"Yeah. But she's great. Trust me."

"Uh huh," Noah responded sarcastically.

Fia growled. "What are you...?"

"Everyone be quiet!" I shouted, "I'm Ray, Mitch's wife, and we're gonna be called the Hunger Deans Squad cause I watched Mitch's video earlier this year and I don't have any other ideas."

"Seriously?" Mitch chuckled.

"Yes. I'm serious."

"I didn't think you watched my videos anymore."

"Really?"

"Oh! Shots fired!" Noah interrupted.

"Be quiet, boy!" Fia yelled, upset with Noah's rebellious personality. I guessed he reminded Fia of herself back in Washington.

Noah remained silent.

Jerome POV

"Hello fluffy bird," Brooke giggled.

"Trying to play a joke with my name, ey?" Choco laughed.

"That should be our team name!" I announced, "Fluffy birds!"

"Jerome! No!" Carter cut me off me before I talked any further. "We were The Furry Things last Hunger Games. I'm not doing another Fluffy reference."

"Carter... please... I love you so much babe..."

"Jerome..."

"Aw," Choco said, "This is too sweet."

"As sweet as you trying to flirt with my girlfriend?" Jason mentioned, resulting in a pause in the call.

"Um... Jason, I have a girlfriend." I guessed everyone except Jason knew that.

"Hehe. Sorry bro. I can get jealous easily..."

"Oh don't you?!" Brooke teased. She suddenly burst out laughing, and I could only think that Jason was tickling her.

"So the Fluffy Birds?" I brought up the team name once again.

"Fine," Carter gave in.

"I knew you would say yes. You always do. At least to me cause I'm awesome."

"Don't get cocky, Fluffy. Or else I may divorce you."

"You wouldn't!" I shouted, even though I knew she was playing with my emotions like a regular girl not to mention my wife. But Carter's only response was a hearty laugh. Choco, Jason, and Brooke laughed along.

Ian POV

"What's up yo?!" Lachlan addressed us in his Australian accent. The rest of us were dead quiet. "Is anything wrong?"

"Well we kinda have Allison in our call." Zee groaned.

Allison blatantly replied, "If you want me out, all you have to do is tell me and I'll leave."

"No," Lachlan told her, "Don't leave. No one in the Cool Kid Club should be mean to anyone else. Especially another cool kid."

"Thanks," Allison mumbled, "Zee just doesn't like me cause I kidnapped Fia all those months ago."

Zee added onto Allison's list of many bad actions. "And you helped in the murder of one of Ray's friends. And you helped Caleb manipulate Ray. And you killed Johnny. And..."

"Zee please," I interrupted, "We need all of the man-power we can get during the game, and Allison and Kohta will both help. Listen to me and Lachlan."

"Alright. I'm still keeping my eye on you, Allison."

"What's our name gonna be?" Kohta questioned.

"Cool Kid Club. Obviously," Lachlan stated.

Tyler POV

"Vicky!" Quentin shouted, "So glad that you of all people are in our group!"

"I've heard that you're good at PVP," Jade mentioned.

"Settle down. Settle down," Vikk calmed us down as if he were the leader of the team. "I say we call the team LogDotFishMC123."

"Why does it always have to be fish?!" Quentin growled, tired of the mudkip jokes.

"Cause everyone loves you, kippy," Sapphire reassured her boyfriend.

"You do know how to cheer someone up." At Quentin's reply, Sapphire giggled in her innocent high pitched voice.

"LogDotFishMC123? Really?" I asked, "Isn't that a bit too... cliche?"

"Cliche as in...?" Vikk waited for an answer.

"Combining our Minecraft names?"

"If that were the case, Sapphire and I would be left out," Jade commented.

"That is true," Caleb added a statement to Jade's response.

I rolled my eyes. "Fine. LogDotFishMC123 it is... unless anyone aka Quentin has anything to say..."

"Nope." Quentin probably didn't see the problem occurring. Vikk was trying to take control of my team. No way I would let him.

Ty POV

"Ha. It's funny there's two Tyler's," Brotato commented as soon as the call begun.

"Haha haha hilarious," I sarcastically replied.

"Ya got a problem?"

I shook my head even though Brotato couldn't see. "Nah brah. You're cool."

"So we're gonna win this Hunger Games or not?!" Preston exclaimed. It didn't surprise me that Preston would be self-confident in his possible win.

"What's gonna be the team name?" Crystal asked.

"Better not be Furry Things," I grumbled, smirking behind the microphone.

