Taken

Wendy used an umbrella to walk through the pouring with her feline companion. They just finished grocery shopping for themselves and talked on the way back to Fairy Hills.

"I still don't see why you want to cook that ruffian ramen? Besides, Mira usually cooks it for him at the guild." Carla was suspicious of Wendy's motives and already had a feeling why she wanted to make Naruto ramen. "Don't tell me you're…." She didn't get a chance as Wendy shouted at her indignantly.

"I told you it's not like that!" She blushed at Carla's implication. "He helped us out and I just wanted to thank him. That's all." She retained her blush as Carla didn't buy it.

"Sure, whatever you say." 'She's fallen for him, I guess she could do worse.' Carla saw Wendy stop and saw her stare down a masked man, revealed to be Mystogan. Carla brought out her claws, thinking of Wendy's safety. 'Is he an enemy?'

"I'm sorry, but do I know you?" 'He feels familiar, but I haven't seen him before, that much I know.' Wendy was being careful and took a small step back after realising why his voice was familiar. "Wait, that voice, I know it." Carla was also on guard.

"It's good to see you again, Wendy. I'm glad you're okay." He surprised her a little with his knowledge of her name. "I wish it was under better circumstances." Mystogan took off his mask and head cover to reveal his true face. Wendy immediately dropped her Umbrella, with Carla standing defensively in front of Wendy.

"Jellal!" Both were shocked to see the man whom joined forces with dark guilds in front of him. However, unlike before, Jellal possessed a remorseful face.

"I thought you left with that woman during our battle with the Oracion Seis?" Carla was being careful around him, though she slightly confused Jellal until he recalled the news he heard about Fairy Tail defeating the Oracion Seis and the entire Nirvana incident.

"That was a different man, I am Jellal but not the one you met during your mission. When I came to this world, I didn't know much, so I told you my name was Jellal. Here, I am Mystogan, S-Class wizard of Fairy Tail" Jellal turned back to shocked Wendy. "I'm sorry that I left you alone, I wish that I could've taken you with me." Wendy's eyes widened as she began to recall the day Jellal left her with Master Roubal.

"Y-You're him! You're the Jellal who saved me!" Wendy began to let tears loose as she ran and hugged Jellal. "Y-You came back!" She topped hugging him as he patted the top of her head, her tears mixed with the rain drops.

"You expect me to believe that you're a different person from our mission? I'm not buying it!" Carla did not trust the person in front of them, though Jellal understood her feelings towards him.

"I understand why you are wary of me, however, I do not have much time to explain what's going on. I can tell you that I am an ally, I know of your origins, that you're from Edolas." This shocked Carla, whom wanted to know how he knew about Edolas, but Jellal spoke before she had the chance to demand answers. "Time is of the essence, at any moment Magnolia will disappear. You must run, get out of here while you still have the chance."

"D-Disappear, what do you mean by that!?" Wendy was greatly confused by what Jellal meant. "What about the guild?" Jellal simply looked away from Wendy.

"Unfortunately, it is too late for them, they'll be captured soon." Jellal was not making any sense to Wendy.

"You're not making any sense! What's going to happen to the guild!?" Wendy was frustrated, only because of her worry for her guild, she had already lost her old one and she wasn't going to lose her new family. Suddenly, she felt something strange in the air as the rain stopped around Magnolia Town. "What's going on?" She saw light orbs come out of the ground slowly until they picked up in speed. 'The ethernano, it's being absorbed into the sky!' Wendy saw that a rift was taking in the ethernano from the environment.

"This is why you need to get out of here, that rift is caused by a device known as an Anima that steals the magic power from the environment and turns it into lacrima." Jellal took out his staves and made hand signs. The staves summoned a golden magic circle and released a blast that close the rift. "You must leave, there will be nothing left here. Forget about the guild for now." Jellal's words had the opposite effect as Wendy ran towards the guild instead. 'Oh no!'

'She's heading towards the guild!' Carla went after Wendy, with Jellal sighing in disappointment.

