As for people who have been complaining about the Team Rocket thing.
I have been foreshadowing their involvement for quite some time.

Chapter 36
The Battle Frontier Strikes! Part II
"Who are you?" The formidable boss of Team Rocket, Giovanni, asked staring at the unwelcome intrusion in the office in Silph Co.
"No one important." The person replied. He was wearing a blue tropical shirt, had sunglasses and curly brown hair.
Yes, it was Scott of the Battle Frontier.
"How did you get in here?" Normally by now, Giovanni would have called his guards to take out the intrusion, but for the fact that this man had gotten in undetected without any show of force, intrigued him. So he'll humor the portly man for now.
Scott smiled. "I walked. Kinda easy to go around a place when you just relax. Take a chill pill and watch the world ignore you."
Giovanni smirked. "I'll cut to the chase then. What do you want?"
Scott scratched his chin. "Just to talk. You got a pretty nice set up. Have you been planning this takeover with Silph Co for a while?"
This was a dangerous game, however there was no sense in withholding this information as everyone in Saffron City and probably the Kanto Region probably know that Silph Co and by extension this city was under their control. "Yes, this plan was in progress for around several years. Lot of strings needed to be pulled and some 'problems' fixed."
"I see. I wonder how much you had to do in order to get your agents as top Silph Co employees. That would take even longer. But what I am most curious is that when did you include the Battle Frontier into all of this?"
The Rocket Boss rose an eyebrow. "That's what you want to know…. Very well. If you must know, they were added as a finalized part. We needed a reason to cast a Battle Royal that Silph Co would be interested in funding. We can't use regular trainers as that is basically the Pokemon League and we didn't want the Elite Four of the Kanto region to interfere with us. Then we randomly found the Battle Frontier through one of them is a trainer that seems to be a thorn in the side for some of my more… lesser agents. But I digress. Basically, they were an organization that was notable but still lacked the reputation meaning that they needed to something to boost that. We funded the Battle Royal for the Battle Frontier under a different name while Silph Co hosted it. The battles were so intense that everyone including the real guards didn't notice us work behind the scenes. Not only have we successfully kicked the company out of their own building but we also obtained the powerful pokemon that belonged to Battle Frontier and a few other trainers that were stupid enough to try to rescue them."
Scott was frowning hearing this. "So basically, the Battle Frontier was simply unluckily enough to be apart of your plans."
"Indeed." Giovanni said not caring. "And I assume you're the boss, Scott, am I right?"
"Yep. Basically."
"Well, if you are looking for your employee's, I'm afraid they are detained within one of Silph Co's Vaults. Their pokemon are under tight surveillance and contained within a high security room and this building is full to the brim with my Team. Some would call this checkmate."
"You really intend to be this ruthless towards people and Pokemon don't you?"
"They are merely resources. What? You weren't seriously thinking of trying to convince me to change my ways like some cliche story?"
"Nah." Scott shrugged. "I just wanted to rub this in your face."
"What?" Giovanni was confused and tired of this man's prattle almost called for his guards. If not for a loud bass like noise that shook the building.
TTTHHHHUUUUUUUUMMMMMM
"What was that?" The Team Rocket Boss yelled as the building rumbled in displeasure.
"You see, this wasn't a checkmate." Scott said unperturbed by the events around him.
The look in Giovanni's eyes towards the man showed a hint of rage. "You are obviously mad; tha-"
Scott took off his sunglasses to show an expression that anyone hardly sees.
Angry.
"You made a big mistake messing with my crew. Maybe if you picked anyone else you could've gotten away with this, though in the end someone would have stopped you. But now… Now you messed with the wrong people."
The building shook again and from the window of the office you can see an energy field followed by unown hovering around the building at high speeds. Small objects began to act like they didn't have gravity anyone and started to float, and Giovanni's body began to feel lighter and lighter. Small vortexes began to appear on the walls and fog started to appear around the floors with crystals growing randomly.
"How-!"
"See, when you mess with the Battle Frontier, you're messing with both sides. Pokemon and Human. That's who are representing in this world."
Giovanni stared at this man, this man who was the biggest mystery about the Battle Frontier. No records of history, age, birthdate or accomplishments.
"Who are you?"
"Like I said. No one important."
Before Giovanni could call his guards, Scott disappeared.
