Mayrui looked shocked.

Kenpachi stared at Nnoitra like he was insane. "What?"

"Well…" Nnoitra hated to say it, but, "I was wondering how long you two have been going out. It's fine if-"

"What give you that idea?!" Mayrui cried, not upset, just shocked by the sudden inquiry.

"Well…" Nnoitra wasn't sure if Soul Society was as parallel as it seemed. "But I'm the strongest Espada and I go out with Szayel who just happened to be a scientist like you, Clown… so, it was kinda a valid question."

"I'll say so." Kenpachi laughed, liking the way this Mantis thought. "But no. We don't. I am Zaraki Kenpachi and this is… I can never pronounce your first name, is Mayrui. Captains of the Eleven and Twelfth Companies of Soul Society. And who may I ask are you?"

"Don't you already know?" Nnoitra asked, putting the phone holder back where it belonged on the counter.

"Yes." Mayrui said, fixing his gold mask his was wearing that make him look like a lion with a purple mane. "But we thought we might give you the chance to introduce yourself."

"I can roll with that. Just a sec." Nnoitra put the phone back up to his ear. "Hey Greg, it's all cool now. So, do you mind if I hang up?"

"Don't have the desire to hurt yourself anymore?"

"Nah… not right now and if I do, I'll talk to Telsa, okay?"

"Yes, that sounds wonderful. Talk to you later then."

"Yeah, goodbye, Greg." With that, Nnoitra hung up and turned his attention back to the Soul Reapers. "I'm Nnoitra Gilga, Second Espada here to be carted home. And do you know if the family feud is over?"

"What?" Kenpachi said.

"Oh, nothing… I think'll make one more call before we leave. I have to let Szayel know that I'm headed his way."

"Good idea." Mayrui agreed, knowing that his daughter, Nemu would murder him if he just up and disappeared. "But are you sure it's a good thing to make a long distance call from China?"

Nnoitra raised an eyebrow. "What? You mean, I'm in China?"

"Yeah…" Kenpachi muttered. "We were in Hong Kong when Harribel called. We were researching some kinda frog and now we are…" Kenpachi picked up the phonebook behind the printer center desk, "I can't read it."

"You can't?" Nnoitra gasped, "But it's so close to Japanese."

"Nah. It's not. You must know Mandarin or something."

"Or, " Mayrui suggested, "Japanese makes you confused and this makes sense. Because the Japanese Kanji came from Chinese Kanji."

"So I guess Szayel was right when he accused me of being some kind of Ancient Chinese earrior." Nnoitra laughed to himself, gathering strange looks from the present company. "And you two, I have to call him. I can't leave him to cry, can I? And this isn't even on my bill."

Kenpachi shrugged. The Espada had a point. "Go for it."

"Great. Just a sec." Nnoitra picked up the phone and quickly dialed Szayel's cellphone and he picked up on the second ring. "Hi, Szayel."

"…Nnoitra?" A small voice asked on the other end.

"Yeah, it's me." Nnoitra sighed as he heard the sounds of crying.

"I... I am so mad at you!" Szayel finally managed to say a few minutes later. "You stupid ass! I…love you so much and you had the nerve not to listen to me! I… I am so glad you're okay and when you get back, I… I don't know what I'll do with myself. Telsa and I here have been trying to piece our lives together and now you call!"

"I mean a lot to you, don't I, Szayel?"

"Of course you-hey! Why are you using sarcasm with me?! I didn't think you'd come back alive, you…most wonderful thing in all the world!"

"I…I am sorry." Nnoitra said.

"I am glad you are!" Szayel was so… what was he feeling? Relief? Joy? Anger? Euphoria? All at once? "Because, you are in so much good trouble! Telsa has used all of the tissue in my hotel room and your disappearance caused me to stoop to new lows!"

"Lows, like… what?"

"….like crying on my stupid brother's shoulder! How dare you!"

Nnoitra froze. What did he just hear? "Um… okay. So, have you too talked things out?"

