Okay, last chapter showed you a rather thrilling, and BLOODY chapter that introduced a new character and villain and possible rival to Koji, and now with the Human Spirit destroyed, which in effect destroyed Wolfmon, Koji must now find a way to outrun his opponent given the injuries he sustained, and thus puts him in a fighting disadvantage...
Moreover, another character is introduced, and judging from the chapter title, it's another villain who will cause more trouble for the beleaguered "Legendary Warrior".
For now, enjoy this chapter which is still part of the "Thunder Spirits" arc...
As Koji is about to use the Spirits, he noticed the bubbles forming at the waters of the river, and he instinctively moved towards the shore and braces himself, wondering if it was Koichi, but then the answer became apparent as something slowly emerged from the waters, as another mecha-type Digimon slowly came out, from the head to the torso, it slowly moves toward land and is now standing in front of Koji, appeared to be menacing and emits a sinister aura. Koji can tell and is not pleased with the new chain of event.
"Oh no...please don't let this one be another villain..."
The Digimon in front of Koji resembled a cross betwen a dragon and Mecha-Godzilla, and sports a huge tail that has a drill on its tip, and yet has no wings, making it obvious that it was more of an aquatic-type. The enemy then stood in front of Koji and made his intentions known, and the teen is not pleased with what is about to transpire.
"So...the aura I sensed came from you..."
"..."
"So you're the one I heard..."
"Me?"
"Yes...you're one of the humans who inherited the powers of the "Legendary Warriors"...if so, good timing..."
"What are you...?"
"I've been itching to fight someone from them...and you make a good experimental opponent..."
"Damn!"
The enemy introduces himself as Dragonzordmon, and gave Koji a greeting by spinning around, his tail swinging and its drill tip activated narrowly missing Koji but shredded half of his shirt, nearly missing his skin, and Koji backed away seeing that he's going to have a hard time dealing with a new foe while hoping that the others are able to cope with their current threats, though he wished that help would arrive knowing that Tomoki and Junpei are in no condition to fight.
By then Koji activated his Human Spirit and transforms into Wolfmon and went towards Dragonzordmon, summoning his Kendo Sabers and is going for a slash strike, but Dragonzordmon responded by using his drill tail to deflect it, and succeeded, yet Wolfmon can tell that his opponent lacks some speed and capitalizes on this by jumping up and struck him on his upper torso, managing to scratch him yet it wasn't fazed, and as Wolfmon tries another attempt, something unexpected happened.
"Finger Missiles!"
Missiles fired from Dragonzordmon's fingers and struck Wolfmon down, and the Digimon fired again, and the next few blasts disarmed Wolfmon as the enemy came closer, delivering a barrage of hand strikes before spinning around, his drill tail hitting Wolfmon and this disabled him for a few moments before Dragonzordmon does another drill tail attack, sending Wolfmon falling down, and his Human Spirit was ejected, and Dragonzord grabbed it before crushing it, which destroyed the Spirit.
As Koji gets up, he realizes that he now only has the Beast Spirit in his possession and is about to use it, but Dragonzordmon caught him and uses his sharp jaws to bite him on his right shoulder, and the teen screams out in pain.
"AAAARRRGGGHHHH!"
"Hmm...I guess human flesh doesn't taste bad at all..."
Koji managed to break free from his enemy, but clutched his shoulder as he is bleeding out, and he is forced to run away to get some distance so he can evolve, but with his injuries, he has to regroup and find a way to outsmart him before he gets the chance to head back to where Takuya and the others are. He is worried about what Lust-Mon and Envy-Mon are planning to do with Takuya and Izumi, and at the same time worried about what has become of Koichi after recalling how Eny-Mon can asume the form of Susano-Mon, so for now he needed to escape and find time to heal his injuries before resuming in finding a way out.
As Koji went inside a forest, he ripped his shirt and uses them as bandages to cover the wound and stop the bleeding, seeing that he has made a trail of blood and he realized that he would be tracked down, and within minutes he his fears are realized as Dragonzordmon is seen walking around, following the trail of blood and began to use its drill tail to topple down the trees to clear a path while screaming for Koji to come out, taunting him.
As Koji moved behind a huge rock, he used pressure to stop the bleeding, which slowly worked and began to stayed still as his "predator" narrowly missed him and moved to another direction to find Koji,and there he pondered on how to find a way to escape the island without alerting his enemy, and wondered if he should head back to Trailmon in his current condition as he needed to get his wounds properly patched. He knew that the enemy would take advantage of his weakened body but recalled that he still has the Beast Spirit, so he may have to tap on that Spirit's power to compensate his weakened stamina due to his wounds.
As Dragonzordmon moves a bit farther, Koji slowly walked towards the opposite direction, sneaking away and hoped that he hasn't been noticed, as he has to save his stamina in an effort to escape the island realizing that his opponent apparently couldn't fly, so he has to time his move and make sure he is far away from Dragonzordmon's firing range so he can have enough time to evolve into Kendo-Garurumon and fly away in a tolerable speed so as not compromise his stamina knowing he is quite far from Trailmon's location.
"Please don't notice me...I can't affords to die here..."
After several minutes, With the coast apparently cleared, Koji uses the Beast Spirit and evolves into Kendo-Garurumon and flew to the sky in a rather slow speed as he needs to adjust his body because of his wounds, but in an ironic twist, Dragonzordmon arrived and was too late to prevent his escape, but fired finger missiles, one which struck Kendo-Garurumon's injured shoulder, which slowed him but nevertheless able to escape.