THUUUUUMMMMBBB
"What's going on?!" Ash yelled over the noise as the building shook, vortexes, fog and crystals began to appear randomly. Admits his panic, Ash thought this was vaguely familiar.
"Keep going! This is Spencer working his mojo!" Noland called over the rumbling noise.
"Really how?" Anabel called. Even though adrenaline rush of what feels like a natural disaster, she couldn't help but wonder how Spencer was doing this?
"I have no idea! I'm a science guy not a magic guy! But whatever it is, it will definitely help somehow!"
"HEY! YOU!" A horde of grunts appeared!
The group halted in their tracks as they were were outnumbered by four more.
The grunts rushed towards the trio readying their pokemon and it looked like it was going to be a nasty fight.
"Unownnnnnn!" Everyone paused at the mysterious charm like noise.
Black shapes began to rush from behind our heroes and head straight toward the Rockets.
"What the-!"
"Quick-"
"Mrrrrr-!" The unown attached themselves to the grunts and flew into them continuing down the hallway through force or psychic energy. At the end a portal appeared taking the grunts to a place not known. Hopefully, it was just simply a place outside the building.
"We need to keep going kids!" Noland called to the startled duo. "We're almost there!"
Most of grunts that had come there way were too distracted by the consuming chaos of the building. It was easy enough to sneak past them. And then finally they reached a rather mechanical looking door.
"Is this it?" Anabel asked, slightly out of breath from the adrenaline running through her. She hated not knowing what was going on and with the emotions of panic with everyone here was causing her own emotions and mind to be burning with over stimulation.
"Let's see." In a flashy motion, Noland a hacked a nearby panel and the doors slid open with a hiss.
Already the trio of Frontier Brains assessed the situation, several Rocket scientist and they didn't notice them enter.
They charged in. Anabel sticking near Noland as his flaking buddy and Ash with Aura Sphere.
The Aura Sphere's hit two of the scientist, instantly KO-ing them. Noland was in a rampage with a single fist and kick to several of the Rocket members each.
In time before they could register, all except the trio, were knocked out.
The room was certainly what you would call a Control Room. Cameras, computers and large server machines with panels and control circuits. Noland obviously knew what he was doing, having already gotten in a chair and put in inputs in the computer at a faster pace than Ash and Anabel could keep up with.
"Alright kids. Hold on to your seat belts"
The group with too many characters than this narrator care to name, had finally found a place that they could keep themselves safe. In the Silph Co Vault/cell that the gym leaders were in. Reggie and Brock had disguised themselves as Rocket Grunts. And the rest were in a deactivated unlocked vault, making a plan.
Jed was sweat dropping as he held a pencil and paper and everyone stared at him.
"So… you do remember the way back right?" Max asked glass glinting and Jaine staring just intensely.
"…."
'I hate my lack short term memory…' A tiny mental Jed was shedding tears of frustration.
"You're an idiot."
"I know…" Real life Jed was also shedding tears at his terrible short term memory. "Dangit! If it's not accurate then it's going to be the best drawn map there is!" He declared with passion before drawing down furiously like a dying man's will.
"That goes against the whole reason to make a map in the first place." Misty muttered shaking her head.
A soft laughter came from beside her. Rudy released a charming smile. "I've forgotten how fun your friends are."
"Ah… yeah. Even in situations like this, you can't help but smile. Keeps the bad feelings away." She admitted, feeling some relief in her heart. Everything has been coiled up so tightly in anxiety that just having a small breather was needed to make sure they won't break under pressure.
"So how has it been going? I mean… you still run a water gym and everything?" He asked awkwardly. It was taking all his will to not blush. Incase anyone needed a reminder, Misty's reappearance had ignited an old crush within him.
But now was not the time for that. He asked the question to ease the obviously distraught girl.
"It's been going pretty well… Though… when we get out of this… I should probably travel more. I really need to step up as a gym leader if I want to keep myself strong…. I've just been relying too much on the past."
Rudy could have sworn he heard a bit of bitterness from her, but he didn't pry. "I see. It's always good to get out of the gym once in a while. I'm thinking myself to go to a new region. I heard Hoenn has a lot of water-types to explore." He smiled while saying that, obviously excited at the aspect.
Misty looked at the man across from her curiously. "If I didn't know any better I would say that you were asking me to journey with you."
