"Jackson…" Sarah touched Jack's cheek, "Is that…really you?"
Jack grabbed his mother's hand and nodded, "Yeah mom," he said smiling softly, "It's me."
"But…how," Sarah asked tearfully, "And why are you just now coming back?"
Jack smiled sadly at his mother, "Mom…" he looked at Olivia, "Ollie…it's…complicated…"
"That's putting it lightly," Merida stated, "So do we get to meet your mom or what?"
"Merida…" Hiccup hissed.
Jack laughed lightly, "Mom, these are my friends that I met while I was…gone," he said, "This is the ever impatient Merida, also very short tempered," Jack dodged a punch from Merida and laughed, "And this is her…I guess fiancé would be the best term for now, Hiccup-"
"JACK!" Merida and Hiccup blushed while yelling, "We don't like each other like that!"
Jack laughed, "And this is Rapunzel, a very sweet, tenderhearted, but brave hearted girl," he finished, "And don't freak out, but there's Hiccup's pet Night Fury in the front yard."
"What?" Sarah looked out the door in shock.
"Calm down," Jack laughed, "He's totally trained," Jack poked Hiccup with his staff causing the boy to double over slightly, "Hiccup here is a dragon trainer."
Merida was still blushing from what Jack said about her and Hiccup and Hiccup was rubbing his chest, "That hurt," he stated.
Jack laughed; "Sorry…" he said smiling.
Sarah smiled at Jack, but then frowned slightly, "Jack," Jack turned to his mother, "I want to know where you went," Jack winced at his mother's 'you're not going anywhere until you explain' voice.
Jack rubbed his neck, "It's…hard to explain," he said softly.
"Try," Sarah said.
Jack sighed, "The truth is…I…I really did die at the lake," Sarah and Olivia went wide eyed, "But the Man in the Moon brought me back to life, but not as me. As an immortal spirit named Jack Frost. Truth be told, I'm actually 317-years-old. Usually my hair is snow white, my eyes are ice blue, and my skin is pale," Jack looked at his mother, "I am Winter itself."
Sarah was shocked. She knew when her son was lying and he most definitely was not, "The Man in the Moon chose me to be the Protector of Winter, Knight of the Wind, and Guardian of Fun because I saved Olivia and died while doing it," Jack looked at his mother then his sister, "I protect the children of the world from The Boogieman along with Merida, Hiccup, Rapunzel, Santa Claus, the Easter Bunny, Tooth Fairy, and Sandman. I honestly don't know how I'm back here or why I'm human, but I know I can't stay forever," Jack closed his eyes, "I lost my memories when the Man in the Moon brought me back and I only recently got them back. For 300 years I was invisible, no one could see or touch me," Sarah covered her mouth and briefly wondered if she had walked straight through her own son, "When I finally got my memories back, all I wanted was to see you and Ollie again," Jack looked at his mother, "But I had more important things to do and other people to protect, just like I did with Olivia. I missed you both so much," Jack gripped his staff quickly before smiling, "But…I can honestly say that I'm happy. I found a new family with my friends and the Guardians."
Rapunzel was crying and Merida was rubbing her eye muttering about dirt getting in her eye. Sarah hugged her son, "Jackson," she whispered holding him tight, "You make me proud," Jack's heart flipped, "Not just for what you do now, but for saving your sister, protecting her, and being there for her. For helping me-us-through your father's death. I understand, Jack, you weren't just born to help us for only a certain number of years. You were born to help everyone for eternity. I love you, Jack."
Jack had tears in his eyes and hugged his mother tightly, "Mom…" he said, "Thank you."
Suddenly, wind surrounded Sarah and Jack, but they didn't really notice, but Rapunzel quickly pulled Olivia away for fear of something happening to her. Jack's hair turned back to snow white and his skin grew paler, but no one could see his eyes because they were still closed with tears. His whole entire outfit also changed. His shirt changed to a collared, dark blue, long sleeved shirt with fancy ice and frost designs all down the chest, sleeves, and collar. A hood that could be removed was over his shoulders and kept on by a green and gold gem. You could also see that he had a light blue shirt underneath it. He wore the same style pants that he used to wear before his friends took him to the mall, but these were less old looking and slightly lighter in color. And Jack was once again barefoot, as he was for 300 years. Surprisingly, his light blue friendship necklace remained and sat on top of the gem that held his hood on.
