"My Lord you have a message."

Looking up Sesshomaru took the scroll and then waved the messenger away. "Well now."

Looking up at him, Kagome blinked. "So who is it from?"

"It is one scroll, but three messages. The first part is for us. Shippo and his mate and kit will be coming to visit in a few months."

"That's good."

Handing the scroll to is step mother, Sesshomaru blinked. "The second part is addressed to you and father last."

Taking the scroll Hiromi blinked as she looked down at it then her eyes went wide as she jumped to her feet. Hiro had been there the last couple of months and was doing great. And for her not to worry about him. "Well Kagome you were right. He was with Shippo."

"Who was?"

Looking up at her mate as the miko giggled, Hiromi smiled at him. "Our son. Here your part is last."

Looking at the last part of the scroll Inutaisho growled.

"And finally to you Inutaisho. You should swallow that damn pride of yours and let your boy be who he is going to be. I say give him another year or so and he will come back and kick your ass. Trust me. I would bet anything on it! You were so busy being a controlling dictator to him I am sure that you didn't stop to see the kick ass son you have. But just wait. Just wait."

"I swear next time I see that fox I am going to skin him alive."

Laughing Hiromi leaned on him. "But Kagome said that with any luck he would probably run into Shippo and he would let us know."

Reading over the message for his mate he looked at her with a glare. "Yeah weeks after he left. Any sent trail would be gone by now."

Laughing out loud now Kagome couldn't help but think this whole thing was absolutely funny. "You need to just hush it and deal with it you know. I mean yeah I know you are his father and what not, but he aint like the other dogs." Earning her a growl from both Sesshomaru and Inuyasha. "What it is true you both know it. Hiro is different but not in a bad way."

Dropping the scroll Inutaisho looked up as he sighed. "I wonder where that boy is going to end up next? He better hurry up and get his ass home though."

"He will be home in his own time. Just can it and let it be will ya. I just hope he doesn't run across that mongrel wolf. Then he will come home with the same cocky attitude."

"Koga?" Kagome gave him and odd look then blinked. "Wait Koga was no slouch and is the strongest wolf even Sesshomaru said he had ever come up against. Don't be dissing him okay. If anyone could give Hiro the boost of confidence in training that he needs right now it would be Koga and no one else."

"I have heard that name several times but I don't think I have ever met this Koga." Inutaisho was now looking at his sons and their mates. "Sesshomaru you say he is the strongest you have come across?"

Nodding Sesshomaru crossed his arms. "Indeed. I have spared with him several times before when we would travel. Before Kagome and I mated. There was never a winner or a looser. He is sound and I agree with Kagome. He could give Hiro the boost he needs to push past his limit that he reached when he was there all day long." Sesshomaru then took a deep breath as he turned toward his son as he walked toward them with food in his mouth again. "Perhaps we should send Kazemaru there for a few years."

Blinking as he looked up, Kazemaru saw the looks and laughed and knew his eating was yet another means of amusement. "What is so funny?"

"Your father wants to send you to live with Koga for a few years."

Looking at his mother with wide eyes, Kazemaru went pale. "He isn't serious is he? I would literally die if I had to live with Koga even for a week let alone for a few years!"

Looking at his gluton of a grandson, Inutaisho half smiled. "Let me guess. He doesn't let you eat to your hearts content does he?"

"No. And he makes me eat strange things. Last time I was there for a few days when I was small he told me that I had to eat a serving of worms or no meat for me. I thought that I was going to die."

Giggling again as she leaned her head back to land on Sesshomaru's stomach, Kagome let out a sigh. "Well at least we know he can handle his own. We will find out exactly how much when he gets home. I know if he stayed with Shippo he trained him. I know it."

"But in what?"

Looking at Hiromi she smiled. "I don't know. Shippo is pretty scattered like Hiro is when he fights. But he and his uncle can do stuff with fox magic that no one else can. I bet they teach him how to fight a fox."

"He just better get his ass home." Though he was hiding it effectively to everyone save Hiromi, he was actually worried about him. And did hope that he could learn something new.

"Koga!"

Looking over with a glare from where he sat with his mate and infant pup, Koga growled as Ginta and Hakaku slide to a stop near them. "Would you keep it down? Kou just fell asleep I swear he isn't even a two days old yet and you are loud as ever. What?"

Looking up with a much quieter voice and wide eyes Ginta pointed behind him. "Well to be blunt there is a wolf here that says he is the son of Hiromi and Inutaisho, Sesshomaru's little half-brother. He wants to see you."

Blinking as he and Yori looked at each other then back to Ginta. Standing Koga helped his mate to stand up. "Tell me something. Does he have dog demon stripes that are jagged and dark blue with green eyes and black hair?"

Blinking the two looked at each other then back to Koga and nodded. "He does."

With a smile Koga put his arm around Yori and walked on to meet him. "He is who he says he is. When Yori and I went to go see Sesshomaru and Kagome when we first mated he was barely crawling along with that mutt's daughter. Only wolf in history that I know of that has dog demon markings."

Looking around and tens with a growl, Hiro was starting to think coming to see Koga like Shippo said he should was a really bad idea. They didn't seem too friendly and he knew that Kagome and his mother would not be happy with him if he had to hurt any of them.

"Hiro right?"

Looking up with blinking and wide eyes as a wolf with a gray wolf mate walked toward him, with her holding a pup. "I am Hiro. But how did you know that? I only told them who my parents and brother was not my name."

Stopping just before him, Koga crossed his arms. He looked like a wolf that was for sure. Not like the dogs side of the family. All except for those markings of his that is. "Well to be blunt I am Koga, this is my mate Yori, and son Kou who was only born yesterday morning. When we first mated you were just crawling when we went to go see Sesshomaru and Kagome. What brings you here?"

Relaxed now that all the other wolves seemed to relax and go on since Koga was, Hiro dropped his head. "The long or short of it?"

"Short."

"I was getting tired of being singled out from father cause I don't fight the disciplined stile he does, so Inuyasha said I should leave and see what I can learn. Shippo taught me how to fight against fox magic then told me I should come see you."

Blinking he was confused. "You don't fight like your dad then how do you fight then?"

"Mama says I have the wolf fighting style. Because I don't think I just react and to father he says that it is scattered and unfocused."

Understand now why Shippo stent him there he laughed as he waved his hand with him and walked on past him. "Come on I want a match. You are Sesshomaru's brother and demon that that. I won't be holding back much. I just won't kill you. I wanna see what you can do."

"Really? You want to spar with me right after meeting me like that?"

Nodding as he lead Yori toward the ravine where he did his training he laughed. "To be blunt even the free for all style of the wolves these days have some manner of discipline in them and structure. Mine doesn't. Just like you said you do I think on my feet and see where it takes me. If you really do fight like that they are few and far between and you will call yourself home for the next year and I am going to put you through hell."

Blinking as he followed them Hiro liked the idea of stronger, he liked the idea of being able to get stronger than his father possibly. But to this all he could do was just nod. "I am fine with that. Anything to get stronger to show him I am not weak just different than the rest of them."

"When I am done with you after this next year if you fight like me, you will be able to not only put Sesshomaru in his place, but your old man too."

"That would be amazing."