"Waa!~" Rudy backed up, his face completely red now and freaked out. "I-I-I Ah! Well Not at first… But-" He cleared his throat. "I don't want to intrude on your person, but it would be nice to have someone to travel with." He said softly.
Now it was Misty's turn to blush but quickly she disregarded it. Still… having someone to travel with new horizon's would be nice. "I will think about it. But thank you."
And then-
Everything shook.
The building rumbled sending those on their feet on the ground. Quickly Brock and Reggie in their Team Rocket uniforms came in. "Is everyone alright?" He asked before another rumble sent them back on the ground.
"What is going on?!" Dawn yelled gripping Zoey next to her.
Paul was already near his brother's side.
"I believe that we're about to get the signal to finally regain what those weaklings took from us."
Everyone could hear the hidden rage within Paul at the moment. He has been fairly quiet throughout this whole situation.
It has been because he felt so empty without his team. He was at a lost. He was powerless without his pokemon and it hit him deeply.
It hurt and he wanted that feeling to go away.
Paul wanted revenge on Team Rocket.
And now that time was nearing.
'Hurry up Ketchum. If I can hardly contain myself from attacking them, I don't know how you are handling it."
"Noland! They are more grunts coming our way!" Ash yelled towards currently hacking Frontier Brain.
"Just hold them off for a little while longer." Noland yelled, his fingers dancing across the keyboard as the numbers and text flashed on the screen in rapid order.
"Ash, you should use your aura!" Anabel called out to him. "We won't be able to physically hold them back!"
Ash gritted his teeth. "I won't be able to control that much aura. It will blow up in our face and probably make this worse! !" He got an idea. "But I do know what I can do!"
He touched his hand to the shiny floor. "Giratina. Please defend these guys off… but please don't hurt them… much." He whispered softly.
Red eyes shimmered from the ground. Satisfied that it will be able to at least do something for it's rage.
"Alright get down and we'll go easy on you!" The leader of the grunts, a team Rocket Commander called out to our heroes while he and the other grunts released their pokemon. Combined with the numbers of the humans, it totaled a number of over sixteen opponents!
No human, no matter how talented they are could take on over twelve pokemon and four humans.
But luckily they got a trump card.
The Rocket Members halted towards the charge when a black vortex appeared from the ground.
It then expanded and slowly a glowing lithe shape emerged.
Both the rockets and the pokemon halted in the their steps, frightened at the strange shape that emitted an ominous aura.
Still partially connected to the Reverse world, his origin form filled the hallway blocking the hostiles from the Frontier Brains.
"IIIIIIIRIRRRRRRAAAAAHHHHH!" It's roar quaked the hallways and deafened all noise around them.
The Team Rocket commander after he shook his head, did not seem to register the threat in front of him.
"What are you cowards waiting for?! Attack it!"
Before they could even get the chance, blue flames erupted from the golden crested mouth and launched towards the group. The sheer force of the attack knocked back the pokemon and human. Most of them fainted as soon as it hit them.
Two humans and four pokemon in total had been knocked out. The rest were barely standing.
The commander kept trying to get his pokemon to attack the legendary but the sheer malice of Giratina made them freeze in place.
Giratina turned it's eyes towards the commander, deeming the insignificant human to the most annoying, and so it released an Aura Sphere slamming the man into the metal wall.
The remaining few tried to run, but another Aura Sphere kept them from going anywhere.
Slowly, Giratina slithered a bit further into the building from the vortex creeping nearer to the unconscious humans and pokemon. Anger burning in its eyes…
"Giratina! That's enough!" Ash's voice pierced through the haze of anger that enshrouded it's heart. Like the time with it's grudge against Dialga, the trainer's voice started to sooth it.
Turning it's head around it saw, Ash looking at it expectantly. He was frowning and it showed through his amber eyes that it thought Giratina's performance was enough.
Truly it did not understand it humans seemingly infinite kindness to spare the miserable dirt that attacked them. But very well.
With a nod it slowly went back to the Reverse World but not before releasing a noise to convey a message to its trainer.
Anabel, always the convent translator spoke for it. "It wants to remind you that if you are still in danger that you should still call it." She said to him.
Ash nodded grimly. "Yeah. Thanks."
With that, Ash watched the rest of Giratina disappeared and yet the feeling of something watching him didn't disappear.