"I'm pretty sure Jerome will do something like that," Megan told me, "Let's make it original this time. Cough cough Tyler."

"Hey hey," Brotato defended himself, "Janet and Her Lunatics was a great team name!"

Preston burst out laughing, "I remember that. Let's be the Hunger Deans Squad cause I know Ray and Mitch will pick that one."

"No," Brotato and I said at the same time.

"You can read my mind," Brotato chuckled, "I knew we were long-lost twin brothers, Ty."

"In your dreams," I sarcastically retorted, "You wish you were my brother."

"I figured out our name!" Megan shouted, "The Long-Lost Ones!"

"Ah," Preston responded with a compliment, "I like it! The others don't stand a chance!"

"Long live the Long-Lost Ones!" I yelled, "We shall win the Hunger Games!"

Ray POV (The Hunger Deans Squad)

PeteZahHutt, another Nexus admin, set up the arena so that it was playable with 25 people instead of the usual 24. Really what he did was squeeze Mitch and I onto the same platform. When I noticed that Mitch's character was in my body, I laughed.

"How did this happen?" I chuckled.

Noah noticed too and laughed along. "Two peas in a pod. Mitchay is so cute."

"What's Mitchay?" I questioned, confused on what Noah meant.

"Mitchay is the ship name all of the fans are coming up with. They absolutely adore you and Mitch together. I do too to be honest."

"Aw so adorable, Noah," Fia growled.

"Not my fault. Blame the BajanCanadian fans."

Within seconds, Adam spoke out the countdown, "Ten. Nine. Eight. Seven. Six. Five. Four. Three. Two. One. Here we go!"

The chat was spammed with gl as the players were released. Most of our competitors ran to spawn, but Noah brought up the idea of finding outer chests before the others.

"Hurry up!" Adam shouted as we scattered through the forest. I stuck close to Mitch and Noah as we entered the area near the glass dome. Fia instantly found a cluster of six chests and we all got chain and leather armor, wood swords. There were also iron ingots, a couple sticks, one bow, and a limited amount of arrows.

"We were lucky," Mitch explained, "Most Hunger Games don't end up like this in the first minute. Takes a few to get any good loot."

I spotted another chest in the trees. Without second thought of alerting my teammates, I sprinted over to the chest and stole the items inside, including an iron sword and some baked potatoes.

NSG Ssundee: Hai Ray. I see you.

NSG supersmashgalray: Uh... How?

NSG Cazzie2.0: The trees Ray. The trees.

NSG BajanCanadian: Stay away from her, Ian.

Mitch obviously found out about my disappearance, "Ray, where are you?"

"I was looking at a chest and then Ian typed in the chat..." I quickly replied, not wanting to mess with Ian's team. They were extremely sneaky and I couldn't fight all five of them alone.

"Come back to where we were before. I'll pick you up and we'll get back to the others. Noah, Fia, Adam, you okay with that?"

"Yeah," Noah told Mitch, "As long as you're not killed."

As soon as I ran back to the area with the chests, the chat blew up.

"Seems like Ian's team found someone else to fight," Adam mentioned, "LogDotFish123 is eliminated now."

"And Zee has dominated," Fia continued.

"We definitely have to look out for the Cool Kid Club because Zee and Lachlan make a deadly pair," Noah added.

The five of us continued scouring for chests. Eventually we all got mostly iron armor, stone swords, and a bunch of iron ingots in case we found a crafting table or returned to spawn.

"How about we go to spawn and take over?" Mitch suggested.

"Why?" Adam queried.

"Cause the crafting table is there and we could all get iron swords. We can also defend ourselves easier."

"Can't we just stay safer in the trees where it's harder to find us?" Fia asked, sticking to her common sense as usual.

"I agree with Fia," Noah replied, "If needed, we can go to spawn. But right now... I wouldn't recommend it."

"Since when were you good at the Hunger Games?" Mitch questioned, seeing his position of authority being overtaken by Noah.

"Since forever. I've always been good. I'm a bit rusty right now..."

Mitch cut him off. "I'm the leader and I say let's go to spawn."

"Mitch," I begged, "Come on. Noah's right."

"Fine."

NSG ASFJerome: meet us at spawn n00bs

NSG NinjaMaster220: Meet at spawn or else

"Good thing we didn't go to spawn," Noah explained and walked in front of the group. Fia, Adam, Mitch, and I followed behind, "We could've been killed by Jerome's team."

"Geez," Adam chuckled, "Preston is mad."

"Of course," I giggled, "My brother always gets mad when he loses."

