Chapter 35: Date Night
Dick's POV
(Note, this happens before Babs found out about Mar'i)
I licked my lips as Barbara walked downstairs in her skintight, sapphire blue dress with black heels and a simple black necklace. Her curly red hair had been tamed into a tight bun, but one determined ringlet had escaped and hung near her face. Damn. All those kids and my wife's still a sex goddess.
"Put your tongue back in your mouth, Mr. Grayson," she smirked as I took her hand and kissed it.
"You look beautiful, Babs," I whispered before tucking the loose strand of hair behind her ear.
"And you look handsome, but your tie is crooked," she replied before completely redoing it.
"You know, we still have five minutes-"
"No. It can wait until after we get home after the Policeman's Ball. Dad's going to be pissed if we show up like we did last time," she replied before dragging me outside and into the waiting limo.
"Do you think the kids will be alright?" I asked.
"They're fine. Your father is more than capable of taking care of them for one evening," she sighed before looking out the window as I reached over and rested my hand on her inner thigh.
"Dick. No."
"Just a quick-"
"No. Besides, this is your favorite dress of mine."
"You're my favorite. You don't even have to wear anything," I breathed onto her neck.
"Dick. The driver," she giggled as I glanced up to see the man watching us in the rearview mirror.
"Driver, roll up the partition please."

Jason's POV
Isabel slipped her hand into mine as we walked towards the restaurant. She paused and I stopped to look at her.
"What's wrong?" I asked.
"Is it just me or does that woman have a camera pointed at us?" she asked.
I turned to see Vicki Vale with a camera pointed straight at us. I rolled my eyes before ducking into an alley and dragging Isabel behind me. Still holding hands, I quickly led her through the alley up towards an old fire escape. I pulled her up after me as we ascended the stairs to the roof.
"You alright?" I asked as she slid down and tried to catch her breath.
"Y-yeah. Just remember that I'm in heels before we run from reporters," she gasped.
"I'll try to remember that. Sorry, I just like to keep my life private. They haven't even found out about the boys yet. Good news is that we lost her."
"You don't like Vicki Vale, do you?" Isabel asked as I helped her up.
"No."
Isabel just smiled as she placed both hands on my chest and looked up at me. I bent down a little to kiss her but stopped as she looked away.
"What?"
"Do you hear that music?"
She grabbed my hand and pulled me over towards the edge. We looked over to see a group of musicians performing in the park across the street. Isabel looked back at me and smiled. She tapped my chest with her nails and said, "We're finally alone together and there's something I've been dying to do with you."
"Sex?"
"That and something else… I want you to sing for me."
I sighed, "Who told you?"
"Your big brother."
"Don't listen to Dick. He's a dick."
"Pretty please?" she purred, batting her eyelashes at me.
Rolling my eyes, I wrapped one arm around her waist and took her hand into mine. I led her around on top of the roof as we danced to the music.
If I could find assurance to leave you behind
I know my better half would fade
And all my doubt is a staircase for you
Opened out of this maze
The first step is the one you believe in
The second one might be profound.
I'll follow you down through the eye of the storm
Don't worry I'll keep you warm.
I'll follow you down while we're passing through space
I don't care if we fall from grace
I'll follow you down
You can have the money and the world
The angels and the pearls
Even trademark the color blue
Just like the tower we never built
In the shadow of all the guilt
When the other hand was pointed at you
Yeah the first step is the one you believe in
And the second one might be profound.
I'll follow you down, through the eye of the storm
Don't worry I'll keep you warm.
I'll follow you down, while we're passing through space
I don't care if we fall from grace
I'll follow you down...
...to where forever lies
Without a doubt I'm on your side
There's nowhere else that I would rather be
I'm not about to compromise,
Give you up to say goodbye
I'll guide you through the deep
I'll keep you close to me!
I'll follow you down through the eye of the storm
Don't worry I'll keep you warm.
I'll follow you down while we're passing through space
I don't care if we fall from grace
I'll follow you.
If I could find assurance to leave you behind
I know my better half would fade
I'll follow you down.

Tim's POV
I checked my watch. Five minutes late.
"Stephanie! Let's go!"
"I'm coming!" she screamed back at me as I turned to see her at the top of the staircase.
Her royal purple dress clung to her toned body. She was decked in her most expensive diamonds. She wore her hair up… She's so beautiful… But we're late.
"We're late," I snapped.
"We'll get there when we get there!" She hissed before she came to stand beside me. I noticed we were practically the same height.
"I thought I asked you to wear the shorter heels?"
"Not my fault you're short and stand at 5'5."
I growled, "I'm 5'6."
"Tim, stop giving yourself that extra inch. No one believes it. Besides, I'm 5'3 and I get tired of wearing less than two inch heels to make you look taller."
"Where are Michael and Jacqueline?" I asked, ignoring her comment.
"Esmerelda is getting them ready for bed. Did you remember to tell them goodnight?"
Dragging her out to the garage and into the car, I replied, "Stephanie, we're already late. I'll make it up to them tomorrow. I promise."
We sat in silence on the way to the gala. We were already in town with only a few more blocks to go before we arrived at our destination when Stephanie said," You forgot… again."
"Forgot what?"
"You figure it out," she spat as I looked over at her.
It hit me like a truck as I stared at her. I returned my attention back to the road and muttered, "Today's your birthday."
She didn't say anything. She only crossed her arms and glared ahead at the road. I ran a hand over my face before peeking over at her to see her still glaring at the road. I drummed my fingers along the wheel before looking back at her. She is definitely not happy.
Coming to a red light, I looked over at her before turning right when I should have gone left.
"You missed the turn," she mumbled.
"I know."
She looked over at me and raised her eyebrows. I flashed her a smile before looking back at the road. She didn't say anything though. She just stared at me as I pulled into the parking lot of her favorite restaurant.
She started, "Um… the gala-"
"Skipping one can't hurt, right?"
"Right… But you hate this place, Tim."
Reaching for her hand, I replied, "You don't."

Damian's POV
I grunted as my back hit the training mat. Mia looked down at me and smirked before she straddled my waist. Sweat dripped from her forehead onto my bare torso as we lay there breathing heavily.
After a while, she stated, "I win."
"You cheated," I growled.
She wrapped her arms around my neck and said, "Your point?"
I frowned as she got off me and headed towards the shower in our home. I followed behind her only for her to close the bathroom door behind her. We've been married for four months and I haven't even seen her. I knew the conditions before I married her.
We showered separately in separate bathrooms. I naturally finished before her and headed to our room. I flipped the lights on and laid down in the bed before reaching for my sketchbook.
I looked up as Mia walked in and locked the door behind her. She was only wearing a towel around her. She suddenly dropped the towel as I fought to act like I'd seen a naked woman before.
"Damian, you can't touch me."
I nodded as she continued, "But, I want you to draw me like one of your French girls."
"What? You're not French."
"Haven't you seen Titanic?"
"Of course not. I'm not Grayson. I don't have the need to watch films created to appease the female audience."
She blinked before saying, "Fine. Draw me first. Movie second."
Sorry for another boring update, guys. I'm just struggling with major writer's block right now. Don't worry, the next chapter will be better and have a lot more action and plot.
Anyway, I really need to know two things from y'all:
1) Should Dick and Babs get a divorce or not?
2) Should Jason ask Isabel to marry him or not?
Review what you want to happen. I'm still torn between the two. So I'll just go with whatever you guys decide.
