Me: Oh c'mon Kiryu! I said I was sorry!
Kiryu: *turned his head away from the author* Tsk!
Akane: May I asked what's going on?
Crystal: Mcdinh put Kiryu into a dare where he has to play hide and seek, and we ditched him in order to do the requests. Eventually, he found out about it and well...he got pissed off.
Akane: *nods* I see.
Mcdinh: *sigh* Fine, I see how it is. *face the audience* Hello everyone! Welcome Back to Crystallization! I know I said I was going to work on Heart of the Ice, but somehow, I ended up getting stuck, so I'm holding off that one for a while. Sorry for those who read it. Anyway, we're still in the battle between Yusei and Kiryu. Oh, and I'm skipping half of the duel, so everyone should know how it go. So for now, let's continue the story and REV IT UP!
Crystal: Why did you put that quote there?
Mcdinh: I don't know. I kinda feel like saying it. I'm not much of a fan of the dub version of 5Ds anyway.
Crystal: Whatever. Btw, Mcdinh doesn't own Yugioh 5Ds. Only her ocs such as me and Akane. Please enjoy and review! ;)
Chapter 36
"Crow! Crystal!" We turned around and saw Rally, Taka, Blitz and Nervin coming towards us.
"Crow, Crystal, where's Yusei?" Rally asked. Crow pointed toward the flame circuit where the turbo duel was going on.
"Wait! Why is Yusei in a turbo duel?" Blitz asked.
"And who's he dueling against?" Taka added.
"One question at a time you two," I told them. "Yusei is dueling Kiryu."
"What? You mean Kiryu Kyosuke?" Blitz said in surprised. I nodded.
"What's happening down there?" Rally asked frightened.
"We're not sure," Crow answered. "But this flame circuit is no illusion. Yusei is in a Turbo Duel of life-or-death."
The four friends gasped, and stared at the scene.
As the duel was going on, Yusei had trouble dealing with one of Kiryu's ace monster, One-Hundred Eyes Dragon, which is a dark synchro monster and it creeps me out. However, he managed to take it down with Stardust Dragon, and could've knocked out all of Kiryu's life points. However, Kiryu set up a counter effect, which cuts the damage in half. Due to One-Hundred Eyes Dragon's effect, Kiryu was able to pull out a card from his deck.
"Urk!" I felt the sharp pain in my head, and a shiver in my spine as a card was added to Kiryu's hand. I began to feel nauseous as I felt the dark energy coming out from that card.
"Crystal, are you okay?" Rally asked me worriedly.
"I-I'm fine. Just a headache that's all," I answered and glanced at the field. There's something weird about that card that Kiryu took out.
"That card," Sparkling Crystal dragon appeared next to me, "No doubt, it's the one."
"What's the one?" I whispered. She didn't answered. Two Ghost tokens appeared next to Kiryu after the effect of Effect Translation.
Kiryu laughed maniaclly, "It's show time!" Out through the dark flames, group of in black cloaks appeared. Everyone except Kiryu gasped.
"W-Who are these people?!" Taka stuttered, terrified.
Crow stared at them in shock, "I think these are the people who disappeared from the Satellite!"
"WHAT?!" We shouted in shock.
"Kiryu! What have you done to them?!" Yusei demanded.
Kiryu laughed maliciously, "These will become the sacrifices of Earthbound Immortal, and they will bestow to this card. Now, I'll release both of my Ghost Tokens to bring for the ultimate destruction!"
The tokens disappeared, as well as the souls of the missing people, into the shell-like object device. I can literally hear all those people screaming in pain as they were being sucked in. "I sacrifice all these souls to you...Advent! Earthbound Immortal Ccapac Apu!" Kiryu chanted.
The shell-like object exploded, revealing a giant outline in blue above the field. Yes, when I say a 'giant', I literally do mean a giant like about... calculating height... 80 FEET TALL! All of us were terrified. Taka, Nervin and Blitz clutched onto each other, and shook in fear. Rally ran towards me, and held onto my legs, while I held onto Crow's arm, clattering my teeth.
Back on the field, the giant began to attack Yusei. He quickly send Stardust dragon to block it, but it went straight through its hand clean. Yusei also desperately tried to activate his Scrap-Iron Scarecrow, but it was all in vain.
"Too bad for you, Yusei!" Kiryu shouted. "Earthbound Immortal Ccapac Apu isn't affected by monsters or trap cards. Therefore, he can just attack you directly!"
I gaped out in disbelief. "You got to be kidding me," I muttered.
"Oh no, that means Yusei is in danger!" Rally cried.
I ran my hands to my hair and the mixture between anger and panic started to build up, "Grrrraaahhh! GOD DAMMIT!" The guys backed away from me as I continued screaming, "CAN'T WE DO SOMETHING BEFORE THAT MONSTER SWATS YUSEI AWAY LIKE A BUG!?"
"I won't let that happen to him." Suddenly, my deck flashed, and one of my monster emerged out of it. Crow and I immediately recognized her appearance and let out a gasped.
"Hey Crystal! Isn't that..."
"Sparkling Crystal Dragon!" I shouted. "W-What are you doing?!"
No answer. Instead, she flew across the duel field. "Wait! Come back!" I called out, and tried to follow her. However, Crow grabbed my arm to stop me.
"Crystal! Don't!" he demanded, "You can't go there. Y'know what happens, if you do!"
"Well, I can't just sit here, and let my dragon go like this!" I argued. Before Crow can protest, I slapped his hand away, and headed to my duel runner. I put on my helmet, and drove down hill, ignoring the guys calling my name. As I follow my crystallized dragon, I managed to jumped over the flame circuit, which surprisingly, I didn't feel my soul being sucked into the Earthbound Immortal Ccapac Apu. However, I glanced at Sparkling Crystal Dragon, and gaped out in disbelief.