"Yikes. That was too close." He muttered, releasing a breath that had been pent up in him.
A reassuring hand from Anabel brought a little comfort. "It isn't easy being a trainer for a legendary. The reason why you were accepted because you will not let that power consume you." Her voice carried wisdom that eased his beating heart.
"Finally! Sorry about that!" Noland called out to the two. "The last firewall was a bit tricker than I anticipated but then again I am hacking into a multi-billion dollar corporation. But with this we should. Be." He clicked one more key. "Done."
And all computers began to shut off and the lights turn off. All the power was gone and the only light around here was from the windows and glow of the unown portals.
"Let's go!" Noland got up already rushing back towards the place where their pokemon were being kept.
"You really outdid yourself this time old man." Greta muttered carrying Spencer on her back. Brandon was watching any person who might try to sneak up on them in the dark hallways. They were walking at a quickened pace to make sure they were not late for the party.
"Shush. You're one to talk. You went down to the depths of the Ocean and the Earth to meet your legendaries receptively… Now focus on not dropping me okay?"
Greta rolled her eyes and picked up the pace.
"Brandon how far do you think we are?" She asked the leader.
"Close. I can feel the call of our pokemon near." He said as they passed a nearby unown portal. He may not be as sensitive Anabel, but the bridge between his own pokemon were solid, not to mention his Golems that he would sacrifice his life for emitted a signal that all learned to listen to for most of his life.
Uuuuunnnooooowwwnnnnn
While that seemed creepy, what was probably more disturbing was when they turned the corner and saw the lines of passed out bodies of Team Rocket grunts lining the hallways.
Brandon sighed. "Lucy, Tucker, I would appreciate you would stop going overboard."
From the shadows, the Pike Queen and the Dome Ace stepped out, looking at each other competitively.
"So who won?" Greta asked completely ignoring the scene.
Lucy huffed in annoyance. "I excelled as always of course." Tucker proclaimed.
"BY ONLY ONE! YOU TOOK MY WIN!" Uncharacteristic of the normally cool and collected Pike Queen, she snapped at Tucker. Apparently she was aiming at one grunt when Tucker came in and knocked the unfortunate victim before she could get to him.
The rest Frontier Brains sweat dropped at the fact these two made sport on knocking people unconscious.
Brandon shook his head. Wondering if he was as much as a nut job as the rest. It seemed to be a requirement to become a Frontier Brain.
He suddenly had an uncharacteristic thought. 'I really hope people don't see me as a Ruin Maniac.' The Pyramid King was suddenly nervous.
Noland, Anabel and Ash were coming back to the commander center. It was faster now that they knew the route and didn't have to Grunts getting them. Plus with Ash's aura sight leading them, it was as easy as in broad daylight.
Once they were almost there, they halted hearing voices. If on reflex he deactivated his blue eyes.
"AH HA! I knew it was this way!" The loud obnoxious voice of Jed came from another part of the corridor followed what was many people.
"Oh hey guys…" Jed said once he noticed the trio.
Ash peered behind him and saw a few new additions had been added to the group such as Gym leaders he recognized from the Kanto League and… where those people from the Orange Islands?
"Ah good. Seems were all here." Unexpectedly, Brandon, followed by the remaining Frontier Brains just came in.
Automatically Anabel rushed to Spencer's side seeing his condition. "Spencer what happened?" She asked the elder man.
The Palace Maven merely smiled. "Don't worry about me. Quick we are almost there."
Brandon once again took charge. "Alright. Everyone between me and Noland. Tucker, Lucy stay in front. You will be the leading party when we enter the lab."
Everyone, having no better plan, agreed right away and then they were all walking at a brisk pace toward where their pokemon were being kept.
"Good job using Aura sight for this.." Ash heard Jed quietly praise him.
Ash's eyes temporarily widened towards Jed. The older teen himself flashed his eyes green quick enough that no one would really notice unless directly staring at him.
"Oh yeah… You too?"
Jed chuckled sheepishly. "Yeah… I'm terrible at directions… however finding my way with this often gets me where I need to go. Keep that in mind for the future."
Ash nodded silently.
Then they were at the door that they last saw their pokemon go in.
"Noland." Brandon called out.
"On it." The ex-Pokemon ranger was already hacking the door, now that the power keeping it closed was down.
Brandon was already making plans.