'She definitely has the spirit of a Fairy Tail wizard.' He looked up as the rainfall resumed. 'Maybe that's what we need. Dragon Slayer Magic is special in Edolas and I could feel that her magic was still inside her body instead of being taken by that rift.' Suddenly, he heard footsteps and the splashes they caused he turned to see the person behind him, a shocked look on that person's face.

"Jellal!" Naruto had arrived, his expression changing to that of rage. "You bastard!" Naruto had already closed the gap and grabbed Jellal by the cloth, only for Jellal to free himself and get behind Naruto, holding him in a full-nelson hold. "This won't hold me!" Naruto used his strength to break through and forced Jellal to jump back.

"Wait Naruto! I'm a different Jellal!" Naruto was not listening to Jellal and looked ready to unleash his magic.

"That's enough Naruto!" A familiar voice prevented Naruto from releasing his rage on Jellal. He turned to the side, with Jellal also facing the same direction to see their guild master with a disappointed look on his face.

"Master!" "Gramps!" As soon as Jellal called Makarov master, Naruto looked at him.

'He called Gramps master.' Naruto was now in deep thought until he recalled what Natsu and Erza told him. He hit his right fist on his open palm with a comical expression. "Ah! You're Mystogan! Erza and Natsu mentioned seeing your face when Laxus was trying to take over the guild!" He then chuckled and scratched his cheek with his finger. "Sorry about attacking you, that was my bad." His words just made the two sigh.

"Forgetting Naruto's stupidity for now." Makarov said with Naruto giving the old man a glare. "I felt it earlier, it seems those rifts began appearing more frequently. Your old man is getting desperate." Naruto was confused and wanted to know what they were talking about, but they ignored him for now.

"Yes, I'm afraid it's too late for the city right now, I can't prevent the Anima from taking them." Jellal's words were breaking Makarov's heart, however, Makarov caught what he said.

"Now? You mean there's a way to save everyone even after they are absorbed and turned into lacrima? How?" Makarov was surprised, but it gave him hope. Naruto was even more confused and couldn't take being left out anymore.

"Can somebody explain to me what the hell is going on!?" His voice finally got through to them and they sighed.

"You do have a right to know, in fact, in order to save the people of Magnolia and Fairy Tail, we need your power. The power of a dragon." Jellal began to explain the situation.

(Edolas Dungeons)

"Agh!" Naruto winced in pain as he had a small dagger jabbed to the side of his stomach. Erza was twisting it, showing glee in his misery and pain. Naruto was already bloodied and had multiple bruises and cuts.

"Come on! Break!" Erza wanted to completely break Naruto's will and have him submit to her. Instead of begging, Naruto spit on her face, enraging her so much that she kicked his side and broke the hook on the ceiling that held the chains, forcing Naruto to hit the ground. "You're stubborn, though I do wonder what would happen if you lost what made you a man?" Erza pulled out the dagger from Naruto's side and pointed it at him.

"That's enough Knightwalker!" Erza frowned at the person interrupting her fun. Lily had grabbed her wrist and pulled it away from Naruto's direction. "You won't break him, he's too strong for the likes of you." Lily's words only served to anger Knightwalker further. He let go of her wrist and settled for a glare.

"Fine, but I will tell the king about this." Erza turned and left. 'Lily, your usefulness is running out and soon you will join your kind in extinction. A shame too, he was a great sparring partner.'

"That woman is becoming more sadistic by the minute." Lily commented before giving Naruto taking Naruto back to his cell. As soon as Naruto was put in his cell, Lily gave him some ointment and bandages. "That'll help numb the pain and help out with your cuts." Lily motioned to leave, but Naruto began to question him.

"So, you're doing this because of the kindness in your heart?" Naruto replied with a snarky comment but hissed in pain. Lily's expression did not change, he simply stared at the injured man.

"It's up to you if you want to use them, I'm only providing that ointment because of my respect for you." At this, Naruto just laughed until he coughed from the pain of his injuries. "I'm serious, despite being enemies, I respect that you were able to fight the kingdom for this long and abandoned your guild to fight us by yourself. That Knightwalker wants to break you, but I know your type, torture won't work on you. No, even if your body breaks, you possess spirit young one." Lily made his leave, only for Naruto to say a few words to him.