She flew in front of Yusei, and send out a shining barrier of light, blocking Ccapac Apu's attack. The giant flinched from Sparkling Crystal's light, and backed away. Kiryu stared at my dragon in shock. Good news is, Yusei managed to swerve away after my dragon defended him and stop the duel, meaning that there were no result. Bad news is...well...his runner gave out, and send him flying. And the other bad news, for me, was that, because of the impact between Sparkling Crystal Dragon's and Ccapac Apu's attack, it created a crack on the ground beneath me. I did swerve away from the crack, and put on the brakes on my duel runner to stop, which wasn't really a good idea, because my duel runner flipped over, and I was sent flying as well.
I let out a scream, and soon skidded across the ground, landing on my right arm. The intense, burning pain began to spread across my arm, and I bit my lips to hold off my cry. I got up, and clutched my upper arm, feeling a wet, sticky liquid, which I was assuming it was blood, and looked across the field. There, I saw Yusei laying on the ground, moaning in pain.
"Yusei!" While holding on to my injured arm, I quickly ran and knelled down to Yusei. "Yusei! Are you okay? Hang in there!"
Yusei groaned in response. I checked on him and found a piece of a metal shard pierced through his abdomen. He began to breathe heavily, and cold sweats began to poured out of his fore head.
"Oh no..Yusei," my voice vibrated. I carefully made him laid on his back, and wipe the cold sweats off his head. Suddenly, a strong grip wrapped around my injured arm, and I screamed in pain. I was forced to stand up, and pulled away from Yusei, listening to an angry, familiar voice through my ear.
"God dammit Chris!" Kiryu yelled at me, digging his fingers through my injured arm. "Why did you and your dragon have to come up, and force this duel to an end?!"
"Ow...Kiryu, that hurts! Let go of me!" I smacked the Dark Signer across the face, which made him let go of my arm, and stumble backwards. Suddenly, I felt the pain in my arm again. Not from the injury I had earlier, but more of a gorging pain on my lower arm. As I clutched on to it, it began to glow bright red.
"Urrgh...what is this pain?" I muttered. I rolled up my sleeve and gasped. On my right arm, was a glowing red mark, shaped like a star, "What the heck?"
Kiryu stared at my mark in shock, "That mark...What kind of mark is that?"
"Don't ask me, because I don't know!" I spoke back, and glanced back at the mark. Sparkling Crystal Dragon went towards me, protectively surrounding me from Kiryu. Suddenly, she touched my injured arm with the tip of her nose, creating a barrier of crimson light. I felt a soothing, warm feeling inside me, and less burning pain from my arm. Swarming lights surrounded me, and then soon disappeared in a flash. When I look down, I noticed the pain stopped, and the wounds on my arm were gone. I stared at the results in amazement, and whispered, "Amazing..."
"Tsk...I'm not sure what happened, but whatever," Kiryu hold up the card, returning Ccapc Apu to it, then making the flame circuit and my Sparkling Crystal Dragon disappeared. He then, tried to head toward Yusei, but I blocked his path to prevent that. Hey, I could care less if he's stronger than me. I can take him down anytime I want for hurting Yusei like this. Kiryu smirked at me and snickered, "Of course, you would take his side Chris! Though, be kind enough for me and tell him that he must live off in disgrace and terror until we meet again!"
He mounted his duel runner, and drove off. I glanced at my arm again, noticing that the star mark was gone. I sighed, thinking it's not important now and knelled down to Yusei again. Soon, I saw the others coming up here.
"Crystal!" Rally and the others ran up to me. "We saw what happen! Are you alright? Is Yusei okay?"
"I'm fine," I said. "But, he isn't."
Rally and his friends saw the shard on Yusei's abdomen, and gasped.
"This looks bad," Taka's voice trailed off.
"Yusei..." Rally reached to the raven hair duelist, but was stopped by a familiar voice.
"Don't touch him!" Crow shouted, and pulled up his duel runner. "Hurry up, and put him into my duel runner, so I can take him to Martha's. He needs to have a surgery, and fast!"
We nodded, and carefully put the injured Yusei on Crow's duel runner. "You coming, Crystal?" Crow asked.
"If my duel runner is still working," I went toward my duel runner, and gasped. Part of my frame was smashed up by the rocks. I mentally broke down into tears. I'd just had this thing fixed.
I checked the engine, realizing it was still working, and sighed in relief. At least it can still run. I carefully mounted on my duel runner, and slowly drove behind Crow. "I'm good."
Crow nodded, and glanced at his four friends, "We'll meet you guys at Martha's house. Be sure to get there safely."
They nodded. Crow revved his engine, and shot out like a bullet as I drove behind him. Through the mist of cold black fogs, we finally made it.
Crow mounted his bike, and headed to the door, shouting Martha's name, while I follow the same procedure. I knelled to his Blackbird, and gently squeezed Yusei's hand.
"Yusei...It'll be okay," I said softly tears falling from my eyes. "Just hang in there."
"Oh dear," I heard a familiar, motherly voice above and looked up.
"Martha!" I slightly gasped out her name. She saw the blood coming out from Yusei's wounds, and shouted back inside the house for help.
"You two go ahead inside, and wait," she told Crow and me. "We'll handle the rest."
We obeyed and head inside. Crow and I stood in the hallway silently, waiting for the others to come...and waiting for Yusei's recovery.
Mcdinh: And that's that. Though, I feel like I rushed a bit.
Crystal: Well, you can always come back and edit. I would like to see how this story will process.
Mcdinh: I do too. Because I'd decided to put my own twists on it!
Crystal: And that is?
Mcdinh: Can't tell you because...well...you would probably kill me if I did. Oh well, to the readers, R&R.