"Alright. Those who cannot fight, stay in back. I want Tucker and Lucy to go in, take any hostiles down. Once there, everyone grab their pokemon."
They all nodded.
A small ding sounded.
Noland turned to the group. "Alright everyone. Ready?"
Everyone tensed.
As soon as the doors opened, Tucker and Lucy rushed in the darkness. In a matter of seconds, only a few yells followed by the sounds of thuds and grunts and then silence.
"Clear." Came Lucy's calm voice.
Everyone walked in. The room was dark, mostly illuminated by crystals that had grown by the unown.
But there, surrounded by machines, were cases of the poke'balls that had been stolen.
And there, in a glass case, curled up in a ball was Pikachu.
Ash forgot everything around him once he saw his partner. "PIKACHU!" He rushed towards his pokemon.
Pikachu, hear his name. Looked up and squealed in glee. "PIKAPI!"
Ash reach the case. But it looked like a completely complex machine.
A figure reached to his side.
"Let me handle it." Noland said to the rescue. In a flash, the case opened and Ash had Pikachu in his arms!
"PIKA!" Tears were emerging from Pikachu as he snuggled his cheeks to his trainer's cheeks. The small jolt of electricity passed between the two.
That wasn't the only reunion. One by one, bright lights of Pokemon being released and the cries of joys between pokemon and humans were music to everyone's ears as they all joined together.
Ash was quick to release his own pokemon. Noctowl, Heracross, Torterra, Tauros and Buizel all had started to rub against their trainer in worry and affection.
Ash hugged them all, checking to make sure they were not harmed.
Luckily for everyone. No pokemon had been tampered with. Apparently the scientist that had been knocked out were still going over what they had before they began any real experiment. Also didn't help that random unown started popping out of no where, causing mass induced panic.
However, standing beside his own Golem Trio, Brandon was still dishing out the orders.
"I hate to say it but all you make your reunion short as those who are not use to combat situation, find an exit as soon as possible." He turned to Spencer. "I'm sorry Old Friend, but I need you to lead them out of here. I don't think you health would be best to take down the rest of Team Rocket." The Pyramid King offered a small smile.
Spencer gave one back. "Ah… My days in the Front line are dwindling aren't they?"
Greta spoke up then. "I wouldn't say that. But you need to take a break. Summoning Unown to cause havoc isn't something everyone does everyday."
"Aye… you're right." He turned to the crown. "Alright. Who's want's to get out of here?" No one was raising their hands. "Now now… There is no shame in retreat. After all, since some of you are inexperienced with battle, you may just be more of a hindrance." He told them honestly.
Ash noticed the nervous looks on his friends. "Guys…. Please don't worry about me. I want you guys to be safe… after all. This is a an average day for me!" He said with a grin.
Then one by one, hand rose in the air. First it was it was Erika, who was always a pacifist. Not wanting to leave her friend on her own, Janine also joined then. Blaine, knowing he would be a hindrance at his old age joined in.
Dawn, Barry and Zoey, always together decided to go as well. Then May who made Max raise his hand also were going. Then the rest decided it would be best. Misty, Brock, Rudy, Reggie, Paul, Gary, and Luana would all be going next.
No one noticed a certain Aura Philosopher was no where to be seen.
"What are you guys going to do?" Reggie asked Brandon.
"We are going to stop Team Rocket from whatever they are trying to get here. We can not abide till the Elite Four get here as then it will be too late. If they are after what we think they are after then there is simply no time to waste." He said firmly.
Everyone found they had no chance to argue.
And so the two groups went their separate ways. One going out to safety, and the other delving deeper into the Arbok's nest.
But before they all departed.
"Hey Lucy." Brock voice was quiet when he called out to the Pike Queen.
"Hmm?" She was confused by his behavior.
The dark-skinned man gulped. "Please be careful." He said looking nervous. In the back of his mind he was beating himself over the head, remembering how she easily dispatched those scientist.
But before he knew it, a soft feeling granted his lips.
"Thank you. It's not often people worry for me… I'll come back." Was her shy reply.
And once again, Brock's brain had short circuited and had to be dragged off by Max.
"I swear, first I needed to stop you from flirting with girls now I need to keep yourself from looking like an idiot with your jaw on the ground…" Was the mumbling of the young trainer.