"Yeah, thanks to your stupid idea! Yylfordt wouldn't shut up and go to the F**K to sleep and so, I had to talk. Thanks a lot. Now, we are on better terms. We don't adore one another, but thanks to your stunt, Telsa pledged his service to me and Yylfordt actually played the tissue box holder for the past six hours! Not to mention that I think that the lobby is flooded and that no one has a dry shoulder for me to cry on! We are all fine here. Now get the hell home so I can kiss you again!"

"All right, dear. I will."

"And no damn detours! I want you right home this minute!"

"Okay. We can do." Nnoitra said back. "And I love you."

"I don't think those words are enough to explain my feelings for you," Szayel admitted. "But I'll tell you that I love you too. See you soon."

"You too." With that, Nnoitra hung up and Mayrui put the other phone back on the holder.

"He likes you lots."

"You were listening in, Clownface! How dare you!" Nnoitra cried, gesturing for Kenpachi to do something, but the captain only shrugged again.

"AHH!" Nnoitra leapt off the counter and slapped the scientist across the face, sending him flying into the nearest display. "You are so rude! I can see why no one would ever go out with you!" He was about to nail Mayrui in the face when Kenpachi yanked him backwards.

"Hey, there. Cool it. Mayrui is a snoop by heart. No use in trying."

"Well, he'd better get a beating for listening in on my personal conversation with my husband!"

"Ah.. He will…" Kenpachi reached over and pulled of Mayrui's mask, revealing the normal human underneath. "Now, you won't get it back until we get to London."

"Hey!" Mayrui grabbed the nearest paper bag and put it over his head. "I'm never talking to you again, Kenpachi, evil scum…"

"You know…" Nnoitra said to his two escorts as they walked through the busy streets outside the office store towards a spirit gate. "I know Szayel said no detours, but don't you think he'd like…Oh… wait.. He wouldn't like flowers."

"He wouldn't?" Kenpachi was sure that if he had a woman, he would bring her flowers all the time.

"Nah…" Nnoitra snickered at their rather shocked faces. "He wouldn't. 'Cause he doesn't really have a sense of smell anymore. So, maybe I should….Oh, yeah… He doesn't taste much either. Now that I think about it… I kinda regret removing the antennas….Anyhow, maybe… a painting or something. And something nice for Telsa too. Maybe a new nose. He's gonna need one. I know it. So, since I can't make up my mind, let's just go home."

"Good idea." Kenpachi glanced behind him at Mayuri who was no longer staggering around as he poked holes in his paper bag he now wore over his head. "And you aren't getting your mask back until you apologize."

"Aw… but… it was such a heart wrenching conversation…"

"Mayrui…Do I have to tell Yamamoto about all of your projects?"

'No, no. Okay. Hollow, I'm sorry."

"I'm not in the mood to bargain." Nnoitra sighed, taking a left at the next street. "You're forgiven, but you don't get your mask back until we get to London. That's your punishment you, snoop. And are we there yet? Because I'm getting rather tired as I've walked almost all day."

"Just around the corner." Kenpachi took the lead and lead the two to a large doorway that was made of white light. "And here we are. A spirit gate that can take us right to London with a little walk."

"I'm there." Mayrui rushed inside, leaving Nnoitra to stare at the portal skeptically. "You sure it won't shred me to pieces?"

"Donno. I forgot you're an Arancarr."

"Okay…I'm not even going to try it right now…" Nnoitra raised a hand and Garganta slide wide open to his command. "I'm going this way and, would you come with me. Nelliel's out for my head, or so I think she would be."

"It is safe for me?" Kenpachi asked, reaching a hand in the Spirit gate and dragging Mayrui out by the collar of his white robe. "We won't die in there, will we?"

"Nah. Not as long as you're with me."

"You'd better be right." Kenpachi stated, tossing Mayrui inside the gateway first before walking inside himself. "Now, how do we get to London from this dark cave?"

Nnoitra stepped inside and shut the entry, making both Soul Reapers a little nervous. "Um, we just go… this way."

"That doesn't look like anywhere." Mayrui stated, seeing nothing but purple haze."And how do you know it goes to London?"

"Because I do!" Nnoitra snapped, pointing into to darkness where he needed to go. "We hollows have instincts that you Soul Reapers don't. That's how we find our way away around this place. It essentially a giant circle! Now, this way!"

He turned and began to march away, leaving the two Soul Reapers to catch up with him.
