"Harry?" Aundrea said softly, trying to sit up but Legolas cautions her to rest. "I am fine Legolas."
"You are not strong enough Princess," Legolas said to her gently. Aundrea narrowed her eyes at him and he silenced himself. Gathering all of her strength, she pulled herself upright in her bed and looked across the room at Harry. Smiling, she waved to him only to have a sharp pain pierce her chest. Placing her hands on her chest, Aundrea ran her hands only to discover she had bandages wrapped around her chest and waist. She sat in bed merely staring off into space as she remembered arguing with Sirius only to have him stab her in the chest. She had managed to get away but barely. He had looked at her with so much fear in his eyes.
"You're part of the reason I ended up in Azkaban for thirteen years!" he had said to her, the words ringing clearly in her mind. What could that have meant. Shaking her head, she heard Legolas' voice calling out to her.
"Lady Anderson, the sages and I must return to Spira for the weekend, " he said to her cautiously. "You are to stay in the hospital wing until we return, understand?"
Aundrea simply nodded. She watched as the four sages in rows of two with Legolas as the head bowed to her before exciting the wing. Laying back down in her bed, she closed her eyes and fell into a deepened sleep.
"It's a girli, father," said Isabella, bowing.
"You disappoiint me Isabella," said the man with a cold voice.
"But father, I have given you an heir!" Isabella screamed to the man with tears coming from her eyes
"She is not the heir I asked you for," the man repled, his dark brown eyes filled with hatred. "Now leave before I have you killled..."
"Your grace wait cried a man with blonde hair running in, with mages in robes of white. "The child is the One!"
"I beg your parden?" Isabella asked, holding her child close to her chest.
"Your daughter links togeher to pureblood line families!" said the man.
"Which bloodline?" asked Isabella's father...
Aundrea sat upright in her bed that night, drenched in cold sweat. The sharp pain in her chest rose again but she fought to resist it. Looking around, she realized that Harry was in the wing as well sleeping. Getting out of bed slowly, she struggled to put on her robes.
"Need some help?" whispered a voice Aundrea was surprised to hear. Shocked she turned to see that Draco Malfoy was sitting on the bed behind her.
"When did you get in here?" she hissed.
"I snuck in," he said to her guiltily, not daring to meet her piercing amber colored eyes. "I wanted to make sure you were alright…"
"I'm fine," Aundrea said to him stiffly as she slid her arm into her white robes, but winced in pain. Draco walked behind her and tied her robes firmly but gently. Turning to Aundrea he smiled at her before turning to leave the wing.
"Wait," Aundrea whispered to him. "I need to get some air. But I can't walk alone."
"I'll help you Draco said her. Before she could object, he scooped her up in his arms and left the hospital wing. She was surprised at her former friend's strength. After a while, they had reached the Slytherin Common room. Whispering the password, Draco carried Aundrea through the portrait hole and laid her gently on the sofa. She shivered slightly at the draft in the room. Pulling a blanket off the sofa next her, Draco draped it around her. After a few moments, he decided to break the silence.
"I'm sorry," he said to her at once.
"For what?" Aundrea said as she lay curled up on the sofa staring at him.
"Not being there for you when you needed me," he said quietly. "My father strictly forbade me not to speak to you this year, and I was not going to. But when I found out what happened to you, I couldn't help myself."
"Who told you?" she asked him quietly, her amber colored eyes piercing his gray ones.
"Aliana," he said fearfully looking up. Aundrea turned to see that her twin sister was standing behind them with her arms folded. Sighing, she sat down on the sofa next to Aundrae and urged Draco to continue.
"We…both of us have been worried about you, Aundrea," he said to her. "So much has happened this year to you."
"Yeah well, when you go after a notorious murderer, getting stabbed is a part of the job," Aundrea muttered aloud. She stared blankly at Draco and Aliana who looked at her with their mouths agape.
"What did you just say?" Aliana whispered to her.
"You heard me," Aundrea said, her expression cold like her mother's causing Aliana to look away.
"But why on Earth would you go after Black?" Aliana hissed to her. "You can't take him alone Aundrea! You're only thirteen!"
"And?" Aundrea hissed back to her, trying to keep her voice low. "If I hadn't gone after him, he would've gotten to Harry."
"But he couldn't get through the portrait hole, Aundrea," Aliana said to her twin angrily. "It's no wonder mother sent Legolas and the white sages here to watch here to watch you."
"Not this weekend," Aliana said boredly, pulling out her nail fail. The pain in her chest still fresh, she inhaled carefully and waited until it passed.
"What?!" Draco and Aliana said simultaneously. Aundrea shrugged.
"Why?" Aliana asked her twin sister.
"Mother requested them at once," Aundrea replied, blowing her nails. Aliana narrowed her eyes as a smile crossed her twin's lips.
"You had something to do with this didn't you?" she hissed to Aundrea. The young Guardian looked up at her and shook her head. Reaching into the pocket of her robes carefully, she pulled out a letter and read it aloud.
"My dearest love,
I figured you might need a break this weekend, so I have requested Legolas and the Royal Guard to Bevelle Temple at once to rid it of some "fiends." Enjoy your weekend in Hogsmeade. And I will see you soon.
Seymour"
"That bastard," Aliana said angrily, clenching her fists as Aundrea rolled the letter up and slid it back into her robes.
"Wait a minute," Draco said to Aundrea. "Did that letter say 'my dearest love?' "
Aundrea turned to him and nodded. Raising an eyebrow, Draco stared at her and folded his arms. Breaking down under the intensity of his gaze, Aundrea gave in and confessed that she was secretly dating Seymour. Aliana simply smiled at Draco as his face drained of color as he stared at Aundrea before shaking his head in disgust.
"I knew it!" Aliana hissed, throwing a pillow hard at her twin's chest. Aundrea doubled over in pain as the pillow collided with her wound. Collapsing to the ground, she gasped for air, holding her chest before all became cold and black.
Draco and Aliana, scared they might get banned from going to Hogsmeade for the last trip of term looked at one another. Nodding, Aliana helped Aundrea off the floor and placed her onto Draco's back. Quietly the two crept back to the Hospital wing, placing an unconscious Aundrea in her bed. Looking at one another in fear, they ran from the wing and back to the dunegons.
"You think anyone saw us?" Aliana breathed heavily.
"No," Draco said firmly. "We'll check on her in the morning. Let's get some rest."
Nodding Aliana turned and headed up stairs into her dormitory. Shaking her head, she closed the doors before collapsing on her bed and screaming with anger into her pillow.
The Next Day
Aundrea awoke the next day in a great state of pain. So much so that Madam Pomfrey had some of the Wizarding World's best healers come and ease her pain. After resting the weekend, Aundrea's piercing pains were gone.
"Can I go for some fresh air?" she asked Madam Pomfrey quietly , her eyes bright and wide.
"Yes, Princess," said Madam Pomfrey to her, seeing the gloom look in Aundrea's eyes. "Some fresh air might do you some good. But let someone accompany you."
"I'll do it," Harry said, coming into the wing. Offering his friend his arm, she took it and the two happily strolled from the wing.