In the different wing of the Silph Co building, were the vaults. Holding the most valuable and delicate of the latest technology. Guarded and handle with the utmost care.
As for now.
It was chaos.
"Seviper Flame Thrower!"
"Hariyama! Giga Impact!"
"Salamence! Hyper Beam!"
"Manectric! Thunder!"
"Gyarados! Aqua Tail!"
"Torterra! Leaf Storm!"
"Dusclops! Dark Pulse!"
The Battle Frontier wasn't known for it's subtly when angered.
Both Pokemon and Humans, all belonging to Team Rocket were swept away by the sheer power of the Frontier Brains.
The humans, now reunited with their dear pokemon, had charged into the rest of the large second wing of the Silph Co in their pursuit to drive out Team Rocket. By now, the backup generators have activated providing more light, and while the remounts of some unown still remained, the ritual Spencer had cast earlier was no where near as chaotic as it had been.
Once the large crowd of grunts had been knocked out, it was decided that people spit into groups to cover more ground. Brandon going on his own as he still had his three Regis with him.
"So what are we looking for?" Ash asked Anabel after they have separated from the main group. Pikachu was on his shoulder, his tiny claws clutching tightly to his trainer's shirt. Torterra's heavy steps were coming from behind and Espeon was next to her own trainer.
Looking at her, her eyes had been narrowed and an icy feeling of anger was emitting from her. Now that everyone and her pokemon were safe, nothing was distracting her from going after those who had harmed and caused strife with the people and pokemon she cares about.
Ash couldn't blame her. He himself was steaming mad and it was only because of reuniting his pokemon had actually calmed him down so that he wasn't charging head on Team Rocket himself.
"Simple. Take down as many Team Rocket members possible, take down and possibly apprehend the admins and mostly keep them from taking any of the Silph Co technology." She said simply and mechanically. Her fist were silently clutched, and a grim determination surrounded them both.
"Hey Anabel…. if we get out of this….. Could we-" His tone was hesitant.
"Ash…" Anabel turned to him. Her stoic face turned brighter as she let forth a small smile. "What are you talking about? Of course we are going get out of this." She lightly tapped his nose. "Where's that Ketchum confidence?"
"Pikachu!"
Ash's face turned red. Not exactly the most appropriate place but he couldn't help it.
"I-ah…. well… I mean. You're right!" He grinned wide and large. The light fluffy feeling was back backing him feel better.
"What I mean is… when we get out of the… could you… have a battle with me?" He asked shyly hoping she would say yes.
Now normally this wouldn't be considered romantic to most people. In fact this could be the last thing you would consider romantic.
However…. when it came to these strange two, who spoke with emotions and nothing got them more emotional than a fierce battle between friends.
They who got to know each other when they first met through battling, learned about their strength and weakness and brought them this far.
They who loved to battle each other, who haven't gotten an opportunity to and were rudely interrupted by Team Rocket.
To have another battle between them before the actual Battle Frontier season starts sounds like a great way to start.
"Of course."
A woman with glasses and a bored expression appeared behind the Team Rocket Boss. "Mr. Giovanni, the members within Silph Co vaults along with several of our assistant Admins have lost contact. We have assumed they have been taken out. Not only that but the Pokemon we have taken from the arena have been lost."
The lines marring Giovanni's face deepened. A nasty shadow was covering his eyes as his inner rage was brimming at the constant failures and mishaps that all have been bombarding his perfect plans.
"Well I guess it's best we retreat." His voice was calm, but Matori could practically feel the malice in the air.
She worded her next sentence carefully.
"What should we do with our downed members?"
"Leave them." Giovanni said getting up and already opening the window where stairs to a airship was already outside. "They have proven their worthlessness by losing to those fools of the Battle Frontier." With that he and the secretary left on the airship.
'The Battle Frontier….'The loose cannon to all of this. They were the wild card to his plan. He gambled and he lost. With this, the presence of Team Rocket in Kanto has diminished greatly, and thus they would have to go further underground.
But already his main cards have been carefully placed. There are still more places were he can take root.
On to the next region.
Soon enough, the official Pokemon Police began their attempt to arrest Team Rocket, of course, all the Team Rocket members they saw there had been knocked out, beaten, bruised with some even begin the police to lock them up away from the Battle Frontier.
So, one by one, the criminals were taken and locked up.