"Keep on going," Noah reminded the team, "We don't wanna run into the Cool Kid Club or The Fluffy Birds."

"I think we're the only team with five people still in," Mitch pointed out.

"You're right. That's a good thing though," Fia stated.

Somehow we ended up at spawn, face to face with the remaining Fluffy Birds.

NSG ASFJerome: Mitch we meet again

NSG NoahCraftFTW: You said that to Ty before you chopped his guts up.

NSG LilKinny: Does it matter?

NSG SkybornWriterGal: sorta

NSG ASFJerome: We gonna fight or not?

NSG SkytheKidRS: Okay. On the count of three...

NSG SkytheKidRS: Two.

NSG SkytheKidRS: One. Go!

"Come on!" Noah shouted, "We gotta win this for mudda Russia!"

"And the Hunger Deans Squad," I mumbled, hiding a slight grin.

I instantly went into for Brooke. She seemed the weakest and since I was the weakest on my team, we would have a good match. What I didn't notice was that Brooke didn't have a weapon. I killed her before she could ask for a fair fight.

"Ray, watch your back! Jason coming in!" Fia yelled and leaped to my rescue.

"Thanks," I told Fia.

"No prob," she replied and ran over to help Adam with Carter, but they were both taken out when Jerome got into the mix.

Both my team and Jerome's team spun around to find Lachlan, Zee, and Kohta racing at us with diamond swords and full iron armor.

I made a daring move.

The Hunger Deans Squad and the Fluffy Birds took everything they had and fought against the enemy team.

NSG ASFJerome: Fluffy Birds are gone

For the most part, I hadn't gotten into any fights except helping Noah with Kohta. No one had attempted to fight me. That left only me, Mitch, Lachlan, and Zee against each other in death-match.

"Woot woot!" Noah cheered, "Go Ray! You can win this!"

"Yeah! Hunger Deans Squad can win this time!" Fia exclaimed.

NSG BajanCanadian: Wait until d-match?

NSG Cazzie2.0: fine

Moments later, the four of us were teleported into the death-match. Lachlan and Zee were geared up, but Mitch was confident that we would beat them. The death-match in this special game took place on a giant platform in the Nether that dropped down into lava if you fell off. This map was the perfect place for secret plans.

"Ray," Mitch strategized, "You go straight for Zee and knock her off the edge with your fishing rod. I call

little Lachie."

"Go ahead," I told him, "I'll do my best."

Meanwhile, Noah and Adam had created a chant to push us to win. "Let's go HDSQ! Let's go!" Fia only concentrated on Mitch's strategy, hoping it would work.

"Five. Four. Three. Two. One." Noah counted down. "Good luck guys!"

As we planned, I ran straight for Zee. She seemed shocked that I didn't join Mitch in his fight against Lachlan. I easily pushed Zee off with my rod.

NSG Cazzie2.0 burned in lava

At the same time, I noticed Mitch struggling with Lachlan's powerful enchanted diamond sword. How he got the sword? I still don't know. As I hurried to help my teammate and partner, I watched Lachlan knock Mitch off the platform.

NSG BajanCanadian burned in lava

"Ray!" Fia finally shouted, "You can do this!"

Noah and Adam kept on cheering, "Let's go HDSQ! Let's go!"

In real life, I turned my head to face Mitch, who smiled and gave me a thumbs-up. Almost a split second later, I found that Lachlan ran towards my direction.

I backed up and circled around him, trying to keep Lachlan distracted, but that obviously didn't work. Seeing he was too smart for most of my plans, I tried a new trick. Instead of being cautious, I straight up went in for the kill. I couldn't have known until he was dead that Lachlan only had four hearts and no regeneration from fighting Mitch.

I gasped, letting my hand naturally close over my mouth. Mitch leaped up out of his chair, ran to my desk, bent down to my eye level, gently took my hand off of my mouth, and kissed me. I fell into the kiss as if I'd won a gold medal and Mitch was beside me the entire time.

"Woot! Woot!" Fia, Adam, and Noah screamed, "Hunger Deans Squad are champs! Congrats Ray!" They became silent when they realized neither Mitch or I had responded.

After about ten seconds, we released from the kiss. "It was only pure luck that you won," Mitch told me, "But you did it anyways. I love you Ray. I told you there's so much more that you can do."

"I love you too Mitch. And I'm gonna love raising this child with you."

4,000 words! The longest chapter I have ever written! But this super long chapter should help for the delay to come before Chapter 37 comes out. I know there will be a delay so I'm just letting you know beforehand.