"Thanks, I guess not all of you guys are bad." Lily nodded once at Naruto's words and would've made his way out once more if not for Naruto questioning him. "Let me ask you this, the king's journal mentioned his plans with Extalia. You fine with that? Letting the king turn your entire race into lacrima to sate his mad lust for power and turn your home into ruins." Naruto was picked up by the neck and made the blonde beg for precious oxygen, the enraged Lily giving him a fierce glare.

"Extalia is not my home!" Lily brought Naruto's face closer to his own. "I may respect you, but I'm not above putting you in your place if you step out of line." He dropped Naruto, whom gasped, breathing in oxygen. "Your meal will arrive in an hour, get yourself cleaned up before then." Lily had left and left Naruto on his own.

'Pantherlily….You're eyes were just like mine when I felt abandoned by Fairy Tail. Did your homeland betray you?' Naruto looked around his environment and saw that nothing could help him escape right now, nothing but a suspiciously large mirror at the corner. 'Maybe they'll give me a spoon or something? That way I dig my way out and use that mirror to cover the whole.' Naruto was thinking in a joking manner. 'The mirror does look suspicious, don't tell me somebody used this to escape? That would be too convenient.' Naruto had to drag himself towards that mirror and moved the mirror to see that there was no whole or tunnel that could possibly lead to his freedom. 'Yeah, that only happens in movies.'

(Night Jaeger's Base)

"Did Naruto make all this stuff? It's like that comic with the superhero that dresses up like a bat." Gray looked around and couldn't help but compare it to a well-known comic book hero's cave.

"Nah, Naruto looked like that guy who used bows like Robin Hood, except he wasn't green." Natsu let his opinion be known in a less shy tone of voice then thy were used to. Gajeel told them to focus and get tools that they need to bust out Naruto. That is until he saw something that made him go glow with glee.

"Oh my! Those are Naruto's prototype web shooters!" Now the other two told Gajeel to focus.

"Are we sure that Naruto didn't get his ideas from comic books?" Gray commented, slightly breaking the fourth wall. "Is that a leotard?" Gray saw one of Naruto's costumes, one which was a bodysuit. "How does he pee in this thing?"

"Don't ask me. He doesn't tell me much about his design choices." Gajeel had to bring focus back to their group despite his earlier outburst. They looked around for things they could use to save their ally. 'He is the hero we deserve, I will make sure of it!'

'Don't worry buddy, we'll save you! Not just for your sake but for the one who misses you the most.' An image of Wendy appeared in Gray's mind.

'I might be a weak and spineless, but if I do one good thing in this world, it'll be saving my friend.' Natsu was slowly becoming more like his Earthland counterpart.

(With King Faust)

"More power and take everything this time!" Faust ordered his people to take everything they could, reactivating the Anima.

(Back to Magnolia with Wendy)

'This feeling, it's happening again!' Wendy looked at the sky and saw rifts appear. 'The guild!' Wendy was right in front of the guild, only for a bright light to engulf everything in its path.

Moments later, Wendy opened her eyes to see everything become a cloud-like wasteland, the guild gone, making Wendy fall to her knees in agony.

End. Sorry for the delay and short chapter, but I had no WiFi at home, right now I'm at my other relatives for the internet. I have work in a few minutes, so that's why I cut it short. This one I had trouble, but next will definitely pick up. I was also enjoying Kingdom Hearts 3 for a while, once the WiFi eturns, I will be back on it and then Nier Automata.

Now, I have an important message for MCU fans on whether or not to watch Captain Marvel. For me, it was average and like every MCU solo superhero film, but MCU fans will enjoy it. Go watch it and form your own opinions, do not listen to haters who overreacted and took Brie Larson's comments out of context. If you do not like the film because it wasn't a good film in your then fair enough, but to hate it because of petty reasons, I cannot condone that. Also, excited for Shazam and End Game, more for Shazam this time around.