The Battle Frontier had just begun to exit via the back entrance.
"Hey! There you guys are!" Everyone saw Scott next to Spencer waving at them.
As far as they knew, their boss had been outside the whole commotion.
"Wooo! Uh…. huh…." Running up to them out of breath, Scott smiled. "Thank goodness you guys are alright! I was worried sick!" He cried dramatically, streams of tears running down behind his glasses.
Everyone sweat dropped at his theatrics, even Tucker who was king of dramatizing had nothing to say.
"Good to see you guys got out." Spencer told the rest of his co-workers.
Everyone smiled, but the fatigue of this whole event has worn them down.
And slowly, things began to settle.
The pokemon who have been stolen have all been returned. Silph Co has been cleared of charges seeing how they were ignorant to the plans of Team Rocket and slowly damages were being repaired.
Ash was glad to see his friends all safe. He talked about the events of how and the rest of the Frontier Brains took care of Team Rocket throughout the building.
And then, everyone started to depart ways.
Dawn, Zoey and Barry were heading towards Vermillion City. Along with May and Max to watch and participate of the Conference being hosted there.
Brock was going to prepare for his academic letter for College to finally pursue being a doctor for pokemon.
Paul and Reggie returned to Sinnoh, too much excitement for their normally calm lives. That and Paul was training to be invited to challenge the Battle Frontier.
Gary was heading back to his research island. His desire to make contour measures against organizations like Team Rocket to prevent anything like earlier from happening ever again.
Misty however was determined to explore the world more. She wanted to get more experience and there was a world out there. If her sisters could go off and do nothing useful yet still explore the world.
And someone who was in the same boat as her was Rudy from Orange Islands. Maybe something will happen.
Something that would be similar that happened to Ash when he spent time with Anabel.
And speaking of Ash and Anabel!
Both parted ways. Ash to Pallet Town and Anabel the Battle Tower.
They like the rest of the Frontier Brains, all were going back to their respective facilities to ready themselves for the next chapter.
The season of the Battle Frontier!
Already for the more well known and accessible of the Battle Frontier Facilities, trainers eating to sharpen their skill have already begun to pool in. Scott was already recruiting those who showed promise and were already directing them to be at different Facilities according to how they showed develop their skill.
It would take a while though for trainers to reach the more remote locations such as Tohjo Falls and Pallet Town.
Ash took a nice leisurely walk back to his home down. He kept his pokemon he had brought with him to Saffron City out as he walked back. He wanted to talk to them. During the night he rested, he went to a nearby pound, touching the surface. There arose Giratina, turning into its Altered form in the presence of Earth's Gravity.
Ash surprised the Legendary with a hug to it's large form. A thank you for everything Giratina had done for the boy and his friends. The sincerity behind this thank you, was overwhelming for the Legendary.
The bitterness it felt at the humans that caused all this trouble and how it didn't get to destroy them… that bitterness faded away.
Instead somewhere, where it's dark heart laid, got a little bit brighter and a little bit warmer.
So when it returned to the Reverse World, one would say that the strange diminution started to look even more beautiful and felt a little warmer.
Ash visited Viridian Forest, to see his Pidgeot and relay the events that happened.
He arrived home to his mom and told her about the events.
Of course he got a full motherly check up to make sure he unharmed and healthy.
Ash along with Pikachu were subjugated to couch with hot fresh soup.
But another day passed.
And so, just two days after the who Team Rocket takeover, two people who decided a little bit ago to deepen their friendship into something else, met again. Away from the distractions of town, away from the from others, just before the start of the Battle Frontier.
The Castle Guardian met with the Salon Maiden.
"Are you ready for this battle Ash?"
Amber eyes looked fondly at the lavender ones; the fiery passion of battle burning within both.
"Always… Anabel."
"Pikachu."
The Next Chapter.
The last Chapter.
Ash Verse Anabel.
I thought this was going to be the last chapter however the reason it took so long is that I went over five reversions of it.
I had five different endings and none of them worked for me.
Everything felt too fast paced or too slow.
So I decided that the best way to end this story that has been with all of us so long is for a battle between two characters whom we come to love and who we love to be together.
Ash and Anabel.

Also for those who want to see where a certain OC went.
Well… he has his own side story.
But I made it separate for people who wanted to get one with the next chapter.
Reading this is completely optional.