"Whoa…" Merida said.
Hiccup and Rapunzel just nodded. Jack and Sarah finally broke away and the wind was just a light breeze now, "Jack?" Sarah asked, but then smiled, "I love you."
Jack smiled, "I love you too, mom," he said, "I really do."
Suddenly, Merida, Toothless, Rapunzel, and Hiccup began to disappear, "Guys!" Jack yelled, but then noticed that, he too, was disappearing.
"Jack!" Olivia yelled and quickly hugged her brother before she couldn't anymore.
Jack bent down to his sister, "Ollie," he said, "Know that nothing was your fault. I want you to move on and know that whenever snow falls…that I love you."
Olivia had tears in her eyes, but was smiling. Finally, Olivia couldn't touch Jack anymore, "Jack!" Olivia yelled when he fully disappeared.
Gothal was thrown into Pitch with Flynn breathing heavily and holding his arm that held his sword, "You little brat," Gothal hissed.
Flynn stood his ground, North had fallen to the nightmares, so only Flynn and Kelly remained, but Kelly was slowing down, her blood loss finally getting to her head. Flynn was having difficulty standing up, "How much…longer do we…have to keep this up!" Kelly yelled as she barely blocked every blow thrown at her.
"Do I look like the moon?" Flynn yelled and sent a fire and lightning attack at Kelly's parents causing them to be thrown back.
Kelly coughed up some blood, "Kelly!" Flynn ran over.
"I'm fine," Kelly said, "Been through worse…but I'm very lightheaded right now…"
Flynn caught Kelly as she stumbled, "I gottcha," Flynn stated then noticed the Kelly's parents, Gothal, and Pitch had surrounded them, "And then there were two…" Pitch smirked, "And one is still human…"
Kelly coughed up more blood and moaned dizzily, "See what happens when you go against the family, Kelly," Kelly's mother asked deadpanned, "One does not fall in love."
Flynn blinked and Kelly glared at her mother, "Says you," Kelly spat, "Love is something wonderful and you killed him. I will never come back, I will never kill again, and I swear I won't let you kill any one close to those lights!"
Kelly's parents glared "Try and stop us," Kelly's father said.
Kelly glared right back, "I will…or I'll die while doing it!" she yelled.
Suddenly, Kelly began to glow causing everyone to take a step back, even Flynn. Kelly looked at herself as her lightheadedness disappeared and her wounds healed. Suddenly, she heard the Man in the Moon speak in her head, "Kelly Jenkins, Guardian of Love, your want to protect the children's lives allows you to hold the power: Death. You do not kill unless you see fit. Humans die on their own. Your job will be to go over the dead's life and decide if they deserve a second chance," Kelly now wore a long sleeved black dress that covered her feet with a hood on the back, "You are second chances, death, and reincarnation. You are the New Generation Grim Reaper…" a gray scythe with a long black handle appeared in Kelly's hands and she gripped it tightly.
Kelly's hair was now a long silver color and her eyes opened revealing light pink eyes, "Oh…heck…" Pitch said.
Kelly glared at her parents, "This ends now…" she said adjusting her hold on the scythe in her hands, "You put the children of the world's happiness in jeopardy…and you feel no guilt. Your life ends here."
Flynn went wide eyed and quickly shut his eyes as Kelly swung the scythe, "Open your eyes, idiot," Flynn did so and was shocked; no blood?
"I don't like blood, remember?" Kelly stated, "I just sent them to the next world where they belonged."
"Whoa…" Flynn said shocked then glared at Pitch and Gothal, "Looks like we're even again," he held up his sword.
"I may not be able to kill immortals," Kelly said getting in fighting stances, "Or dark people like you witch, but I can make you feel pain like you dying."
Pitch and Gothal glared, but attacked with their nightmares and dark magic.