"Oh no, you don't Finger Missiles!"
"AAARGGGHHH"
As Kendo-Garurumon continues to fly away, Dragonzordmon went to the sea, apparently to follow him, intent on killing him.

After about 15 minutes, Kendo-Garurumon was flying but its speed was quite slow because of the impact of Dragonzordmon's missile attack, and needing to adjust the "bandaging" of his wounds, he saw another island and decided to land there to get some rest and recover some of his used stamina, and reverted back to normal. He went to an area where several trees are seen, and saw Toucamons picking fruits from the of curiosity, Koji picked one and tasted it, and the fruits turn out to be consumable even for humans, and picked some more to eat it in order to regain his strength.
After another 20 minutes, Koji decided to look around to see if he could find some materials to help his case and then he adjusted his "bandages" to cover the wound, and managed to keep his shoulder from bleeding out. As he continued his exploration he came across a hill and decided to climb up to see a better view as well as to see if there are any more threats coming, but bad luck got to him as someone appeared from the top of the hill, and Koji started to feel pressure again as the two exchanged words.
"Ah..."
"..."
"So...you're human..."
"What do you..."
"A "Legendary Warrior", huh?"
"You knew...?"
"Yes...and with your death...Lord Lucemon would be pleased..."
"Damn!"
The Digimon who appeared resembled a white, mechanical brachiosaurus dinosaur, but this one is different, as it resembled a tank with cannons mounted on its sides, and he is identified as "Titanus-Mon", and he made his intentions clear that he is ordered by Lucemon to slay the "Legendary Warriors", and Koji seethed as he is now facing another danger, and judging from its appearance, Titanus-Mon weapons appeared to be BOTH short and long-ranged in firing, and is now bracing for any eventuality as the enemy taunts Koji.
"Judging from your wounds...it appeared that my fellow comrades have got to you..."
"I don't have time to play with you!"
"Oh, but I do..."
"Damn!"
"Let's play right now..."
"..."
"How about I shoot you on the spot...?"
"!"
But before Koji could respond, Titanus-Mon opened its mouth and fired a huge fireball and is heading at his way, and Koji moved fast to evade the blast, and the fireball struck the trees, killing several Toucamons in the process, and he could feel his wounds "acting up" as his fast movements could affect his body, and now he is in a situation, and seeing the arsenal his opponent possesses, Koji couldn't afford to make careless actions and needed to think of something to get away from his current predicament.
"At a time like this...!"
Stepping away, Koji kept his eye on his opponent as Titanus-Mon fired more of his fireballs from its mouth, and there he is able to predict which way the fireballs are heading and thus is able to dodge them and went towards the forest, taking advantage of the thick trees to blur the sights, but Titanus-Mon was unfazed and began to move out, using the road to travel down and head towards the forest. With this, Koji has enough time to get out ad use the Beast Spirit to evolve to Kendo-Garurumon and fly out of the island.
However, as Koji reached the shore and is ready to evolve, another unexpected problem showed up as Dragonzordmon appeared from the sea and walked towards the shore where Koji gritted his teeth in seeing that he is about to face another obstacle, and this would surely cause many problems for him as he is already having problems dealing with Titanus-Mon's arsenal and with his wounds still fresh from Dragonzordmon's bite.
"Aha!"
"Eh?"
"Good to see you again!"
"Not you again!"
"Looks like fate would bring us together..."
"..."
"Then let us dance...to death!"
"Blast it!"
Dragonzordmon began to spin around to have his drill tail hit him but Koji evaded them, but because of his wounds, Koji couldn't move fast enough as each movement is causing pain on his wounded shoulder, and as the minutes passed by, Koji is starting to get impatient and is ready to activate the Beast Spirit, but something bumped him before he gets the chance to do so, and the impact sent the teen boy thrown towards a tree and re-injured his shoulder and blood starts to drip again.
"UUUHHHNNN!"
The scene shows that Titanus-Mon was the one who rammed Koji and this time both Digimons fired their missiles and nearly struck Koji, but he evaded yet the multiple shrapnel pierced his entire body and the ground he is standing is starting to be filled with blood, and the now further wounded Koji is forced to run towards the forest, and as Titanus-Mon is about to give chase, Dragonzordmon offered an idea on how to "ace" Koji.
"Blast! I can't get through that forest as I might miss hitting him!"
"No need..."
"Eh?"
"Lets blast the whole forest!"
"Really?"
"Better than letting him escape us..."
"Okay..."
"Fire!"
By then the two Digimons opened fire and a barrage of missiles and powerful blasters shoots the forest and soon it was reduced to burning woods and ashes, and as Dragonzordmon approached the ruins, all that is remained are Koji's "bandages", his burnt bandana, and a pool of blood, and there the two Digimons rejoiced as they have finally killed the "Legendary Warrior" before taking their leave, as they are now going to focus on the rest of Koji's friends.

Hope you like this chapter, as it introduced another new character in to the fold, and this time a new enemy to the "Legendary Heroes".
Titanus-Mon is based on the "carrier zord" of MMPR, and though implied to be sentient, this Zord rarely acted on its own and usually appeared when an Ultrazord formation is about to take place. So here I decided to give him a "life" of its own and act as another foil to Koji's attempt to reach out to Takuya and the rest.
Looks like I'll be getting some angry comments as I decide to kill off Koji, but the story is just getting interesting as the Takuya and the gang are soon to rebound and recover form their ordeals...or is it...?