After the last chapter I will be making a very long author's note as to why I been slow on updates these past two years.
Jed's Secret.
Meanwhile, off to another section of the building.
"Spina spinda…." Grumbled the Spotted Panda pokemon.
"I'm sorry Spinda. I know you wanted to have a tearful reunion but we got a job to do. Besides… you already knew about the capture."
"Spin spi…" Came more grumbling.
Jed sighed looking around the corner.
It was clear. As he headed further down the hallway the normally passive face of the Aura Philosopher twisted into a deep frown. Green eyes turned sharped and hostile.
"Well well well… I knew that awful smell was familiar. Seriously? You've fallen so low to manipulate Team Rocket?" Jed said seemingly randomly.
Behind him though, was a Team Rocket Grunt. This one's eyes were shadowed but had a twisted grin.
"Ah… little Jed… looks like you're senses had improved." The grunt said with a mocking tone.
Jed turned around, impassive. Spinda also had a sharp contrast to his goofy self. The pokemon was frowning, almost baring his teeth towards the stranger.
"Well, nearly dying does make a great incentive for one to improve." He said sarcastically. "So… mind telling me what you doing here dressed in something less ridiculous than your suit of armor?"
The grunt just kept smirking. "Still using childish taunts? Still... there's a twinge of bitterness that doesn't suit a hero you know?"
Jed scowled. "Who said I was the hero? I'm just here to stop you." His green eyes flashed with aura. Cold, hostile and brutal. "One way or another."
The grunts eyes revealed themselves as well. They were a golden sheen of malice and a hint of insanity that would send chills to a normal person. His grin went even wider and laughed. "Ah! Looks who grown up. While I would love to see just how far I could push you like last time, I'm afraid I already done what I wanted to do." In a blur, the team rocket clothing was taken off to reveal the armored figure beneath. "Ciao, little aura user." His armor started to glow. The armor this man wore was special.
However, the armored man was surprised when Jed remained unaffected. This time it was Jed who had the grin.
"Nice try…. Spinda. Aura Sphere."
"SPPPIIIIIDAAAAAA!" Instantly, Spinda released a concentrated ball of Aura Energy. The Normal type throwing all his anger through it caused the attack to radiate a rather fierce feeling that was unlike of Spinda.
Immediately, the armored man took out a sword and cleaved the Aura Sphere in two, but had to raise it further when another sword, a smaller one clashed against his own. Jed was there with his own sword, putting pressure on his enemy.
The golden eyes narrowed. "So…. it looks like you figured it out…." He said as their swords were still struggling against of each other.
Jed wanted to laugh, but he had to focus putting all his strength against this superior foe. "Yeah… Figured out that you're armor Eternity, emits hypersonic waves that slow the process down of the nervous system of those who hear it… all I had to do is apply my Ability to them and basically, your attack has no effect on me, Guile Hideout."
But before Jed knew it, a flash of Red Aura had him flinging back to the wall.
"Cute." Guile Hideout mocked. "But you have a long way to go before you think you can take me on." With that the armor clad man took off running.
Jed was quick on his heels. "Get back here!" He snarled chasing after his long time foe.
The eerie metallic laughter of Guile Hideout, echoed down the hall before the man brazenly jumped into one of the unown portals.
"Bye bye!"
"GUILE HIDEOUT!" Jed screamed on a rampage intending fully to go in after Hideout.
"Spinda!" His starter cried realizing what his trainer was about to do.
The sound of Pokemon being released and before Jed even got close to an inch to the portal, he suddenly halted. Him crying out to let him go as his Nidoking, Zangoose and Furret were all holding him back!
"Arrgg."
In front of Jed, Spinda had pushed his trainer down.
Jed snapped from his trance of induced rage. Realizing what he nearly had done.
"Ahh…." He hung his head and punched the ground in defeat.
"Dangit… so close….." He muttered to himself. He looked up to see Spinda looking at him harshly while his other pokemon were sending worried glances at him, nervous at his behavior.
"Sorry…" He said knowing that he made his pokemon worry and didn't think about them. He nearly did something very stupid again and at the expense of others. He let his anger get the best of him.
Spinda shook his head. His ears down. He too was disappointed that Guile Hideout had escaped. "Spii naaaa." A comforting paw, while Furret curled up around her trainer's neck.
"Next time….."
