Chapter 36

Uriah POV

Smack smack clap smack clap clap-

"URIAH! Stop smacking your face and quit making those obnoxious noises!" Shauna snaps at me from across the table as I wait for everyone to finish their lunches.

I mean, I eat more than all of them, but they take forever. And I do not 'inhale my food'.

That'd be so flipping awesome if I could breathe food.

Like, I could just survive off food….Why haven't we evolved yet? I need that.

"Uriah?" Lynn snaps her fingers rudely under my nose, trying to get my attention.

"PINEAPPLE PIEEEE!" I shout, causing her jump back, hitting Tris.

"WHAT THE HELL MAN!" Zeke shouts back at me, obviously miffed, "IT'D BE PINEAPPLE CAKE!"

Right...Whoops.

Tris stares at me like I sported a second head, which I may as well be that weird.

"So, what's the game plan?" Lynn asks us, "I haven't been here in a while."

We all stare at her.

Obviously we're just trying to make her feel stupid when in reality none of us even have a game plan, seeing how fun yesterday was without one we should really have one.

"We are going to play 20 questions in an awesome way," Zeke says mischievously.

Whoa….Zeke + mischieviously = RUN.

Everyone seems to have the same thought, because everyone, including Shauna, leans away from him.

"How 'awesome'?" Tobias asks cautiously, putting finger quotes around awesome.

That just widens Zeke's grin, "Play and find out!"

Then, of course, he gets up and runs towards his apartment.

I doubt this is as fun as he's making it seem with the running and mischievousness.

"So, we all go around in a circle. Everyone asks one person a question, and if they don't want to answer they have to take off a piece of clothing of the askers clothing. Cool?" Zeke starts when we all arrive at his apartment.

We all nod in agreement, except Christina who looks somewhat scared.

Who can blame her.

Penguin pie.

Sorry- My thoughts are getting in the way with my narration. Back to wherever land in the middle of awkward turtle ville.

I need to stop thinking.

"Let's all ask Marlene stuff first!" Zeke says, and everyone stares at my lovely girlfriend, who looks terrified of us.

I wrapped my arms around her waist, pulling her into my lap.

I shamelessly admit I made that awesome-ass cat face when she snuggled closer to me.

"I'll go first!" Zeke wiggles his eyebrows, "Marlene, how far have you and Uriah gone?"

Marmar blushes a deep crimson, saying quietly: "All the way."

I of course, grin proudly while she tries to cover her face in my chest.

Which brings back that gorgeous cat face.

"Do Uriah's puns annoy you?" Shauna asks.

"Answer wisely," I hiss in Marlene's ear.

I just know she rolled her eyes, "Only when they're lame."

"They're never lame!" I reply, flabbergasted. Did she just insult my beautiful puns?

"They always are," Tris replies, bored.

"My turn!" Christina squeals, forcing our attention to her, "Can I give you a full makeover? say yes for yes and you have to strip for no!"

Marlene frowns, "No."

Christina pouts, "Then take off your shirt."

Marlene huffs before doing as told.

I mouth 'thanks' to Christina who scowls at me while Will grins.

I tighten my hold on her when her shirt's off, loving this game suddenly.

"What's your worst grade?" Will asks.

"No one cares, Will," I say.

"An F!" Marlene says proudly.

While Will's gaping at her, Lynn asks: "If Uriah wasn't your BF, who in this room would you date if they were all single?"

I immediately stop laughing at Will and stare at Mar expectedly, unconsciously tightening my grip on her.

She shrugs her pants off.

I scowl.

"Anway," Tobias states awkwardly, "What's your favorite color?"

"Black," Marlene states simply.

"Have you done drugs?" Tris asks suddenly.

"Yes."

Awkward. Silence.

"How much do you love me?" I ask cutely (I hope cutely).

She smiles sweetly at me, "To the stars and back."

The game continues, weird as ever, until I am asked the last question of the game by none other than Tris: "What would you do if you couldn't find poptarts anyway, so you couldn't eat any?"

I stare at her and reply darkly, "I'd slowly consume the entire world until someone gave me a poptart."
